AND SAY, HAH, WHAT I WANNA SAY tagged notes TADA! Thread up, hopefully its okay enough for you!
Health: 100% Passive // Time Roulette 1) Any cooldowns Wisemon has is reduced by 1, however the moment it is rolled all cooldowns are refreshed so that it may apply the reduction.
2) Any attacks Wisemon has that deal damage become stronger by 20%, making them hit harder.
3) Wisemon's attacks come out in doubles instead of one, without changing cooldown or post duration. However the second attack is weaker than the first, and any doubled effect move just makes the overall radius larger in combination.
4) Health is regenerated slowly over time. All moves gain an added effect of absorbing 20% of health from the opponent and giving it back to wisemon. - Combat Log - | He was relieved that he'd passed the first round. That battle was pretty intense of a fight, something he was very much underestimating, a thing he shouldn't have done when he signed up for the tournament.
The young male's heart raced as he walked into the arena, and he had to take a deep breath in order to calm himself down. The arena before had morphed into that of a sinking ship, and that part made him anxious to see what the arena would change into for this round. He paced back and forth along the ground, his foot tapping lightly on the occasion that he'd stay still.
No he wasn't impatient, he was nervous. What if he didn't make it this time? And if he failed?
No time to think about that. The floors began to shift and transform, and he immediately went into a fighting stance. His breathing slowed down, but was heavy. The arm he had covered in a golden sleeved gauntlet was out first, as if to defend himself from anything immediate. As the grounds shifted and turned, the stadium turned into a desert. He groaned loudly looked up at the sky as if pleading to some invisible force.
"A desert, really? So cruel." The only real interest he had from this were the dozens of pyramids strung about, and that made it at least a bit alright. "Its kind of just a... flat terrain. Workable but kind of boring." He crossed his arms for a second, before realizing he was suppose to look out for the second contestant and went back into battle stance.
He wanted to see his opponent first before making any decisions, being analytic could very well be useful to him in the long run. Of course, staying in human form at the time had its drawbacks he was fully aware of. It was dangerous. He could get severely injured. In hope, the young male immediately took out the golden sludge in his pocket and squeezed it.
The glow that came off the sludge fell limp, and he knew what that meant. A Numemon then formed from fractal data into existence, looking around as if to try and find an opponent to fling something at. He sighed. "Hey, hey, chill. Calm yourself down or I'll fling you again." Kiyoshi was very strict about this order, he would very well use this disgusting abomination as a meat shield if he needed to. After all, that was kind of what this Numemon was suppose to be in the first place.
Plus it'd be equally funny if he convinced someone he was a tamer with a poop partner. Oh man, the maturity is real with this one.

The first round left Blight feeling a little underwhelmed. Just before things got really interesting, the fight was cut short and the buzzer beat them both. His victory was further cheapened by the fact that he spent the majority of the match fighting a Rookie. Why his opponent didn't digivolve until the second-last turn baffled him completely. It was as if someone wanted him to move on, not as if he'd earned his win through wits or skill. He promised himself ahead of the tournament that he would make use of his head, which didn't exactly come to fruition in his previous battle. He went balls first instead and slapped his opponent in the face with them. Entertaining: yes. Great strategy overall...no. So this time, he decided that he would at least think about thinking. Or he'd put on a jock strap. One or the other.
Entering the arena, Blight encountered a completely different setting. Well, sort of. Instead of a graveyard, a desert met his gaze. Dry, no vegetation. Pyramids. Damn, this really did feel the same as last time, didn't it? The pyramids were basically mausoleums in their own right. Save for a couple of trees, he was still fighting in a similar, arid condition. He supposed the cover had improved a bit. After all, pyramids had a bit of height on your typical gravestone. Shrugging, he shuffled into the bowl. Unlike last time, he remained in his Rookie form, deciding that he'd let this new opponent initiate combat. 'I'm so fucking polite' he thought smiling to himself. He waggled his head and waved to the person standing across the way. Aww, wasn't that cute? 'Not gonna be polite to this kid's stupid ass, though. HAH.' Somewhere under his hoodie was a middle finger. Or two.
The crowd was more amped up than the previous round, signifying that the stakes had gotten higher. It was go time! Just as the Hazardmon began to prepare himself, he spotted something unusual. Was that?...Why yes, it was. A Numemon. So he was looking at a human with a Numemon partner? And this guy made it past the first round? He could almost feel a drip of sweat, not that he was nervous or anything. "Damn, you're ballsy, man" was all he would say. Slime Digimon like Numemon weren't exactly known for their strength or endurance. And yet these two had made it past the first round. He was obviously in for a long-winded match and this human - whoever he was - knew what he was doing. In all likelihood, this duo had been together a long time. Blight made this conclusion on the basis that no one in the known universe would display any kind of confidence with a fresh Numemon in tow. Experience could make up for a lot of things. Then again, he was getting a sneaking suspicion that this opponent had prepared a clever ruse.
'Stall fucking ballsy though. I'm gonna need that jock.' He wasn't kidding.

AND SAY, HAH, WHAT I WANNA SAY tagged notes Numemon doesn't have a lot of health because its a summon token. Kiyo will actually attack / digivolve if the thing dies.

4) Health is regenerated slowly over time. All moves gain an added effect of absorbing 20% of health from the opponent and giving it back to wisemon. - Combat Log - | Well this digimon certainly looked... different. Kiyoshi seemed a bit puzzled by the digimon before him, never once seeing a creature quite like it before. The Nuemon beside him got anxious again, and the only thing that calmed it down was the look Kiyoshi gave it.
It was simply just a token anyways, as far as he was aware the rookie-level slime wasn't actually a real digimon, even if it replicated a Numemon perfectly. However, a grin plastered against his face when the being infront of him gave him a response. "I try." Was his answer. They didn't seem to be attacking him or digivolving, and assuming they were at rookie-level by their appearance, he stepped back and decided to see how far the token could go before he'd need to digivolve.
"Okay Numemon, do your thing. Hollar if you need me." Kiyoshi crossed his arms, the metalic-coated one glistening as he placed it in a way as if to defend himself from an attack. He had a stance of a warrior, holding his digivice out of view within his crossed arms.
The Numemon let out a battle cry, before using its "Party Time" attack to sling poop at the masked dinosaur behind him. Kiyoshi noted that the mask would probably be an ideal thing to keep in mind, not that Wisemon had any gas-related moves, but gas probably wouldn't work against this thing if it was used.
At least with the initiated battle, he'd have an ounce of information from the creature before he got serious. No, he didn't have much faith in Numemon, it was a rookie-level and they were usually not known for their strength, only stench. Yet he found the idea interesting, anyone who actually had a Numemon partner was really fucking dedicated and deserved a gold metal.
"Good luck on the match. But, we shouldn't leave the crowd waiting any longer~" He didn't know if he'd get the same reaction he got last time, but he was certainly living up to his crest's expectations right now.

!! Was that a soaring shit? Instinctively, Blight rolled out of the way without a moment to lose, caching himself behind a nearby pyramid. He'd hear the soft squishing sound of the turd slapping against the stone facade mere inches from his face, something he wouldn't soon forget. Thank god his mask filtered everything he breathed in, otherwise he'd have gotten a noseful of feces. By the skin of his teeth, he'd narrowly avoided getting an everything-ful of feces. "Did you seriously just chuck a deuce at me?" the Hazardmon stammered. He peeked behind his cover to see the boy still standing there, smug as ever. Wait. Was that just a distraction? It had to be. Blight zeroed in on the Numemon, who was displaying more than a touch of reluctance to engage him. This was the look of a Digimon that knew it was cannon fodder. That being the case, what kind of conclusion could he make? Either this Kiyoshi guy was just psyching him out (hah, pun!) or he was gonna replace his partner mid-way through the match with himself. "If you're gonna fight dirty, guy, I got news for ya." One last warning. Blight was going to do a thing. A nasty thing. Volcamon did say that nothing was off limits, didn't he? Everything was fair game, provided they all remained at the Champion level or lower, right? So he'd follow that mantra until it killed him. Humans were like Champion level meatbags anyhow. He didn't see the difference. Blight got to his feet and veered around the corner. There were a few obstacles in his way, meaning it would be challenging to pick up speed in his current form. Then again, the last round had taught him one very important thing: don't wait to digivolve. In the seconds that followed, he triggered his evolution. A pale green light surrounded his body and began to alter his shape. He got a bit taller, a bit flowier. As the light parted, a new Digimon was revealed: Vitamon. This was Hazardmon's alternate Champion: one whose data had stabilized and created a healer type instead of a plague bringer. It was uncharacteristic of Blight to take this form, especially in a fight. To give himself the upper hand, however, he'd have to be clever. He'd said it before: he was gonna put on that jockstrap. Vitamon was his insurance. Since Kiyoshi, for all intents and purposes, was vulnerable, the new Champion Digimon decided to scare him with a move right off the bat. This would be a small sample of his skill, but enough to gauge whether Kiyoshi was crazy as he seemed...or as dangerous. A small thread of blood exited his right sleeve and weaved around his body. As soon as Vitamon commanded it, it lashed out at the human, aiming to pierce his neck. Blight fully expected Kiyoshi to do something nutty, so he kept his distance. Moreover, he anticipated that Numemon would re-enter the battle, so taking a hit would be likely in the following turn. 'I'm braced for it. I'm a doctor!' he mused gleefully in his head. 4) Health is regenerated slowly over time. All moves gain an added effect of absorbing 20% of health from the opponent and giving it back to wisemon. - Combat Log - | An overdramatic gasp cane out of Kiyoshi's mouth, a feigned look of offense plastered on his face, "Dirty? Why I neve-" he cut his sentence off as the digimon infront of him began digivolving. Either he felt really threatened by the Numemon token, or he was found out. If it was the latter...
Blood came down from the arm of the digimon, another peculiarity as beeding wasn't something digimon seemed to do. His suspicions were correct as something soon after came right towards him. Instinctively, the young male lifted up his armored arm to defend himself before it could reach his neck. A circular shield came up to protect him, blocking the blood whip, allowing it to ricochet off, as it was made of a material able to withstand ultimate level attacks.
"Cheeky lizard." He responded, lowering his shield slightly so he could peek out over it. The Numemon looked in his direction, but didn't move from his spot. Instead, Kiyoshi flashed his digivice at the lone digimon- his D-tector.
"Seems like the battle is worth getting involved in. At least I had my fun. EXECUTE!" He spoke some lines, winning the first round of the only tournament he's been in made him a but cocky. The haunglong shield retracted into the arm, just before he scanned his fractal data into the device.
When he emerged, a Wisemon stood in his place... Except it was champion level in power, compared to if it had been on a tamer. Kiyo grinned. "Let's get serious." Instantly, a gigantic book appeared behind him and its pages began flipping on their own. When it landed on a page, the digital inscriptions began glowing red before the book suddenly closed.
The Numemon appeared to take this as some kind of cue, throwing more poop everywhere in some kind of circle. It seemed extremely confused.
"Numemon's only attacks seems to consist of poo. He seems a bit hot too, hmm." Kiyo tapped his chin with is clawed hand.
"Hydro Water!"
He read the move out like a spell, and a puddle seemed to appear beneath Vitamon. Regardless of the situation to follow after, it was set off to shoot up into the air, propelled by concentrated pressure. |

Ugh. This guy was really starting to get on Blight's nerves. That's what he got for taking a cheap shot, he supposed. Tamers these days and their advanced technology...did it ever end? When they weren't on their cellphones, they were out...buying huanglong ore...and...constructing shields? Whatever, it didn't matter. His test made an important conclusion: Kiyo was powerful for a meatbag. More importantly, he was a Spirit User! No sooner had he deflected Blight's attack did he execute his spirit evolution. Wisemon felt like a strange choice for a spirit Digimon. Normally, Digimon of that sort weren't predisposed to fighting. It was becoming quickly obvious, though, that this new form had its own bag of tricks. The magic book in the spirit user's hands appeared to command some seriously strange abilities, one of which, after its incantation, compelled him to go on the offensive. 'I can't move out of the way. God damn' the Vitamon thought. To make matters worse, Wisemon also issued a counter-attack. So not only did this kid pull out a shield, digivolve, and read a book, he also had the gumption to use a horribly named technique to really get the ball rolling. "Damn son, you gotta work on those attack names. Fortunately, I came prepared!" Blight taunted. No need to panic! Reaching beneath his coat, he pulled what appeared to be an umbrella from his pocket and popped it open, facing downwards, without delay. His new weapon of choice was comically ornate (in a Mary Poppins kind of way) and bore a large red biohazard symbol. Just in case, right? 'Umbrella Corp. time!' he thought, his mind filling with glee. The Vitamon would then swing his prop at the oncoming Hydro Water, attempting grand slam it back into Wisemon's face. The sheer impact of the geyser forced Blight into the air, sending a wave crashing down around him. Much to his dismay, a tide of shit (courtesy of Numemon) came his way, slapping his shiny coat like chocolate milk. Blight was carried a few meters by the sudden gush of murky liquid, giving him the space he needed to create another plan. With any luck, Wisemon had actually taken damage from his own attack (and maybe Numemon, if the waves had reached the little slimeball). Blight suspected that this fight would go on quite awhile, as neither of them seemed to be displaying brawler tendencies. As long as he kept his ridiculous temper in check, Blight was confident he could stymie the academic Digimon a few times. At a minimum, he had Decontaminate in his back pocket, and a shit-ton of needles in his front. Tags: @kiyo Attacks Used:- Umbrella Corp.: Allows Vitamon the use of an umbrella for a singular attack. AND SAY, HAH, WHAT I WANNA SAY tagged notes Thanks Rei!
Health: 92% Passive // Time Roulette 1) Any cooldowns Wisemon has is reduced by 1, however the moment it is rolled all cooldowns are refreshed so that it may apply the reduction.
2) Any attacks Wisemon has that deal damage become stronger by 20%, making them hit harder.

4) Health is regenerated slowly over time. All moves gain an added effect of absorbing 20% of health from the opponent and giving it back to wisemon. - Combat Log - | "I'm only fifteen, you can't expect me to be that creative. Can you?" Was Kiyoshi's retort to the taunt, he seemed to be pretty happy when he believed that the other was going to take the full brunt of the hit. Unfortunately, that... didn't seem to be the case? It pulled out an umbrella from beneath its coat, an odd choice of weapon, before the creature slammed down on his water attack with it. The attack was reflected.
"Oh shitpaste." The young male swore, and he brought up his hands over his face to try and prevent his own attack from hitting his face at the very least. The move pushed him back pretty far, and when it was finished, he could feel the sting of it all over his body. The wisemon coughed some imaginary water from his lungs, before flicking his arms to get some of the liquid off.
"Okay I'm going to admit, that was worth it. Completely hilarious." He spoke with a grin and a bit of a laugh. Yes, this was a dangerous fight and he could very well die, but part of him was still a kid and he found endless joy from that umbrella trick. It also kind of reminded him of one of his own moves, and he moved to try and stretch out the pain wracking his body.
Reflexively, he popped up his spellbook again. If the move was like his Pandora's Dialogue, the umbrella wouldn't be able to block this next move. "Oncomes the sandstorm." He said, this time pretty vague. They were in a desert, which meant that he could perhaps maybe get a little sand in the other's eye using Sonic Void. This time, he whispered the incantation and from his hand, a tornado began to whip up within the area, using him as a medium in the center. Sand began to get itself caught up within the tornado, and the Numemon was comically trying to run away from the magical storm.
Once it was fully formed, the cloaked wizard flung it out towards the priest-looking digimon. It certainly did look like a sand storm, or a sand tornado. The only thing was, immediately after the first one was launched off, from the spot it had launched from a miniature version of it formed, heading right towards them.
'Well now I know what the book decided to give me' He thought, thankful to the gods above that he just used an attacking move. He was kind of curious to see how this person would handle his next attack, he seemed to be pretty creatively adaptable. |

"Aw, Christ."Apparently this kid was an elemental wizard. Not only had he mastered water and earth, he'd also learned how to command the element of shit, both in the literal 'turd floating in the toilet' kind of way and the 'uh oh, I'm fucked' scenario. If Vitamon's new smell was any indication, things were about to get a whole lot messier. The sand tornado heading the Champion's way was both formidable and disappointing. He'd point out the latter because his Umbrella Corp. technique was just as Kiyoshi anticipated: a move that required one turn in between use. It took a bit of concentration to pull a trick like that out of one's ass, after all. Sadly, Vitamon would not be Mary Poppins-ing out of that tornado any time soon. 'There's got to be a way I can use this to my advantage' he pondered. It seemed like, regardless of his reaction, he would be taking damage rather shortly. Wisemon's spell had been conjured up at a pretty good clip and impact was imminent. Moreover, he didn't have any disappearing moves like his other form. So headfirst it was gonna be! 'Damn, right when I was trying to be responsible.'
"Here it comes!"Vitamon was hurled up into the dusty vortex. His coat flapped madly in the wind, causing him to gain more air than he anticipated. He'd rip around there for a little while, which would be entertaining as shit if Kiyoshi was still watching. 'Idea!' he exclaimed to himself. Blight raised his finger as if he'd just gotten the most genius plan ever. At first, he appeared to whip around a bit quicker, though at a closer glance, he was centring himself somewhere in the middle of the second vacuum, which, although smaller, scooped him up as easily as the first. Without a moment to waste, he began prying needles from his pocket. "Vaccinate, ya bastard!" Blight cried. As mini-tornado number two sputtered out, a storm of needles came flying out of it and sprayed across the battlefield. With any luck, the sheer speed Kiyoshi's attack would ensure a successful hit - or, if he was really fortunate, a thousand more. The termination of Wisemon's hurricane left Vitamon a big heap of green flaps on the ground. That attack had certainly wounded him, despite his passive defence buff, and especially after he allowed himself a few extra moments to feel its second coming. Taking a bigger hit was completely necessary for his gambit to pay off, however, so he could only hope that it did. 'Man, if that guy's a Virus type, that would be sweet. I better have gotten him though, damnit. My fucking ass hurts so bad.' Blight returned to his feet after taking a bit of time to regain his faculties. If he wasn't so predisposed to sickness, he would have barfed already. He had to be prepared for whatever magic Wisemon dished out next. One good hit wasn't going to keep him down, was it? AND SAY, HAH, WHAT I WANNA SAY tagged notes Done on phone, rip. Nervada will blind upon hitting first. Kiyo is angry double rip. Health: 73% Passive // Time Roulette 1) Any cooldowns Wisemon has is reduced by 1, however the moment it is rolled all cooldowns are refreshed so that it may apply the reduction.
- Combat Log - | Kiyoshi was thankful that the storm had hit its target, however he was much more thankful that the Umbrella this guy used was just like he predicted: similar to Pandora's Dialogue. However, one thing he couldn't exactly do was keep a close eye at his spinning target, because while he could certainly try, he didn't want to feel dizzy or sick in the long run either.
So a genuine look of surprise overtook the Wisemon as the supposedly entrapped digimon began to spin faster, before assumedly launching towards the eye of the second tornado. His eyed widened with the other's retaliation, he dealt with larger are more hairy needles than these in the previous fight... However, he still didn't want to risk it, and these were most certainly going to ne an asswipe to dodge.
'Dammit, dammit, dammit!' He was being forced to think fast on his toes, whether he attempt to reflect with Pandora's Dialogue or something else. Ugh, the other was down but..
Kiyo brought his arms up to take the hit, and as he did so a buttload of pain errupted from his core. A scream ripped fron his throat, before settling into a groan and a look of uncharacteristic anger spread across the spirit user's face. It was fun and games until someone's hp had a rapid drop. "Fucking asshole!" He groaned, shooting his hand out towards his opponent: who appeared to be on the floor.
"Eternal Nervada!" He spoke out in a lower pitched tone, and from his hand a seeping black ooze seeped out. It appeared to bubble like tar, but instead of dripping it shot through the air. Its target: Vitamon. "Suffer." While barely auditable, the cloaked wizard seemed to be having some anger issues judging by its tone. He was hoping the damn umbrella wouldn't come back. As a result, he clenched his fists. The Numemon was also destroyed in the field from the spikes.
So instead he decided, if they blocked the black sludge, they'd be hit by two times the water. He flicked his wrist, and this time another puddle formed under him, but it seemed to be a much darker color, symbolizing the kick in of his passive. Should the first go up, a second less powerful one would shoot up again after the first one began dissipating.
Maybe it was pride, but he felt satisfied. |
