Hell hath no fury as a girl scorned!

An alarming report arrived from an outpost of the Watch inside the west. It first started with several reports of scouts having gone missing, but soon it turned worse, much worse... The signs were all there, the sky above Trecton city growing clouded as if something was stirring, and from the distant sandsea a figure emerged, then two and soon an entire gang had risen from among the sandy dunes.

If only they had realized that allowing Adam Jackson to carry out his little 'mission' to capture one he had once considered his friend, that the attempt to save her had led to a brutal retaliation from the girl and members from the organization she was part from. Indeed, as if the unknown fate of the Watch scouts wasn't bad enough, the Watch outpost, a large tower at the outskirts of the city had been discovered, and although several members of the watch were around, they would do little to stop the wrath of the Shin Sekai and its allies...

No, they needed allies, before the outpost would be decimated, and one could only hope they would arrive in time! For the one at the center of the group had raised an arm into the air, a seemingly ordinary gesture, but the mark that was glowing on the back of her hand, and the eerie feeling that lingered in the air would spell only disaster...

RULES FOR THIS OPEN CONFLICT MISSION ARE FOLLOW.

01. This Open Mission Conflict is open to anyone, as long as both sides remain balanced. People can make purchases and changes to their forms as long as the conflict didn't start (aka 3 initial rounds are over.)

02. Anybody who actively participated in this event receives a flat reward of 20 posts and 500 bits from the mission. The winning side receives an additional 10 posts

03. However, to win this fight either side has to accomplish two potential objectives: Defeat the opposing side's leader (Adam Jackson or Reikiko Tsukino ) and destroy/protect the outpost. There will be 3 rounds without any player conflicts initiated. This is to give everyone time to enter and prepare themselves/talk among themselves. After the third round Reikiko will post, followed by a Mod post that will initiate this battle and activate rule 4.

03b. Note, that in order to defeat Shin Sekai's side a certain requirement has to be met that will be shown during the 'start' of the battle.

04. You may post ONCE in this thread per ROUND, wherein a NEW ROUND is begun when the mod posts an update, which will foreseeably be under the account of Despair Sister . Posting TWICE before a new round will mean you will suffer a 100 Bit Penalty, so make sure you READ THE RULES.

04B. Each player has 48 hours the time to post, after which they are skipped. You can still post afterwards, but time will be considered as flowing onward, so you will need to react to actions involving yourself.

05. Try to keep the rule of sportsmanship in mind during this event, since I will be actively following up on this topic the lack of it might be to your disadvantage. Aka: be reasonable and play fair.

05b. If any arguments ensue over the battle and they can't be solved in a civil manner, please contact Despair Sister who will try to solve things. However, if staff is forced to intervene, note that their judgement is final.

06. The Mercenary organization known as Wild Cards will be able to receive a contract for this mission, the side that gives the contract being decided upon the start of the battle..

Adam knew that it would be only a matter of time until the Shin Sekai  decided to retaliate for Adam trying to capture Rei who seemed to be the most powerful among them. The first fight between the two hadn't gone that well for Adam and his twins but unlike last time they now had the ability to reach mega and also would have a team backing them up at least they hoped that they would. As soon as the distress call went out from the western out post in the sand sea the trio mobilized. Adam had both of his twins warp digivolve to mega so that they would get there a lot faster. As Adam road on Remy's mechanical back with Renae behind him he pulled out his digivice from under his shirt and connected it to every broadcast channel he could find that the watch had access to in hopes of reaching as many allies as possible.

"Calling all member of the Watch and all allies of the side of good! This is Adam Jackson! The dark group known as the Shin Sekai are attacking the matrix sand sea! They are the followers of the evil Seven trying to dominate your world! I ask you not as a leader but as an ally to come to our aid! If a digimon named FERGHUS is listening and if @dantelion can hear this message, come right away! This is our chance to show the forces of darkness that we will not take their abuse!"

Adam then cut off his call as they entered the area via the sky. What they saw caused all three of the trios eyes to go wide. They were facing an army! If no one else showed up to aid them they weren't sure if they could pull off this rescue mission. Not only did they have scouts to find but somewhere in that evil crowd stood Rei and Kuro who Adam had to admit he wanted a rematch against. As Remy landed to the ground in front of the outpost both Adam and Renae got off of his back. Adam then looked at both of his digimon with a serious expression.

"I'm not taking any chances this time. No holding back. They have forced our hand enough! Go ahead and combine."

Both digimon looked at one another and then at their tamer. They knew how high the stakes were for this battle but they also knew that they hated seeing their tamer being so serious. Adam just nodded at his digimon causing his digivice to glow bright green as both of his digimon were engulfed in green energy orbs.

"Metal garurumon dna digivolve to!.."

"Sakuyamon dna digivolve to!...

When the orbs mixed together and shattered, a new black winged leather clad large digimon was released.

"Beelzebumon blast mode!!"

Once the twins landed in their new form, they flexed their wings and grabbed one of the shot guns from it's holster and transformed it into a large arm cannon for their left arm.

"Things are going different this time."

"I just hope our back up shows.

Dantelion listened closely to the message a slow frown forming on his mouth. They had hardly been members a week. Already being called out to duty wasn't exactly desirable. "We are going though right?" Theos said questioningly. "It is Adam." Dantelion responded. He took off his kitchen coat and headed out the door. Theos following close behind. They headed into the elevator and down stairs. Dantelion waved to the receptionist. He then turned to Theos his grip on his digivice. It glowed slightly signalling his digivolution as an egg showed. "Digivolve to Maildramon.... You sure you want to fly?" Theos asked as he bent down letting his tamer climb on. "It is the quickest way." Dantelion said steeling himself. He closed his eyes and gripped Theos tightly. Theos took flight slowly letting his tamer get use to the feeling before speeding up towards the location of Adams digivice. Hopefully they would arrive before the battle started. Theos was far from the fastest flier though. Dantelion felt sick to his stomach as they took off. He refused to open his eyes for several minutes. Finally he opened his eyes and breathed deeply. He watched the horizon refusing to look down. Before long they saw the outpost over the sands. Theos metal was starting to get hot drawing in the heat. Luckily they were able to land in the shade before long. Dantelion looked around nervously. Until he spotted Adam. He looked at them for a long moment. Instead of approaching however he began making  rounds making sure the troops had what they needed. He could take some stress off Adam as he talked with the troops. Though he didn't want to approach Adam Theos did it for him. "Yo, we are here." Theos said smiling his tail becoming a lethal weapon as it wagged. Thankfully it was above most peoples heads.

I AM NOT A BAD MAN even though i do bad things Leyton crawled through the air conditioning duct of one of the bigger buildings in the outpost. He was rocking a tactical turtleneck kevlar vest, BDUs, and a pair of black boots. “The air duct is becoming ascension, just like in maximum overdrive.” he wailed continuing his trend line through the ducts. He would soon stop at a vent; that loomed over what must have been a computer room. He peered down at the military-Esq man sitting in front of what must have been the motherboard for the entire complex. "Hm, looks like the watch is lazy in defense. He turned on his flashlight and continued on his way in the vent before  locating another, this one was boasting with steam, a steam room maybe? He peeked into the hole and saw what could only be described as the rival of Valhalla itself, the women's shower.  "Wow, no wonder that kid is after Rei, these chicks are even out of his league." his eyes were glued onto the women below. "Wow, look at her! Gotta be double D. Whoa look at those. Damn I might have to join the watch one day." he snapped a few pictures with his phone. "Good for them."

Although it had been her first time visiting the Sandsea, Reikiko had to admit it was quite easy to navigate the seemingly treacherous desert, although she wasn't entirely certain whether her confidence came from the fact she had Kuro and Shademon by her side, or a small legion of companions. Of course she knew all too well that Adam had likely gained a lot of power in the short time that had passed since they last met, especially considering rumors mentioned the boy awakened a new power foreign to most of them: the ability to tap into the Mega tier evolution. That power was not something to laugh at, understandable that as a result some of the weaker Shin-Sekai members were slightly hesitant to participate in this conflict.

"Everyone, a moment of your attention please~"

The girl's voice was soft, almost cheerfully innocent and feminine as she turned toward her companions. It was a rather misplaced tone for one who was seemingly about to lead a force into battle. Then again, everyone knew the Champion of Triton had a peculiar personality in the first place.

"I know most of you are likely a bit nervous about the rumors that a Mega Digimon is among the enemy numbers. While it's true that such a enemy is a force to be reckoned with, I can assure you all it is no reason to consider them invincible. You're likely asking me 'why so confident'?"

The girl grinned from ear to ear, hands folded behind her back as she swayed lightly from side to side, humming in a playful tone.

"Let's just say I got some tricks to show, tricks more amazing than the stuff I shown you guys during the tournament finals. If you were amazed by me summoning a Skullgreymon, then just wait until you see this."

The girl slowly raised her shadow-coated arm into the air, the mark glowing brightly as her eyes twinkled with mischievous intentions.

"But before that show begins, we'll need to wait a bit longer. Can't spoil all the surprises, right?"

A wink followed as she lowered her arm, spinning around on the spot and looked at the outpost where the giant Beelzebumon was already visible, his imposing figure sending a shiver through some of the Kerai.

"Leave Adam Jackson and his Digimon to me, I'll ensure he will be plenty of busy. Goal is simple really: torn down that outpost in any way you want. Gotta teach those Watch people that we don't like having their people trying to bother our people. Kind of rude you know, one does not simply touch one of the Shin-Sekai family and expects to get away with it..."

She pouted briefly before adding with a jest.

"And believe me, Adam and his goons would likely touch me in very inappropriate ways... Would you allow a lady such a lewd demise?"

A chuckle followed as she turned toward a particular individual among the crowd.

"Ley-Ley~ Got some interesting news for you. Heard Lady Hummingbird is watching this event with great interest, so this is a perfect chance for Leyton Thomson to impress her. Not to mention, some of our scouts saw that Zachary Scryer is there. This time you can have as much fun as you want with him, just don't forget the mission."

The Shademon stirred lightly, making its eyes wander along each of the nearby participants while Reikiko hummed softly.

"Silly Adam Jackson ... If only you'd realize your power is superficial. It still pales in comparison to the power of the Seven, even my own power is a shadow compared to that of my master. But unlike last time I'm not going to be fooling around..."

No, this time she would make Adam learn it was time to drop with his feet back onto the ground! But she couldn't help but heard Kuro step forwards, championship belt around his waist as he asked in a curious tone.

"Yo, none of you guys are afraid of ghosts, right? Cause if you are I'm not gonna carry any fainted people nor clean any soiled pants!"

Still, a moment passed before Kuro turned toward Reikiko, sighing loudly.

"Aneki, he has gone off..."

The girl frowned lightly, looking among the crowd with a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

"Where did he go?"

"Dunno, he mentioned something about watching a women's shower room..."

Heaving a long sigh the girl shouted in annoyance.

"LEYTON! STOP CREEPING AROUND AND GET BACK HERE! Besides if you wanted to see someone showering you should have just asked..."

Edward had been walking around the base of the watch, interested in what this fraction had to offer in terms of strength and power. It was true that he was a member of the Shin Sekai, however that was loyalty in name alone. His true goals always overlooked his loyalties to groups, so he was always on the lookout for other, stronger fractions to join. Then he heard the call, from his digivice someone called out asking for help from an attack against the very fraction he was in. He smiled knowing that he wasn't known as a member of the Shin Sekai there so he would slip out of the enemy base. He had no interest in joining a war that he had no stake in. Though as he was leaving he saw something interesting, the boy named Adam, the one who called out for the help and an idea came to mind, a chance to earn extra bits for what he needed.

Walking up behind the man he smiled putting on an honest face. “You know your side is doomed, they outnumber and out gun you. While you have power.” He gestured to the mega level digimon Adam had. “You lack strategy and knowledge. This is going to be a blood bath, and you're going to watch everyone die, before they drag you away to be executed.” He stood right besides Adam and gave a coy smile. “That is unless you have backup that knows how to command an army and the weakness of the Shin Sekai. Oh, but where would you find someone like that? Someone willing to help what seems like a hopeless cause?” His right hand went to his side resting on the blade that he had, the very same blade he bought a few days ago.

His other hand went to fix his glasses before he spoke again. “Your digimon maybe strong, but you won't get far with it trying to protect you and trying to fend off that army. At best it will end up being a shield for you, an utter waste of it's power, but what if you didn't need to worry about being attacked. Oh that didn't cross your mind now did it?” He said with a chuckle, “you need a bodyguard so that your digimon can fight without worry. One that can stand up to the brute force of the Shin Sekai and keep you safe at the same time. So how about it? Seven hundred bits and you follow my orders in keeping you safe and I'll keep you safe from the approaching Shin Sekai army. This way you don't lose anyone willing to fight for you, you just hire an extra body.”

Slender hands, painted chocolate, bore into a bag of popcorn pressed to the chest of Obasi. Loosely gripped kernel’s fell away with each attempt by the boy to shovel more into his mouth. With a final gulp of the moderately cold beverage held firmly in his right hand, Obasi’s lunch concluded. At that exact moment, Rei ended her address to the members of the SS before. He never anticipated going to war with anyone, least of all other tamers. Not that he had any regrets mind you. Human and digimon life were not particularly sacred things to him, at least others anyway.

“Mega” Obasi spat out the word like it left a bad taste in his mouth. He couldn't stifle his own feelings of anxiety, so many of his opponents were veterans with scars and herculean prowess to prove it. “Maybe I will get lucky and I won’t have to fight Godzillamon or wtfever” A rather cynical tone spoke in his stead , because despite reassurances from others Obasi was a cynical kid. He had to admit the idea of fighting other tamers was thrilling, and fun. He’d always enjoyed PVP in MMOs, although; the stakes in this game were life and death. Still he would give it his all.

Zachary arrived, hearing the rumors of a group of heroes called the "Watch" floating in and out of Nexus. While he frowned on the concept of the 'digi-destined' in terms of theme and found it a bit of a cliche, he understood the desire to protect and serve as digimon tamers. He stayed true to that concept in his actions, even as a founder of Nexus-- a team he was proud to be part of.

For now though, Zachary knew some members of Nexus were there as well as this mysterious "Watch" group. He soon entered the compound where the others where, and they were in the middle of a discussion. It seemed there was a grim sense of dread in the air. People were already running and preparing to defend this base, as the forces of darkness were soon upon them. ANd if Zachary believed the rumors, it was runned by Rei-- and Leyton, the jerk of a bully who beat him in the tournament. He was a cruel spirit user, and despite Zachary's desire to fight him-- had no love for the man. Panthermon least of all how he threatened Zachary.

It was then Zachary recognized someone-- a friend he met in the jungle! A tamer with twin digimon.

"Adam?!" Zachary called out surprized. Though he ditched Zachary rudely in their first encounter, Zachary remembered the somewhat cocky tamer and his band of twin renamon. He was suprirised however to see them DNA digivolve into what was now Beezlemon. "Well... this was not the reunion I was hoping for. Seems you gotten to Mega Level too. "

Panthermon stood beside Zachary at the ready. Despite the threat of enemies fast approaching, he kept his cool and listened carefully to what was going on. "We heard of the threat approaching and we choose to come and help. Other members of our group is here as well. Are you familiar with them?"

Due to the nature of Nexus, being born from a website Zachary created, Zachary knew there were members out there he had yet to truly meet face to face, but he knew a good number of them were real digimon tamers and spirit users. For now though, he had to focus on the task at hand-- the danger closing in on them. He didn't want to hurt people, but they were coming to do harm to them and others depending on them.

He couldn't afford to let his kindness hold him or Panthermon back any more.

Well, Adam, I got news for you," Zachary said, reaching into his pocket. "We might not be mega level like you just yet-- but I think we got some tricks up our sleeves..." Zachary then pulled out a card from his pocket. Turning it he showed off its blue color back and front-- followed by the holographic symbol of the D-with a dinosaur coming out of it.

Zachary had obtained a Blue card-- the key to unlock the D-Power's potential and make a digimon digivolve to the Ultimate level.

Panthermon looked to Zachary and nodded. "We can't afford to be careful in this. Zachary, let me use Kagemon. " Panthermon said grimly.

Dropping his focus, Zachary turned to him with concern. "But-- But Panthermon, when you were Kagemon the first time, you went crazy. YOu didn't even remember me and almost--"

I know, Zachary. I know... but we have no choice. If the enemy is Leyton and others like him, we can't afford to hold back. I swear, I won't lose control this time. I won't forget my promise. Now promise me i can count on you," Panthermon said, in a serious digimon-tamer moment.

Taking a deep breath, Zachary nodded. "Alright... Let's do it."

Flicking the card into the air, the shimmering blue card flashed in the air and Zachary snatched the card out as it came back down to earth. With a crossing of his arms, Zachary held his digivice and card, and then brought the two together. The moment the card met the reader, light and energy screamed through the digivice, the screen lighting up brighter than ever before. Already, Panthermon could feel the power of the Blue Card-- the digimon's source code flood his body.

"Digi-modify!" Zachary shouted, the card crossing before him and he finally pulled the two objects apart, finishing the slash. "MATRIX DIGIVOLUTION!!"

Zachary's digivice in his hand suddenly flashed a blinding light from its screen and flooded Panthermon's senses with the new rush of energy. It went through his body, digging into his core and unlocking the darker power buried within. Panthermon's body was soon struck by the beam of light causing the area around him to glow with energy.

"PANTHERMON-- MATRIX DIGIVOLVE TO....!" From within a sphere of black,violet and blue energy, the form of him changed and the sphere grew, becoming darker and darker. Inside, his body became that of a two legged shadow, features shifting with the matrix of his body showing. After some time, features could be seen. Fur, clothing, a tail and yellow eyes as he stood tall and ready. Suddenly the sphere of energy was slashed open from the inside. First straight across, then several sections as if sliced by a blade.

It finally cracked open, revealing an anthro-tiger digimon landing on the ground as if he had jumped and crouched there. Flashes of black-lightning danced around him as he made a hand sign before him. "...KAGEMON" the tiger roared.

Zachary looked as the tiger digimon stood up before him. He didn't move at first and Zachary was worried. The first time Kagemon emerged, he had no memory being Panthermon, who Zachary was-- in fact was a hedonistic jerk who loved to fight and even cause chaos . It was as if he was a completely different person. Another persona to himself. Slowly, Zachary approached. "H-hey, Panthermon? Kagemon? D-do you know who I am?"

The tiger turned to the voice, looking through the corner of his eye at Zachary and made the human stop short in fright.

"... I know who you are," Kagemon spoke, his voice firm but sharp, almost impatient. "Don't worry. Still... I am going to enjoy this." The smirk on the tiger's face made it clear that the digimon was different now.

While it was clear that he did recognize Zachary as his tamer, parts of Kagemon's 'personality' was there-- at least the cocky-combat loving part of him. Kagemon might of been cocky and even annoying, but he was powerful and clever in his tactics. And when it came to fighting his enemies, he was merciless. It was what made Zachary afraid to resort to Kagemon unless they had to.

For now, Kagemon walked past Zachary-- but not before the large tiger reached a paw and messed up Zachary's head in a friendly gesture. Annoying, but friendly.

"Oh boy... this will not end well for either of us, Zachary thought, wondering if they would end up in hell, or if Kagemon would give hell to their enemies.

Kiss ✰ Me "I—I didn't..." Haruto shivered as he watched the news about what seemed to be an army making their way to attack this place reached his ears. "I didn't think we'd be facing trouble of this magnitude that soon!" He had joined The Watch not too long ago, merely because his friend Nikumo expressed some interest in joining and he had said that if she joined that he'd to the same. It happened exactly the same with Nexus, a really friendly organization that was meant to help lost Tamers find their way in this strange world made completely out of Data. Beside stood BashkarLeomon, the white-furred leonine-man staring into the horizon with hardened eyes. "Haruto, snap out of it." The harsh words of Havoc drew the human short, throwing him a wounded look; the Digimon looking back apologetically at his human partner in return. "Forgive me, but now there's no place for fear or hesitation, right now we need to stand sharp and ready in the case the enemy strikes. There will be time for the shock later." Havoc rubbed the human's back soothingly with his fleshy hand to try and calm him down a bit. It seemed to be working as the previous tension coiling across his shoulders relaxed minutely. "T-thanks, Havoc." Sending the male Digimon a grateful look it quickly morphed into one of determination. "You're right, we should get ready in case they attack us, now where is—" His question was answered as Adam and what he deduced as his Digimon partners landed a few feet away from them. "Hey, isn't that Adam?" He had heard of the boy in passing but never really approached him. Havoc merely looked at the feral human before his eyes widened at what happened seconds later. "Well... I'll be damned." He gasped slightly, feeling the power exuding from Beelzemon from all the way over where he stood. "A Mega level Digimon..." "That's a Mega Digimon!?" Haruto gulped, infinitely glad that Adam was on their side, he wouldn't dare to think that perhaps the enemy side also had Megas of their own; one was enough already even if it was on their side. "L-let's go over, yeah?" Seeing his Digimon nodded the two then approached the feral boy and his Digimon, seeing that he was already gathering a small group of his own; a bespectacled young fellow with a katana of all things and Nexus' leader with his partner, Zachary, and Panthermon! 'Though right now he's... a Kagemon he said?' Blinking his eyes at the sight he shook his head and approached his boss; Raion not too far behind. "You know, having you here kinda relaxes me a little bit." Haruto would say while giving a sigh. "Now if only Nikumo-chan was here, I'd be much better off." Strength in numbers and all that, meanwhile Bashkarleomon looked at the Kagemon with assessing eyes before nodding his head in acknowledgement.

The Sandsea appeared more tumultuous than usual, especially given the building tension on either side. Already, Shin Sekai and its foes (whoever the fuck they were) had amassed a number of allies for a little game of 'capture the flag.' Or rather, a larger, more deadly game of 'capture the Reikiko (and blow up some other stuff).' Unsurprisingly, the shit talk was already underway. Not blood was spilt as of yet despite the apparent drawing of the battle lines. Verbal carnage was the only warmup they'd get. Good thing the right guy was leaping headfirst into the fray.

Enter Blight. And zingy comments.

'Eugh, god, I've never seen a more pathetic bunch. I don't have to look at them to know they suck. And the plot? Good Guy Plot (TM)? I'm grading it a solid B-. No, y'know what, a C. A fucking C. For Crap. Why do the hero-tamer types come up with the dumbest shit? Does it circle around their heads at night? Bring them comfort? Like, more comfort than a bag of Play D'oh's worth? More comfort than a couple of frolicking puppy videos for their simple minds? The sheer hypocrisy, too, is overwhelming. 'Hurr durr, I'm gonna make off with a Shin Sekai member. It is totally within my moral grounds, as a good guy, to forcibly remove someone from their place of residence.' I mean, what if she was having a bubble bath? What if that's what was interrupted?' Gasp! An outrage!

Sporting a much shinier look than usual and a fantastic, ass-grabbing bodysuit, Nukemon made his first appearance before the bad guy crowd. He'd chromed the heck out of his new digs, making it hard to stare at him directly. His posterior in particular had a gleam that compelled one to smack it. He would invite anyone from Shin Sekai to go ahead. Undoubtedly, it would please him. In any case, he reconvened with his group, listened to Reikiko's spiel, and got a glimpse at the looming boss battle in the distance. 'Beelzemon, eh? What's he doing pairing with those slimy fucks?' A fair question, especially given that Remi and Renae would have had to DNA to achieve this form. "Twincest" he whispered, nudging his butt into the side of a nearby Kerai. On the bright side, Blight knew most of the people he was fighting. Some of them, he'd actually fought. Experienced dude among the bunch? Fuckin' EH. The (still) sparkling Ultimate had more than a few tricks up his sleeve, all of which his leader would find useful during the imminent clash of clans.

Nukemon cast a flirtatious glance in Reikiko's direction and struck a pose. "Ain't nobody laying their mitts on my lady. The rest of you fucks understand?" Blight turned on his heel and pointed to the crowd. Somehow, he found himself near the front, assuming the role of General Sexy Pants for the benefit of the group. If she wanted, Reikiko could demote him, or incinerate him (again, like in the tournament) to shut him up. Hopefully she'd enjoy his enthusiasm instead.

Inside of the outpost, alone in the woman's bathroom; a single individual stripped of her clothing was standing in the shower rooms, letting warm water drizzle her. Honestly, Nikumo had been not sure what to think when they first got the message that enemy forces were dwelling and appeared to be planning to attack this outpost. Now to be frank, the girl has never been involved in anything remotely "war-like" in anyway, so you'd think she'd be scared shitless. In truth however, the girl was mostly just... empty inside. She had thought a warm shower would ease her worries, but it almost felt like they were only being amplified.

"Are you frightened dear?" A voice would say from across the room. Out of the waters' reach, staring eerily at her nude tamer's form; a Pilomon was on the floor, a smug look on the mammal Digimon's face.

Nikumo took a deep breath, the almost boyish girl not even bothering to look back. Yes, she should be frightened... there is so many things that could go wrong here. This wasn't some practice fight... this legit life or death. "Yes. I am."

"Are you afraid to die?" Nyx would ask once more, her voice sending a shiver down the girl's spine.

"A little, yes."

"That is good, to fear death is the step towards knowing how to live." The Rookie level would say, seemingly fine with that answer. "It's a lil' exciting, isn't it? We're going to war. Against actual tamers, spirit wielders and the likes. And they all will be out for blood." Nyx would say with a very chipper tone, unlike the circumstances she was describing.

"Have you ever experienced what it is like to end someone's life Nikumo?

Nikumo remained silent. This seemed to force the Pilomon into a loud chortle. "Heheh, all is good dearie. Is just a joke. Let's just try not to die... mmkay?" Nyx replied to the tamer's silence. "Get yourself ready. I'll head outside with the others." She would say before heading out of the bathrooms, leaving the girl to herself.

Nikumo turned her gaze towards the drains that the warm water was flowing down into, letting out a sigh. "Try not to die. What a fuckin' joke." She would say to herself, spitting into the drain. Her life felt like a comedy show at times.

"Oh mai~ you're being quite protective of me today Blight."

The girl hummed playfully as she stepped beside Blight, a hand raised to try to gently pet the Digimon's head while the other gently trailed her soft fingertips alongside the edge of the mask, whispering in a soft tone.

"Hopefully you'll be just as vigorous when those fools at the other side join in. I think they are going to be quite obsessive with me..."

The girl whispered the last bit as she rose back onto her full length, eyes cast down toward her shadow-coated arm. She could feel it, just a bit longer until she had finished her preparations for the conflict. This would become the perfect example for both Adam and those who thought like him: that there was no opposing the Shin-Sekai, nor was there any chance of saving her. A brief glance was cast along the others. A younger member of the organization, one she had not met before seemed to had some reservations about facing Adam and his Mega Digimon, making her smile calmly at him as she replied cheerfully.

"Don't worry about Adam and his gunslinger pet, I did mention I had a surprise to show, one that will be ready soon. If Adam doesn't want to get his life forfeited the moment we enter the battlefield he is gonna need to focus entirely onto me."

Of course she did realize that the numbers on her side were a bit... questionable at best. A flock of inexperienced Kerai, likely a miniature fanclub of her 'Shadey' outfit were rallied to her cause, but the true force behind this group was clearly Kuro, Leyton and Blight. Still, she had send a call to CLAIRE LYON hoping that she would answer her request for aid. Surely an attempt to kidnap her would not go unpunished? Maybe Astoria Zenker would even join in on the chaos!


Still, she idly tapped her foot in the sand, hoping that Leyton Thomson was at least smart enough to return to their side before the conflict erupted entirely. The last thing she wanted was for the fool to get caught up in friendly fire! Now THAT would have been a bad scenario.

"Aneki, how are you feeling?"

Kuro's worried voice drawn her thoughts back to reality, lips curving up in a grin as she hummed softly, clearly pleased at something.

"It's going perfect Kuro, I'm feeling neither any strain upon my body, or resistance from 'that'. I believe it shall take us only a few more minutes before I can show them my 'present'."

A wink followed for her raptor, who sighed softly as he turned back to look at the battlefield with a long sigh. He didn't like this at all, the idea of relying upon a power like that of the mark in order to prepare 'this'. Hopefully it would be a decision Reikiko wouldn't come to regret, because otherwise she might had been in an entirely different league of troubles!

Adam and his combined digimon couldn't help but smile as not only Dante and Theos but other tamers like Zack and a nice pink haired man and all their digimon showed up for the fight. It was nice to see that the wild boy and his team had such friends who were ready to put their lives on the line for the cause. As they gathered around him and without a word Adam went around and hugged all the Tamers starting with Dante,Zack and then finally the pink haired man. He then climbed on top of his mega level digimon's shoulder and let out a loud whistle.

"Guys, before all the dung hits the fan I just wanna say thank you to you all! Dante, Zack and Mr.Pink haired man I thank you all for showing up! My twins may be mega level digimon but against an army of this size they mean nothing! Only together can we save this world from the darkness and Hatred that the seven and their evil group are trying to bring to this world! Today is a big day not only for us as tamers and digimon but as citizens of this world! This is our home! Let's show these evil bastards that no matter how many of them they are they will never be able to oppress us and take away our freedom!"

Adam then raised his fist to the air and let out a loud cheer causing the combined twins to do the same. Adam then hopped down from the twins shoulders and stuck his fingers in his mouth to make a soft whistling sound.

"All tamers gather round. Those of you who use those modify card things step forward. We will be facing foes that have the power of dark digivolutions, spirits as well as modify cards of their own! The leader of the dark forces name is Rei. Her digimon's name is Kuro. As far as I know he can only reach ultimate. The real trick with facing Rei is the fact that not only does she use modify cards but around her body is a shademon. Shademon's are monsters that latch onto people and corrupt their souls but also act as a body guard and weapon. Do NOT approach her with anything less then a champion by your side! Another thing to remember when facing Rei is that thanks to the god Plutomon she has the ability to summon forth a skullgreymon to fight for her!

Rei isn't our only major threat however. I have no doubt in my mind that a man known as Leyton is on their side! This man is an extremely dangerous spirit user. The biggest issue when facing this man is the fact that he will not hesitate to attack us human tamers! If you plan on engaging him with your digimon, tamers stay back! The biggest piece of advice I can give you before we fight is this! Stick together, watch each others back and most importantly do NOT show any weakness in front of the enemy! We are not fighting for ourselves today but for the digital world itself!"

The combined twins stepped forward and cleared their throat.

"When out on the battle field, you all should use a buddy system. When engaging an enemy it's best to out number them and claim victory quickly before they have a chance to regroup! We will be covering you all from the sky. Our best chance is to pick off the small fries, Rei's generals and then finally when we are all grouped up we take Rei herself! Today is the day to use your best cards, your strongest forms and all your tricks. Today victory will be ours. If any of you have suggestions, we are open to them. We do not fight for ourselves but for you."

As his twins finished their speech,Adam moved over to the man who had offered to sell his protection.

"If the speech wasn't a give away, I don't need your protection. I've got my family so you can go sell your protection somewhere else."

Adam then moved over to Dante with a blush.

"Was the speech okay? I came up with it last minute."

Dantelion listened to the speech. Despite the cheers there was a pit in his stomach. Something he couldn't quite shake. War was a dangerous thing and would not be nearly as easy as Adam had made it sound. "You did fine." He said his voice smooth despite his nervousness. "I don't doubt they have plans of their own though Adam. You have a good plan but things could go south quickly. I hope you have several more." "Don't be a pessimist. In the end things will work out. However we do have to be careful. If anyone feels overwhelmed they should fall back and catch their breaths." Theos said with a nod. At least Theos slightly agreed with him. Dantelion's nature must have rubbed off a bit. Though his wagging tail was still an indication he was happy for the chance to fight. Dantelion was still wondering which form might be better for battle. Everyone was certain of themselves. Dantelion though he was simply a worry wort. "Sorry, I don't mean to rain on the parade. My mind tends to over work things." Dantelion said sighing. "Nothing wrong with that. Though I did get to thinking I can't fight beside you if I'm in the air and you're on the ground." Theos said. "You want to fight in your other form?" Dantelion said questioningly earning a nod. He supposed it would be better if they remained closer to one another. He nodded in turn as well. He touched his digivice watching his evolution change. First to Theowmon then to Lergedmon. Theos let out a snort and smiled. This was much better than his hot metallic form. "We'll teach 'em to mess with our friends." Theos said his tail now sweeping the ground and stirring the sand.  For once Dantelion thought his tail may come in handy. Stirring up a small sand storm to blind enemies. He simply smiled and nodded in agreement at Theos words.

I'm not a good guy I'm not a bad guy I'm the guy “Damn it’s hot in here.” he fanned himself still looking through the vent, most of the beauties had left leaving only one. She or… He was lanky, but female regardless. Leyton took a few more pictures, before putting his phone away. “Why is it hot in an AC duct?” he quietly coughed shifting his position to go back the way he came. His turtleneck was on fire! The heat making his dizzy, “The AC is still becoming ascensioned!” he crawled through the system. After a few minutes of crawling he arrived at the shaft of one of the stackheads of the system. His gloves stuck to the aluminium walls as he shimmied his way up and out of the stackhead. “Phew!” he wiped his head and took off his turtleneck, now only wearing his kevlar vest. He threw his garment over his shoulder and pulled out his phone. “Heh, helloooo ladies.” he flipped through his phone’s photo gallery, “This will make for good black mail material just in case I see any of these ladies.” He ran off to the edge of the building and front flipped into bushes below. His rubbed his gloved hands together and ran as fast as he could to the side Rei was on. He had caught a sample of Adam’s little speech when he was on top of the building, this poor kid was going to get killed. “Ooooh Rei!” he waved to the shade covered girl. “I’m back, let me tell you I got some sweeeeeet pics. I mean, Let’s kick some Adam! Yeaaaah!” he would hop onto a nearby parked car and flexed his arms “This is our house now!” he bellowed to anyone who listened.
