SKULLGREYMON IS BREAKING APART!
@all One by one the Skullknightmon fell, leaving only the single commander on the battlefield. It seemed that this fight was won, thanks the combined efforts of everybody. Panthermon, Veemon and Guilmon, and Kuro given special highlights - along with the ongoing storm from Walter. (Zachary Scryer , Ryuu Oda , Reikiko Tsukino , Adam Jackson , and CLAIRE LYON received a bonus of 5 posts!)
@all However, the missiles launched at CLAIRE LYON were not deflected or defended against. One smacks against the city wall, issuing a large amount of damage and partially collapsing it, while the other hisses into the city, detonating in the background, leveling a few home-like buildings. It was certain there were causalities.
@all Everybody's repeated attacks on Skullgreymon's body break and crack his body, and his energy levels reach zero. Not even dark magic can keep him going at this point - it would only take a single strike to finish him at this point. It seemed like friendship and teamwork could prevail even over the despair of such a large enemy. Then - it happened.
Cyberdramon flew up in the air after attempting to convert the Skullknightmon. The commander saw what was coming, and jumped from the back of his siege machine as soon as the cybernetic dragon came down. He retreated, running away from the immediate area for the time being. The CYBER NAIL attack would directly hit Skullgreymon's missile pack - causing it to crack, and finally, become enveloped in nuclear darkness energy. This was the source of most of his power - the very thing that gave him such abilities - and it was just as volatile as one would expect from a bomb.
Upon making contact with the missile, it would explode, detonating at point blank range of the Cyberdramon and issuing a lethal amount of damage to him, and all those immediately adjacent to the Skullgreymon. While the others have a chance of escape, there would be no way Cyberdramon could escape taking damage from what was essentially a mega level detonation. @all As the Skullgreymon dissipated into data, the dark aura around the environment would gather up where the undead dinosaur once stood, then forming together into a large skull-like figure. This demonic image, forged from the shadows and plague, would gain two hollowed-eyes, before opening its mouth and slamming into the ground, sending out a piece of it to each every human and Digimon who participated in the battle. They would soon find their skin branded with a mark, and for the time being, it seemed as if the battle was over. An ominous laughter could be heard as the sunlight returned.
All participants in this thread have received a special bound item, as described below:
THE MARK - The Mark is a branding on one's body on their skin. This mark cannot be removed or deactivated at any time, nor can it be traded. There are only a few ways to purify this Mark, and traditional means will not work. The Mark selects somebody's soul for the taking, and will not stop until it has been claimed. This Mark gives one a 50% power bonus when using Dark Digivolution - but also haunts the marked with phantoms of all those they have slain in the past.
Every thread the user has with this item has a chance of being attacked by phantoms of their past, which will take physical form and hunt the marked until defeated.

DARKNESS CLAW - Assimilated from Skullgreymon. The user empowers one of his claws or hands with dark energy, and then swipes at the target with incredible force. If the target is data type, then it suffers a stun for two posts, being shocked from the raw terror of the attack. Darkness Claw has a cooldown of one post.

SHADOWY GAZE - Assimilated from Skullknightmon. The user empowers their eyes with a dark energy, causing all those who look into them to suffer a one post stun. If the target is data type, they will also become FEARED, dropping their attacking power by 10% for three posts. Shadowy Gaze has a cooldown of two posts.
All those who participated in helping stop Skullgreymon receive the following reward:
+15 posts and +500 bits!
