MATTHEW A. MCDERMOTT | TAMER |
PERSONALITY You will hear me say this again, but I never liked describing myself. Just recently, I learned of a phrase that struck something inside me. "In life, there are two tragedies. One is to lose your heart's desire. The other is to gain it." I don't remember the author, but that phrase is a good thorn to be sticking in one's side. As a child, I always dreamed of being at sea. I dreamed of sailing the world and enjoying the fruits of the lands which I laid anchor on. I was ambitious, and still am. The only thing that's changed is my approach. I was a crybaby, always getting worked up and teary-eyed. Most of my lessons were taught in a room adjacent to the Principal's Office. I was, quite literally, a kid. Then I learned ignorance. I learned how to be unaware of threats and never to take them at face-value. I learned how to stop crying over silly things. I always think before I act, but sometimes I think too far into it. Aries born children are typically head-on and that will never change. I strive to make the best of my work, and I damn proud when the outcome puts a smile on my face. My calloused fingers are worth the pain. Then there's the bad part of me. I work too hard. If I clock in for an 8 hour shift, I'll work a few extra hours. It's not for the money or the attention; I just want things to be as neat as they can the next day. I hardly get any sleep with all the thoughts in my head. If you want me to stop, just ask if I want to go fishing. That'll shut them up. I do have a job, and that has taught me a lot of things. I own a little crafting boutique at home. My specialty is making wooden toys for kids. Yes, we're in an era of video games and plastic, but there's a nostalgic factor in working with wood. Not only that, but the eyes lighting up on a child's face when they see what can come from a tree is quite refreshing.
SKILLS | FLAWS | ● fisherman - matthew has always loved the water. being born in a state where water is dominant didn't actually help. he first picked up a rod when he was starting middle school. he's not an expert, but he is working towards that on top of his current jobs.
● craftsman - matthew gained interest when it showed up as an after school program. he opened up shop right after graduation. working with wood is dangerous and risky, but there's something about watching the wood transform, and the smell of it being burned with images, that's rather intoxicating.
● honest - matthew will tell you exactly how he's feeling or what he's thinking. honesty is a big trait in both work and outside of it. he will never lie unless he has no choice, but...
● analytical - even if he's under pressure, matthew is always looking and observing anything he finds. debates are often where he puts his mind to work, but he does apply this elsewhere
● determined - a working class man will strive to get the job done, no matter what. | ● lung damage - see biography
● hates flaws - being a craftsman is a great hobby! unfortunately, matthew often discards failed projects in an attempt to make things perfect from scratch.
● blunt - to contrast his honesty, telling someone exactly what's on his mind can raise problems. he will not skimp over any details.
● overconfident - thinking too much is a common defect in people, and matthew is no exception. if he's into something, he may feel he has the edge a bit too early.
● criminal at heart - again, a working class man will strive to get the job done, no matter what. |
APPEARANCE As a kid, I never like describing myself. At least, this version of me. I was scrawny and pathetic. I couldn't hold a fishing rod for five minutes without my arm losing energy. Tantamount to a cliche, I know, but it's true. Everything changes for a person at a certain point in their time. My crafting classes marked that period. I look younger than I actually am. My skin does not tan, but I have gotten compliments about my tone. European skin burns, which is funny because I'm almost always near water and heat. What lies underneath my clothes is nothing to gawk at. I've a few abs on my stomach, and my legs are a few sticks short of being thin. I do work out, but not enough. My hair is combed on the top, sides, and back of my head, but I let it spike out in all directions towards the bottom. On my face is nothing special. I've seen characters with one eye, one ear, and scars of all kinds, but my damage is internal. In terms of clothing, relaxation and comfort are a definite. I do wear suits to formal gatherings, but give me a button up for casual wear and I'll stick to a t-shirt. I don't like sweatpants that much, nor do I care for jeans. A nice pair of khakis will do just fine for me. If you like colors, turn around. I love earthy tones more than anything when it comes to clothing. As for footwear, I like boots. I own a pair of steel-toed and they get used more than anything else.
INVENTORY ○ FISHING ROD + TACKLE BOX - A standard for any fisherman, Matthew's fishing rod is a spin caster type. The spinning reel is colored maroon while the rod itself is pure black. The tackle box is three-tiered and colored a deep purple. ○ BACKPACK - A simple backpack for a traveler. Two zipper sections for clothing and large items make up the stomach, while a few side pouches and a netted pocket on the right outfit the rest. There is a top handle strap, though it's never used. Matthew usually carries it over his left shoulder. It is colored black and purple. ○ MASK + GRADUATION RING - Matthew's mask is a curious item. He first crafted it a few years after taking on woodworking and has remained with him since. It is usually tucked away inside his jacket, and is rarely worn. A small red line makes the mouth, while a purple inverted lighting bolt travels from the top and down across the right eye. Matthew's graduation ring is always found on his left middle finger. Made of gold, it is embedded with the March Birthstone, of which conceals a teardrop emblem in the center. ○ D3 Digivice - There is nothing special about this item. It is colored a blueish-purple. HAS A HUMAN DECONSTRUCTER -- CAN ACHIEVE BIOMERGE.○ Platinum Ankh - Used at start of thread, gives double post rewards. Cannot be used at same time as Golden Scarab. Cannot Stack. Single use. ○ THE MARK - The Mark is a branding on one's body on their skin. This mark cannot be removed or deactivated at any time, nor can it be traded. There are only a few ways to purify this Mark, and traditional means will not work. The Mark selects somebody's soul for the taking, and will not stop until it has been claimed. This Mark gives one a 50% power bonus when using Dark Digivolution - but also haunts the marked with phantoms of all those they have slain in the past.
Every thread the user has with this item has a chance of being attacked by phantoms of their past, which will take physical form and hunt the marked until defeated.
BIOGRAPHY I see no point in keeping a journal, as I see no point in holding up a facade. I can sit here, in this world, and write a book about my life, and the characters I've created. Would anyone buy it, knowing that the subject is too similar to myself? No. I shall tell you the truth. My first character is a little boy, born near the water and destined to be whisked away by it. The date is March 23rd, 2012. The skies are dark, and a storm can be heard to the east. A group of people are aboard a ship, and one of them is giving birth at the worst possible time. She screams while on the cabin's bed as the boat rocks. Minutes pass and this boy is born. The boat heads for the mainland and the group rush to a hospital in Queen Anne's County. Matthew Aaron McDermott was born at 2:15 AM. We fast forward to the summer of 2027. It is April 15th, 3:47 PM, and Matthew is being scolded by his father for having gotten into another fight. The evidence is a black eye and bloody knuckle. Matthew states the other kid tried to take his seat on the bus. As punishment, Matthew's father takes the boy out to the ocean with two rods and a small box of food. This is where I'd tell you that holding the rod in his hands put him at ease, and that is true. What I haven't told you is what led to Matthew's father deciding on this punishment. We turn back the clock to the start of my middle school days. I am anxious and afraid of the people around me. I'm shy as a rabbit and everyone notices after a few seconds. They all start laughing at me and I should ignore it. Heh. My first day at school and I'm in the Nurse's Office crying with a shaking fist and bloodied lip. Two kids are in the Principal's Office and they're grinning. I'm soon back at home and my father decides to take me out fishing. "I was like you," he said. "I was shy and nervous, but I just shrugged it off. I took those words into one ear and sent them right out the other. And that's all they are- words. It's nothing to cry over if you know that." I never wanted to leave that boat. I just felt calm around water and victorious after snagging a bite. These feelings stopped after the end of middle school. Everything positive about me stopped after middle school. To be honest, I don't even remember my father. The man I described was the man of whom adopted me - his brother. I was only nine or ten years old, I think, and my parents were depositing a check at the local bank. There were two people behind the counters and both were dealing with others. The doors burst open and a group of men and women in wooden masks start screaming. My father jumps one of the women, but is shot in the chest. I wasn't even with them; I was in the car looking down at my iPod. I ran in after seeing an ambulance and its crew arrive. The memory ends there, but picks up where I said earlier. It's the start of High School. My summer vacation was spent on a fishing boat, and I've signed up for an after-school crafting program. However, my personality went from meek and afraid to unyielding and cold. Any friends I had stopped keeping in touch with me. My classes were bland and boring, but that was alright. After school, I stayed for a few hours working on small projects in the program. I sometimes had enough time waiting for the instructor, so I did my homework. Geography was a great class, and history too. Math and science... not so much. My life was basic until I decided to open up a small shop after graduating. I stopped living with my uncle after my mother died. I was already working part-time as a stocker and had enough money to rent an apartment. I can't remember how old I was, but... I remember getting a visit from my Uncle right after settling in. It was in December and the neighbors had helped me unpack and treated me to dinner at a restaurant called Dock's. We were well into our meal when my Uncle came by and asked if I could talk to him. I was taken aback by his sudden appearance, but he said it was urgent. I excused myself and we started walking to his car- his hands were shaking and he was sweating. Then there was smoke and the next thing I knew I was back at my apartment, on the couch, coughing too hard, and with a strange mask in my hand. On the inside was a note. "My dearest Matthew, I am terribly sorry. I made a big mistake a long time ago and your father had to suffer. My wife and I were running low on payments, and the people we worked for threatened to kill us if we didn't deliver. We don't know why, but we were too scared to ask.
We were told to rob a bank along the 301 Highway. We never expected someone to fight back. My wife shot your father. I'm probably dead by now, but you need to know who I am." And then I realized the note was written on the back of a picture. I turned this over and saw my Uncle. Up until today, I've worked hard to make a living. My store is quite popular with the older folks, but there's nothing wrong with that. My mind still hurts, but my lungs are lucky enough to still be functioning. I have a lot of questions still, but the people I want to ask are already dead. I feel that there's something missing though... Well, obviously there is, but... It's hard to describe.

APPEARANCE There is nothing peculiar about Margot's appearance. She does, however, have a small scar on her underbelly.
PERSONALITY Margot is known among her friends as Mother Margot and is more than proud to live up to the name. She is caring, understanding, patient and stern much like any mother could be and should be. Many consider this a weakness however, as she is willing to listen and attempt to console anyone she thinks needs a hug. Speaking of, she loves giving hugs, despite being slightly handicapped. She enjoys singing and making tea, for some reason...
BACKGROUND Margot actually met Matthew in a dream. She is not a psychic, nor can she invade the dreams of others. In this event, Matthew's life was totally different. The era in which he was living in was further in the past. There was a string of disappearances involving young teenagers, and a friend of Matthew's had been kidnapped. Matthew was on his way from work and was crossing the bridge to get home. A large oil tanker collided with Matthew's truck and he rolled off the bridge and into the water. This is where Margot showed up, thinking she was enjoying a nice swim in a dream ocean. This dream version of Matthew had escaped the truck, but was drowning, and she was more than willing to help him to shore. The dream ended as the breached the surface. The odd thing about this dream was Margot herself. She was not an Otamamon and, at this point, is still waiting to meet Matthew.

DESCRIPTION This cute little discharge of snot actually has a sweet smell to it. Her pacifier is colored pink.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ SLIMY SKIN - Bubbmon's lack of hardened skin allows it to slip through small cracks. The only drawback is that Bubbmon can't pass through entrances smaller than it's pacifier. This ability has no combat application in battle and is generally used for escape. However, attacks from Fresh Digimon may bounce off Bubbmon roughly 25% of the time.
ATTACKS ○ STICKY BUBBLES - Sticky Bubbles are Bubbmon's only form of offense. In exchange for doing any damage, Sticky Bubbles instead immobilizes the opponent temporarily, allowing Bubbmon to escape. This attack does take time to recharge if immobilization is successful. This happens roughly 50% of the time.
| FAMILY UNKNOWN

TYPE SLIME
|
DESCRIPTION There is a small scar on the front of Mochimon's stomach. How it was obtained is unknown.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ RUBBER SKIN - Upon becoming an In-Training Digimon, the former ability of evasion has been replaced with elasticity. Mochimon is able to mitigate damage from certain attacks by hardening, stretching or even inflating its own body. This ability can't be used in succession, as using this even once can drain Mochimon's stamina. Damage taken is decreased by 5-10% depending on the stage of the opponent Digimon. Rubber Skin cannot work against Rookie Digimon or higher. If used more than once, Mochimon suffers one turn of inaction in order to recover.
ATTACKS ○ ELASTIC BUBBLES - Elastic Bubbles are a step up from Sticky Bubbles, as these require some amount of physical force to be destroyed, further increasing the chance of escape. If infused with vibrations, they can explode upon being struck or placed as mines on the battlefield. This attack has no boost if infused with vibrations or treated as mines, and does regular damage.

DESCRIPTION There is nothing peculiar about this Otamamon's appearance except that she has a small scar on her underbelly.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ SLIPPERY SKIN - This is an awkward trait, as it is an improved form of Bubbmon's Slimy Skin. Being based on a tadpole, Margot's Otamamon form has the ability to slip out of an enemy grip or "reject" some physical contact. Focused and precise attacks are more likely to directly harm Otamamon, and poorly aimed strikes are less likely. On land or in water, Margot has a 25% chance of avoiding or rejecting physical contact completely. The chance can either increase or decrease by 5-10% depending on the opponent's stage or passive abilities.
ATTACKS ○ WATER JET - Water Jet is Otamamon's primary means of directly attacking an opponent from a distance. A chamber of water inside Otamamon is opened, and she is able to strike the opponent. It is akin to a fire hydrant releasing water, and her accuracy depends on how focused she is. This attack has a cool-down period of one post and has a 15% accuracy boost in water. ○ BODY BLOW - Body Blow is Otamamon's close combat method attacking. A simple tackle is made against the opponent. This attack is more likely to succeed in water. This attack has a 15% accuracy boost in water. ○ LULLABY BUBBLE - Lullaby Bubble does what it says. By singing into a bubble, Otamamon can attempt to make the opponent fall asleep. It is slow moving, and is often best used after a Body Blow. Sleep can occur 40% of the time upon contact, and has no accuracy boost in water. It does, however, require a cool-down period of three posts. ○ SHADOWY GAZE - Assimilated from Skullknightmon. The user empowers their eyes with a dark energy, causing all those who look into them to suffer a one post stun. If the target is data type, they will also become FEARED, dropping their attacking power by 10% for three posts. Shadowy Gaze has a cooldown of two posts.

DESCRIPTION The tips of Depthmon's fingers are painted rose, and her visor is tinted in the same color.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ WATER BALLET - Depthmon's improved ability to swim has increased success rates within water, as well as accuracy boosts to all her attacks, except one. On land, these abilities are decreased. Attacks will work 50% of the time and evasion is also cut in half. There is no cool-down for this ability due to the use of specific terrain. Depthmon cannot generate her own water if none is present. Water Terrain and Rainy Weather offer minor boosts of at least 15%.
ATTACKS ○ MARINE KNIVES - By gathering moisture and wrapping it around her clawed fingers, Depthmon can perform a highly accurate ranged attack. These knives can scatter in an arc formation, or follow one after the other upon being released and are generally hard to avoid, especially in her preferred territory. Depthmon can generate up to three knives. This attack has a cool-down period of one post per knife and a 75% accuracy boost in water. ○ MARINE CLAWS - If ranged combat is impossible, Depthmon can use Marine Knives for close combat by keeping them wrapped around her claws. This attack has a cool-down period of one post and keeps a flat 50% accuracy. ○ BUBBLE BOMBER - Unlike Lullaby Bubble, Depthmon infuses generated bubbles with pressurized water, allowing them to explode and create a cloud of smaller bubbles to disorient the opponent. This attack has a cool-down period of one post and deals standard damage in water or on land. ○ AQUA JET - Essentially an upgraded version of a Body Blow, Aqua Jet is performed by Depthmon covering herself in water and ramming the opponent head-on. This can only be used if water is present, or in water itself. This attack has no cool-down.

DESCRIPTION Margot's evolution to Depthmon has corrupted, and resulted in this unique form. Like Depthmon, Ranamon contains visual qualities and aspects of humans and merfolk, in addition to marine life. Her skin is sea green in color and is supported with a wet suit. The arm guards and helmet resemble tadpoles or rain drops.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ RAIN DANCER - Unlike Depthmon, Ranamon is more suited for combat on land than in the water. While she still can use the aquatic terrain to her advantage, her ability is entirely dependent on above-ground rainy weather. A standard Ranamon is capable of summoning a rain cloud for aid in battle. With this specific form, that ability is exchanged for enhanced damage and evasion with natural rain clouds. A light drizzle has no effect; an average downpour provides a small boost in damage and accuracy; and a heavier rainstorm offers just a moderate increase in damage alone. Ranamon will often dance with her attacks in heavier rain. This is purely for throwing the enemy off and adding some aspect of sanity.
ATTACKS ○ IONIAN BLADES - By gathering moisture and wrapping it around her hands, Ranamon forms knives and approaches the enemy in hopes of cutting them. This attack has no cool down and a standard accuracy ratio of 50%. ○ IONIAN WHIPS - If close combat is impossible, Ranamon will focus the moisture around her wrists to form ropes. The size and thickness of these are dependent on the enemy, but are never bigger than Ranamon's arm. This attack has a cool-down period of one post and may strike most of the time. Ionian Blades must be used prior. ○ SCYLLA'S KISS - While one could consider this an upgraded version of Depthmon's Bubble Bomber, Ranamon's version concentrates on the temperature of the water as opposed to instilling a pressurized effect and bubble screen. While some bubbles are formed during the process, this attack capitalizes on inflicting burns in addition to dealing damage. In addition, she can condense the bombs into two spheres on one hand, allowing another chance of hindering the opponent. This attack has a cool-down period of two posts and has a high chance of burning the opponent for two posts. Accuracy is 50%. ○ SCYLLA'S LULLABY - Combined with innocent demeanor and cutesy appearance, Ranamon attempts to lull the opponent to sleep by singing a light tune. This attack deals no damage, as the enemy is put to sleep for a single turn. Afterwards, she cannot use this skill again for three rounds. Digimon of Armor Ultimate and above cannot be put to sleep, and may find her voice annoying.

DESCRIPTION Margot's Ultimate stage was borne of her love and gift of song. Sirenmon is similar in size to Margot's Otamamon form. However, with a new gift of flight, Margot can dance on land or sky just as well as she could underwater. Her musical tastes come from Matthew's own, though she is more comfortable with female leads within his library - Xandria, specifically. All of her Five Songs are inspired by Dianne van Giersbergen's work with that particular band.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ VIRTUOSO - Sirenmon's innate gift of song is truly a wonderful thing to be proud of. Her sweet voice has a range of eight octaves, from very high to very low. Sirenmon's song-based attacks receive an increase in damage and effectiveness by 20%. This ability cannot stack. She is also immune to song-based attacks from enemy Digimon, and those in the Virus Busters, Nightmare Soldiers, and Dark Area families will take extra damage. Human Spirit Wielders with song-based attacks can damage Sirenmon. Though three specific families might seem like much, damage dealt is only boosted so much. Sirenmon will inflict an additional 50% damage to anyone under the three families. ○ SILVER TONGUE - This passive is actually unknown to Margot. Her gift of song, coupled with the innate abilities of a Sirenmon, grants a CHARMED effect. If an enemy is struck by any of her songs, there is a guaranteed chance they will be charmed and suffer a single turn in which they are inclined to NOT attack. Only one target may be struck by the CHARMED effect, and the ability requires at least four posts to be used again. Margot is not immune to being charmed herself, however. Plugging up the ears is relatively useless, unless the Digimon in question is deaf or is wearing a helmet. Anything above the Ultimate Level, Bio-Merge included, are unaffected by her Silver Tongue. Those immune to mind-control, or those whom share a link to their partner and are granted full control over themselves, such as Spirit Wielders, are unaffected.
ATTACKS ○ The Song of Joy: Dreamkeeper - The Song of Joy is considered to be Margot's opening act. The aim of the song is to improve physical and elemental defenses of her comrades via boosting morale, while also dealing minor damage by activating a sense of nostalgia in the opponent. The song grants a moderate +50% buff if Margot is fighting alongside a group. If by herself, she will gain a portion of the effect- +30% defensive buff. Mega and Super Mega level Digimon are not affected. Three posts make up the cool down for groups, while one post is granted for fighting solo. The buffs themselves last two posts regardless of circumstance. ○ The Song of Pain: Stardust - The Song of Pain has the opposite effect of Dreamkeeper. By touching upon the pain of the journey the allies have taken, their physical and elemental attacks are given a boost equal to half of the next stage available, including Armor. If they have taken damage prior to the Song, an extra minor boost is granted for one round of attacks. Only two allies may be given the buff at any given time. Margot will be unable to attack during her next turn. This song cannot be used when fighting alone. Fresh, In-Training, and Mega Level Digimon are not affected. Cool down and buff duration are the same as Dreamkeeper's Group variation. ○ The Song of Love: The Undiscovered Land - The Song of Love reminds our allies that there is always something new on the lands beyond the horizon, waiting for us to have and to hold; to love forever. If there is someone to oppose us, they will be struck down in the name of that love. Allies will recover a quarter of the damage previously taken if Margot is with a group. If fighting alone, the same recovery applies, but Margot suffers a single turn of INACTION. This Song requires a cool down of two posts. ○ The Song of Hate: Betrayer - The Song of Hate is for those who would manipulate and trick in order to benefit themselves. Self-gratification through means of exploiting an innocent has dire consequences. Whomsoever manages to hear this Song will have any buffs removed, except for anything above Ultimate. Margot will have her defenses cut by half for two turns to ensure this. Attacks from a Rookie feel like an Armor Champion and so on. This Song requires a cool down of three posts as everyone is affected- Margot included. ○ The Song of Curses: Voyage Of The Fallen - There are some paths in life that we take without knowing. We may set sail for new lands and ultimately become consumed by a demonic greed. We lose ourselves on that voyage, cursed long before we touch ground. However, not all curses are the same. Margot's Song will inflict a variation of the CURSED status, in which she is liable to being struck by. The chance of this occurring is very high. This specific CURSED status negates the use of items on both Margot and the enemy Digimon, though the duration of this effect varies on circumstance. Should Margot be flying solo, Matthew will be unable to use any items for 3 turns. If fought with a group, every member present cannot use items for 2 turns. The cool down does not change for this skill, and lasts four posts. Cards, Card Readers, and Crafted Weapons from Vulcanusmon are not affected by the Curse. Additionally, Items that have no use in battle, such as Scarabs or Ankhs, are unaffected as well.

DESCRIPTION Margot's evolution to [redacted] has corrupted, and resulted in this unique form. Unlike Sirenmon, Calamaramon is more bestial in appearance. While her upper torso resembles a female merfolk, the lower half is an upturned squid with eight eyes and numerous barbed tentacles; two of which are longer than the rest. It is unknown if the human half is a separate entity from the squid.
PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ HYGROSCOPY - Calamaramon's physiology grants her the ability to regenerate damage taken via water. Recovery rates are always minor, provided she is struck by a water-based attack, or is submerged partially or completely, in water. The stored water can also be given a "stacked" effect, and provides defensive bonuses towards physical attacks only. No more than three stacks can be granted, and mitigates damage down to an Ultimate level. Mega and Super Mega stages ignore this passive. However, fire- or electric-based attacks can easily render this ability useless. ○ CNIDARIAN TOUCH - Calamaramon's tentacles are more than just for show. While they can tear and rip things to shreds, the two larger ones are imbued with special toxins that can poison, paralyze, or put the opponent to sleep. The nails on her fingers also carry this property. A simple cast of the die determines which toxin is to be chosen. The Numbers 0, 1, 2 and 3 do not grant a status effect. Deliverance is successful half the time and the POISON status effect lasts two posts, while paralysis and sleep last a single turn. Additionally, upon suffering a cool down of three posts, Calamaramon becomes immune to the selected toxin from levels lower than hers.
ATTACKS ○ AQUA OBSCURA - By opening an ink sac somewhere in her lower torso, Calamaramon spews a cloud of black ink or smoke towards her opponents. This can be used to mask another attack, but the primary function is to blind the enemy. Digimon have a higher chance of not being effected, while Humans and Spirit Wielders are more vulnerable due to the hybrid physiology they may possess. Digimon have a small chance of being blinded for a single turn, while Spirit Wielders are more susceptible. This attack deals no damage and has a cool-down of two posts, regardless of enemy. However, Mega Levels and above cannot be blinded. ○ MESSINA'S DANCE - This attack comes in two varieties. Calamaramon either performs a simple forward charge while spinning her body, or flails her main two tentacles around with a sweeping motion while remaining stationary. Messina's Dance is also primarily used to deliver a toxin from her Cnidarian Touch. With a cool down of a single post, and a high accuracy ratio, caution is advised. ○ MESSINA'S CARESS - Calamaramon's nails, as stated before, are able to deliver one of three toxins. Should her tentacles become immobilized, or if they enemy is reckless and attacking head-on, Calamaramon will fight with her hands. Similar in appearance to Ranamon's Ionian Blades, each individual finger on Calamaramon's hands become coated in water. While this can deliver a various toxin, the water can be heated and inflict a BURN status for two turns. This can only be done if no toxin is selected. This attack requires a two post cool down. ○ CHARYBDIS' WINK - While not similar to Scylla's Kiss, Charybdis' Wink makes heavy use of the eyes surrounding Calamaramon's lower torso. These eyes have a small opening via tube that leads to a special chamber near the base of the squid's head. This chamber holds water, and the eyes are used to expel it at high speed and pressure, much like a gun. Unfortunately, her eyes are not sniper rifles, and accuracy is low. The Wink has no cool down. ○ CHARYBDIS' HOWL - If Calamaramon is struggling to overcome her opponent, she will pour some of her strength into an ear-splitting scream. This will remove any one random buff from the opponent, bar Mega and higher, while dealing moderate damage. If the enemy has no buff, the Howl will be ineffective. Calamaramon must wait three turns to Howl again.
