SOMETHING IS HAPPENING... Neptunemon squirmed. There was no hope for him - no escape, at least not without help. The magical binds the attackers brought with them and caught him with by surprise were too much, even with his power. They were deep blue in color, reminding the seaside king of the ocean. But there was no water here - he was located in the tallest building of the city - which also happened to be the city hall and commander's office. Lord Neptunemon did all of his business here, and in hindsight, it was a poor move building a headquarters so far away from his source of power. The attackers mentioned the binds being a fairly weak artifact - something that only closed off the powers of a certain elemental type, and this one just so happened to be water-typed. He couldn't believe this. No cheap trinket would hold him back! "Release me, you foul cretins! After which, face my judgement! You will be fed to the sharks!" The Mega-Leveled Digimon's voice boomed, but it was still to no avail. It seemed Triton City was doomed - and he was completely at the mercy of this tiny fairy and her weak devices. It was humiliating. Surely, a member of his guard would come - somebody would come to help. However, the Triton Royal Guard was busy with the assassin-like Sealsdramon popping up around the city, silently assassinating the trained warriors one by one from behind. As for the army, Triton was never a military city, and Neptunemon never thought they would come under direct attack. He had gotten comfortable - a grave mistake. What little forces he had at his disposal were occupied with the defense of the city's walls against the rampaging Skullgreymon.
RULES FOR THIS EVENT FOLLOW. 01. Unlike previous events - this event is closed off to but only four members - of which that didn't participate in the SKULLGREYMON MINIBOSS due to both events happening at the same time, in-character. 02. This event follows the rules of a standard thread. A posting order is to be kept here. CROW will post first, then followed by the rest. The first round will determine the posting order for the rest of the thread. 03. This event will be a small conflict between the Conquering Party and the Defending Party. The conquering party consisting of CROW and Iscariot , and the defending party consisting of Neptunemon, one of the Olympus XII and what's left of his royal guard. Characters can join either side. 04. The fate of Triton City's ownership depends on the outcome of this event! 05. Regardless of outcome, all who participated will receive a 20 post reward. GOOD LUCK!

A tiny voice yelled at the Neptunemon. It was a voice full of instability, it almost sounded as if she were excited and overjoyed with all of this, but also intensely irritated at the same time. The owner of the voice quickly revealed herself to the "god-like" being, being a small fairy of only about three feet tall. It was a Tinkermon, a rotten little Nightmare Soldiers Digimon who were nefarious for their tricks. "You are soooo annoying! Actually, keep squirming, maybe it will make your guts squeeze out all over the floor soon!" The fairy aimed her small spear at the king of the city, a far more menacing weapon than it appeared.
It was all going according to plan. The Skullgreymon and Skullknight outside the city walls were gifts from a close friend, something for her to use to create a diversion. All of the strongest Tamers were occupied with that little dilemma, she was able to use her small team of assassins to take out most of the royal guard and detain Neptunemon. It was a flawless plan, so much so that the fairy had to take a minute to laugh maniacally about the situation - a great member of the Olympus XII - taken down so easily! What she would do with him now was easy to decide, she was going to kill him, of course, but she couldn't do that here.
No, it had to be a public statement.
The pixie fluttered over to a window, kicking it open with her foot. It was a great view of the city - and the ocean. This would do very nicely for a base, after all, kings and queens deserved any place on the planet they wanted. And what better place than a literal resort town? Of course...it could use a little reinforcing defense-wise, but at least it was beautiful. She looked down below - this is the place that the mighty lord of the ocean used to make his announcements.
She looked at the Neptunemon, and then at two Sealsdramon standing guard by the entrance of the room. She looked at the Neptunemon again - and then back to them. After a second of silence, she showed visible anger, yelling at the two guards, "Well?! Move him over here!" Realizing their mistake, the two draconian assassins grabbed the god-being by his arms and heaved him over to by the window.
"Alright! This has been so fun! Are we all ready?" A mysterious figure nodded from the shadows, the sunlight reflecting on his shades. Another smaller figure nodded as well. With the command from these two, the fairy begun her speech, using the city's announcement system - her voice would be heard through all the various intercoms located throughout Triton City.
"People of Triton City, today your king has failed to protect you. There is an army of undead closing in outside the walls of the city - soon they will be here to devour you, your families, your children. Today he stood in wait, doing nothing about the attack he knew full well was happening. He failed to even tell you about it. He has failed as a leader - and for this, we have come to change usurp him. We will protect you. We are the people - we are the resistance. From this day forward, Triton City will be under our capable protection."

Slumbering King - Every time Monmon deals damage to an enemy, he gains a stack of Royalty. Royalty stacks up to five times maximum, and he loses one stack whenever he is damaged. Royalty lowers his agility, but can be consumed to increase the damage of his next attack by 20% per stack.
Battle Synopsis
| Jeremiah watched from the walls as the Skullgreymon rampaged. He had been visiting Triton City for a small break, a holiday, if you would, and was out taking the sights when he heard a commotion. Already on the walls, he pulled out his phone, and used the zoom function on his camera to see what was happening. His eyes widened in shock as he saw the Skullgreymon appear, though something was amiss. A small, glowing creature flitted away, something his Digivice called a Tinkermon.
This did not seem right at all. Instead of jumping into the fray like everyone else had done, he just stood on the walls and watched. As the battle continued, as the Skullgreymon continued to move forward, despite the multitude of attacks directed towards it, the feeling that something was wrong continued to grow. It wasn't until the SkullGreymon started to take actual damage that he realized what the problem was. This digimon had no sense of self preservation. Apart from the few attacks that it sent at random digimon, all it was doing was moving forward. Moving towards the city.
It was being controlled.
If it was a wild digimon, even if it was raging, it wouldn't be so focused on the city. But this digimon only had one goal, and it was going to sacrifice itself to get there. The pieces started to slowly click into place. But why would someone send a single ultimate to attack the city? There was no way it would be able to do anything by itself, and there were no other attacks going on. At least, not that he was aware of.
He pulled out his phone, and contacted the D.A.T.S information network. After locating any information to do with Triton City, and blocking out anything to do with the SkullGreymon, he found two articles that only confirmed his suspicion.
"Wanted: Sealsdramon. Known Assassin. Extremely dangerous. Last known area, Triton City."
And further down the list was
"Information Required. Royal Guards bodies have been found in the city. Killed with no struggle. Assumed professional work."
He took a step backwards, the sheer enormity of what he had just figured out momentarily stunning him. The Assasin. The murders. The Skullgreymon. It all fell into place. What if they weren't trying to destroy the city, but to take it over? They would need to take out Neptunemon. But taking out one of the Olympian 12 would require either enormous amounts of power, or a covert action. Obviously, the Skullgreymon wouldn't be enough to take him out, so the sheer power tactic was out. But if he was being used as a distraction...
One last glance towards the battlefield, and he decided that they didn't need him. There were enough people there, and Rukia seemed to be there, which eased Jeremiahs worry. At least there was a D.A.T.S prescence there. He had noticed the terrorist boy and his friends, and hoped that she would be able to stop something happening if they decided to pull the same move again.
He turned around, swiping his card and jumping on Behemoth. As he drove through the city, towards the Commanders Office, where Neptunemon resided normally, he went through the rest of it in his head. If they were trying to do it covertly, they would need to weaken the inner defences. Something like getting rid of the Royal Guards, by assassinating them. This would leave Neptunemon defenseless, except for his own prowess. Even though he was Mega Level, there were still ways to defeat him.
He finish at the bottom of the tower, Behemoth dematerializing. Kong joined him, not understanding what was happening. "This may be up to us. The fate of the city may rest in our hands." He pulled his phone out, sending a message to any D.A.T.S members nearby, and messaging a few other people.
Harley and Katsuro. The two he had come to the digital world with. It was a simple message, and he hoped they would be able to help. Triton City. Skullgreymon is a distraction. Neptunemon may be in danger. If you are nearby, come and help ASAP." With that he put his phone away, and ran into the building, Kong following behind him.
He sprinted upstairs, hearing Neptunemons booming voice from above. As he burst into the room, just after her speech echoed throughout the city, he came into an amazing sight. Neptunemon, bound by a simple pair of binds, completely subdued. And the attacker, as Jeremiah had surmised, was a Tinkermon. He ignored the other too people for now, focusing on the one he assumed had set the Skullgreymon on it's attack path.
"You! You are the one causing all this, the one that attacked the city. I shall not let you deceive these people into thinking that their Sovereign has failed them. I will take you down, and bring you in for the punishment you deserve!"
Wasting no time, he pointed at the fairy, and promptly issued a command to his digimon. "Kong! Take her down!" The little monkey let out a screech of agreement, and pulled his slingshot out, jumping in front of Jeremiah and unleashing a hail of pellets towards the Tinkermon.

DIGIVOLUTION The white light that swallowed Nox had now faded, leaving no tracks but a transformed digimon. A black dragon with sharp claws and deep crimson optics stood in the place of the gazimon, glaring at everyone and everything it sees. Without a second of hesitation, he bolted towards the direction of the fairy and shielded her from the Monmon's attack. Letting out a low snarl, he turned at the monkey and charged with a killing intent. The devidramon was definitely not just a scary face as at the moment he reached the rookie, he raised his limbs and slashed Kong with his crimson claws. In a hidden corner, Astoria leaned on the wall with one arm crossed and one hand cupping her cheek. A nonchalant expression resting on her face; not very amused with the appearance of this bespectacled character. Who was he supposed to be? No, more likely, what was he doing here? The Skullgreymon should have taken his attention, the city was supposed to be clear off pests like him. A few must have been left-- these were what she had to get rid off then. She couldn't let these people touch even the tip of their adorable new tyrant's hair."Oh, I don't think I can allow you to do that," Her cool voice filled the air as she stepped out of her hiding place, now both arms crossed on her chest, a smile gracing her lips.If Astoria guessed, this person wasn't the only who'd be appearing with the same intentions. The tinkermon wasn't very careful with her words, if one had to ask her. Most people weren't capable of adjusting to change that easily; there would be lots of questions, lots of problems and surely lots of antagonists. The black-haired didn't know much about what Hummingbird and her subordinates were planning but it seemed out of impulse. But, she'd give them the benefit of the doubt. GOT UP FEELING SO DOWN This time, he would not allow himself to be so complacent. The Hive was already raring, roaring and buzzing in the back of his mind. It was lucky, then, that he had been so close by when he had gotten the message from Jeremiah surging through his D-Tector. Glossing over the SkullGreymon moving swiftly towards the city, he shot through the air as quickly as he could, speeding towards the city -- where the heart of the problem lay. He came just quickly enough to hear the announcement. "...he has failed as a leader - and for this, we have come to change usurp him. We will protect you. We are the people - we are the resistance. From this day forward, Triton City will be under our capable protection." In his time here, the complacencies of the Olympos Twelve, their so-called 'leaders', had become considerably more apparent to him -- more so than usual in the past couple of days. The cryptic Ginkakumon's message left upon the East -- and now this, springing up a few days later? Something was at play -- and those who had been appointed to protect them, were nothing short of useless. The Hive demanded intervention -- to stop the attack, that was -- but cast no light on the problems of leadership. That would have to come another day, surely -- his duty now was only to stop this chaos. The City Hall's doors were wide open. Without touching the ground, he burst through into the inner sanctum, his translucent wings glistening in the sunlight bursting through its stained-glass windows. The Neptunemon was being restrained; Jeremiah stood below, Kong intervening with an attack upon the woman he could only assume to be the perpetrator, and a black-haired defender of her will was commanding a Devidramon to intervene. DATS were no better than the Twelve, in his mind, the Hive's -- whichever. It had grown, now. Its presence was no longer uncomfortable -- it left him often in agony, blistering and burning in the lesser annexes of his mind. Katsuro's "justice" was growing more and more indistinguishable from pure, self-serving, sadistic wrath with every day that passed. The Hive, today, had engulfed him -- he was its servant, and the lesser Katsuro beneath was being slowly crushed, his presence splintering and shrinking with every passing moment. For today, he would only be a mouthpiece. For today, as painful as it was, he could only watch as he performed actions he disagree with, spoke words which were not his own, and for today, he was controlled. "ENOUGH!" The Hive bared glistening claws, its voice a deeper, unrecognised guttural, edged with something darker than his original autonomy. "CHAOS IS SIN, AND SIN HERE WILL ROT!" Claws out, it begun to dive towards the Tinkermon, ready to bank upwards and eviscerate her as best it could in an uppercut. "HORNET BLADES!" Whether it weaved aside the attack or otherwise, he rolled backwards and landed on the marbled floor of the city hall -- equidistant between Jeremiah, Tinkermon, Neptunemon, and Astoria. For today, for now, the Hive chose no allegiances. Its side was its own.

Tenacious- The first time Sawyer would be defeated, he isn't, hanging on for an additional post beyond where he should have been ko'd or killed.
Battle Synopsis
▪ Joining the defenders
▪ ▪
60% Experience until Armor Ult 121/200 Posts | Elizabeth had been enjoying her afternoon so far. She'd planned on taking her brother out for lunch. However a buzzing from her phone alerted her to a present danger. She'd instructed her comrades at D.A.T.S to only use this number in case of emergencies, and as this was the first time she'd received a message on the number, she felt that they'd honored her wishes. Which meant this task was of dire importance. She shot a serious look to Sawyer who'd been chewing on a pillow up till now and the Digimon blinked at her as its expression became a little more determined. The Brunette donned some tight cargo pants, a a tight sweater, some leather gloves and a fine pair of combat boots. She'd bought the ensemble for this express purpose. Tactical emergencies.
Sawyer made a quick digivolution to his rookie former and the duo made the jump into the digital world at the requested location, Triton City. She'd never been here, but a quick glance told her things weren't right. A public announcement told the woman everything she needed to know. Resistance indeed... It sounded like the speech right out of one of Sawyer's animes. She wouldn't have been called here if the matter wasn't pressing, so putting two and two together gave the martial artist and model made her way towards city hall, where she'd undoubtedly find the villains in this whole affair.
"Stage an attack on the city. Insinuate that the leader is weak." Repel " the attack on your own and be remembered as heroes, rather than conquerors. Where have I heard that before?"
She'd say with sigh as she came upon the open doors of the house of the people. There within was quite a mess of people, only one of whom Elizabeth recognized. "Regis! Sitrep!" she'd shout to her only confirmed comrade. Right from the start Sawyer would avoid the door and instead join the fray by spinning in a tight ball through the open window by which Neptunemon was being held captive, skidding along the ground until he was safely behind the fish lord and his assailants. He'd point a single claw at the group of villains, giving them a fierce glare. "If you truly wished to save these people, you'd let their king go free! He can not help anyone bound by you for whatever wickedness you have prepared! Hark, fiends! For you now face the grain of villainy! The mighty Hackmon is here to make you pay for you heinous crimes!" he'd spew out, not realizing he'd said "grain" when he'd meant "bane".

Triton city... not exactly a place the avian Digimon would normally favour. At least not for leisure. But his work never allowed for leisure regardless so his reasoning was rather flawed to begin with. Instead, what should worry him more would be the task ahead. Not that Iscariot was particularly bothered, but that mundane task he agreed to aid with would help him with his true purpose; spreading death. Of course, his employer was a man of great proportions. One he would normally be disgusted with, simply due to the sheer violation of the purest law there was, but something about him earned the doctor's respect. In the form of Plaguemon, Iscariot had no issue confronting others, as was the case any form in fact. His exterior didn't exactly matter when given a power like his. Though, he found this form to be the most suitable for now. The Champion stared dead ahead with the empty, emotionless eyes of his face, that at this point could be called a mask due to the lack of any expression. He did he best to tune out Hummingbird and the nonsense that seemed to loiter the environment around him like an awful stench for now. Instead, his attention seemed to be captivated by the tamer and the Hackmon that just arrived. His job did require him to fend of the defenders after all. Perhaps he could get right to it without any of the menial dribble the others indulged in. He would remain motionless as the pair would approach the mayhem. He doubted anyone noticed he wasn't a statue because he had ignored everyone else so far. It was only then when the virus would move, extending an arm towards the Hackmon. "Travelers. Welcome... to your destination. You've journeyed well so far."The Plaguemon took a soft bow, crossing his cane in front of his chest for a moment before his otherwise empty eyes would form a singly, burning red iris each as he would stand upright once more. There was no need for delays. No need for explanations. Only actions mattered now. After all the pair had arrived at their final destination already. He couldn't possibly delay them from the sweet embrace of death any longer. "DATA ROT."The avian like creature would mumble calmly. There was not need to stress. He had no fear at this point. How could an agent of fear ever experience it? His cane would take on a murky aura before the attack would spread towards the Hackmon, though it would initially feel like a harmless breeze of wind, hardly visible. His afflictions took time to set in, but that was made them his favourite tool. For it was within those few moments that he got to truly understand his prey unlike anyone ever did before. ______________________________________________________________________________ Used: DATA ROT - Iscariot infests a target with a deadly plague, causing their very data to rot for three turns, damage starting low but increasing over the duration. DATA ROT can cause bits of the target's data to fall off if they had taken a lot of damage beforehand. During DATA ROT the target can not be affected by the healing compartment of any move, but purifying moves remove the debuff. If a target is deleted under the effects of DATA ROT the plague spreads to the closest target. COOLDOWN: 3 posts. eris of gs

There was nothing he could do - a true assassin wouldn't parade around a kill that they haven't already obtained. Surely, Neptunemon was starting to feel mighty sick by now, after all, plague doesn't really go too well in one's light refreshments. His mindless partying would be his downfall - he was careless, and ultimately, a gigantic fool. It was humilating to think these insects were once able to defeat her and her king. Their Sovereign. This word caused the fairy to twitch in anger, violently responding in an insane tone, "Sovereign?! You dare worship a false god over our Savior - our King - our God?! You are blind like the rest! You insult my Lord and you will be the one who is punished!" Her tone changed from divine anger to a childish tone, there was clearly something wrong with her, ages of digital damage, maybe spending too long in a pit. Who knew. Several bullets came at Hummingbird, only to be blocked by one of her allies - Astoria's Devidramon, Nox. "But we don't take people in, tehe, no, we like to tear their organs out. One by one. It's going to be so much fu-" The sadistic Tinkermon was interrupted by a Hackmon and another fleshbag, likely a friend of the one before her. It spout some nonsense about justice - typical - and then spoke of the Neptunemon like it was her king and savior. Disgusting. Focused on the two agents, she was caught off-guard by the sudden arrival of a new enemy - a Stingmon. He had nearly hit her, if she hadn't swiftly moved to the side, just in time for the stinger of the wasp to clip a strand of her hair. The blade made a loud clank on the wall, indicating the strength of the attack, and then in a flash, the attacker was on the other side of the room. Now this one, ironically, seemed to be a bit more than a mere insect. The fairy spoke in a low voice - calm - murderous, much like a certain character from the Silence of the Lambs. Her personality was all over the place, all of this was so exciting to her - and it was so very hard to control herself these days. "Chaos is the will of our true King. He cannot possibly know sin." The Tinkermon readied her weapon, fully ready to charge at the Stingmon - deciding him to be her target. "Don't be so flattering." Hummingbird turned her head in delight - it was the voice of their king. A figure stepped out of the shadows - the final one hiding there. They have all been waiting here for the smarter ones to show up. After all, those were the best potential recruits. The man was tall and strangely dressed - surprisingly lax for a man that was being referred to as a God-King. He wore a red Hawaiian-styled tourist shirt, a pair of extravagantly printed shorts - and finally - flip-flops. "Hey, Katsuro. Isn't that your name?" He was calm - almost as if he were here on a friendly basis. "I think you killed a few things that belonged to me during your stay in this world. That wasn't very nice." Disgusted that her lord was talking to a lesser creature, Hummingbird's grip tightened on her spear. "Oh, man." He put his hands in his pockets and looked around the room, stepping further in the light, which revealed his finer features. Blonde hair, piercing red eyes, and finally - a Japanese styled blade adorned at his hip. His crimson eyes surveyed the room - everybody seemed to have a match, and only one was uneven. "It seems he's Ultimate-Level already, Hummingbird." He grinned, showing a bit of excitement - he was just as twisted as his partner, though in a different fashion, "We should at least match him - we don't want to embarrass him or anything." The Tinkermon grunted in response - questioning her Tamer, "I can kill him in this form." That may or may not of been true, but her lord simply gave her a dissatisfied look, forcing her to change her mind. "Fine." The fairy then threw her spear in the ground in front of the sickened Neptunemon, standing on-top of it to form her body into a cross. In seconds, her body was developed into a blinding light pink light. WARP DIGIVOLUTION ACTIVATE_ The Tinkermon's two feeble wings turned into a magnificent eight, her tiny body now becoming that of a fully-grown and quite well-endowed adult female, her tattered clothing turning to holy silk, and her eyes being covered now by an iron helmet. Divine feathers filled the room, creating an ethereal atmosphere. It was an Ultimate-Level Digimon, the holy angel monster, Angewomon. She extended her arm, balling her fist, and in an instant, her wrist emitted a claw-like weapon made of holy energy. Her other arm followed the procedure, and within seconds, she took off from the ground and rushed at the Spirit User, hoping to grip him with her newly formed talons and take him straight out the window with her. Their battle would be for the whole city to witness. | Jeremiah walked away as Kong attacked moving to the corner of the room to stay out of the fight. A bright flash of light appeared as he did so, following by what seemed to be a demon flying out of it. The creature flew in front of the fairy, and while Tinkermon herself did not get hit, the pellets all had the same effect when hitting the dragon. As each pellet hit, the fairy shielded by this creature, a small glow would intensify around Monmons head, the shape of a crown taking form. Once the rain had ended, Monmon sat there with a full crown glowing on his head, the burden of royalty enhancing his attacks, but slowing him down.
However, the success of the attack was not to last, as the minimal damage caused had done nothing to slow the creature down. It charged towards Kong, easily reaching him, the little monkey being unable to dodge due to his speed being severely decreased. Instead of taking the devidramons attack, however, a sharp instruction from Jeremiah would cause the Monkey to react. "Kong. Monkey Bomb." Calm and collected, he had already figured out the best course of action, the one that will provide Kong with the best chance to survive.
The little monkey quickly switched ammo, and and jumped, shooting straight towards the charging Devidramon. The crown shattered as he shot, and the explosive charged glowed golden, doubling in strength and explosive power. By the time he released, the Devidramon would have been nearly on top of him, making the attack extremely hard to dodge, however, even if it was dodged, it wouldn't be able to completely escape the explosion in time.
As soon as the bullet exploded, whether or not it would hit the Devidramon, Kong would be hit by it as well, sent flying backwards as the smoke filled the room. A large flash of light would follow. As the burst of energy cleared the smoke, where the little green monkey had been crumpled against the wall was a larger, Pink Monkey, with a badass visor and shoes on its hands. Compared to the Devidramon, it looked downright stupid, and not threatning at all.
As this was happening, Jeremiah was keeping an eye on the rest of the people, letting Kong dictate himself, most of the time. He had noticed the fairys little outburst at the mention of the Sovereigns. Childish. Inept. He had no idea how she had managed to capture Neptunemon, but he doubted this was her real power. His musings were interrupted as a stingmon, one that he believed was Katsuro, flew threw the window, into the room, spouting nonsense about chaos and justice. However, at this stage, he was attacking the fairy, so Jeremiah didn't particularly worry about him.
His eyes travelled back to the girl controlling the Devidramon as she spoke, something about not allowing him. "That would bother me so much more if I cared about whether I had your permission or not." He quickly lost interest in the girl, as she was just standing there for now, and completely unimportant in his eyes. Instead he turned to the last member to join the fray, luckily enough, someone that he knew.
"Neptunemon has been captured, at least five hostiles, three digimon, and one unknown. Be careful, this is a highly volatile situation." As he talked, there was another flash of light, the Tinkermon digivolving to Angewomon. She quickly flew at Katsuro, attempting to take him out of the window, and over the city with her.
It seems all their partners had been chosen for them, he mused to himself, as the last member walked forward to combat Elizabeth. Well, he must certainly play his part too. As much as he wanted to try free Neptunemon, he realized that this situation was much more dire.
"Kong. Lock on to Devidramon." He pulled out a card, adrenaline, and swiped it. A surge of energy ran through Kong, increasing his power by 100%. Kong let out a primal scream, sprinting towards the Devidramon. His fur would start to glisten seemingly covered in some sort of liquid, before exploding in a ball of fire. Kong had activated Monkey Furnace, and had been covered in a layer of fire.
As he sprinted towards the Devidramon, he pulled his arm back, attempting to shove a flaming fist (shoe) into the Devidramons chest.

OOPS, YOU SAW MY HORNS they're really not halo, just horns Hidden behind an angelic facade; oh how silly, you fell for my lies. It's funny, the joke's on you. Can you hear my laughter? Can you hear my voice? You danced with the devil, now you must to pay the price. Nothing can save you now. [attr="class","horns"] Too close.
Astoria's face remained the same save for an eyebrow that was now arched, impressed by the counter if she must say, keeping silent all while the dark dragon received the damage. It shouldn't be that long until the last string of Nox's patience break; She was waiting for it, she was anticipating the crazy. She wanted to see the same bloodlust the other kid's devidramon exhibited against the devimon a few days ago at Terrabyte City. All bloody and chopped up seemed to suit the green monkey and his tamer.
The dragon slid across the room still on all fours, claws scrapping on the floor producing an ear-piercing noise. It was a good move but not good enough to take him down. However, as the smoke cleared out, instead of a green monkey, a larger one with a brighter color stood in the place of the former. It had digivolved. Astoria lowered her eyelashes at the digimon before rolling her eyes away in disgust, shifting them back to Nox, while in the background the tinkermon raged just as two more characters came into the play.
A voice, however, had stolen her attention. Turning her head slightly, only enough to get a glimpse of the newcommer, she saw his figured-- it was him. A smile curled from her lips as she turned back to the blond, spitting words that could have biten her if she, too, had cared. In all actuality, she felt that it was more interesting to fight that Stingmon. She preferred it rather than a pink orangutan.
"Kong, Lock on to Devidramon." Lock on? If it was what it sounded like then Astoria would have to thank this adorable tamer for that. He just dug his own grave but poor little blondie, completely clueless of what was coming to him. A target locked with Devidraman had so much advantage. "Paralyze it." Instead of dodging, Nox faced the charging monkey, grinning and showing his pointed teeth. His eyes began to glow a burning color- a violent shade of red- as he gave the Targetmon a glimpse of his ever-growing malice. A nightmare of agony and pain.
As she stood there on the sidelines watching the two champions clashed, she caught the sight of Neptunemon helplessly watching the battle from the corners of her eyes. He looked rather desperate, if not despaired. Oh, how she wanted to know how he felt watching his own city fall into others' hands. Her smirk grew at the thought. Shifting her gaze, she met the blond king wielding a katana, the once Tinkermon that was now a beautiful angel, then to enigmatic ally who breathed death. Ah, this was truly a picture of perfection.[newclass=.horns]width:418px;height:230px;padding-right:4px;font:12px trebuchet ms;overflow:auto;text-align:justify;line-height:100%;[/newclass] [newclass=.horns::-webkit-scrollbar]width:4px; [/newclass] [newclass=.horns::-webkit-scrollbar]width: 4px;[/newclass] [newclass=.horns::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]width: 10px; background: #000;[/newclass] [googlefont=Oswald] NOX champion species: devidramon gender: male attribute: virus family: dark dragon HP: 92/100 | passive LORD OF FEAR: Devidramon's wicked and evil intentions are so strong that they could reach other people thereby inducing and enhancing fear and horror, deducting 10% from his enemies confidence/fighting spirit. I GOT OFF BEING SOLD OUT "Chaos is the will of our true King. He cannot possibly know sin." The Stingmon twitched idly, the Tinkermon having sidestepped its attack with aplomb. The Hive twitched, hearing its opponent's foul propaganda for a moment. It acknowledged the Englishman's recognition of his arrival, and its monkey's entering the fray along with the appearance of a diseased... creature it recognised from the waterways in the east. Katsuro would have started to put the pieces together and ask questions. The Hive was not that way inclined. "Don't be so flattering." The gravitas was present in his voice from the moment he emerged from the shadows. In spite of his appearance, he exuded a sense of royalty, a sense of power, something that inspired depraved fealty. It took the Hive by surprise; the Stingmon focused and concentrated in entirety upon the new arrival. "Hey, Katsuro. Isn't that your name?"
"You deal not with him, wretch," The Hive hissed back, doing its utmost best to ignore the power between a man he could only assume to be the Tamer, and the Tinkermon. "His feeble mind could not handle such terror and tragedy. We had to take control." A lie, of course. Katsuro was there: he was watching, helpless, behind the bars of his cage. "I think you killed a few things that belonged to me during your stay in this world. That wasn't very nice. Oh man." He stepped out of the light. There was a blade at his hip; his hair an ageless blond; his eyes a piercing scarlet. The Hive would not admit it, but it tremored within. Everybody with any kind of sensitivity to digital signatures would feel it -- but the others were likely too busy with their own combat engagements. There was something inhuman, something beyond powerful exuding from him -- more so than his Digimon. "The boy did our bidding. We asked of him only what was necessary, to impose our justice and to cut down anything that got in the way." The guttural edge, the unnatural undertone beneath the Stingmon's voice was rising. "If you do not stand down, we shall feast upon your data next." It looked then to the Tinkermon. "The both of you."
"It seems he's Ultimate-Level already, Hummingbird."
"I can kill him in this form." The Stingmon hissed, baring its claws once more. There were fluctuations in the air. Something was coming. With no further ado, the Tinkermon launched its spear downwards and engulfed itself in light; the beetle Digimon threw up a hand, shielding his eyes from whatever poxy trick this was. But when it faded, there was no Tinkermon -- but an Angewomon, its eight wings and bladed energy claws rushing towards them. The tackle connected and carried the Hive straight through the sanctum's beautiful stained glass window, out into the air; it wrested himself free quickly enough, but as the last shards littered down below and the screams of the civilians evacuating faded, it rose a hand and began to chuckle lowly, brushing off any residual specks, tearing an embedded sliver of the glass free from his exoskeleton and flicking it away. "You underestimate us. The Hive's power is unity," It flourished its wings in a bold manoeuvre, hovering backwards to put a few yards' distance between itself and the Angewomon. "You are but one. We are many. Power is relative." The Hive knew its full power had yet to rear its head. It had to stall as best it could. "We will beat you in this paltry form, dog, and your master will be next. VESPID STINGERS!"
With minimal warning, the Stingmon rose both its arms, and launched the two sharp barbs towards the Angewomon, strafing right as they darted towards her; were they to land, they would embed themselves deep within her flesh, a venom with gentle paralytic effects would begin to course through her data. The Hive would not leave it there, however: it begun to take it upon itself to amass the entirety of the boy's arsenal. From within its core it conjured up a card, letting it float before his breastplate for a moment, before assimilating it in a gentle burst of golden light. "We would gladly watch you perish and fail alone, but we cannot bring it upon ourselves not to intervene..." The light begun to spread like a virus, bathing his entire right arm, washing it with the same, engorging golden light, elongating it and forming it into a glowing cuboid. The light begun to settle. "Your data will make a fine trophy." A smaller, yet not at all less underwhelming variant of RizeGreymon's Trident Revolver in all its majesty and power was fastened now to his right arm below the elbow. Tenacious- The first time Sawyer would be defeated, he isn't, hanging on for an additional post beyond where he should have been ko'd or killed.
Battle Synopsis
▪ Hackmon afflicted with Data Rot, will lose a total of 60% HP across its 3 post duration, due to virus type advantage. (5,25,30)
▪ Hackmon shatters the binds on Neptunemon ▪ Hackmon uses A Hero Emerges to Taunt the nearby Devidramon, Plaguemon, and Angewomon forcing them to target him.
60% Experience until Armor Ult 121/200 Posts | So much had happened in such a slow span of time. Was this what it meant to be a D.A.T.S agent? Taking part in chaotic battle royals with Digimon far out of your league?! So be it...
Jeremiah had given her the rundown of what she needed to know, her guesswork having told her as much anyway. She wasn't aware of the situation with Neptunemon though! Thankfully Sawyer's choice of entry placed him close to the ruling Digimon. His metal claws scrapped awfully against the floor, but it would only be a boon as they dug into the floor to keep him close.
No sooner had they arrived to the fight though, Elizabeth was greeted by a tall, slim individual in a plague doctor mask. He bid them welcome and for a moment, though unsettled by his appearance, Elizabeth had though he'd be an ally, a similar situation to the bugmon that had joined the fray. However, instead, he leveled his cane toward Hackmon and hissed out the name of his attack, as Digimon oft do. Data Rot did not sound like a benign attack at all, though the only signs it had connected was a shirt cough from Sawyer, who to his credit, looked no less driven than he did when he'd come through that window. Even after that little pixie thing hit puberty and became a freaking angel.
Digivolution still baffled the stock broker's mind. But there was no time to waste, and too much to do. Without her direction Sawyer lunged toward the captive Neptunemon. Whatever device they were using to restrain his power would be no match for the might of the hot-blooded hero of justice! Even if he had the sniffles! "Your highness! I'm here to save you!", he'd shout to gain the mega Digimon's attention. The little metal dragon would leap toward the captive Olympian, his jaw stretched out wide, once within prime biting distance, he'd snap his mechanical dragon jaw down on the inhibitor that restrains the so called king of the sea.
With his delusional mission accomplished, Hackmon would turn around expectantly toward his tamer, who he'd assumed would congratulate him on his heroics, but seeing her stare down Plaguemon allowed him to realize he'd effectively left her alone. On their first mission! The tiny dragon turned to Neptunemon with a worried look "I've got to go! My momma needs me!" he'd say in a hurried tone, rushing back towards where the three champions were generally located. Leaping into the air, Hackmon would shine a brilliant sheen of gold light around the room, bathing the three known hostiles in this light. "A hero emerges!" he'd cry out, landing in the center of the room, his body now clad in Golden scales, radiating in his temporary stat bonus. The foolish rookie pointed a single talon to the ceiling dramatically, "Those who champion chaos beware! For now you must face me! The tenacious dragon of justice!" the shimmering dragon would shout to the heavens.
Elizabeth looked on in horror as her Digimon signed it's death warrant. What the hell was Sawyer doing?! Being a distraction was fine when you had a plan, but they didn't! What was he trying to prove?!

"Oh."Iscariot muttered to himself, his shadow rising from the ground to stand next to him, resembling an exact copy of himself only dark and seemingly transparent. Both parties would sit there in what seemed like awkward silence, though in reality the Plaguemon would be giving a stare down at the abandoned tamer. From nature, the avian was stoic and given his lack of expressions it made it even harder to read him. He didn't feel insulted his opponent had left. After all a mon was allowed to do as it pleased with its life, especially those last moments. The Hackmon would soon be purified, gaining freedom from the mortal coil. The plague spreader would sigh, readying himself to speak once more as the Hackmon would return once more, screaming something about justice ad shinning bright. The Doppelganger sank to the ground once more before reemerging near the offending Digimon as Iscariot grunted, a murky aura appearing over his left arm, readying himself for an attack. He was clearly being taunted, and a creature of his nature would not ignore such tomfoolery. "Malady."The attack was spoken calmly, seemingly without any hint of doubt as the Doppelganger shadow would suddenly rise next to the Hackmon, only to vanish as Iscariot was suddenly in its place, readying a punch. His arm was fully coated in the murky aura now as the Plaguemon unleashed a devastating strike, aiming at the Hackmon and aiming to knock it outside it,ensuring he packed enough power and angled his attack to achieve his desired effect. He knew full well he had to get it away from the fight, so rather than focus on dealing damage, he focused on transferring the fight elsewhere. They were the only ones present in the room regardless. It was about time they joined the rest anyway. "Reaper's Touch!"__________________________________________________________ Iscariot used his shadow to sneak up on Hackmon, then swapped places with it using Malady in order to deliver an unexpected blow with Reaper's Touch, aimed at knocking the Hackmon outside of the arena if it lands. MALADY - Iscariot can instantly swap places with his shadow, granting him freedom for any movement hindering abilities and invisibility briefly allowing him to reposition himself. He may cast another ability after the swap. COOLDOWN: 1 post. REST EASY, BOY... "You think you're better than me..." Neptunemon coughed - the effects of the special plague Iscariot whipped up earlier in the day was really starting to take its toll upon the humiliated king. He wasn't aware of the potion until it was too late - and his trusty nurse was mysteriously murdered two weeks prior. He began to realize the foolishness of ruling a nation in such a lax manner - all of the strange misfortunes that have befallen him lately suddenly making sense. "You're no better. My brothers have defeated you before - and they will do it again." At this point, Hackmon charged at the Neptunemon's binds, delivering a powerful attack in an attempt to break them. It was, however, of no use - there was simply no way they could be destroyed by a Rookie Level - even if it was a 'weak' artifact. "Rest easy...boy." The fish-king spoke to the Hackmon, admiring his final act of bravery. The Digimon was strong in spirit, but foolish in tact. Something about this reminded the Olympus XII of himself in his earlier days, "I have failed this city and my brothers." He coughed up what seemed to be a deep green colored blood, his words becoming strained, "Boy, do not waste your life...those people..." He fell to the floor, his strength finally leaving him, "Are demons."His words echoed throughout the room in an ominous tone as he faded into a massive amount of free data, the device that once bound him falling to the floor with a clank. If the severity of the situation wasn't yet realized, it would be at this point, for Neptunemon of the Olympus XII was dead. At this point, two Sealsdramon and three Troopmon would storm the room, aiming their weapons at the DATS agents within the room. It seemed as if the whole thing was a set-up - this city had already been taken from the inside.
- NEPTUNEMON'S data is now free game! Liz or Iscariot have the chance to absorb this. If absorbed, they will gain 25 posts each. - Two SEALSDRAMON and three TROOPMON have joined CROW 's side.

sweet religion Help me, satan! help me, satan! i've been here so long for the love of god
+ condition: perfect! + passive SUNRISER: when in daylight, restores 10% missing health per post + passive TOUCH OF GILGAMESH: weapons have the divine edge enchantment, gaining a holy aura and +25% effectiveness + active LASERHAWK TALONS: one post remaining + attack GOD HAND | The angel flew out of the window, and along with her came the vigilante. The gorgeous stained glass window shattered in a dramatic fashion, causing the shards to fall below to the city streets. Ah yes - the city - one could really see it from this height. Small black dots began to appear in alleyways and other corridors, presumably Troopmon, and others could be seen fleeing, presumably the remnants of the royal guard. Citizens were not part of today's agenda, and all forces were ordered to not lay a hand on them. The angel thought this lame, but her master's orders were absolute. "The Battle of Thermopylae." Hummingbird chuckled in response to the Stingmon's comment on being many against her one, "My lord is a fan of Greek history - I'm personally very fond of the battles." At this point, the insectoid would fire forth his VESPID STINGER attack, in which the angel would sway to the side to avoid without too much of an issue - the projectiles not even grazing her wing. He followed up by activating a card to initialize the weapon of a RizeGreymon - likely knowing his first attack would be a futile effort. "I assume you are finished preparing." The archangel's voice was both heavenly and full of instability - like an opera singer who went mad. At this time, she thought she heard the shout of a certain Hackmon, but dismissed it as some sort of chirping bird and refocused on her battle. "You're going to wish I killed you!" She screamed in a manic matter, breaking her calm and holding out a hand, gathering a large amount of holy energy within a split second, then sending it forth in the form of a rainbow-colored laser-beam, tracing directly at Katsuro. The beam would move at the speed of light, making it nearly impossible to dodge without some sort of foresight. Hopefully shocking her prey with this warm-up attack, she would then fly upwards, and then swoop down like a hawk at a mouse, attempting to slash at the Stingmon's back with her armor piercing claws. If successful, or if not, she would remain within melee distance of the spirit wielder. She was ultimately holding back her strikes - attempting to injure but not kill her target.
It was obvious that Katsuro was not in control here - it was his spirit elemental. Anything he said at this point was madness, the ramblings of a simple animal, and giving it a proper response would be a waste of good vocabulary. The crimson eyed man knew this, and for that reason ignored what he had to say at this point in time. That conversation would come later - after Hummingbird had knocked him within an inch of his life to deactivate his spirit. Break it, literally, if one would. "You're playing hero. That's adorable, in a sense." Crow said to the Hackmon in his attempt to save Neptunemon, all while making himself the center of attention. Heroics were always so stupid - so mindless - putting oneself in danger for no reason other than the greater good - he could never understand these types. "Really stupid, though." Neptunemon coughed up his disgusting fish-guts and keeled over. It was about time. "I'll tell you guys what." He drew his sword as the data of the fish-king filled the room, stepping forward as if he were about to challenge somebody. It was not the case, however, as he simply drew the blade for dramatic effect, "Instead of dying, how would you like to be beaten within an inch of your life instead?" Crow laughed in a sinister matter, adding onto his statement, "We're going to need somebody to inform the word that the Shin-Sekai are here." At this point forward, it was all up to Astoria and Iscariot to finish them off, which he was certain they would do. The Sealsdramon and Troopmon weren't needed, so he ordered them to stand guard at this point. | © seadra of gs |
