Plot Description: Botamon has gone missing and rumors are making the round of a dangerous predator lurking near the forest she usually plays at! Find Botamon before said predator finds him! During said mission you will be joined by Yana who will serve as a guide for the particular area of the forest and provide tips for the search.

Mission Description: Find Botamon missing in Nanosphere forests! You'll find he has been abducted by a powerful DarkTyrannomon, clearly stronger than average (between Champion and Armor Ultimate level). For some reason, he isn't attacking the young Botamon, simply keeping the baby level alongside him for mysterious reasons

Terabyte city again... It was cloudy but still mostly sunny, with the gentle breeze flowing through the air. Digimon and tamers alike all looked busy with shopping or random work, while others just walked around sightseeing. Yana was one of the latter. She toured around the city with Ari walking beside her, both impressed at how quickly the city had been rebuilt and was now completely returned to its former state. Even if those nasty memories of the battle she saw the first time here still haunted her - and likely would for a long time - Yana had stopped associating them with this city, at least the city was meant to be. That was the city she wandered today, looking for unique things to see and interesting things to see. But what they eventually found wasn't really unique or even interesting, just said and worrying. As they turned around the corner and the job board came into sight, they found a female Koromon crying out for help, desperately looking for a tamer who could save her child: "ISN'T THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME?! PLEASE, SOMEBODY SAVE MY SWEET BOTAMON!!" "What happened?!", asked Ari, running over to the Koromon on all fours as Yana quickly followed in a haste, just in time to hear about how Botamon had gone missing in the woods, between Terabyte city and the Nanosphere forests. "We can help! Trust us...!", said a determined Yana, with Ari nodding in agreement, both with a brimming resolve in their eyes. "Jus-Just the two of you...?", Korona was visibly uneasy at this prospect, sniffling as she looked at the kind tamer and digimon, yet even then she worried about their safety, and Botamon's. Thus she shook her head vehemently, "Impossible!! There are predators in that area, too much for even a single tamer!!" And thus they tried to convince the Koromon, but to no avail. She outright refused to put them all in danger together with her child by provoking the predator on a rampage. It seemed they'd need at least another pair of hands before getting anywhere...

Terabyte city, to think she would have gone back to this place... it surprised the girl a little. However, being that this was one of the few places one could get supplies there was no choice for her but to travel into the center of civilization upon the eastern part of the Digital world. Nevertheless, she had required a collection of materials, mostly food and tools for her journey, in the end the power of the mark was growing stronger by the day, and Reikiko was confident that she and Kuro needed to think carefully about the consequences that might represent. It was for that reason she had preferred to avoid settlements unless truly necessary, even if she had stayed out of troubles recently. Curiously enough she had just finished her shopping when the cloaked tamer overheard a cry for help, a cry she would have normally ignored if not for the familiar voices she heard. It seemed Yana and Ari were trying to lend a hand, but the poor girls were unable to convince the Koromon, causing the girl to turn her back at the group and start walking away, making the similarly cloaked Agumon follow her, a smirk upon his face when he saw Reikiko grasp her digivice, seemingly attempting to connect it to Yana's own, they did connect their data recently, so this would have served some type of use. "Hey Yana, I heard you and Ari need a hand. Kuro and I will be waiting for the two of you near the outskirts of the forest. Can't stay inside the city for long, I'll tell you more later." And with those words she proceeded to wander toward the edge of the forest, hoping that Yana would at least show up. She wasn't the type of girl who liked to keep a savior's deeds from being unrewarded, and Yana and Yusuke did help save her and Kuro after the Phantoms attack in Exalakes... so this would call things even...

It really wouldn't be easy to convince Korona to give her more details, not while there were only two of them, only one of whom could actually fight. Maybe Ari was indeed strong, but on her own, she couldn't be able to guarantee her darling Botamon's safety. In the end, salvation came in the form of a rather familiar beep, the digivice attached to her satchel's strap signalling another tamer trying to make contact... It was Rei. Using the attached, smartphone, Yana quickly whipped up a reply, after which she showed the message to the Koromon. The tiny Digimon's eyes visibly lit up at the sight, the message from yet another tamer - her digimon a rather well known fighter in the arena - being more than enough to reassure her of the prospect of these two girls and their Digimon finding Botamon and Protecting him from whatever hazards they might encounter: "Botamon likes to play at the edge of Nanosphere Forests. If you start your search there you might be able to find him easily enough.", Korona informed, "Good luck... I hope you find him!" Meanwhile, Yana's message informed Rei of her approach. Soon enough she'd be at the outskirts of the forest, though Rei would be nowhere to be found. But then, outskirts of the forest was rather vague; maybe she'd know more once her Digivice started beeping and she found the other girl's location... Maybe she would find them first? Regardless, she didn't want to start looking for Botamon until she actually grouped up with Rei; Yana did give the Koromon her word that she wouldn't look for the child alone...

Luckily Yana wouldn't need to wait long, for after she arrived at the outskirts of the forest a soft beeping noise would have come from her digivice, alerting her of Reikiko's whereabouts, and indeed after a few moments the girl emerged from behind a collection of trees, slowly removing the hood of her cloak that had concealed her features, and with a little wave of her hand she approached the girl. "Hey Yana~ Sorry about the secrecy earlier, but I didn't want to needlessly get you into troubles." The girl smiled briefly as Kuro seemingly was struggling to remove the cloak covering his body, and finally as a sign of giving up he simply scratches through the fabric, tearing it to shreds. "Finally free! Ugg Aneki, I hate shopping for supplies." The girl couldn't help but snicker lightly at the Agumon's protests, when she turned her focus back onto Yana. "It seems you needed a bit of help? We'll lend a hand~ Some dangerous and unsavory people have been showing up in the forest lately, and although Ari could likely scare the crap out of them with her strength, it would still be unsightly of me to allow such a beautiful lady like yourself to travel into the forest alone." Hearing those words Kuro turned around, humming in amusement. "Aneki's charisma level is rising over Champion level! is it already Ultimate?!"

The warning beep came not long after her arrival thankfully, Yana didn't want to hold back from searching for the lost child, not if she could help it anyway. On the other hand she wouldn't be able to forgive herself if botamon got hurt due to her not heeding the mother's words. "Good afternoon, Rei-san...!", Yana waved back with a cheerful smile, which promptly turned to curiosity as she cocked her head quizzically, "But, why all the cloak and dagger...?" She didn't have a dagger, at least not that Yana could see, but even then Rei was being awfully secretive. Maybe she was hiding from the Dark digimon who attacked them last time? Or perhaps she had gotten in trouble and didn't want anybody to see her? The black haired tamer looked pretty worried about the girl, and she had plenty of reasons to be given what happened the last time. "Good to see you doing better, Kuro.", commented Ari, nodding approvingly at the sight of her friend, no longer burdened by that overwhelming darkness. At least not the point when it affected his outward demeanor. "Stop that, Rei-san...", the shy Yana could only smile bashfully at her friend's playful flattery, looking away and fidgeting slightly, quickly trying to change the subject, "More importantly, let's look around for Botamon; Korona said he want missing around these parts!" Ari could only giggle at Rei's praise and more importantly Yana's reaction, nodding at Kuro's comments. Indeed, Reikiko's smoothness had defenitely leveled up one or two tiers at once, that was clear as day for anyone who bothered looking: "I see what kind of training you two have been doing~", she teased cheerfully, winking at the Blackagumon In the meantime, Yana was already going through the nearby shrubbery, trying to find any lead. She didn't find anything at first, neither did Ari, but little did they know there was indeed something to be found near this clearing... There would be large footprints belonging to a Tyrannomon, which Rei or Kuro might find if they searched away from the other duo.

"Puuh~ At least call me Rei-chan instead of -san, you're being way too polite." The girl giggled softly as she nodded slightly at Yana's suggestion for them to start their search. She could understand the reason behind the urgency, a little helpless baby Digimon in the company of a predator? That was usually stuff you'd only see in stories... horror stories. The girl had started to search around in the opposite direction of Yana, hoping to cover a bit more ground as the nimble girl searched amidst the bushes, for a moment even climbing into one of the trees as she spotted something nearby. "Kuro, come over here for a moment." The Blackagumon who had been snickering at Ari's jest had ran over to his tamer, rushing past the bushes as he realized what Reikiko had spotted, some large paw prints were left in the dirt, and Kuro had already an idea of what Reikiko would ask him, in the end his nose certainly was one of his finer features! "Leave it to me Aneki, I'll see if I can catch any scent of that little Botamon!" But was this the trail they needed? only time would tell...

Yana blushed slightly at her friend's comment, indeed she didn't know Rei that long in the first place, but still accepted her invitation, her lips brightening into a gentle smile, "O-okay, Rei-chan...!", she nodded sheepishly as she watched the girl go about her investigations. Rei was so much cuter like this when not involved in some vicious fight or struggled to keep her own darkness away. Yana wanted to keep her bright and cheerful like this as often as possible, thoroughly convinced this was who she truly was. However, how could she know something like this when she hadn't even spent that much time with the girl in the first place? It seemed like they could be good friends... But that would have to wait until they actually found a lead... Yana and Ari were coming up empty, but soon enough they both heard the other girl's voice calling out to her partner. Ears twitching, Ari heard it and immediately tugged her partner's skirt, "Nana-chan... They found something!" Nodding, Yana quickly turned around and skipped over to Rei, asking the girl and Kuro, "Did you find something...?", walking to her side, she would look down wide eyed at the massive footprints, "Think that might be our predator...? But then... Where's Botamon?!", she'd ask ominously Regardless, the two girls would follow Rei and Kuro, with Ari hopping over next to him, ready to use her sight and hearing to assist Kuro's nose, "Do you smell any Botamon...?", she'd ask him, also sniffing the air idly as they followed the Tyrannomon footprints... Regardless, Ari would eventually freeze in place, her hears twitching as she raised one hand in front of Kuro, "Stop! There's something up ahead..." If they all remained quiet and listened, they might be able to hear loud stomping sounds, like a giant Digimon walking around...

"Dunno, whoever... or whatever this scent belongs to seems to be quite strong, it's overwhelming the smaller scent so I can't figure out who the weaker scent belongs to." Kuro grumbled softly, a part of him being secretly excited at the opportunity to meet the creature that was releasing such a powerful scent, must had been a serious predator! However, as they were investigating the trail the sudden loud stomps had made Reikiko's eyes narrow slightly as she lowered herself toward the bushes up ahead, and with a sudden attempt to gently grasp Yana's side tried to lower the two of them toward a crouching elevation, whispering softly while making a hush sound. "Something is up ahead, let's try to spot them first so we can figure out if they are the ones we're looking for." It seemed Reikiko wasted no time trying tor explain she wanted to be stealthy, and while sneaking closer to the bushes she peeked through them, hoping to see if they could find the one the sounds belonged to.

Ari nodded in agreement to Kuro's statement, this was exactly the same problem she was having. Clearly it wouldn't be so easy to sniff out the Botamon, with such a massive Digimon wandering around her. Yana and Ari alike couldn't help be worried... Truly such a predator could be dangerous, but a Fresh Level digimon had hardly any data worth eating and loading. Why would it be targeted like this?! So cruel... Yana gasped slightly as Rei suddenly scooted closer to her and tugged her down behind some brushes, only to nod and fall silent as the other girl hushed her and pointed out that they should look out for whatever it was the took the Botamon in the first place. Doing so, Ari too skipped over to the two girls, peeking out through a hole in the bushes... And then she suddenly tugged on Yana's skirt, pointing somewhere, and the girl's eyes widened: "There, Rei-chan...!", she whispered to her friend, pointing at some trees further ahead. The trees did a good job at hiding the large digimon but with his stomping footsteps and the occasionally peeking scales they'd clearly be able to identify a DarkTyrannomon, "You think that could be the predator she mentioned?"

As the duo and their Digimon looked on to the large DarkTyranomon that was a bit further away the Yana's question caused Reikiko to frown for a moment. It was quite possible that this was the predator the duo was looking forward, what meant that the little Botamon might had been nearby! "Possibly, albeit if it is the one we're looking for, the Botamon must be nearby. How about I and Kuro lure the DarkTyranomon while you and Ari find the Botamon, Ari is more agile on her feet than Kuro anyway~" She smiled briefly, seemingly waiting for Yana and Ari to voice if they had any disagreement over her plan. If they didn't Reikiko would have pulled out her digivice toward Kuro and nodded her head lightly. "Time to taunt the big guy... Kuro Ankoku Shika!" The Blackagumon darted through the bushes, seemingly coated in a aura of black energy as his body started to shift into the large dinosaur-like appearance. The Black Greymon roared threateningly while glaring at the predator, a loud huff coming from him. "You look less impressive in the flesh pal!" Now hopefully his tamer's plan would work and the DarkTyranomon would take the challenge, so that Yana and Ari could find the Botamon and secure it before helping her best this predator!

Yana looked a little reluctant with this plan... She didn't like the idea of using her friend as bait like that, her doubtful eyes would show that much. But Rei seemed really determined do do this and Ari knew Kuro well enough to realize he was more than happy to take on the DarkTyrannomon himself and see if he could take him. In the end, Yana simple sighed and looked into her eyes, "Just promise you'll be careful!" And with this, Ari and Yana would walk away still under the cover of the brushes and steadily approaching the DarkTyranomon's previous hiding place. She turned back every now and then to look at Kuro's menacing Dark Digivolution, but she was more than impressed at his ability to remain somwhat conscious in that form... That Rei... What kind of training had she really been doing? Regardless, it seemed like his taunt worked as the Black Tyrannomon roared Menacingly, gathering flames in his mouth before violently shooting them at Kuro, promptly charging in afterwards... It would take some work on his part to keep this enemy distracted! Even with Kuro's Dark Digivolution, DarkTyrannomon was clearly stronger than a Champion level Digimon. Meanwhile, Yana had only just arrived at where DarkTyrannomon previously stood, and while the Raven haired tamer spent half her time looking around the place and the other half worriedly eyeing Kuro's battle, Ari was focus and determined to find the little fresh digimon in time to help Kuro fight the powerful foe... But it wouldn't be nearly as quick as that...

It appeared his taunt had succeeded, for the DarkTyranomon had unleashed a fiery breath at him, the flames rushing straight toward Kuro who grinned wickedly as he inhaled deeply and exhaled a torrent of fire of his own, the clash most certainly causing the point of impact to erupt into a small sea of flames, but to Reikiko's surprise the DarkTyranomon charged straight through the burning sea! It caused her partner to smirk confidently, for now he was certain Yana and Ari had the chance to safely look for the Botamon. In the meanwhile her partner steadied himself, feet grinding into the dirt as the large beast's charge was met with a full-body tackle of the dinosaur whose feral roar resounded through the forest, the Despair Roar likely stunning the dinosaur while it was trying to overpower Kuro, but at the same time also lower his offensive power enough for the BlackGreymon to be able to retaliate by brutally slamming his tail sideways in an attempt to hit the predator's face! Hope those two hurry up, this guy is heavier than most, and packs quite a punch also for a Champion! However, would Kuro be able to keep the predator distracted long enough? only time would tell... Nevertheless, he sure as hell hoped that those two would hurry up!

As the girls looked around for Botamon, Ari eventually perked up her nose, sniffing the air and narrowing her eyes towards a nearby tree stump, "Nana-chan...! I got something; over here!", she urge, urging her partner over with a wave of her palm. Curious, Yana disregarded the DarkTyrannomon for the time being (within reason since the two battling dinosaurs still made quite a ruckus), and walked over to the stump. Ari crouched and immediately her worried expression shifted into a gentle, heart warming one, "There you are~! We've been looking all over for you! Korona is worried sick you know?" Soon Ari had finally popped her head out from the stump, her arms cradling a still scared, but visibly calmer Botamon. She handed him over to her tamer's arms, her gaze growing serious once more as she now had a fearsome opponent to contend with... In the meantime, Kuro had his hands full. DarkTyrannomon stepping through the flames visibly hurt him, but not enough to actually wound him or stop his rampage. Kuro's Roar however, though not enough to stun the DarkTyrannomon due to his immense power, startled him long enough to allow him to land a hit on his foe. Though he was wounded, DarkTyrannomon was far from defeated and simply roared menacingly, far louder than Kuro did, aiming to stun him in return and charge at his foe once more - the Roar aiming to weaken his enemy's defense aside from stunning - opening his jaws, ready to chomp him. Yet a familiar glow from where Yana and Ari stood would be enough to reassure Kuro regardless of wether he took the attack or avoided it: Help was coming!

Unfortunately for Kuro the roar of the DarkTyranomon seemed to succeed in making the dinosaur stagger long enough for the predator to lash out at Kuro. While fortunately enough the dinosaur was more than capable of resisting the attempt to get his defenses lowered, the dinosaur soon found himself having the DarkTyaranomon chomp down onto his shoulder, making the Black Greymon let out a pained growl before inhaling sharply. He was going to make certain that fool would pay for the wound he had inflicted upon him. "DARK MEGAFLAME!" The roaring declaration of his attack was accompanied by a fiery breath of obsidian flames that at point blank would have detonated between the two of them, not only inflicting some serious damage onto the DarkTyranomon, but also cause the explosion to send Kuro reeling backwards into one of the trees that cracked under his weight, and judging from the pained grunt as the dinosaur tried to get back onto his feet, it had been clear he was struggling with summoning the strength to keep fighting... "Heh, about time you joined the fun Ari!" Grinning smugly as the flash of light came from nearby the large dinosaur was reassured that this battle would soon be settled with a score in their favor!

Indeed Kuro was right on the money. He had taken the hit but given almost as good as he took with a point blank dark megaflame, seriously wounding the DarkTyrannomon long enough for his ally to join in the fight. Staggered and wounded, The DarkTyrannomon desperately tried to return the attack just the same, once more brewing up flames in his mouth, a much bigger fireball than last time. It defenitely looked Dangerous!! But then, Ari came to his aid just in the nick of time, "Rosetta Stone!!" Hitting the Darktyrannomon square in the back of his head, the attack forced his jaw shut and all the flames he had gathered to explode inside his own mouth. Even if he was resistant to flames, that defenitely hurt and left the Dark Tyrannomon open for a finishing blow if Kuro was quick enough. In an attempt to help him, Ari unleashed her Queen's Curse, slowing down the enemy to make it easier for Kuro, "You're really helpless without me aren't you~", she teased her partner impishly, her Sphynx-like face keeping her from winking at him as normally might have... Soon, Yana would pop up from a few shrubs next to Reikiko, having gone through a heap of trouble to ensure she managed to reach the other girl without drawing the attention of the fighting dinosaurs, "Here he is, Rei-chan~!", Yana said with a visibly happy, chippery tone as she pet the Botamon cradled in her arms, visibly more reassured than he was before. Hopefully they finished off the Dark Tyrannomon before he realized something was amiss...
