SOUTHERN WINDS
He flew in from the south after a routine patrol. He had heard the rumours upon the wind: "Terabyte is falling", they said, as he made his gentle approach from below. "It will surely burn." He heard from out of nowhere. The rumours hastened him; and with the wingbeats of a thousand he flew east at breakneck speed, stopping for nothing. Whether it was he or the Hive forcing his hand this time was irrelevant: under the collective's will, they wished to see that a part of the Digital World was not destroyed -- even alone, he simply wanted to look upon the sight of a burning city as a kind of morbid observer.
It felt only a moment, with the adrenaline coursing through him, before he reached the outskirts of the Terabyte City skyline, looking upon it. A building had halfway crumbled, with a titanic metal ogre stood atop it, deflecting and trying his best to skirt around attacks suffered from every direction. The Shadramon stood for a moment and watched idly, his wings fluttering and twitching in the wind. The Hive urged him forwards; he took a step and it faltered, before bracing himself and standing tall, through the pain lancing across his head, quivering his body.
It was agonising, but he would resist. Today, he would not be a slave of the Hive. He simply stood in the wind. |

SHEPHERD OF FIRE
Riley, Kay, Jeremiah and Kong ride away through swathes of emergent BlackGuilmon before finally launching a whirlwind assault towards the Ginkakumon, the Monmon's size increase definitively noticeable, alongside Kay's card-augmented own assault. Jeremiah Regis Riley Knight
Blight's Biovapour has little to no effect upon Ginkakumon but ultimately does cripple the power of those Digimon attacking the Lightsworn at base of the Brooklyn Spire. Blight
Astoria and Nox are rescued and join the party of Damion, Silica and their Digimon, the BlackGuilmon swiftly deleted. Astoria Zenker
Yana and Ari delete the BlackGuilmon they have engaged with deftness, the bat and V-Headbutt working in unison. Yana Sekigawa
Haruhi and V also stun and delete the BlackGuilmon they too have engaged! Haruhi Ryuukami
Damion and Silica have successfully deleted the Devimon and assimilated its data before turning their efforts to the Brooklyn Spire's remains. (5 post bonus each) Silica Damion DeAndre

The building quivers due to the attacks of Adam, Remy, Renae, Keigo, and Anko below. The Ginkakumon looks down and grins. Wanton destruction, brought on by those who wished to see him defeated? These heroes were not hindering him, they were helping him! Anko Hiroi Adam Jackson
As the building teetered, Kong's Spiral Twister skimmed over him, grazing him and denting his armour; it shifted backwards, and the mixed Tento Shocker-cum-Goblin Bomb thanks to Kay collides with his flank, before knocking him directly into the path of Katsuo's Thunder Drill. The Ginkakumon staggers once more. And it all comes tumbling down. The building is sent crashing to the ground, beams splitting and suspension cables snapping, whipping upwards at a moment's notice. Rubble crunches, and within, as Katsuo likely escapes, the Ginkakumon descends through with a resounding cacophony, splitting the floors wiith his tumbling weight, his visage shielded from the world as he slid deeper into the ruined building's concrete bowels with a roar. The majority of the Brooklyn Spire slams into the Terabyte City road, not without catching a multiplex parking lot opposite and completely blocking a major city avenue, whilst likely dealing millions of bits in property damage.
A resounding quake shakes the city; before the remaining BlackGuilmon slither back into the sewers, whimpering, all Devimon shatter into data, and the last, final echoes of the spire's collapse settle. The city holds a moment of silence as it watches and waits: the longer it does so, the more its denizens believe that Ginkakumon, of whom there is no trace, within or outside the building, has been defeated... |

KNOW ME BY NAME
...they are wrong.
Out of the wreckage Ginkakumon emerges. An intact corner office of the diplomatic headquarters, in all its crumbled glory, has had its outermost precipices somehow left completely intact. Bruised, battered, sheared with broken glass, and with a tapered rebar spear embedded into his bicep, the Digimon clambers out, bloodied and laughing maniacally. Though for some reason, before one can see him, they can hear his voice, just those nearby, carrying with much less weight and sonorous timbre than before, and they would hear, if they grew just close enough, the dripping of blood upon a cashmere carpet floor struck with silt and ash. Why does he laugh, they would ask? Why does he bleed? Digimon do not bleed!
From out of the window Ginkakumon arises: no longer a Digimon. The man clambers out, a titan in his own right, stumbling and wounded -- wounded in such a way that most would be rendered unable to move, let alone climb from the wreckage of a toppled tower. Upon this uncrushed precipice he stands, bending his arms backwards and tensing his muscles, trembling with a cackle, before opening his mouth and unleashing a horrifying, bestial, guttural roar.
"TERABYTE CITY!" There is no mistaking his voice. This is Ginkakumon: but simply, now, in the flesh. A Spirit User. "If you wanted to see the true face of your assailant, SEE IT NOW!" Maddened, he casts his head from left to write with a snarl of absolution: the rage in his eyes is unflinching, and despite his crippling wounds, he still seems as if he would take on anybody; a behemoth of flesh and bone, standing almost seven feet tall underneath the beating sun and clouds of ash. "I am not a Digimon, I am a human, and people, citizens, FEARFUL FUCKING WRETCHES OF TERABYTE CITY, HEAR MY NAME AND COWER!"
"I AM DAICHI KUMO, AND WHAT I HAVE WROUGHT UPON YOU TODAY," He cast his arms out with a pause at the building, smearing blood with every somehow-steady step he took. "IS ONLY THE GODDAMN BEGINNING!" Daichi howled, looking up to the sky, underneath the beating sun, the ashes of destruction dusty and rich in the air. He drunk the scent in. By God, was it beautiful. "I WILL SEE ALL YOUR CITIES BURN, ALL YOUR FALSE MONARCHS FALL BY THE SWORD AND BLEED AT OUR FEET, BEFORE I AM DONE WITH YOU, AND YOU WILL WEEP KNOWING THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO."
"I am the WRATH OF A LAND WRONGED! I AM FREE OF MY PRISON, AND YOU ALL," He spun as he spat, the venom in his voice inflamed and strong. "WILL BOW TO ME AND MY KIND, WHEN YOU SEE ME RETURN." Another flash of light and he morphed again: his wounds instantaneously vanishing as he grew in height once more -- this time encompassing the armoured, shimmering form of a DexDorugoramon, grinning as he cast his wings of dread out asunder and hissed.
"THE SEVEN ARE COMING." It was a statement that would echo and wrack with terror the hearts and minds of all Terabyte City, all the East, and all the Digital World. With that, Daichi took to the skies in an instant, and launched himself upwards: vanishing in moments, becoming nothing but a purple-black blip underneath the sun.
A few more bricks from the corpse of the Spire shuffled themselves loose.

The attacks are:
DEATH'S HAND -- A simple yet versatile darkness energy attack, Death's Hand can be fired in a ball or a beam, and from one hand or both. No more than two balls or beams can be fired simultaneously, and firing two simultaneously will cause them each to be respectively half the power. Death's Hand will do an extra 25% damage against Vaccine-attribute Digimon.

TOUCH OF EVIL -- A melee attack wherein the user coats their hand/another attacking appendage in pure dark energy and slashes for the enemy at close range. If the user cannot do this for any reason, an ephemeral, ghostly hand will appear once the user is in melee range and slash for them. This attack will leave dark flames that burn for 1 post after contact. This attack and its dark flames will deal 50% more damage against Digimon of the Virus Busters family.
