[attr="class","textieno"]Adelaide jolted awake, her wide blue eyes shifting around, taking in the tan walls of her room. Her heart beat erratically in her chest as she gathered her bearings. Her gaze fell on the desk beside her bed before flicking down to her violet-colored sheets. Her eyes rolled back as she let out a sigh, falling back against her bed. She was home...[break][break]

"A dream...all of that was...a dream," she murmured, eyes fluttering closed momentarily as she relived the various flashes. Finding the egg...Patch digivolving twice...no three, four times. A fiery monster, a Lynxmon? And another digimon, "Loweemon," she whispered. And all those people and their own Digimon. Addi groaned and pressed the palms of her hands into eyes, scrubbing harshly to create crazy patterns behind her eyelids. [break][break]

A shuffling in her blankets caused the teen to start and open her eyes, only to be met with molten eyes. Addi blinked before a scream was torn from her mouth. The small BlackNyaromon tumbled back with a startled cry before hopping back up on his tamer's lap. "Addi, what's wrong? We came through that computer!" he said, motioning with his black-and-purple dashed tail.[break][break]

Addi swiveled around, before scrambling out of bed and over to the laptop on desk. Flipping the lid open, her eyes flicked around, blue-grey orbs dancing around to see anything out of the ordinary but all of her tabs and her desktop picture were the same. A picture of her mother and step father at the beach a few days before she left. Addi pressed back into her desk chair, eyes widened, chest heaving as she practiced taking deep breaths.[break][break]

Her partner nudged her hand softly, amber eyes shining with worry. Addi picked up the tiny black cat, smiling softly as she petted him from the top of his head down to his tail. "Wow, you are real..." she whispered. Patch just beamed a Cheshire-cat smile. [break][break]

"Yup, did you really think it was all a dream?" he asked, tilting his whole head, well whole body slightly. [break][break]

Addi frowned, shaking her head. "I don't know..." she whispered, eyes roaming until she found the small purple device beside her cellphone. A resounding knock caused the teen to start. "You have to act like a stuffed animal!" she hissed at the in-training before tossing him onto her bed and bolting to the door. "Good morning, papa!" she exclaimed. [break][break]

"Oh, good you're up. It's almost time for school, tesoro," her father said. She nodded and replied that she was getting ready. She closed the door, sliding against the smooth exterior, breathing a sigh of relief. Her eyes zeroed in on Patch who was looking at her solemnly from her bed. Making her way back over, she sat down and set him in her lap. "Listen, we have to be really careful. We're back in my world...I'm...I'm not really sure why, but you can't act like your normal self. I have to get ready for school so stay here and I'll be back." Without another word, she gathered her stuff to get ready. [break][break]

Addi sighed as she glanced down at the map in her hand, a rudimentary outline of the campus she had just been enrolled in. Thankfully she was finished for the day and could head home. She quickly made a stop at her locker, grabbing her cellphone, digivice and converse shoes, trading them out for the slipper ones required by students to wear. She quickly grabbed a few books, preferring to hold them since there was a sleeping digimon in her bag--which he had done surprisingly well when fed about every twenty minutes--and headed out the door.[break][break]

As she headed out of the campus and past the front gates, her eyes darted around, wondering where the sleek black car that had dropped her off earlier was at. Just then, a beeping sound caught her attention. Addi glanced down at the small white phone in her hand, but it's screen was clear of any notifications. The raven-haired tamer only groaned as the beeping continued. She fumbled until she clasped her Digivice and sure enough, Patch was jostling around in her backpack. A small red dot had appeared on her digivice.[break][break]

"Addi, there's a Digimon," a voice whispered. [break][break]

Addi rubbed her face before shooting an annoyed glance at her partner. "And what exactly am I supposed to do about it?" she said. She winced afterwards, thinking her tone might be too harsh. [break][break]

"Probably go find it. It might be a rogue Digimon. Wouldn't want it to hurt any of your human friends, would you?" Patch sing-songed. Addi just groaned before glancing left and right . When she didn't see her ride, she dashed across the road and towards where the signal was leading her.

It's rectangular in shape, and cracks on its leather cover hints at its age. It is otherwise clean, however, and bears a shiny golden hatch for its lock. Nothing too special about it. [Phone] - A typical white smartphone of the newest generation, equipped with the latest functions. Its impeccable exterior and decorated cover shows its owner's care and love for it. If one opens it, they will find that the device has a different UI as compared to others of its kind. [D-3 Digivice] - A standard white and purple D-3 Digivice. It looks almost brand new. [Towel, Handkerchief and Spray] - Lavender coloured and scented towel and handkerchief paired with cleaning spray. Stains on the towel shows its use for cleaning objects, while the handkerchief shows impeccable care. A name is stitched on in what seems like cursive. Perhaps its owner has some special appreciation for it? [Pen and Notebook] - A white and purple notebook with a dark blue ink pen attached to its side. Its pages seem a little worn, and notes are messily scribbled on the inside. Sticky notes adorn the book, stuck haphazardly onto its pages. [Wallet] - A white leather wallet. Its contents are neatly organised, cards and pictures on one side and cash on the other. Some stickers on the front hints to the wallet's meaning to its owner. A name is scribbled on the front in neat cursive - 'Alexiel'.

Time to go to the real word, everyone Was he happy about this turn out? No. Was he going to make full use of his situation? Yes. Due to...circumstances, Alexiel found himself in the capital of the 'Land of the Rising Sun' - Tokyo. And he didn't like it. Travelling meant access to the computer, and by extension the digital world, was restricted. It was limited to whatever his schedule for the day was, whenever he could stay at the hotel, which unfortunately for him was a no-go for that specific day. Due to his parents' 'wishes' that he mixed in with the locals and made some friends, he was practically kicked out of the luxury hotel, told only to return when sky was dyed red with the setting sun. He wouldn't be allowed back otherwise - it was bad for him to be cooped up in any room for too long, given his rather anti-social tendencies. So he agreed, so long as his bodyguards were not to tail him. He could, after all, take care of himself, and the Japanese city was a relatively safe place. What could go wrong? He probably shouldn't have asked, because just as he was enjoying the peace and quiet that the solitary route he had chosen gave him, his digivice had started its alert system. "What now..." He groaned, pulling out the little handheld device. He had been planning to use the day to unwind and relax, a welcome change from the past week's hectic lifestyle. He didn't want his chance to rest to be ruined now, but what if it was important? "Just a wandering digimon..." "Who could probably be a danger, or a rare specimen. It would be wise to check it out, tamer." A second of static and the screen faded to a dull black, with one of his digimon smack center in the new visual. "It would also be good practice for us should it be hostile. Perhaps you could you use it as a figurative punching bag?" "Hehe, I second my brother's idea! It'll be fun! Come on little 'lexy~ Let's play!" And there was the other one, cheerful voice ringing through the empty road. She always cheered him up, even if a little annoyance followed. "...Fine." He relented - it was hard for him to say no to his only friends - and began moving in the direction of the little red dot on the screen. Before long, he found himself staring down a little black dinosaur. "It's a...BlackAgumon...?" We'll see you back in the digital world soon

"I-I'm sorry," she said, thankful that he was speaking English. "My partner gets a little excited." Her blue eyes flicked around, looking for the boy's partners. She had heard voices, right? "I'm Adelaide and this is Patch." [break][break]

Addi's eyes found the BlackAgumon. She knelt down beside him, giving him a pet on the head. He was very pleasant and seemed sweet. "So, is there a reason you can't go back?" she asked. She was only vaguely familiar with the Digital World, having just woken up this morning thinking it was all a dream. [break][break]

"Er, well you see. I was kind of chased here. I was living in the canyon and I was chased by a Tyranomon. And, and I don't wanna go back!" Addi was taken aback suddenly, wondering how the Digimon got here. He must have stepped through some portal or something, but to hear that he was being chased was awful.[break][break]

"Well, maybe we could try to help," she muttered, glancing up sheepishly at the boy. [break][break]

"We can beat up a Tyranomon!" Patch chimed in, which just made the teen roll her eyes.

Welcome to Terabyte City! "Hmph...And what of?" Alexiel didn't mean to be rude as he shifted his gaze to the BlackNyaromon to answer it. It was simply how he was. "You have a tamer as well, is it really that surprising to see another tamer around?" "Another tamer?" Leila's excited voice rang from the digivice - right, he forgot the two were listening in. At least it seemed that Vesper had to sense to remain quiet, unlike his siter over there. "Lexi! Be nice and say hi! C'mon! He ignored her high chirps, instead focusing back on the stray digimon when it's belly rumbled. "S-sorry!" The digimon squeaked - surprising for his kind. They tended to be...rather hostile, or at least all those he's come across thus far. "Erm...I got lost...and I haven't had anything to eat..." It wasn't his problem, the digimon could find food on its own. All he had to do was return to the digital world, which would be simply done by asking one of the tamers. Leila, however, thought otherwise. "Lexi! Food! Give food to the digimon!"  "And that's assuming I had food, which I don't. " Mild irritation filled his voice, but his displeasure wasn't directly towards Leila, rather it was towards the problem that had arisen. "It'll be far simpler if you went back to the digital world. It's far safer and-" What Alexiel wasn't expecting, however, was the screeched that interrupted him as the agumon leapt away. "No! I can't go back yet! I have to stay here!" ...Huh...? What could be so important that the digimon refused to go back? That was...strange. "Why?" Was the simple question asked, to which the BlackAgumon bashfully turned his head. "Erm...well, you see...I..." We hope to see you again!
