Katelyn was hungry. She didn't care to pass up a perfectly good offer like free food. "Alright." She spoke, taking the stranger by the hand, hers being noticeably smaller and more fragile than his. Almost everything about her seemed fragile. "What do they serve?" She finally asked after a long moment of silence, not sure how else to strike conversation. Kat wasn't used to this. What had Labramon roped her into? Are you having fun yet? Asked Labramon teasingly in the back of her mind, Not particularly She had responded. In fact, she was incredibly anxious - though, she wouldn't let that affect her exterior. She never did. These kinds of situations were her worst nightmare. Oh well, can't stay socially inept forever. The only moment her anxiety gave way was as they crossed the bustling road and she gripped tight to him - though she immediately relaxed this and upheld her rigid expression.

Grasping her hand he smiled, she was in for a heck of a time with him. "They serve all sorts of neat things; different coffees, sandwiches, salads, pastries, teas, cookies, even chicken wings." he pulled her along gingerly, not wanting to wear out the opportunity to hold her hand. 

Soon the duo would arrive infront of a swanky little Cafe name Le Metro, translating to just metro in English. "Do you want to eat inside or do you want to eat out here?" he stretched an arm gesturing to the tables outside of the restaurant; each individual table was circular and had a white cloth draped over it, accompanied by folding chairs.

Kat wasn't much of one for making decisions. She preferred to have choices like these made for her, especially because they were such small ones. "Uhm..." She began, "I don't know, I mean, do you want to eat out? Do you like to?" She asked, looking from the cafe and its set up back to him. All that she knew was what she wanted - the prospect of a cafe hadn't held her interest at first. She wasn't a big coffee fan, now tea? She could get behind that. Tea and sweets sounded ideal to her right now. Katelyn began fantasizing a little bit about some things that could potentially be on the menu; she was indifferent about a lot of things, but never her food.

Do you like to eat out No fewer words rang to him like a sweet melody like those, it was the first time he heard them... Ever... He gave her a wicked smile "I would love to eat out." he looked scanned the area, "But we'll have to do it in private." 

What a woman she was, she hit him with venom, and now she already wants to eat out? What a day!  He wanted to jump for joy; there really was a first time for everything, of course, he knew she meant to eat outside, but she set herself up for this. "Do you like eating out? Katelyn blushed a small bit, and not a lot made her blush. She mumbled a half hearted, mousy little, "shut the fuck up..." Before withdrawing her hand and crossing her arms over her chest. Kat realized she broke her composure and cleared her throat, standing as tall as a short stack like her could. "Hm. Nope. Eating out is fine. Noooooooo problem with that." She wouldn't let him see he got to her. Though, it was probably too late for that. "Shall we, then?" Kat looked back up at him, that venom back in her eyes. She was something else, apparently.

Leyton noticed her draw back, did that get to her? If he didn't know any better he'd think she was blushing. She was adorable, but he knew deep down she had fangs like a pit viper... What a dame.

He veered back a bit, lightly jumping as she snatched back her hand and shot a glare at him, her eyes like two pools of darkened Lapis Lazuli. His heart skipped a beat, what was this? He smiled and made his way to the nearest table, pulling out her chair for her, "After you my dear." he joked, wanting to avoid staring into her eyes again. She didn't scare him but he felt a sort of panic when she glared at him.

Kat huffed and finally looked away from him, annoyance peaking. Oh well. Once she got her food she would forget all about that little perversion; as if she didn't have her own. She leered at him again once he offered her a seat, plopping her keister in it - what was his game? Katelyn was very observative. Very intelligent. Her eyes were dissecting his heart, body, and mind. Something was different now, but she was no mind reader. Katelyn crossed her legs and smoothed her skirt, getting comfortable in her seat. She raised the menu to eye level, scanning between its contents to him - anyone would be squeamish under her unwavering, peeling stare. This was something else. "What is your name?" She finally asked, after long silence and intense stares.

He felt her gaze drilling holes into him as he made his way across from her. Sitting down he clutched his hands together and placed them on the table, so far so good. He didn't need to view his menu, he always ordered the same thing when he came here, heck his apartment was right down the road from here. He was going to get a BLT, with a little cheese inside, a classic. 

he tried his best not to stare at her, as whenever he tried to catch a glimpse her eyes would be drilling into him once again. After a short silence, she asked him his name "Uh.. My name's Leyton, Leyton Thomson." he muttered.

She was making him uncomfortable, she could tell. Kat hadn't decided if she wanted to make him uncomfortable, yet. Their waitress finally came over and she let them know what she wanted - Blueberry Acai Tea with a Chocolate Eclair and a Caesar Salad. She didn't want a huge meal right now, but she was almost sure to order some of the more pricey items from the menu. "Katelyn." She said after putting her order in, crossing her legs the other way. "What's got you? You were so talkative before." Now she was just screwing with him. She put an index finger under his chin and made him look at her. "Am I making you uncomfortable, Leyton?" Katelyn was challenging him. She was honestly an extremely dominant person, now that that side decided to show its face.

Thank the maker, a waitress, his heroine finally came. "I-I'll have the grilled BLT and sweet tea please." he handed her his menu hands shaky, what the heck was wrong with him? He had never felt panic in his life, Andrea, Claire, not even Plutomon made him feel such fear, it was like she was holding a blade up to his throat and could press it into him at a whim. 

He felt one of her dainty fingers under his chin, he let out a loud gulp from his throat, he couldn't stop looking into her eyes, he felt his hands tremble. Kotemon could say nothing, as he had vanished into teh white hair's psyche for a moment. "N... No, I'm fine, you're fine... So fine..." 

He bit his tongue, "I mean you're okay, I'm sorry if I'm alittle off."

She was savoring every moment of this. The reason why, she wasn't sure. "You think I'm fine?" She asked him, licking her lips and pricking his flesh of his neck with her fingernail. A small trickle pooled out onto her fingertip. She pulled her hand back to herself. "You don't know what I am." Kat said, licking the blood from her fingertip. She grinned then leaned back in her chair once more, smiling daintily now. "You're a terrible liar." She stated, resting her head in her palm. "You wanted to talk? Now talk." Katelyn continued to challenge him, quite quickly gaining the upper hand in whatever this situation had become.

He felt a prick on his neck, his panic turning into fear. He felt his heart sink as he helplessly watched her lick the blood droplet off of her finger. Leyton held his neck, a knot forming in his throat, he wanted to speak but couldn't get anything out. Why was he afraid? Well, she hadn't expected him to get up and just ditch her like that. She quickly grabbed his wrist, just as he had done to her earlier. "Whoa, whose..where do you think you're going? Is the gentlemen just a false air of yours?" Kat asked with a small laugh, "No, I haven't been." She said, answering his question. "What's the rush? Did you want to go somewhere private with me or something?" She licked her lips and winked at him. Katelyn was testing him; was his flirtatious nature just a facade? She guessed she would find out.

Leyton licked his chapping lips, as he departed she had grabbed his arms. The roles fro earlier seemed reverse, though he was scared and she took on the role of the predator. He needed to kill his inner fear before he trembles like a drenched cat. 

I am a man He thought to himself, taking a deep breath. "Well it depends on, I could take you somewhere more private, but I don't believe that you'd like not being able to walk for hours." 

Oh, maker what did he just say? "I'm sorry that was inappropriate," he sat back down. He needed to keep calm; she wasn't going to hurt him. Right? He felt the small cut on his neck burn from the contact with air, r...right?

The digital world? "Why would I want to go there? Not my ideal date plan. What's there to do in a world like that?" She said bluntly, before realizing that was more than a little rude. "I mean no offense. That was a genuine question."

Katelyn blushed furiously and hid her face, hoping he hadn't seen her give way to a form of weakness. No. This was a game now, one she couldn't lose. "Don't flatter yourself." She said, tapping the side of her cheek with her index finger. "If anyone would be left praying for God, it'd be you." Kat fired back with a challenging smile. "I've met men far more..intimidating than you. What makes you think you stand in the same ring? I'm listening." She spoke. As an intermission for his response, the waitress quickly brought their food. As kat waited for him to reply, she promptly grabbed the two hundred and shoved it in her bra. "With poise like that, you'll never get underneath to get those back." She challenged further, spearing a piece of her Caesar salad.
