New York, he was home again, home again for the first time since the few months ago he was sucked into the digital world. Of course it wasn't for long, he only wanted to settle his affairs and alert his land lord of his departure... He couldn't tell her where he had been but he let her know that he may not be back for a long time. 

After settling his disputes Leyton made his way down one of the many busy streets of the Empire City; NYC. He didn't miss the city at all but the women were still F-I-N-E that's probably the only thing he missed honestly.

In the crowd of people, walking the opposite direction, was Katelyn. You could tell she probably wasn't from New York, given they they don't typically walk against the traffick to get where they need to go. She had been bumping into many people, not really caring to stop and apologize - they hadn't been stopping to apologize to her, either. That was just how New Yorkers were, she figured.

After much shoving through the crowd, she bumped hardest into Leyton; you can only push up through so many rocks before one finally hits you hard enough to hurt. Kat looked up at the stranger a moment and said nothing, then shoved past him like everyone else.

THUMP, he was bumped into rather hard by a smaller person, his suit was probably scoffed, before he could get a word in they pushed pass him. Oh no, things weren't going down like that. 

Picking up their scent he reached back and grabbed the person's arm, a rather feminine arm. Oh? A typically rude new york woman, well hopefully she had the money to get his suit repressed. "Hey soul sister, what's the rush?" he asked smile on his face. " You're just going to pass me by without a sorry? How rude." 

This outta be fun, would she slap him? Ooo maybe she'd threaten him with a knife Fun Fun Fun

Katelyn was stopped in her tracks after her arm was grabbed. She sighed to herself, then turned around to see who the perpetrator was. She had already forgotten his face. "You live here, right? Hundreds of people could have pushed past you." She said with an attempt to yank her arm back from him (whether he gives it back or not is up to you), "I'll be on my way." She finished. Her tone was more curt than polite. She didn't really feel like talking to this joker, she had places to be. She wasn't exactly in a huge rush or anything, but she didn't expect any set backs.

He narrowed his eyes at the female, she was fiery, and it just so happened he like a little fire in his sauce. "Well you bumped into me, the crowd isn't so big that you couldn't see me." 

His Digivice began pulsating, hm, so she was DigiDestined? Righteous. "How about this, if you say sorry I'll let  you go, but if you don't I'll hold on and we'll have a nice long talk about manners." 

A mischievous grin stretched across cheerful expression, he wasn't mad at all but he couldn't let her go just yet. She wasn't all that bad looking either, maybe he'd get out of this one with either a fat lip or a phone number

Kat sighed and scratched the back of her head with her free hand, "Don't you have somewhere to be?" She asked. She didn't particularly mind giving an apology, but she was just being stubborn at this point. This guy was being a jerk off. "Why would you stop me out of the thousands of people who have bumped into you today? Unless you stop everybody and ask them to pay attention to you." She said, narrowing her eyes at him; This time, she delivered a somewhat mocking tone.

At this point, she would rather give this guy the silent treatment than apologize to him.

There was that flare again, this time with a cute little mocking tone to boot. "No, but I tend to stop other spirit users," his wicked grin turned into a goofy smile, "It not every day I get to meet one." 

He loosened his grip but kept a grasp of her, ignoring the eyes of on lookers. This probably looked terrible, a white-haired gentlemen gripping young, delicate young lady. "You don't have to apologize but I want to atleast talka little more," he pointed at his suit with his free hand "Look you scuffed my suit." 

Leyton gritted his teeth in preparation for a slap, "Who knows maybe you'll like what I have to say."

She tried to jerk her arm away again, but since he only loosened his grip he probably just got pulled a little closer. She looked a little frustrated now. "What does it matter to you, anyway?" She asked, balling her little hands into fists. Very intimidating. "You don't have anything to say to me that I would possibly be interested in." Kat added, tone almost challenging. Though she wouldn't like to admit it, this was a little bit entertaining. Lucky for him, she wasn't really the 'hitting' type. It took a lot more than this for her to just flat out hit someone - unstable or not.

Katelyn was beginning to realize she would probably be here for a while, so she leaned against the nearest flat surface. This guys grip was worse than handcuffs. Jesus.

She yanked her arm back, but he wasn't gonna have it, instead he followed getting a little closer to her, enough to get a good look at her eyes but not see her fist. He stared into her eyes, and reached into his coat pocket "Because," he rummaged a bit, was was he going to get? A gun? A  badge? Maybe a business card? None of the above, it was his white D-tector. "I'm just like you." 

Looking her over once more, he finally let her go. "I guess i made a pretty bad first impression... But I'm like you a Spirit Wielder and all I want is the chance to chat."

She looked at him a moment, between his d-tector and him, before flipping like a switch. "Not interested." She stated flatly, in an almost rehearsed way. That usually shook them off of her. He wouldn't be any different. Katelyn shoved past him, just as she did before. Kat began walking down the block without looking back. She couldn't understand for the life of her what was with that guy - he was persistent, she would give him that. Not persistent enough, she thought.

Following her pace the white hair followed her, hoping soon to catch up. What are you doing? Kotemon asked from within Leyon's Psyche.

Hey she's the first Spirit user we've seen in a while, Andrea is pissed at me, Marie has disapeared, this is our chance to make a new pal with our abilities, oh and we haven't seen Adam in days.

Before Leyton even began to go after her, she was already going at it with Labramon in her head herself.

Before she could gather back a response, the guy was calling after her. She was so lost in that 'talk' with Labramon that it startled her. Kat gave a resigned sigh and turned around and faced the guy. "Yes?" She asked, dropping the hostility in her voice that she had before, though she wasn't exactly the most polite. If he wanted to say whatever he had intended to, or continue what he wanted to say, now was probably the best time to do it. For once, he had her attention. Thanks to Labramon, and all.

He had finally caught up, phew it was too hot to be chasing girls in a suit. He placed his hands on his tired knees and panted a bit. "T-Thanks," he huffed, breath slowly returning. 

"Yeah, I was hoping we could chat about your spirit." he took off his Jacket and tossed it over his shoulder, "No ties or anything, I just wanna be friends honestly, we spirits gotta stick together." 

His chest was tightening, damned suit was killing him. "I could even answer any questions you have about being a Wielder." he licked his chapped lips, it was hotter than she was out here geez. 

He looked up at her like a child, eyes soulful. It was pathetic, but women loved kids right?

"I don't know my way around these parts." Kat added, tying her long hair in a high pony tail and fanning herself with her hand from the heat. "Just..please, don't get weird on me. Oh yeah he'd get weird on her alright, it was his specialty, besides she couldn't resist the ole Thomson family charm for long. "Yeah uh. there's a cafe right down the road." he pointed down the buzzing street. 

Now to reel her in "I'll pay if you're hungry." he smiled, he hated being a 'gentleman' but there was a lot on the line here. LOVE, well maybe not love but FRIENDSHIP. Sweet sweet platonic friendship. He offered to take her hand, because why not? "come on cutie, I don't bite" he laughed, "Well I don't bite on the first date." he shrugged. 

Who could say no to free food with a handsome stranger?
