CHAPTER I: VENI, VIDI, VICI: Zachary Vs. Jeremiah

Jeremiah watched as the attack went into motion. It was too simplistic, but he doubted Kong himself could come up with anything better. So he watched and waited, knowing full well that his opponent was smart enough to counter such a basic move. And Jeremiah would be ready with his own counter. There was a large flash of light, and the Mytholomon suddenly became much larger. The goliath card, Jeremiah had that one himself. If they want to play that, so be it. He swiped the card himself, Kong growing as well, both digimon becoming extraordinarily large. His force would increase as he fell, and Jeremaih would put that to use. He had three cards left, and it was time to break this shield, and break this digimon. As he saw the shield start to glow, there was no way Kong would be able to dodge that in time. He would have to endure it, though it would be extremely powerful. Card number Three. Owryumons Golden armor coated Kong, and his defense was drastically increased from the Gold Digizoid plating. He wrapped his wings around himself, dropping like a cannonball as he felt the blast from the shield shoot forward. Even with the Red Chrome digizoid, this wasn't the first attack the wings had taken, and this attack proved too much. Though they absorbed the majority of the blast, they did not survive, disintegrating as he fell closer and closer. The golden armor itself managed to hold up, and Kong took minimal damage from the technique. The next card showed itself as he unfurled, a massive greatsword aimed straight down, the weight of it pulling him down even faster. Minervamons greatsword, a massive weapon of destruction. This combined with his last card, adrenaline, increased his power even further. Jeremiah narrowed his eyes. This would be the final attack. From either side. Kong laughed as he felt the weight of the greatsword in his hand, and the power of Adrenaline coursing through his veins. Kong heard the yell of Mytholomons tamer, calling out another digimodify. He never understood why people telegraph their attacks. It makes them so easy to counter. As the words left Zacharys mouth, something left Kongs mouth. A scream. Dissonant Scream was ready to be used again, and he made sure to use it. The hideous, ear piercing wail erupted from his mouth, much like last time. Unfortunately for the pair just below him, this was an extremely close range, and powered up by two cards. He would follow this up, pointing his sword at Mytholomons maw as the digimon aimed towards him. As soon as the digimon had shouted his attack, Kong knew what he needed to do. He activated monkey furnace, becoming a blazing ball of fire. While it wouldn't negate the effect of Frozen wind, it would prevent him from being frozen, allowing him to continue through the damage. Whether or not this attack worked, it would be the final bout between these two.

The clash between both empowered Mytholomon and Targetmon was going to end in a rather all-out clash as the cards were stacked and triggered, each tamer using their best power ups to strengthen their digimon. Both of them were king-kong size, armed with weapons, including their extra weapons. Things were clashing and the crowd was cheering for both of them. As the two collided, the beam from the aegis shield indeed caused damage. Zachary felt even with the added armor, a powered up attack like that would still deal harm.

"HANG IN THERE!!" Zachary roared as Mytholomon blasted Targetmon with his ice breath attack as well-- trying to freeze the flaming over powered monkey.

But then came the lady killer.

BAK-KAAA!! The stupid Targetmon released his shrieking attack that caused another disorienting blast of sound rocked the area, easily effecting Mytholomon. A growl escaped Mytholomon from the disorienting pain of the attack to come, even worse the sword of Minervamon-- that Targetmon was now holding was coming to try and strike him! Disoriented, he could become easy prey, even while Targetmon had been assaulted by so many attacks.

It was the final clash as Zachary gripped his last card, the only card he could use to still do some difference in the battle and possibly save his friend! As the effects of the sound waves began to mess with Zachary, he slashed in one last card.

CLANG!!

The impact was hard, even forcing Mytholomon back and onto his side. The stupid monkey was strong and struck with the sword-- however, Zachary used one last modify card on him...

... dawning Mytholomon with a strange black coat and a sword suddenly in his mouth. Though disoriented, even thrown down, the mysterious black jacket like object was draped over the shoulders of Mytholomon, covering him save his wings of fire. Mytholomon's hide was saved by it.

He was now Mytholomon-- Bancho mode.

The card Zachary used was Bancholeomon-- giving Mytholomon the legendary lion's sword and jacket. And the jacket itself was a form of armor, capable of absorbing damage of the opponent's physical strikes.The sword attack still hit, but not nearly as bad as it would of been if Mytholomon had been without it. 

Mytholomon was thrown back and stumbled due to so many forms of attacks, both physical and of sound orientation, but he still fought to stand, the large cat still trying to keep in the fight. They were up against the wall, but Zachary's last ditch effort was to use a new piece of gear and power to try and stop Targetmon.

But that was the last he could do as the timer for the fight was almost up.

It was a close call, neither the audience or anyone else able to give an opinion of who could beat whom.

While Targetmon had plenty of extra powers, Zachary and Panthermon working as a team used strategy and situation to their advantage. The end result could be anyone's call.

(OOC: Digimodify 4/7. Used Bancholeomon-- gave him special sword and coat that absorbs opponent's physical strikes.
Will have staff decide if Final Elysion and Frozen Wind did lasting damage to Targetmon. Including Bancholeomon's gear effectiveness. Since fight is nearly over, no more attacks will be deployed. Either way disoriented from the howl. Stupid monkey ><  Suffered damage but still willing to fight. 


Also pardon if any use of cards were incorrect. Edited to make things a bit better. )
