[Fear immunity up to Ulti enemy] Battle Synopsis▪ ▪ 72% Experience until Ultimate 218/300 Posts▪ |  Silence... an eerie silence lingered in the air as Reikiko found herself wander along the lush landscape surrounding the Exalakes. Although Kuro had been accompanying her like usually the duo wasn't saying a word, and even physically there seemed to be a certain 'difference' in the girl. Perhaps it was the fact she was now wearing a long cloak that covered most of her body that had been the sign that something was different, or perhaps it was something much more sinister. "..." Kuro's gaze drifted warily toward his tamer who was seemingly searching for something. If only he had been stronger... if only he had been able to protect Reikiko at that time, then perhaps 'that' would have never happened. It was a thought that plagued his mind when he spotted his partner stopping near a tree, causing Kuro to ask hesitatingly. "Are you still... Aneki?" The girl turned her head sideways to the raptor, lips curving up slightly as she spoke in a cheerful tone. "Something like that~" The playfulness with which she replied to his inquiry unnerved him, and yet he knew he was helpless to do a thing about it. Lowering his gaze to the side in defeat he asked her with a hint of curiosity in his tone. "Why are we here?" It was a question she expected, but the girl merely chuckled as she seemingly found the thing they were looking for, a hand reaching into the hollow trunk of a tree and pulled out a small object. "You'll find out soon, let's say I brought a little present for during that upcoming 'festival'. In the end we'll need to have as many weapons to our disposal as possible if we desire a chance to become victorious" Still, despite those words the moment he saw the object his eyes widened in disbelief. She had to be kidding him, to discover 'that' in a place like this? Such knowledge was not without Reikiko's reach, no there was no doubt that the smirking lass before him... was much different than that. "I promised I would follow you till the end of time Aneki, as long as you don't cease to be Aneki." The sorrowful tone of the Blackagumon caused the girl to crouch down before him, a hand raised to pet his head while she whispered softly. "I'm still myself Kuro." However, when he caught a glimpse of what was hiding within... then one could be sure as hell that he didn't entirely believe those words! Nevertheless, it was unfortunate that all he could do was wait and see, in the end this was the choice Reikiko had made herself, and he did promise that he would stay at her side no matter what would happen! "Do you think we'll win with this?" Kuro's question caused Reikiko to ponder for a moment, seemingly thinking about the matter when she finally hummed cheerfully. "We'll have to wait and see~ but I'm confident we'll stand a chance, and that's all we need" ---- Part of this story will be revealed after a certain topic is done. |
