SHIN 新世界 SEKAI |
NEUTRAL / CHAOTIC EVIL ● MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
ABOUT what we stand forwhat we fight for what we are | 新世界 Shin-Sekai (Translation: New World) INTRODUCTION "The Seven begun it. We will finish it. Shin-Sekai will lash out at the last bastions of impurity in this world and see that they are extinguished. We will impose a new regime where we are not ruled by complacent Digimon who think themselves gods untouched by the laws of man or democracy. We will break their system. We will make our own. GOAL And in this system it will be good: it will be fair, and it will be pure and of divine right. The gods of men and Digimon will look down upon us and smile. For the Seven were locked away in a manner unjust and unlawful. We will see the return of righteous law to this land and we will eliminate all the wrongs; but we must sweep the land with a purging wave before any else can happen." DESCRIPTION The Shin-Sekai are a group of tamers, spirit wielders, and Digimon alike. Their goals may vary slightly per individual, but they are all aligned for a singular goal - to take what they want, and to leave many messes in their name along the way. They were brought together on the ashes of a broken guild of mercenaries by Crow, and strengthened over the years through the efforts of Iscariot and several other figures that operated from behind the stage. The group has an unhealthy obsession with Ogudomon - their leader believing him to be some sort of key or saving grace to their cause - if he can be summoned - they could rule the world and truly take anything they pleased. Outside of their main cause of cleansing the world, they can occasionally be seen being hired as assassins or thieves - though their contracts usually don't end well for those who hire them, either. The Shin-Sekai arrived violently, announcing themselves in Triton City in a shower of wrath. Many are unsure what to think of them - some believe them to be potential heroes, being tired of the actions of the Twelve, others seen them as a common mob of thugs, and others yet see them as a cult. Whatever they are - the Shin-Sekai have come, and blood will follow.
EQUIPMENT tools for wartools for unity music of destruction | Depending on character class, members of Shin-Sekai obtain one of the following items upon joining. Members that fit multiple categories are given a choice. They cannot at any time change out this starting item for another item. ◘ HIJACK CODE - (Tamers with Card Scanners only) Highjack Codes are an instrument of terrorism that appear much like standard D-Power cards, though blank, looking much like a simple black card with a barcode upon it. These cards are very similar to the Digicards used with card scanners on Digivices, and in fact function the same and were based on the same technology. However, they have been heavily modified, infused with remnants of Black Gear technology as well. Swiping a Hijack Code card in a card reader will allow the user to take control of a non-player Digimon for three posts. Limit of two Highjack Code uses per thread, which also count towards one's general card use limit. (5 MEMBERS) ◘ OBSIDIAN SHARD - (Solo Digimon and Spirit Users only) Obsidian Shards are collected fragments of the Digicores of darkness-based Digimon. If a Digimon or spirit evolved human devour one of these shards, or simply hold one, they receive a decent boost in power for those connected closely to the Digital World. Once per thread, the user can consume an Obsidian Shard to increase their overall power by 50% for three posts. (5 MEMBERS) ◘ BLACK DIGIVICE - (Tamers with D-1 or D-3 Digivices only) Black Digivices are classic modified Digivices that are infused with technology salvaged from the Dark Area. These devices all their users absolute control over their Digimon, this includes Dark Digivolution, but corrupts the Digimon over time. Black D-1s and Black D-3s function the same other than this feature as normal Digivices, and can be upgraded. (5 MEMBERS) ◘ ARMORY OF THE DAMNED - (Tamers and Spirit Users only) The Erudazu have collected innumerable weapons tainted with the blood of legions of their enemies over decades trapped in the Digital World. Upon reaching Champion-level, all human members of Shin-Sekai (excluding the Kerai) will be granted choice of their own of these weapons. Due to their nature and amassed experience, using these weapons will enable a human to adequately damage Champion-level Digimon. (10 MEMBERS) ◘ VESTIGE OF PURITY - (Solo Digimon and Spirit Users only) A small amulet given to members of the Shin-Sekai, excluding the Kerai. Can be activated once per thread to trigger a shield which will nullify all damage from a single attack from a Digimon of the same level or one level higher. Digimon two or more levels above will penetrate the Vestige's shield and deal full damage, and its charge will still be spent for that thread. (10 MEMBERS) ◘ THE DOORS OF THE CROW - (All types) The one known as "The Crow" has in his time spent in this dimension, through various means, discovered a way to typify certain waypoints and link them together for long-range instantaneous transportation. Whilst this permits a certain visage of universality and the ability to be in multiple places far away over a very short period of time, it has drawbacks. One: waypoints must be manually added by an Erudazu or Horseman member. Two: the Doors cannot be used in combat due to an inability to isolate a single Digicore, but if escape from combat is even partially secured, the Doors can then be accessed provided there is enough time to utilise them. Three: whilst the Doors can be used from anywhere in the Digital World, you can only use them to get TO a number of certain places, listed below. All members of rank Heishi and above are granted access to the Doors. (15 MEMBERS)

TRAITS + ABILITIES blood, and fleshflesh, and blood something more | ◘ THE GRANT - (Trait) In a thread where there are 2 or more members of Shin-Sekai fighting, all of their attacks which have a non-physical composite will deal 25% more damage. This includes physical attacks which have a non-physical composite of any kind, be it elemental or otherwise. (4 MEMBERS) ◘ NO GODS, NO MASTERS - (Trait) In a thread where there are 3 or less Shin-Sekai members fighting, attacks against Digimon of a higher level than the Shin-Sekai members will individually deal 50% more damage. (8 MEMBERS) ◘ METEOR IMPACT - (Ability) A pact will be made. With all the force and destructive energy one can muster, a great meteor will be torn down from the skies and called upon the battlefield, dealing a great AoE earthquake, fragmentation from the shards of the meteor that strikes, and white-hot purgative flames that will burn through one's flesh and attack their very DigiCore; enemies with fire resistance will still be effected as if it were a normal, unresisted attack thanks to this. This ability may only be used once per thread. Meteors cannot be punched. (12 MEMBERS)
MEMBERS the apostlesthe martyrs the sinners | Membership of the group is to not be taken likely. First, members must be approved by one of the Horsemen, and second, they must pass a test with the Shin-Sekai. Details of this test vary from potential member to potential member, but it often involves a difficult or uncomfortable challenge of strength, wit, and skill - rather than being general gang hazing. After they have met these requirements, they must then sign a pact agreeing to not betray or harm the group. Violation of this pact could lead to the group hunting down the offender and blacklisting them. Upon joining, a member will be sorted into the Titans and will be given a mission or task to carry out to get themselves started with the group. Joining the Horsemen or Erudazu requires a special ritual and great sacrifice and devotion. However, joining the organization offers unlimited protection from the organization and from other outside forces and a spot in the ever-growing criminal empire, as long as access to all of their many resources. If one wishes to apply for membership, fill out the form below, and you will be contacted. Shin-Sekai allows joint membership with any other group, including good-oriented teams and guilds. However, in the end, each and every member must have absolute allegiance to the Shin-Sekai and put them before any of their other affiliations. Violation of this could lead to termination. Character Name: Shin-Sekai is divided into several member-groups for organization. Each group has a different level of leadership over the group and operates slightly differently. ERUDAZU The Erudazu are members of the original Seven that were once imprisoned by Lord Jupitermon and his brother Plutomon - or at least what is left of them. They have influenced the creation of the guild greatly They do not technically control or lead the group, though they are often consulted for wisdom and advice. Out of the Erudazu, Crow is generally considered the leader. Some of the more fanatic members refer to these people as their gods. Many of the Erudazu have agendas of their own.
FOUR HORSEMEN The four Horsemen are the commanders of the group, they are the leaders and the law, the absolute sovereigns of everything that goes on in the team. While the Erudazu are looked up to with great respect and often consulted, it is ultimately the Horseman's word that holds the final weight. They were four of the first nine crest holders to become tainted. Out of all of them, DATA ERROR stands as the "leader." They are in charge of all below them, but do not consider the Erudazu as lessers out of respect.
TITANS The Titans are lieutenants appointed and initiated into the guild by either the Erudazu or Horsemen. They command over troops, but haven't the power over the team that their higher ups possess. However, they have each been promised their own kingdom when Shin Sekai's New World is created. They each possess exceptional strength and carry out many of the hands-on missions for the group. The twelve Titans are generally considered the "basic members" of the group.
KERAI The Kerai are the lowest members of the Shin-Sekai - and are essentially slaves, grunts, and foot-soldiers. These are exclusively Digimon either captured and enslaved or mercenaries hired by the group. Their contracts bind them to the guild, else they face harsh capital punishment.
