Pluto, son of Kronos and Rhea. Known in some scriptures as Hades, the bearer of this name was given the title of "God of the Underworld". His pet, known to all as Cerberus, guarded the gates to his realm of everything underground. It was only fitting that this being was an amalgamation of both man and beast.
Vindication? Zealousness? Justice? Order? No, in death there really was no judgment. The poor Ferryman Charon only accepted a single coin and that was more than enough. Then again, these bits of mythos were lost to the ages, and only this being had taken in enough of that ancient data to shape itself and become as close as possible to what the reality could be.
After requesting that Leyton Thomson cease making a fool of himself, @nymphnpc began to explain his appearance. He was attracted to the energy being excreted from one of his spells. "The familiar I had given my friend has fallen - but my question is - why do you bear my mark? What prompted you to defend the city? It didn't concern you, did it?"
Matthew didn't answer right away; his attention was drawn to the burning sensation on the back of his hand. He had been watching his fingers twitch, curl, and unfold with rapid speed and intensity. Pain was nothing new, but he wanted to bite his own hand and kill the nerves.
"You can call me Angeli. Seems like I am the only Digimon here without a partner, huh?" At first she had smiled with a nod towards Angeli . It wasn't uncommon to see a Digimon on its own, but to be part of a group? That was something else. There was a chance to make a friend, had Plutomon not been here. There was a chance to explore more of the world she lived in, had Plutomon not been here...
Margot had sunk back even further, moving just a little closer to Claire's companion. She had no clue what to do. Her own abilities paled in comparison to what she witnessed at the highlands, and she had yet to unlock anything new or useful. Her large eyes quivered and produced tears, her lips trembling against four little toothpicks of teeth. She had never felt so useless before.
She knew what this dark knight was, and what he could do. He was not good, nor was he evil. In death, such alignments were meaningless. All creatures were equal before and after the Reaper's Scythe.
She had never wanted anything more than to be the sister that Mother Baba was so proud and loving of. That sentence meant nothing to her, but the feelings were just the same. She glanced to everyone while Claire was speaking, taking in their reactions or lack thereof. When she took another look at Matthew, she was relieved to find him clenching a fist.
His nails had dug close to his old wound, but there was no blood. It had healed more than well enough, despite breaking open a few hours after the destruction of Triton. Any more stress and it would open right back up. Plutomon had granted both Claire and Matthew a moment to think, and he used it.
Triton City meant nothing to him. It was not his home, nor was it a landmark he wanted to visit. His house was in Maryland. His favorite beach was in Maryland. His friends and family were all across the globe and he could visit them if he just got into his truck and left Maryland.
Triton City was breathtaking. While not Kent Narrows nor Annapolis or Queenstown, it was magnificent. Those days spent rebuilding a place he never though he'd appreciate were some of the best he had this year.
A question was asked, directed towards Astoria Zenker , and Matthew had selected his answer. "Forgive me if I'm interrupting, Lady Astoria, but...
Like you, Plutomon, I was passing through. I had found myself in Triton City shortly after arriving and came across my partner, Margot - the Ota... Otamamon. I had no business after leaving. I simply wanted to go back home and hope this all to be a dream, but didn't know how.
I did not answer the call to action. I was helpless and a total coward in the face of that monstrosity. Margot, on the other hand, simply aided in defending her home. "..."

Dignity... What was dignity? A composed or serious manner or style of demeanor. Who was this Plutomon? The ruler of this dark little city in the slums of the digital world? What was the point of showing him any dignity, he was a former slacker born in a town, in the middle of a bum city. DIgnit was nothing but a fancy word for the higher born to throw around to berate each other with. It was rather funny, the word dignity thrown at someone like Leyton, his pride was dead and gone, it was time for him to excel pass something as petty as pride, it was time for him to become 'the guy' and today was the day he moved on from petty words like "dignity." "As you wish Plutomon," he stood up and slicked his hair back, his smile faded into an empty stare, "You're the boss I guess." He looked about the compound; the others seemed to either be cynical of his attempt at being polite or were frightened of Plutomon, though the dark Digimon wasn't all that intimidating, at least not to the white hair. "Well, I guess I'll sit pretty while the discussion takes place."
It was pretty hard to brother up Plutomon, it was like the guy had never been brothered before, Leyton would have to fix that. "So Plutomon, how are you today?"

[attr="class","smdbody"]"ah swear, leyton, if'n yah don't keep yer fuckin' mouth shut - " first with the bowing and now with the out of place attempt at small chat. the conversation was flowing rather smoothly, after all. information was beginning to trickle out into the open as inquiries were made and individuals relevant to the topic at hand spoke their piece. andrea eagerly clung onto every word spoken, her gaze shifting from CLAIRE LYON to matthew mcdermott - wait a moment. he's lookin' mighty familiar. a memory quickly resurfaced, revealing the imagery of a dark-haired fellow whom had kindly informed her of shelter. her interest became apparent as she openly peered in his direction when he had spoken. he was honest as he opened his mouth to respond to plutomon - admirably so. having developed a fondness toward those whom were truthful and weren't reliant on deceit the redhead was quick to recognize and appreciate such a precious attribute within the man. "hmph!" once her distaste with Leyton Thomson's various choices were made apparent enough she went back to maintaining a dignified sort of silence, her arms now crossed over her chest as she averted her single-eyed gaze. andrea hadn't been apart of the main conflict, nor had she any valuable information to spare. she was naught more than a participant with open ears at the moment, and she would stay that way unless addressed directly. one could only hope leyton did the same. The Rookie level glared at Leyton as once more, he seeming to have failed to get the hint that this wasn't some random individual he was talking to. This was a Digimon whose presense in history has been very well recorded... And she was very sure that he'd be able to delete them all in a instant if he wished. Angeli could almost taste the amount of cringe in the air as Leyton seemed to fail to understand just how dire of a situation this was. How could a man be so foolish... idiotic even! She nodded at Andrea's scolding of the fool, glad to see someone here was trying their best to be respectful here, she also being very irritated at his carefree nature. One of these days, that type of personality could get you killed.
Quietly, Angeli listened intently towards both Plutomon, and those who seemed to be more experienced in this world than her. Both Claire and Matthew seemed to have their own reasonings to defending Triton City, both sensible in such ideals. One fought for pragmatic purposes, the other merely being a bystander as his partner did most of the fighting for him. The carbuncle Digimon gazed back to the Otamamon, perplexed at such as concept. She supposed she could understand that reasoning. For some, one's homeland is just as sacred as their family. Still, that was a disturbing thought that Plutomon seemed to have had in some way a hand in that attack on Triton City she heard about... and apparently was the master of these supposed marks that some of her fellows currently had.
What else was she missing from the big picture here? She honestly did not know... For now, she merely wished to remain silent as people who were more important than her conversed.

OOPS, YOU SAW MY HORNS they're really not halo, just horns Hidden behind an angelic facade; oh how silly, you fell for my lies. It's funny, the joke's on you. Can you hear my laughter? Can you hear my voice? You danced with the devil, now you must pay the price. Nothing can save you now. [attr="class","horns"] Leyton, Leyton. that sorry excuse for a spirit user. Astoria had been trying her best to ignore him but his silliness was just hard to overlook. She gave him nothing more than a glance, quickly scanning him from head to toe before turning back to the more important characters. Foolish little boy.
A mark, a spell, a trophy that one had received from protecting a city. That didn't sound like a good bargain at all, considering how that little reward gave trouble to the wearer despite their efforts. But then again, nothing was fair to begin with. Astoria's gaze softened as CLAIRE LYON began to speak, explaining her side and telling how she treated her battle as something she could do than something she had to do. A SkullGreymon certainly was an opponent Claire would find thrill in.
The German was asked to speak next but before she could matthew mcdermott spoke, beginning with an apology. She flashed him a smile and nodded gently, understanding his need to speak. She definitely was in no rush to answer, in fact, she was still rummaging the back of her head for words so she could relay the news as gently as possible. However, she highly doubted than anyone would actually be that concerned.
Once everyone had given their answers, Astoria lowered her chin slightly. It was her turn. "I give my deepest condolence to Triton City," she portrayed an unquestionable look of sympathy as those words left her mouth. She let a moment pass, a second to gulp, before looking up to meet the gazes of the others "Its king has been assimilated," She informed. It was a grand news! Because, what kind of creature could defeat such a mighty being-- oh but no, Neptunemon wasn't as great as he looked. "A battle that decided who's more worthy of protecting the city had broken out," The sadness that lingered in her voice faded as she proceeded to tell the news "The details are too grim to tell but at the end, Neptunemon and his army proved how inco-" Midway her sentence she paused, glancing at Plutomon quickly "...lenient they had grown." These words were said gentler. Brutal and honest words just wouldn't do for the ingenue she was trying to play.[newclass=.horns]width:418px;height:230px;padding-right:4px;font:12px trebuchet ms;overflow:auto;text-align:justify;line-height:100%;[/newclass] [newclass=.horns::-webkit-scrollbar]width:4px; [/newclass] [newclass=.horns::-webkit-scrollbar]width: 4px;[/newclass] [newclass=.horns::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]width: 10px; background: #000;[/newclass] [googlefont=Oswald]

sweet religion Help me, satan! help me, satan! i've been here so long for the love of god
+ condition: perfect! + passive lich physiology: immune to poisons, bleeds, and gores. 75% reduced damage from darkness. reslient, can resemble. takes triples damage from holy elemental sources. + passive tartarus core: +50% elemental resistance and +25% magical power per undead. + attack none | No sense of duty, no righteous cause. No intention on protecting the weak, simply fighting to fight, fighting because it was an option - fighting because one could. It was a lack of direction and the mentality of a mercenary, but it was certainly a start. It would need to be refined, perhaps it were her partner holding her back. The rabbit did not seem nearly as cruel, the god man could feel it within the very core and soul of the Digimon - he was not inherently evil. But with a little push and shove - anything could be made a possibility. The next claimed that he did not fight - so he was a victim of circumstance. His partner, apparently one whom he had just met, and was currently trembling in fear near Walter, was the one who fought. This was truly interesting - along with the fact that the dark haired tamer was so willing to admit that he was a coward. He accepted his failures - if anything, he were wise, and had just as much room to grow as the leader of the Ringbound. The lazy one known as Leyton obeyed his earlier requesting, switching to a cold demeanor for a moment before relaxing himself once more. That moment truly enticed Plutomon - could that be invoked in a more stable fashion? It seemed there was potential in every soul present, even the the ones he had initially assumed to be worthless. The redhead finally spoke, shouting at Leyton in a thick accent - yelling at him to show respect and to take heed of the situation he was lazing in. Cautious and obedient - she was like a soldier, he had only hoped she could fight as one. The other rabbit present, the one with gems embedded into her body - this one remained a mystery to Plutomon. They were for the most part, silent, but seemed respectful enough. Finally, Astoria began to speak, in her typical elegant fashion, each word rolling off of her tongue as if they were carefully crafted and refined as Germanic silk. "You could be more blunt if you wished, my girl." He spoke in an endearing fashion to the Gazimon tamer, turning his direction towards the whole of the group, "I summoned the Skullgreymon you fought. I summoned forth the army of Skullknightmon you faced. I gave these tools to my sister and I helped her and her Tamer conquer Triton City." His sister - somewhat of a secret that he revealed ever so casually. It was true, none of the Olympus XII were truly his brothers or sisters, but he did have one - the Angewomon involved in the Triton City attack. She was the only one he could trust, and if she had wished to ally with the Seven - then so would he. Besides - Jupitermon, Neptunemon, they were not capable rulers. Not anymore. "Jupitermon, Neptunemon, Junomon, Venusmon, Ceresmon, Bacchusmon, Dianamon, Apollomon, Mervamon, Merukimon, Vulcanusmon, Marsmon...and myself." He spoke, turning his back to the group. With a single claw, he seemed to grasp the very dimension of the air, ripping it open to create a small rift. This rift seemed to have sight over Triton City, though a few years in the past. It showed images of citizens starving on the streets, Neptunemon directly harming his own citizens, and sea monsters frequently attacking the coast. "We defeated the Seven, thinking it would be for the best of the Digital World. However..." The screen cut to a helpless Geckomon family being devoured by a Seadramon, "My allies have grown lazy and full of themselves - caring only about their positions in power, caring only about the wealth they gained from conquest." He wasn't entirely sure if he personally agreed with the Seven, but his sister did, so they must be a better solution to this. "Neptunemon only cared about his parties, he ignored his people's suffering. He built a wall - but did not attempt to stop the monsters plaguing the coast of his city." He let out a grim sigh, closing the portal and turning back to the members of the Ringbound. "You all have given excellent answers - even those who remained in silence or did not speak directly to me. I see vast potential in all of your cores." He spread his arms out, attempting to highlight his kingdom, "I wish for the whole Digital World to be akin to my Dark Area. Behold its beauty - Digimon find safety in my city, and are allowed to roam free as they wish outside of it. They are bound by no laws - fear and respect keeps them all well in order." He lowered his hands, directing his attention fully at CLAIRE LYON . "I will remove your Marks." He pulled forth a bottle of a deep purple wine, holding it delicately with his claw, "You can then leave here now, and go about your lives as if nothing ever happened." He would hold out the bottle to Claire, insisting that she take it, "Or you can align with me and begin the fight for a new age." | © seadra of gs |

Angeli gulped slightly as she felt like she was the odd one in the room here. The girl with the Gazimon, the man with the Otamamon... even the leader of this "Ringbound" group, they were all warriors compared to her. Even the red-haired cyclops was considerably more bold than her. Angeli took a deep breath. She was not to be frightened, she was here to make use of her life, she refused to run.
When Plutomon showed them all just how corrupt the previous king of Triton City was, Angeli's face contorted at the horrible things that were shown to them. "What disgusting imagery." The Chromiamon would mumble to herself, she visibly disturbed by the scene, and why would she not be? It was a grim reminder that in this world, there was senseless slaughter and misery, a blemish on the perfect world she envisioned. Neptunemon is... no, was a king, this due to his past accomplishments. This was one of the Olympus XII... someone who once aided in saving this world, and this was what he was reduced to? A tyrant, much like many a human in the history of the human world? The Rookie level shook her head, almost not able to believe in this grim outlook.
As Plutomon explained himself, Angeli with respect to the powerful Digimon remained silent. Might makes right. A simple idealogy, but one that was nonetheless effective. However, she knew deep down that this world... no, both worlds needed order as it's fundamental core. What the so-called heroes of the past have enacted is a shrew, cobbled-together mimicry of peace. Such a thought broke her heart. It went against everything she dreamed of... A world where untarnished beauty and purity stand above all, where needless death and melancholy cease to exist.
Even if it meant she would not belong in such a perfect world, the young Digimon was ready to become a devil if it meant she would come one bit closer to her own goals.
In the end though, what Plutomon spoke of was not something she was completely all for, but as a individual who was still young.. still weak, she needed to climb her way into power. "And may that new age be long and prosperous." Angeli would quietly say, she bowing down to the ruler of the Dark Area. Seems that this day had became MUCH more interesting... after all, she had only initially planned to join the Ringbound. Dealing with Plutomon himself was something that was going to make this all the more interesting.

The white hair could only laugh at Andrea's little 'snap', who was she to give him an order? She was little more than a sheep in this 'group' just like him, just like the others, and Claire her highness was the sheepherder. That was the reality of what the team appeared to be so far. Though as of late it seems the sheepherder is about to join the herd. "Andrea, I don't know if you noticed, but the boss is about to sign up for war, it'd be best if you open 'yer' mouth before you find yourself in a war zone. I hope you're more than a sheep."
Turning it attention to Astoria, it was great to see her again, though she was little more than another one of his fellow sheep, pretending that his meeting was 'necessary,' it only mattered to Claire and Mcdoormat or whatever his name was. She'd be wise to perk up, at the word war, or else more than her pride would be lost when the day comes.
At this point it seemed indefinite Claire would join, she was that sort of person, after all, at least from what Leyton knew, she was the sheepherder, the leader, and allegedly the strongest of them all; her word was law, but would she bend to someone higher than herself? "Plutomon, that's a very admirable goal, for you and the marked ones." he spread an arm pointing at each of the unmarked or 'unspecial' remaining members of Ringbound "But what's in it for everyone else? Your city is neat and all but the odds of dying are worth more than a little temporary tranquility."
Crossing his arms a grin soon found his expression, "I suppose it doesn't matter what any of us get, aside from Claire and Matt," he reached into his pocket and retrieved a toothpick, placing it in the corner of his mouth "Most of us will blindly follow you anyway, saying praise and such." he laughed at the realization his teammates probably were more than willing to play drones so a few high Digimon can have a glorified pissing contest.
Not waiting for rebuttal he took a seat on a bench not too far from the one he had slept on, thus giving him a good look at Plutomon and Claire. "Well Claire, it's your team after all and I'm just one fo your pawns. But all I ask is you consider what EVERYONE gets out of this."

There was something off about the stature, words, and overall actions of this Necromantic Guardian. Though the ideology of Hades being akin to the Abrahamic Lucifer was known, Hades himself was thought to be passive and somewhat accepting of his inheritance.
That little fact made the difference between this entity's inheritance and his actions. Hades would never wish to submerge the world in a peaceful darkness, nor would he possibly think of overthrowing those who helped to keep the balance between the elements.
There was no question that this God was a fake, or simply being misdirected. In mythology, he, Poseidon, and Zeus were brothers. These three defeated their fathers and established themselves into written and oral history.
If this was true, then the Seven were...
These thoughts left to be discovered, Matthew's ears had been listening to the confession, and his eyes were then focused on the rift. His lips cracked open just a hair, and his eyes glazed over with a thick coating of nostalgia. What he saw was natural - Predators into Prey and a food chain being established.
The twelve additional Gods Plutomon mentioned were somewhat easy to distinguish. Neptune was known as Poseidon, and had governed the oceans and often caused earthquakes. Little was known about the digital manifestation of Poseidon and, with all the books in the libraries above holding information regarding the mythic and epic version, there would be time to do research.
But no, that time would be coming from much farther away.
The Gekomon and its family being devoured was not because of Neptunemon's lazy reign, or so Matthew thought. That serpent was merely hungry, and that family was the closest to it. This would have been the natural order of things in the world above, where these monsters could not speak or establish cities and functioning colonies.
They would be mindless animals - that recording, regardless of how dated it was, had no effect on Matthew.
A phial was offered to Claire, accompanied by a double-edged and gutless attempt at salvation. Matthew took a deep breath and looked at his hands, his ears half-heartedly listening as two replied. Leyton seems to understand, but he's missing something crucial. He's not stupid, but does he not feel the air?
He opened and closed his hand, staring at the shapeless scar. "The darkness covers up what we cannot comprehend, but be mesmerized by. Some of us fear that, should we see it, that beauty will be destroyed within the crack of a beam of light. That beauty is a lie.
The light is there to shelter us from the ugly truth that dwells in our shadows.
Hades - Plutomon... Your goal is insane, but perfectly understandable. If I were to hand you my resume, you would see that I am a Carpenter and a Fisherman. This is not entirely true. I'm just as horrible as your brother but, I too, yearn for a world without strife. Fear is a powerful tool that gives birth to Respect from its seeds.
Your Respect is not natural, however - " Margot began to shake her head, clawing at Matthew's leg. Looking down, he gestured his obvious concern. "Stop... That's enough." They both sighed.
Turning his back to the God, simply to hinder any further aggravation, his eyes sought Claire. "However... I will follow this woman, and Margot, to the ends of both Earths."

► oh it eats us alive Yes there's a scream inside That we all try to hide We hold on so tight But I don't wanna die |
It was Claire's turn to be quiet as the others began to speak- matthew mcdermott was next after her, explaining his intentions of fighting Skullgreymon. He'd had no idea what he was doing it seemed, and hadn't even figured out a way back home. Still, he'd survived, with Margot being the real fighter out of the two this time. Claire had no opinion on this, and still frankly wasn't sure what to expect out of the man in the future- his reactions so far had been... quite varied.
The woman's eyes passed over Leyton Thomson entirely for now, ignoring his antics- he seemed almost manic, in the way his moods seemed to change on a dime, unable to decide whether he was scared or defiant or indifferent. ANDREA B. BELMONT however made her disgust with him quite well known- in Claire's opinion, she was wasting her breath, however. Even the rookie Digimon, Angeli seemed to be irritated.
Ah, but teens were just children, really. Their little squabbles and immaturity didn't concern her, and instead she re-focused Astoria Zenker after Matthew, much more interested in the green-eyed girl's story.
Though her words started sympathetic, the last little bit made Claire raise an eyebrow. But- the king? Assimilated? Sometimes it could be hard to surprise the blonde woman, but that sure did it, her eyes widening just slightly- It wasn't a distraught sort of surprise though, more like a shock. As far-fetched as defeating the Neptunemon seemed, they had two confirmations here, and besides that, it sounded too crazy to be a lie.
Plutomon began to speak again, and Claire found herself rapt with attention, perpetually unruffled demeanor broken somewhat with the news. More details came forward- the Plutomon was the one who had sent the attack to Triton City, that he and his allies had defeated the Seven, even showing them the battles and 'horrors' that took place. Claire herself did not have an emotional reaction to these images, too used to how this world worked- but Walter swallowed, shutting his eyes tightly and turning his head toward Angeli as the Geckomon was swallowed, shuddering.
His next words were something that excited her- not so much because of what would happen to the rest of the world, but because the thought of joining in a real conquest, allying with the leader of the dark area was... thrilling. Besides, she personally spent a good majority of her time in the Dark Area, particularly in Necropolis, and she could confirm that he was not lying. This kingdom only intimidated the faint of heart, and the prejudiced- looking past its reputation, Claire could see that this place truly was beautiful.
"And may that new age be long and prosperous."
It was Angeli who spoke Claire's thoughts for her and, with a small, glinting smile, she reached for the bottle-
And paused just before taking it, when the white-haired boy spoke up. Blue eyes finally gave him her full focus as he spoke out his thoughts, her expression neutral. So, it seemed that he was against joining in the war? At least, not without some sort of personal reward. She blinked at him, head tilting slightly and considering this- he was surprisingly well spoken at this time.
Before she replied to him, Matthew spoke, staring at his hand momentarily- the one he'd wounded himself, if she remembered correctly. His next words were poetic, beautifully spoken- something she paid close mind to, eyes entirely on the dark-haired man now. Though her gaze was cool, the woman listened with gripped admiration, meeting his eyes at the last words which... startled her, her heart seeming to thump harder, causing the woman to pause momentarily in silence, slightly perplexed and intrigued.
Was he a fool? No- perhaps mad, but not a fool. But there was much more to Mr. Matthew than she'd previously assumed, standing there on that beach and watching the blood drip from his hand.
Gaze held for a moment longer- Walter shook his head in a small, unnatural jerk- before Claire returned her attention to the other young man's previous words.
She was not going to bark at Leyton, nor hold it against him. "While I understand what you're saying, Mr. Leyton, it appears you have some misconceptions about this group," she replied softly. Still, while she was perfectly happy to let the others follow her if they so chose, the main points of his arguments did deserve an answer."I speak not just to you, but to everyone when I say this:"
Head was turned to each member of the group present, including Digimon- making eye contact should they choose to meet her gaze. "The Ringbound is intended to be a network of support and allies, not a strict hierarchy. You do not have to follow me if should not suit you." A pause, in which she took the bottle of wine, calmly. "But, should you choose to, we will go into this together, assisting Plutomon and his allies in creating a new Digital World. If not, then you may leave now, without consequence- but get in our way in any battle that pertains to this, and we will be enemies... for that moment."
"Claire speech." "Walter speech."

[attr="class","smdbody"]andrea was, at the moment, struggling not to make a fool of herself before her peers. nor did she seek to draw claire's ire by harming Leyton Thomson for daring to mock her pattern of speech. it was obvious she was visibly struggling to reign in her temper, her blue eye revealing her outrage and her form quivering lightly. she instead bit her lip with a low grumble, her mouth presented as a thin line. the young woman did not trust herself to open her mouth and speak, fearing that her voice would raise in volume at an alarming rate and she would truly interrupted the meeting's flow. matthew mcdermott 's words had managed to snap her out of her temperamental state. he had such a refined and honest way of speaking and she couldn't help but cling onto each and every word as he continued. he knew where his loyalties lay and he openly stated his desire to follow. "now that's what ah call devotion," she complimented. her tone revealed that she found both him and his choice of words appealing, a sly smile upon her face as she stepped closer to the group as a whole. there was the slightest tremor in her voice, revealing that there were still remnants of that potent rage that had struck her so suddenly. "and it's somethin' ah can follow," she continued. "claire's givin' us the option ta stick with her and that's exactly what ah'm gonna do." she shot a glance at their leader, something deep within desiring to acquire her approval. the redhead nudged aside the short burst of disappointment felt when it didn't appear as though CLAIRE LYON would pay her any mind. it was only when the woman peered at each and everyone of them and spoke those fancy words of hers did andrea feel a warmth that bubbled within her very chest. it was an infectious feeling that left her feeling... happy. like when butterflies were just bouncing around within the confines of her belly and they refused to stop. "ah'll follow," she said. [attr="class","smdtags"] ■ ■ | [attr="class","smdlyrics"] strike [attr="class","mdlyric"]me down [attr="class","giveitlyric"]give it everything you've got |

[attr="class","horns"] Something sort of a clash of opinion came following with Leyton's voicing out what he thought. Consider what everybody could get out of this? That was quite thoughtful of him but Astoria understood his point. It was impractical and unwise to assist in a war that only death would await; just like the battle against skullgreymon, they received a rather troublesome reward. She couldn't care less about this fight for the new age the demon-man was talking about. For all she cared, the digital world could break and burn, they could rebuild it in any form they wanted... But, Plutomon and his friends, along with Ringbound, could give her benefits and information essential to a lot of things. She smirked at her own thoughts, bowing slightly to hide her little excitement.
Passing her ears were the voices of the others, each giving out their answers... all seemed willing to follow CLAIRE LYON , despite the free-will she had given. Astoria, however, had already decided during the events at the Triton City. If the case here was following an individual then it wouldn't be Claire, not Plutomon but Crow. It didn't matter that much, did it? Those three's goal aligned perfectly. Though, she, herself, needed someone to follow her. They didn't necessarily have to be within the group but she had someone perfect in mind and that was where her eyes lingered towards Leyton Thomson . Perfect.
"Zweifle nicht," she spoke after the eyepatched girl, giving their leader a small nod and a smile "Have no doubts about me and my Nox," The gazimon flashed the woman and her digimon his trademark grin, showing sharp teeth. What ahead didn't seem pretty but it would definitely be fun. sweet religion Help me, satan! help me, satan! i've been here so long for the love of god
+ condition: perfect! + passive lich physiology: immune to poisons, bleeds, and gores. 75% reduced damage from darkness. reslient, can resemble. takes triples damage from holy elemental sources. + passive tartarus core: +50% elemental resistance and +25% magical power per undead. + attack none | Yes, long and prosperous may it be. Some were quick to follow, others brought forth questions - questions that any young human soul would want answers to. While he could not sympathize with these ignorant feelings, he could at least understand them. They were weaker in spirit than he, and required reassurance. They were akin to freshly hatched Digitama, if anything. "Very well. What I ask of you is not natural, no." The undead replied to the owner of the Otamamon in a relaxed tone, indicating that he was not angered by any of the events taking place before him. They were young, after all, and were entitled to their own opinions. Oppressing that, telling one how to think - it was not his way, even if some of his allies thought kindly to it. He handed off the wine to Claire - giving her a nod - he would address her later. "However, when the forces of balance have already been shifted, one must adjust." He turned his back to the group, his cape sweeping in the wind, causing the flowers littering the garden to shift with it. He turned back around, having pulled an old book from somewhere. It was tattered, ancient, but yet had some sort of hi-tech lighting system in the cover. A digital relic. "Ah...hem." The lich cleared his skeletal throat, opening the book and placing an open palm over it. It was obvious he was preparing to cast some sort of spell - his stance being strikingly similar to what one would expect from a RPG video game. "Nashtunggli nnnchtenff nahafh'drn nghai naflya naflTsathoggua ya gof'nn vulgtm mg, hai 'ai mg 'fhalma lw'nafh grah'n goka throd naAzathoth fhtagnyar uln, n'gha kadishtu grah'n ooboshu hai geb s'uhn ngphlegeth."The book would glow as he spoke the seemingly unintelligible words, and soon so would the bodies of every human and Digimon within the area. It was a deep crimson aura, one that would warm their bodies in a way unlike the marking did. They would feel protection and strength from this spell, as it were a blessing, not a curse. He nonchalantly closed the book, indicating a somewhat anticlimactic close to the ritual. "Now that we are in alliance - I have bestowed a blessing upon the each of you. This will give you the power to call upon me for help at any point in time, simply by thinking it." He looked over the group, knowing that many were still wary about allying with him at all. "It should also help you ward off ghosts, and will prevent your mind from being read and your body from being possessed." his empty eyes fell on Leyton, the boy who seemed to be the most out of place here. "This spell grants you absolute ownership of your own body."
ITEM GET! PLUTOMON'S BLESSING: This character has been blessed by Plutomon. Simply by thinking it, they are able to contact him through mental link in their time of need. Additionally, they cannot be possessed by mind control or other means, having complete control over their own mind and body. Bonded equipment, cannot be traded, but can be purified by most conventional means. "Now, I have much business to attend to. I thank you for your and your organization's service, Miss Lyon." Plutomon would finally turn away, this time for good, becoming darker and darker yet with each step away, until finally, he became one with the darkness around him. [ exit ] | © seadra of gs |

► oh it eats us alive Yes there's a scream inside That we all try to hide We hold on so tight But I don't wanna die | -
So that was that.
Regardless of if Leyton Thomson had heeded her words, she had said her piece and didn't care to go on about it any more. Each member in turn had given their word one way or another, with ANDREA B. BELMONT next being especially enthusiastic, almost seeming thrilled to stand by Claire. Slightly eyebrow raising, if the blonde was to be honest, but it wasn't as if she had any complaints about it. Astoria Zenker as well answered, seemingly agreeing but in a somewhat... vague way.
Head turned back to Plutomon, who after some words of balance, pulled out a book, clearly old and somewhat damaged. And as his spell completed, Claire felt a very welcome warmth throughout her body- Walter as well, though it did little to soothe the rabbit's nerves.
His heart still raced with fear and dread, and he was doing his best not to grab Claire's arm. All of this dark magic, aligning with Plutomon during times of war- he couldn't help but feel this wasn't going to end well, not for any of them. It was to Walter's dismay that not a one of them declined the offer, not even Leyton, who had spoken up, or Angeli , who he had hoped would be sensible. Perhaps though, it was wishful thinking that Claire would consider doing anything other that what would cause the most chaos in their lives. She would, as usual, do as she pleased, and it was unfortunate duty to follow the one he loved to the ends of the Earth, despite the insanity of it all.
Plutomon's closing words- an explanation of his spell, and a thanks- marked the end of their meeting. What had intended to be a meet and greet along with speculation of sorts about the days events ended up something much more. The woman found herself excited and not at all afraid for what lay ahead- whatever this ended up being, she would live it to the fullest. "A thanks to you as well, for the the assistance and blessing. I bid you good night, Plutomon."
And with that, the dark king left the area, into the darkness.
After just a few seconds of silence, Claire pulled the wine under her coat, which she then pulled over herself more with her other hand- she was not going to use the drink on herself just yet. Perhaps another use for it could be found later down the line. As for her group, she offered the Ringbound members a small smile.
At some point, perhaps an individual talk with each was in order, but for now, they were done for the day. "Well then, I suppose that closes the meeting. Thank you all for coming." Eyes lingered on matthew mcdermott with curiosity, though her words were spoken to the group. "I'll be taking my leave now- but if any of you wish to speak further, do not hesitate to contact me." They were allies now, and should they wish to not make communications public, were free to message her personally rather than on the Ringbound network.
After a single nod to bid the group farewell, Claire began to walk away into Necropolis.
