CLASSES
Here on Digimon : Exodus members have the chance to choose between five unique character classes when deciding on creating a character. Each class functions slightly differently, but all are intended to be balanced around the same level of power, so don't worry so much about choosing a "weak" class! In this thread, each class will be summarized so that you can make an educated decision when choosing one for your character(s). The following sections will briefly go over each character class.
Tamers are humans who have obtained a Digivice through one way or another and were partnered with a Rookie Digimon. A human becomes a Tamer through many factors, though the most common one is a Digivice appearing to them at a troubled time in their life.
• Tamers are the only Class capable of achieving the Biomerge stage - which is a fusion between the Tamer and their partner Digimon and represents their version of the Ultra level.
• Tamers are the only Class that can use Cards, which are special single-use items that can be purchased in the Data Store for varying amounts of Data. Many of these Cards are highly versatile and can be used to aid allies in battle.
Solo Digimon are simple and easy to grasp - as they are simply wild Digimon that do not have Tamers. They make up for this "weakness" by harnessing their own individual potentials.
• Solo Digimon are the only Class capable of achieving the Ultra stage naturally, although this takes a bit of time.
• Solo Digimon are the only Class that can use Drives, which are special single-use items that can be purchased in the Data Store for varying amounts of Data. Many of these Drives focus on the Digimon using them, and help augment their strength further.
Spirit Warriors are lone humans who have been paired with the rare and unique D-Tector Digivice, which allows them to collect and harness Digimon Spirits and become augmented versions of those Digimon, as seen in the fourth season of Digimon; Frontier. Spirit Warriors do not select a Rookie Digimon, but rather select a spirit Element. This has to be some kind of elemental or idea that fits with the idea of a Digimon Spirit, things like Water, Fire, Wind, Chaos, and Law are acceptable Spirits, but complex ideas like "Shadow Wolves," "Martial Arts," or "Kaiju," for example, wouldn't be acceptable.
• Spirit Warriors do not follow the traditional Digivolution structure. Instead, they have H-Hybrid (Champion), B-Hybrid (Ultimate), Fusion (Mega), and Unified (Ultra).
• Spirit Warriors can purchase Spirit Powers in the Data Store, and are the only Class that can use them. These are versatile "superpowers" that allow them to harness their Elements even when in human form.
• Spirit Warriors are the only class that do not have Armor stages.
• Spirit Forms are slightly more expensive than other forms, requiring a bit more of a grind to rank up as this Class.
Twin Tamers are a variant of the Tamer class, so all of the Tamer information also applies to them. Instead of only having one Digimon partner, they instead have two.
• Twins cannot naturally Digivolve beyond the Champion stage without some assistance. In order to reach Ultimate and above, both twins must condense into a single form and fuse together in a DNA Digivolution. Forms are still purchased as normal, though the Champion stage will need to be purchased multiple times in order to obtain a Champion stage for both Digimon.
• Each Twin Digimon is only about as 40% as strong as a normal singular Digimon.
• Twin Digimon must have similar properties, one cannot simply make a Gabumon and a Biyomon twins.
• Twin Solo Digimon are also possible, just simply follow the rules for Solo Digimon and apply the previous three rules to them.
