Sand Between Our Toes [Faust]

[attr="class","textieno"]Adelaide hoisted her bag onto her shoulders, adjusting the weight. Her blue eyes sparkled as they flickered over the shifting waves of the sea. For a moment....just for a moment. she could swear that she was back in L.A. on the beach with her family or taking  a school field trip. However, sadness flooded through her veins and she let out a sigh, but glanced down at her side where her partner, a BlackGatomon stood, tail flickering. [break][break]

Addi smiled softly as amber eyes met her own blue ones. "It's like a giant litter box!" Patch quipped. Addi laughed at this, but blinked and shook her head to clear her thoughts. She didn't really want to think about Patch....uh, doing litter box things all over the sand. Especially since it was just a clean, pristine white beach. [break][break]

"Right..." she drifted off. "Well c'mon. I think it will be nice to enjoy a walk on the beach." They were currently taking a detour before heading to one of the other cities, where Addi had been informed a tournament was occurring. What would a little trip to the beach hurt?

Edward wasn't a beach goer in the human world. It was always too crowded and way too loud for his tastes, however here in the digital world it was a different story. There was no one as far as the eye could see and he took advantage of that. Parking his bike in the sand he laid down in the soft white sand under the shade of a tree and closed his eyes enjoying the tranquility for a bit.The sounds of the waves crashing on the beach and the fresh smell of salt air calmed him so much that it didn't take long for him to fall asleep. Not knowing that someone was coming towards him on the beach. Adelaide Winters

[attr="class","textieno"]Addi and Patch made their way a little closer to the shore line, but her partner made sure to stay away from the water, being a cat-like Digimon and all. She smiled as he carefully avoided the ever-flowing tide. They finally found a spot that seemed appropriate for a rest, under an outcropping of rocks that gave some protection from the hot sun, however Patch opted for sunbathing.[break][break]

He sat up, sniffing the air as Addi brought out some food to make lunch. She glanced over at her partner, eyebrows furrowing uncertainly. "Patch?" she asked. [break][break]

"I think...I think I smell another human and digimon, Add," he replied before sniffing again. Addi frowned, wondering what type of person or digimon might be out there. [break][break]

"Well, maybe we should leave them alone for right now," she said, turning back to the lunch she was trying to make. When she lifted her head back up, she could see her partner's retreating form, tail flicking high as he stalked silently down the beach. Addi let out a cry as she pushed up from the blanket and stumbled after her partner. "Patch!" she cried. [break][break]

Sure enough, just a few yards away, the BlackGatomon came across a human, however he did not see another Digimon. He stood a few feet off, sniffing in the air, golden eyes narrowed to see if this human posed any threat.

Edward was still sleeping soundly under the tree without a care in the world at the moment. The sounds coming off of the waves had drowned out the noise cries and sounds from the two that were going towards him. The black square glasses hung low on his face almost slipping off. There was no sign of distress on his face, he appeared to be sleeping soundly and was at peace with the world around hm. His katana was propped up against the tree in plain view for all to see. He was soundly sleeping away even as the others got closer. It would take something more than just getting close to wake him up right now. Adelaide Winters

[attr="class","textieno"]Patch stalked down the beach with his young tamer running after him. What could be so interesting at the end of the beach? He had shown aversion to the water before, but now he was getting a little closer.

Patch skidded to a stop, kicking sand up as he got closer to the human who was resting on the beach. The sand rose up in a wave before crashing down onto Faust. Addi's eyes went wide as she saw where her partner had went. "Patch!" she cried, slowly approaching . "Leave that guy alone," she chastised, trying to be quiet, her blue eyes darting down to look at the guy.[break][break]

She bit her lip and frowned. Hopefully the guy wouldn't wake up to see a shy teenage girl and her weird cat partner standing over him. "C'mon!" she urged the rookie, but it was no use as he began sniffing around the human boy. It was strange for him to see a human, but he smelled like a Digimon when there was no Digimon around.

[Faust]

He heard something while he slept someone called something out. In his sleep he realized that he wasn't alone anymore, his eyes bursted open as he saw that there was a digimon sniffing around him. A black version of what looked like a gatomon, he didn't make any sudden movements as he slowly moved his hand to grab at his katana still resting on the tree. He could feel the hilt of the blade in his hand and in a quick motion pulled the blade out of it's guard and rested it before the gatomon's neck. “Who are you and why are you here.” He said in a cold and stern tone, not noticing that there was a female tamer nearby.
