After the three idiot Guilmon collided with one another, almost smashing the injured one to pieces, Annelise's Catscratch Fever connects with the three, fully eliminating the weakest one, as she rushes past towards the Devimon. Lisbeth's psychotic swinging starts bashing in the faces of the two BlackGuilmon left, leaving nothing but dust, data, and one terrified BlackGuilmon. It begins to flee from the area. Lisbeth Kendt

Juliette collapses from a simple strike by another one of these large glorified lizards, as it stared blankly at the Salamon. It takes the full brunt of Grace's Puppy Howling, and still stand there, drooling over the downed girl. However, it begins to seize, its tail, arms, and every muscle on it twitching. The two BlackGuilmon leaped from base of the staircase towards the two targets: One for Astoria, the other for Nox. As they blitzed towards their intended victims, a loud roar came and stunned the digimon going for the Gazimon, though the one aimed for the girl kept up the pace, unfazed. A round of explosions followed from a mass of missiles that had been fired from a Gaomon's fist; Kay's attack was a success, wiping out three of the BlackGuilmon from existence. The other two were hurt badly, but not out and began to give chase to the dog digimon and its tamer. That is, until one was sniped by a bullet, and the other was split in half by a giant axe. Annelise's Violent Pounce seems to just miss, as the Devimon lazily slides to the left. It looks amused, and ready for a fight, while presenting its red, middle finger to the BlackGatomon. Lisbeth Kendt

Being taken surprise by a crimson-red flash, the Devimon takes the full force of Alecto's attacks. One after the other, the Devimon is blasted backwards into the other side of the street, kicking up the dust of broke concrete around it. As the dust began to settle, a fainter shout could be heard from within the cloud. "YOU BITCH" he screamed, "I'LL KILL YOU ALL!". In a fit of rage, the Devimon shot up through the clouds, and began speeding towards the Witchmon below him, ready to claw her limb from limb. Hunter Gaul

The Devimon continued flying upwards post-attack as fast as it could, trying to gain a superior height advantage to exploit the time he may have bought. Fortunately for it, this meant the Devidramon's attempt to grab it would come close, scraping its boot, but not enough to snag it, and the pitiful snow attack bounced off him like a paper ball. It watched from overhead as the Tamer and digimon flailed about like a beast gone mad. Both amused and confused, the Devimon began to chuckle to itself. Perhaps today was its lucky day after all. Following the demon beast slamming into the ground, he watched as Damion slid off, with the Devidramon still raging, searching for its target. The Devimon did its best to steer clear of the Devidramon by being high in the sky, and launched another Touch of Evil towards the humans, while being far out of reach for the rabbit digimon's attacks. Damion DeAndre  Silica

The Ginkakumon twisted and contorted, watching shapes flit from building to building; Adam, Remy, Renae, Keigo, and Anko begun to rise. He saw the flames germinate, the blue and red together with yellow and navy in the mammals leaping across the buildings, and the aura the ExVeemon begun to emanate. The ogre snarled, his titanic weight still causing the columns of the building to creak. The minute he saw an attack plan for the Howling Blaster and Tengu begin to materialise, he started to release a slow, low chuckle.

"GALVANISE!" Clunk. The ogre pressed his fists together with a resounding echo, sweeping the battlefield. Targeting the twins, great bursts of crimson electricity arced outwards from him, whilst simultaneously overcharging the ogre's defensive battery to boost his kinetic shielding. The shock leapt forwards, however, in its main negatory capacity, to rip towards the fireball launched in his direction, leaving it cleft in two as energy met energy, dissipating in a burst of orange-red light. The twins' attacks had been blocked, with Ferghus' Fist of the Beast King also rolled into this before being shocked away by Galvanise. Suddenly, though, out of nowhere, Katsuo rose, its Thunder Blade clipped his side, smashing into his armour and causing him to stagger. Shouting in surprise, the Ginkakumon stumbles back and begins to laugh once more, before baring his spiked fists. "HAHA!" It lowers its hand and grins. "A SURPRISE. I WILL STILL HAVE YOUR HEAD, BEAST! STEEL BARRAGE!" With that, the Ginkakumon begins to pound the floor rapidly, unleashing a devastating earthquake which may well cause the Brooklyn Spire to further crumble, reducing maybe the very floor beneath them to rubble! FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS has targeted Adam Jackson (Adam Jackson ) this turn, the Galvanise attack functioning in lieu of a traditional point. Adam and his Digimon will suffer 50% more damage next post.

Both Remy and Renae gritted their teeth when their attacks were canceled out by the large boss digimon along with Fergus's attack that he had fired when the now champion level digimon decided to show up. As the attacks were canceled, both champion digimon felt the shock wave of energy coming toward them and rushing for the two young tamers. Without a second thought, Remy decided to jump back towards the tamers and quickly landed in front of them. He then used his ice breath to make a large ice wall to try and protect the tamers.

"Ice wall!"

As the champion digimon made the wall of ice however he took a big chunk of the damage so that the humans wouldn't have too. Being stubborn the champion wouldn't allow his legs to buckle and his body to fall. He had a job to do and he was gonna finish it. While her brother protected the humans, Renae also was hit by a chunk of the energy but like her brother she refused to go down. As he forced herself up, her great hearing began to hear the sound of something crumbling. She shot her attention towards the sound which was the buildings beams. This gave her a wonderful idea so she looked towards Keigo and Fergus as she jumped over to them so that she wouldn't have to yell.

"You two! We need to attack the building he's standing on! The big guy is causing the building to crumble under him! If we take the building out he might fall to his doom."

Renae then ran towards the edge of the building she was standing on and as she jumped to the edge she curled her body causing it to catch fire, as the circle ended a giant flame dragon shot away from her and towards the exposed beams of the building.

"Dragon wheel!"

Hearing both Fergus's voice and his digimon's plan Adam peeked out from behind the ice wall.

"Yell at me later, fight now! She's got a good plan."

Well damn. She honestly hadn't anticipated the fact that her singular heroic action would have failed. Maybe that was why she limited her heroic activities, aside from the awful feeling in her stomach when she did good deeds. Regardless, Annelise continued her free fall from the sky, smoothly gliding onto all fours, before turning around, just as the Devimon dove towards some fuckwit- one of Lisbeth's teammates, if she recalled proper. Kind of irrelevant for her, though. She only had to time this right, and hopefully it would connect this time; as the Devimon came down, she charged up a ferocious VICIOUS BITE aimed at his throat, if possible, body tensing in anticipation as the winged being descended on Witchmon. Coiled tightly back on her legs, she would try to spring out at Devimon, taking advantage of his forward momentum and concentration on his own attack. This bitch was going down. Nobody flips off a goddess and gets away with it. Meanwhile, Lisbeth storms forth, reactivating her signature Neal-like shriek, as she forged a path of violent aggression through scores of BlackGuilmon and at least fifteen Devimon. She swore that she also punched out Lucemon as she walked dramatically towards the tower, but that was debatable. She did, however, see the force ghost of the Loch Ness Monster, who reassured her in her strategy's soundness. She promptly killed the shit out of him as well. No funny business right now, as the jester marched forth to steal a robutt's crown. She would take his crown and make a minced pie of it, and would eat that pie and promptly vomit the metal out, because you can't eat metal, silly Lisbeth. She approached the tower and struck an absurdly heroic pose. "YO! BOLT BREATH! YOU WANT TO TAKE OVER MY TOWER?" "FUCK YEAH, I DO, NERD." Lisbeth looked over both of her shoulders, then checked under a car, behind a flower pot, and inside a large dessicated TaunTaun carcass before looking back up at Ginkakumon. "YOU MIGHT WANT TO REPEAT THAT AGAIN, BECAUSE I DON'T WHO THE FUCK YOU'RE TALKING TO, BUT IT SURE ISN'T ME, TIN MAN." "I SAID-" "NO, NO, NOT LITER- LOOK, YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET DEAD, ALRIGHT?" "COME AT ME BRO. 1v1 ME UNLESS YOU'RE A FLOWER." "WHAT THE HYPER JOGRESS DIGIVOLUTION DID YOU JUST CALL ME? THAT'S IT, I'M HITTING YOU HARDER THAN THE PRESSURES OF EVERY DAY LIFE AND A POUND OF BEES HIT MORTY." She promptly disregarded all of Adam's actions and all of the digimanz in her way as she quickly scaled the tower using her acrobatic skills, baseball bat clenched fiercely in her teeth as she did a bunch of cool backflips and stuff. Eventually, she reached the top and drew the bat from her teeth. Ginkakumon looked down at her in a very incompetent way as she glared messianicly at him. "So, Robuttmon, you know anything about HITLER?" He sneered down at her, "NO. NO I DON'T, FWAHAHA." Lisbeeth grinned a resolutely smirk as she raised her bat high over her head. "Me either, but I know I know that I'm about to HIT-ler your metallic face in, you horrorbull excuse for a giant robutt! You don't even have laser-guided missile launchers!" And cackling madly, she swung the bat viciously, striking his kneecap in such a way that the metal shattered straight up his body, producing a super-anime glowing flash of light, as Ginkakumon screamed "NOOOOOOOOOO, NOT MY KNEES, THE SOURCE OF MY POWER! YOU HAVE DEFEATED ME, YOU POWERFUL DANISH TEENAGER WHO CAN OUTEAT A TEXAN AT A HOTDOG EATING COMPETITION!" Lisbeth flipped her hair and grinned. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Ginky. Except THE SHADOW REALM!" The robuttmon then exploded, taking out all of the tower except the part Lisbeth was standing on, and then everyone started applauding her as she did a backwards reverse swan dive from the top of the 70th floor, straight down into a pool of zibba-zabba zooba jello pudding as she played a sick guitar lick. The day was saved, once again, thanks to collateral damage and dank maymays! She then woke up, having passed out immediately after beating up those BlackGuilmon. She glowered menacingly towards the tower, but otherwise sat on the sidewalk, eating popcorn and watching Annelise kick ass. The next robuttmon would be hers to slay. Even though his attack had clearly connected and caused damage, Katsuo was rather annoyed by the Ginkakumon's laughter. "Sturdy bastard." He grumbled, feeling frustrated by the fact. He however wouldn't have too much time to be dissatisfied, as the Oni Digimon proceeded to attack at the Thunderbirmon with a barrage of punches. Reacting quickly and using his already high speed, combined with the temporary boost to it from using Thunder Blade, Katsuo was able to dodge the attacks with easy. However, something that caught his ear made him stagger mid-flight (if you can even call it that) and turn to look at the direction of some voice yelling about 'taking down the building'. "ARE YOU FUCKING INSA-" Trying to make an attempt at making his voice heard and tell them not to perform the insane plan, Katsuo yelled as loudly as he could, but was cut off as quite the sizable fist hit him straight on. And then another, and another, and another, and many more after that. Still taking hits from the Ginkakumon's punches, Katsuo had no choice but to completely concentrate on the battle and as soon as he got his chance, he slipped out from the flurry of punches and flew a good 20 metes away from the Oni's reach. "Bastard hits like a damn truck too, I see." He muttered to himself, obviously hurt by that flurry of attacks. It wasn't THAT serious, but taking more hits was definitely a bad idea. This needed to end, and fast. So what would the Spirit Wielder do? Go full force of course. Flying around Ginkakumon at high speed and once he would get behind the bastard, the Thunderbirmon sped up straight towards the enemy's back. Once again, his body began to be surrounded by electricity, but this time the amount was greater. To add to that, Katsuo began spinning around at a great speed, creating a drill of both the element of electricity and wind. At this point he didn't bother uttering the name of the move, Thunder Drill. All he cared at this point was to take down the Ginkakumon. THUNDER BLADE, gave Katsuo a boost of 50% and also 2 Charge Counters. The move itself is cooling down. THUNDER DRILL, a powerful move, combining the power of both electricity and wind into one awesome drill. It gains a boost of 20% in power, but causes the 2 Charge Counters to break and disappear. PROTECTOR'S FURY is active, raising Katsuo's power by 50% and speed by 30%, and he can withstand one hit that would otherwise take him down. Daichi Kumo  ■ 353  ■ GIGA DRILL BREAKER!!!!!

A miracle happened.

While they were attacking the Digimon with one of her best cards, she swore she saw a glimpse of blond hair.

Though what happened after, she didn't pay any mind to, much too busy running for her life with Kay.

But although they had tried to run away, apparently they were two more of those darker creatures left.

The Digimon were closely approaching, which didn't help the already rapid beating of her heart.

But then, the sounds of a motorbike had became apparent, along with the screeching sounds of it stopping in place. She and Kay halted.

In front of them was the blond she had only been able to see a glimpse of, and his bike was blocking their way.

He quickly introduced himself, but she had frowned, after hearing the organization he belonged to.

Of course she knew who DATS was. They were basically the police force of the Digital World.

A few of the Digimon she and Kay had faced together, mentioned the organization before they were deleted.

And this guy was apparently the second-in-command? She didn't like that. Cops were always trouble.

Didn't help that someone as young as her, was willingly interfering with the organization's work.

Sure she could have used the self defense excuse, but if a cop went to her mom she was off doing something sorta illegal, she wouldn't hear the end of it.

Though that could probably wait for later.

"Riley. Just so you know, that was all self-defense, and we were tryna get outta here in the first place."

She hopped on the motorbike with Kay, already disliking the older blonde for not offering a hand and helping them up. What kind of hero did that?

After contact was made and the attempt to counter failed, albeit the tails near success. Yet at the same time it would appear lunamon's attack bounced off him nearly doing nothing. This enraging the Devidramon sparked it's desire to spiral forth and attack at it but due to the damage it seemed to have dislocated it's wings causing pain and it to spiral about frantically. All the while the Devimon watched from overhead as the Tamer and digimon flailed about like a beast gone mad. The annoying yet malice cackle from the Devimon could be heard despite the fact it was chuckling to itself. None the less only two things were clear, the first beginning that i was lucky. The second was that Devidramon once able to would tear it limb from limb and get it's revenge. As the best slammed into the ground and pounded away taking out it's pain and frustrations on the ground it would follow through like such for some time. All the while the male's actions seemed to go unnoticed among the two Black Guilmon who leaped from base of the staircase towards the Astoria and Nox. His maneuvers would have landed him near the girl as it would appear they blitzed towards them as fast as they could. That was until a loud roar came and stunned the digimon going for the Gazimon. It was with the horrific shift of gaze that the other was shaken enough to flee. Returning to slamming it's fists into the ground it would curse and amp itself up as it's anger was peaking. Damion now concerned would raise his hand, "Hey Devidramon calm..." But it was too late, using the rage and pain now in it's hands it would reach up and reset the bones on it's wings; a painful cringe passed it's lips as he growled loudly before howling in pan and anger. It's wings were now suitable to fly. It's horrific look only now shifting up. As it saw the high in the sky had only now just launched another Touch of Evil towards the humans. It was with that a smirk passed the digimon would burst forth without saying word as Damion continued to reach for it. This digimon wasn't like Impmon at all, it gave into it's wrath all to much, yet still managed to maintain logic. A true powerful digimon but was this the power they sought, was this worth the price he had to pay to get such a digimon. Only time would tell but for now he would just watch in horror as the massacre that was this onslaught of digimon only worsened. The Devimon coming in hard and fast was apparently just out of Silica's current reach, but perhaps if he could shift it up some. As Devidramon bolted forth the two could clash in a mirroring attack. Death Claw verse Touch of evil. Hands meshing as fingers laced; heads collided yet Devimon's weakened state and the horrific appearance of Devidramon seemed to give it the advantage as it's wing flapped faster and harder then ever before it attempted to overpower and bodied the devimon into the the building. Wings flapping fast it would try to drag it hard and fast along the building, glass shattering and cutting it up as well as he metal beams breaking against it's body. Arms still fighting against it finally it's tail would shot forth at it's neck in attempt to strangle the air from it as it continued it's brutal shifting about the buildings side slamming and smashing it along the side; hopefully causing a lot of structural damage to the building along with really beating into the devimon. Cocking back it's head some time into it's raise up the floors fighting devimon it would slam it's thick skull into it's face time an time again; using basic but powerful malee to get revenge. Hands trying to crack the brittle fingers of his enemy and nails diggin deep into if not already piercing said hands. Growling with each thrust made; it's own skull would bleed some but that didn't make it stop. It would only get worse, as it continued it's assault against the devimon it would shift it's weight in and out attempting to drag it across the length of the 27th floor as it slowly spun off the side flipping it as it pushed off and went spiraling into the building that Silica and Lunamon were in. Attempting to slam the digimon into it hard collapsing it's side leaving it pinned and slightly buried before it would then slam down hard onto it's body pinning its limbs down before raising it's tail and barraging about it's chest trying to pierce and rip it apart. It's maw opening it would rip at the flesh and attempt to rip chunks out of it hoping to hear the once cocky and laughing voice to scream in agony. It's eyes a crimson red seemed to be lost in rage and wanted nothing more then for the ultimate pain to pass into this digimon before attempting to destroy it possibly assimilating with it out of determination to prove it's superiority. Perhaps should Silica and Lunamon might be able to aid it if not talk some sense into it. The raging beast continued on trying to crush and cause as much pain to the devimon while trying to rip it data by data before it had no will left to live. It's maw lunged at the throat attempting to sever what would most likely be it's jugular. The goal to sever the carotid arteries and make it slowly bleed out; the most painful and slowest of deaths. The blood still dripping from it's own face it would grin evilly as the blood form it's lips shifted into a more malicious grin possible blood spurting from the neck of devimon before the final attempt to slay the digimon was made; both hands now gripping it's arms would pierce the skin with it's claws helping to sever it as it ripped each arm off; it's data distorting as it's tail came clamping down upon it's head. Arms cocking back in forth powerful slapping at it's head which was held in place. It would bitch slap the devimon with it's own arms had it been successful. Then to finish things off it would attempting to rip it's head clear off with it's bare hands. Had it worked it would turn to face the other Devimon in the sky and scream loudly in a roar as it pointed slowly to each of them it's horrific appearance only amplified by what appeared to be a homicidal nature. As it held the head up for all to see, it's tail slowly passing it's neck as if to indicate they were all going to be dead. Perhaps striking fear into them or grabbing their attention so others might finish them off. Assimilating with it if it would be allowed it would try to absorb the creature's ranged attack; if not forcing it to be a part of his data now as the ultimate revenge. Now fully pleased with itself it would reach for Lunamon in her new form and her tamer. grabbing them as it made it's way back over toward Damion the Astoria and Nox. Not saying a word he'd try to scoop them all up an bolt off once more towards the tower in hopes to reach the boss. Mortifed he'd remain quiet as he thought about what just happened. Vivid flashbacks of what had just happened scanning through his mind. Was Impmon rally capable of that or was it this new form, either way it terrified him. Far more then he normally would be, it was from that moment forward he'd look at Devidramon as a cautious ally and his last resort for digivolving. One thing was clear however about it, he needed to make a clear understanding with it and he needed to do it now. All the collateral damage and it's actions were clearly out of line. "Devidramon...what was that all about. We are hero's not villians you did just as much damage to the city as these bad digimon. Don't get me wrong I admire you strength and dedication to killing the enemy but...you went over board. Maybe...Maybe you should think about how you ant to be remembered as a hero...we can either be the one who works together and does things right avoiding incidents like this or we can keep these actions and be knon as Anti heroes..." His tone serious as the digimon glanced down momentarily it's tail swaying behind it as it flew up watching out for any opponent trying to sneak attack it. It's anger slightly subsided by his words but the determination to reach the boss and end this as far beyond it and thus remained silent taking the scolding. Hopefully between all the damage they cause and what appeared to be the ongoing battle above the building would have easily collasped upon itself some if not entirely causing the target to be lower to the ground if not the building to collapse upon the weight with weakened structure. If so just like a house of cards or dominoes one floor's drop would lead to another and another. The flying beast holding the kids safely as it's energy was nearing restoration and it was preparing to fire projectiles; the flames burning up inside of it gathering with such passion as they waited for the perfect moment to land; hopefully with-out being interrupted. Otherwise he'd have to speedily fly about maneuvering in ways to avoid being hit until he as able to safely drop off the kids off at the top with the rest to help fight the boss. Before he could promptly and properly attend to his own new challenges and fight full power without worrying about the kids; providing cover for them and their digimon.

How about these dorks, eh? Fighting off another menace: some ogre fuck in a tinfoil suit. Buddy was like some kind of King Kong up there, commanding his troops. Blight was a little beside himself, focused solely on the sky. Weren't they at the part of the movie where somebody threw an airplane? 'Won't somebody do it? For meeee?' he trailed off, whining internally. Nah, of course they wouldn't. Too busy. Hero time - or something. That being the case (and, since he always conveniently appeared before the end of a battle), he figured he'd join in again. Reap some benefits. Look good, but not too good. No no no no no. WAY good. Better than regular good. Over 9,000.

'I could probably stage some kind of epic appearance, and in my desperate hour, digivolve into the man I was always meant to be!'

Ahahaha, fudge it. No dramatics this time. Straightening his collar, he decided to avoid the rising action and skip straight to the climax. In a flash of green light, Hazardmon disappeared into the depths of a digiegg. In a few short seconds, the egg fragmented, revealing a new Digimon in its place. He didn't even bother shooting for his Armour form. Nope, he went straight to Champion. Perhaps more lazily, he failed to even shout his name, as most of them were apt to do...I guess. Venomon was fairly small for his level: about six feet tall, about 120 pounds soaking wet. His skinny ass frame was crammed into a green bodysuit, which clinged to him a bit too suggestively. His gangly arms were decorated with a set of razor sharp claws and his new mask sported a tuft of blond hair. To say he resembled bastard child of a ninja and a garbage bag was probably an understatement. He dug this style, though. Soon, he was gonna dig his talons into something else: King Kong. Holy hell, it was gonna be cool as shit to knock that guy off his crumbling tower.

So what was he going to do? There were minions to be dealt with: a decent number of them, too. BlackGuilmon and Devimon. And then the tower. This seemed like everyone's final push, so he felt like he owned them all a favour. The Champion hustled over to the thick of the fight, trying to position himself somewhere between the tower and the other troops. He spotted a Gaomon and a Salamon kicking some pretty serious lizard butt along the way. Slightly further than that, he spied a BlackGatomon, a Witchmon, and a few more bodies clamouring about. An even bigger (hah, literally) group of Digimon seemed focused on Ginkakumon. He looked frustrated and he'd prepared something special to slow them down. It was only right, then, that Venomon returned the favour.

"Alright kids, cover your noses, 'cause we're about to mess these bitches up!" Venomon announced (loudly, of course, in his best Ryan Reynolds voice). Adjusting the nozzles on his mask, he released a thick blanket of fumes into the atmosphere. These would cover a decent portion of the battlefield and heat would drive them upwards. While they would have lessened effects on Ginkakumon, the ground Digimon would likely face the consequences of reduced power and speed for three turns. And by reduced, it meant that anyone in the direct vicinity attacking the defending Digimon was going to have those stats halved, making them prime targets for punishment.

"FINISH HIM!"
And by that he meant he was gonna do something cool in the next turn. You know, hopefully showboat and take all the credit. But probably not. His timing needed work.

"I don't plan on making any arrests right now, Miss Riley. And as far as I am concerned, you are simply an innocent civilian aiding me in an investiga-" His words were cut short, his mouth dropping open as he saw something unbelievable occuring in front of him.

The tower was starting to shake.

And no, not from the Ginkakumon. From the idiots at the base that were attacking it. They were trying to collapse the whole tower! "You idiots! Kong, take care of the Ginkakumon. I'll lend you some power."

The little monkey opened its mouth, a hideous screech echoing, his normally placid face distorted into a snarl of rage. A small purple glow appeared around him, and the source of his anger became apparent. While seemingly calm, Jeremiah had allowed some of his anger to leak into his bond with Kong, his emotions triggering burst mode.

The little monkey pulled his slingshot back out as Jeremiah rode towards the tower, taking aim at any fleeing BlackGuilmon and loosing. Pellet after pellet flew from the weapon, his power severely increased by the adrenaline plugin and the activated burst mode.

The little monkey looked around, eyes locking onto his target, Ginkakumon, and quickly switched his ammo. He took out the exploding shot, and leapt off the back of the bike. Jeremiah swiped his fourth and his final card, and Kong tripled in size, his power increasing by another 100%.

Jeremiah turned to look at Riley Knight and swiped his last card. "If either of you have any firepower left, I suggest you use it before these terrorists blow up the tower."

As he swiped his last card, the crown on Kongs bead shattered, all his gained royalty being transferred into power. The last card, spiral twister, created a small cyclone around his two explosive bullets as they launched, both of them spiraling towards the Ginkakumon.

Jeremiah was confident that Ginkakumon had been dealt with, though he had no way of actually knowing. Assuming his buisness with the digimon had finished, he turned towards the human that had ordered the destruction of the tower, along with anyone else involved, and took a picture of themm on his phone. "I will deal with this one later."

Astoria's problem didn't stop even after Nox's attack; he managed to scare a BlackGuilmon but not the one that aimed for her. Knowing what would become of her, Astoria's eyebrows quickly furrowed, a profanity escaping under her breath, as she prepared herself to roll to another direction. That was her best bet, the last thing that would save her from getting injuries but that was until an unlikely hero appeared glimmering under the sun. Who knew that a tail of a hideous monster would rescue her?

"There is no need to fear gorgeous I'm here."

The black-haired stared at her apparent hero with an eyebrow arched; topless, sweaty and obviously out of breath. She wasn't exactly sure what to think or to feel but it was certain that this oddball caught her perplexed. Words of warning left the boy's lip to which Astoria nodded at as she helped herself to stand up. However, it was best for him to worry about himself and be more concerned with his little pet. The dark dragon didn't seem too pleased, or tamed for that matter. The black-haired lowered her eyelids at this all while keeping quiet. Nox, who ran immediately after he got his enemy running, was now standing next to his partner, gaping at the Devidramon.

As the dragon digimon went to slaughter the devimon, Astoria couldn't help but to let out a small smirk behind the worried young man. A little price to pay for such strength, he shouldn't be too affected by it. And, if he was a real tamer, he wouldn't discourage something as strong as that. Besides, couldn't he see how it was having fun?

It wasn't all that long until the devidramon finished his fight and after getting what he wanted, he came back to pick up not only his tamer but as well as the pair. How convenient, the green-eyed thought. In an up close view, the dragon was surely terrifying and, if she must say, impressive. The drama didn't stop though as the dark-haired boy began his little speech. Hero? A laugh almost escaped her lungs, it was a good thing she had a good hold on herself. Astoria, herself, would go with the latter choice. Heroism was simply an illusion. One could never truly be a hero because goodness varied among people where evil was constant.

Clearing her throat, the nineteen-year-old put on once again the mask of sanity. A delicate smile graced her lips as she called for the boy's attention "Heroes," Her gaze softened at the him "I think you're already taking the right path," Placing a hand on the devidramon's skin, giving it a gentle rub "I'll be remembering you as my heroes from now on, thank you for saving me and Nox." Although not all was a lie, they did act as her heroes.

[Haruhi Ryuukami]

Haruhi wasn't in the habit of exploring the digital world. Too often had she tried, then gotten lost in its dense jungles. Yes indeed, she was a city girl. Terabyte City had proven to be a home away from home sort of place, though the saying was a bit harder to apply to one who didn't really have a home, per say. Regardless, the young blonde enjoyed it here. She was certain other towns, cities, and villages existed in the digital world but here was a place where she truly felt comfortable.

Logging into the digital world was one of Hart's tried and true escape routes. Most places had something connected to the net and through that she could jump right in. Conveniently enough, she usually ended up here, in Terabyte City. Perhaps it was because she was on the eastern side of her country, in a metropolitan area, one that Terabyte might easily have been modeled after, but Haruhi wasn't one to look too deeply into the hows and whys of the digital world. She and her Digimon partner V had just made a quick escape from her surprisingly resourceful social worker who'd found her halfway through a meal she'd made after speaking into a restaurant after hours. They'd at least gotten some food in them and the dynamic duo was glad for the ability to warp so seamlessly between the digital and human worlds.

Or rather, they would have been. Had it not been to the sight they were treated to upon logging in. The smell of smoke tainted the air as a cacophony of panicked screams and maniacal laughter was heard all around. Upon her materialization, Hard had a lot to take in in just a few moments. There was a large mechanical monstrosity bellowing from atop a spire. A girl had just fallen unconscious by her, a dark lizard-like Digimon salivating over her body before seizing up. In the distance she could spot other dark shapes, silhouettes of Digimon fighting, vaguely human shapes thrown into the mix. With no real handle on what was going on, Haru presumed that this was likely some kind of terrorist attack. Were Digimon allowed to be terrorists? What sort of differences could they have that'd drive them to such acts of violence? Whatever those answers were, they'd have to come another day.

"V! The lizard!"

Without much need to specify, the Veemon leaped toward the seemingly immobile BLACK GUILEMON and aimed to deliver a signature VEE HEADBUTT to the side of its head in the hopes of finishing the fight quickly. Haru meanwhile unsheathed her bat, gripping the sturdy metal instrument tightly. She could take a swing at the creature, give V a hand... But then her eyes shot over to the unconscious girl that'd collapsed here. It definitely wasn't safe to leave her right there, if V somehow missed the immobile target, or wasn't strong enough to take it out she'd an easy target and in serious danger. If Haru could wake her up, then at least she'd only be the latter. The sporty orphan made a short run toward the unconscious Juliette Rhydderch , sliding like a runner into home to her side. The homeless girl gave unconscious one a good look over, trying to identify where she might have been injured, and if it were serious. Moving her might do more harm than good, depending on her injuries, though Hard was really only trained in the common sense of medicine.

[Anko Hiroi]

Anko screamed as a giant lion was charging up behind them, and then launched his ‘fist of the beast king’ right at them. Well, actually. It flew right over them, but you get the point. The young tamer got scared, holding on to Adam for dear life.
The Leomon then roared at Adam, making Anko peek from her hiding spot. Wait, they knew each other? She could barely understand him, sure she had learned a lot of languages but this? “Mister lion..” she began, looking a bit terrified. “Please stop yelling..”
Keigo winced as he saw that Remy, Renae and Ferghus’s attacks were rendered useless by Galvanise, it was all up to Katsuo now that he had a damage boost. Luckily enough, Remy jumped back towards Adam and Anko to protect them from the aftershock by summoning an Ice wall.

Noticing that Remy now took quite a bit of damage, Keigo noticeably flinched. This wasn’t going as planned. Perhaps they weren’t strong enough to beat this guy.
And as if his doubt was being sent through Anko, he heard the little girl shout at him. “Don’t lose faith, Keigo!” Her voice made the ExVeemon smile, knowing that she was safe thanks to Remy. “You can do this!”
He then looked at Renae, noticing that she too, had been damaged by Ginkakumon. The ExVeemon growled, feeling a little angry that Ginkakumon had injured his girlfriend.
Renae, however did not seem to back down at all, and as he was looking at her, he noticed a hint of determination in her eyes. She jumped over to both Ferghus and Keigo.
“But..” Keigo said, being interrupted by Katsuo’s objections about the idea. However, there was no time to do anything else. Keigo took aim at the building below the Ginkakumon, hoping that there were no humans or digimon located inside them. If there were, well.. that was unfortunate and stupid of them. There should at least be an evacuation going on. Katsuo was being used as Ginkakumon’s personal punching bag.
“X-LASER!” He shouted, and out of the V shape on his chest, appeared a large ray of light that was going straight at the building.

Something was terribly wrong now. The once sweet and admittedly; a little obnoxious Impmon had turned into some kind of horrific demon. Now the battle was demon versus demon; a brutal battle of power till the end. Silica watched them go at it, ripping and tearing at one another – until the final blows were made. A terrible deep rip in the neck of the devil and its arms where being ripped from their sockets. Lekismon jumped high, the power of muscular legs sending her much higher than usual. “Crescent Moon Wave,” she roared, placing her hands together and forming a large ball of water which formed and then dissipated slightly till it became complete. She threw the ball at the remains of the Devimon to help finish the creature, finally. It was too much; this was no longer safe. No longer about saving people, this was a monster and it terrified Silica to her core. The brutality and destruction. She couldn’t even stand anymore, falling to her knees on the lobby floor. As the battle raged on, growing more gruesome, the building they had been battling in finally gave in and began to collapse. Chunks of concrete and rock rained down over them. Lekismon jumped back down to cover the girl, protecting her from the worst of the devastation using her ‘Tear Arrow’ ability to keep the debris away from them. “Tear Arrow,” she called. The four blue tube-like protrusions over her back extended at once pushing away the worst of the debris covering them and allowing them to push themselves free. “Silica, go,” with a slight push out towards the street, warning her to not follow her back in. However, Silica couldn’t deal with that and shook her head defiantly, pushing the hair from her face. “I’m coming with you.” “It’s no longer saf –,” she started to say, but Silica stood her ground. “What part of ANY of this was safe, Luna,” the rage deep down inside her starting to grow. She pointed up to the sky and pointed first at the shadow of Ginkakumon in the distance and then to Devidramon who circled overhead. “Nothing is safe – nothing is right in this world. It’s all terrible.” The shadow of the Devidramon dropped down over them and picked them up on one of its hands. But – it seemed, calmer or at least less angry and likely to kill them. It carried them up and up, she didn’t even know where and Silica at least, no longer cared. Damion began to talk to the Devidramon, trying to talk it all out with him. Silica wanted to help him too but no words sprang to mind and Lekismon stood close by – starting worriedly at her tamer.

[Yana Sekigawa]

This was only her second time in the digital world... Yana and Ari had adventured a lot the first time around, seen a lot of of the digital world, enough to for the Russian girl to discover she had entered from the eastern side. More than just a friend and adventuring partner, the Salamon Ari was her guide, telling her all she knew about places the human girl never even dreamed existed. So mesmerized by the digital world was she, that she didn't even bother changing out of her school uniform - plaid skirt and red jacket - as she got home, and instead logged on straight away! But this time, soon after logging in and reuiniting with her best friend, Yana's adventures led her towards a large city in the distance, "This place...", wondered the curious Yana, mesmerized at the digital city before her. Yet even from so far away, something seemed off.

"Terabyte city.", informed a calm but stern, visibly concerned Ari. Something was visibly worrying her, one look at her four. legged partner was enough to confirm it, "But, something's wrong... It's not supposed to look like THAT! Let's check it out!!"

Driven by a mix of concern and curiosity, the Salamon hurried forth, prompting Yana to dash along, surprised by her partner's sudden sprint, "Ari, wait up!", answered the chasing tamer. The woodlands were slowly coming to an end, gradually replaced by concrete, urban looking landscape... They were only at the outsrkirts of Terabyte city and even Yana who had never set foot in it could see that something was wrong. Smoke reached her nostrils and screaming sounds of battle reached her ears. Ari quickened her pace and Yana followed suit, side by side with her beloved partner as they soon saw the full extent of the mayhem. Digimon and tamers fighting everywhere, and an obviously broken tower: Quite literally all hell had broken loose. The peaceful Yana was appalled at the destruction, rendered witless and unsure how to react. In the end, it was Ari who took the lead as she dashed over towards a downed girl - Juliette - being protected by another Salamon. As the shaken, conflict hating Yana was at a loss of what to do, Ari rushed over to the other Salamon, asking her, "What happened here?! Who's behind all of this?!", it was doubtful that either of them would know the answer, but she still had to ask.

Watching from afar, Yana could only watch with her hands over her chest as a blonde girl and a veemon bravely fought off a Black Guilmon, there seemed to be a lot of them. She was impressed by the girl's strength, worried about everyone's well being, and completely forgot the most important detail: This was a battlefield.

Thus she was completely caught off guard when yet another BlackGuilmon rushed her from the side with its claws raised, "LOOK OUT!!", urged Ari, and Yana soon turned, her eyes going wide with dread as she saw the beast looking wild digimon upon her. In that critical moment, she completely froze, with none of her instincts her mother drilled into her able to save her. Instead, it was Ari who came to her rescue, jumping into the way, and blocking the claws, letting out a pain filled cry. She was knocked into Yana's arms and the tamer got knocked down on her back a few feet away, yelping and groaning in pain as the Guilmon readied its claws for round two.

"Ari...", uttered the bruised Yana, adjusting her glasses as she looked over her wounded partner. The mysterious ring on her neck seemed to have taken the blunt of her impact, and before long she had gotten back on her feet on Yana's lap, struggling free of her loving arms and onto the ground before her, growling at the enemy digimon before barking at her tamer: "Nana-Chan!! Snap out of it!", she called out, knowing she would need her partner's guidance. She was as much an inexperienced combatant as Yana herself, and if one of them wasn't enough, the two of them together could overcome this obstacle

One thing she knew for sure, Yana didn't want Ari getting hurt again. At some points it could be inevitable, but she would have none of it, and she certainly wouldn't let it happen due to her own weakness. With that resolve firmly in her mind, she looked at the enemy digimon as he approached the duo, and remembered some of the fighting abilities Ari had mentioned yesterday. The Black Guilmon had its eyes firmly set on them, and the dark haired tamer saw an opening, "Ari, Holy Shoot!", she called out, pointing at the foe's face, and Ari reacted in kind: The ring on her neck glew brightly and she spit a gleaming laser right at its face. If it hit, the light would not only hurt but stagger it for a moment, and a moment would be all they'd need, "Now, tackle it from below!!", she called out again, urging Ari to take the opening. Rushing at the hopefully stunned blackguilmon, she would leap up and tackle it's jaw in an uppercutting motion, hoping to finish the fight just as Yana got up from the ground...

The events of of Terabyte city was a blurr to Zachary, as he had stumbled into the digital world by pure accident. He couldn't tell if he was dreaming or not. The chaos, the destruction and the wide range of confusion in all directions was making his head spin. He might of been dreaming, but he couldn't tell. 

He had no digimon partner with him as he stood among the chaos of people and digimon running away. He had no clue what was going on. 
For him it was no different from a dream as he stood there, like a ghost among it all. The spire of destruction and events unfolding just was confusing him, his expression blank as he watched the events unfold. 

The best he could do was run, and hoped he would wake up-- reality making sense to him once more.

Well that was good news.

Hearing that he wasn't actually patrolling around, like cops often did, brought her some relief.

Although she was still going to be cautious around what she said, pleading the fifth and all.

While he was telling her his view on the situation, the blond's words were suddenly cut off.

And she could see why, after peeking her head out a bit from behind him. The tower was shaking.

A group of kids who were likely her age, was attacking the tower, apparently willing to sacrifice the Digimon and people around them.

They were probably trying to take down the bigger Digimon that had materialized, and was clearly in-charge of the other ones she and Kay had faced.

But even she could see it was a stupid idea. It was kids like these, that made her look bad in terms of maturity.

Sigh.

"Long as you remember you asked for this. Kay, hop off and get ready."

"Got it, captain!"

Although she couldn't see it, she knew that the blue dog had saluted her before hopping off of the motorbike.

Not bothering to wait before she could actually see the Digimon, she began swiping each of her cards.

"Digimodify. No.14 and 16, activate."

They were Goblinmon's Goblin Bomb and Tentomon's Tento Shocker respectively. Her last card couldn't be used due to it being built for close range.

The first thing she had seen, was a ball of fire, which Kay had launched towards the bigger enemy Digimon.

Regardless of whether or not it made direct contact like the dog had wanted, the attack would explode.

And shortly after firing that one, had came a surge of electricity. Not as fancy as the last, but it would help the monkey do it's job with fighting off the thing.

When they had stopped in front of the kids who had been attacking the tower, she had gotten off, with Kay joining her a bit after, panting.

"You three are making me look bad."
