king of all When the world burns, will you look to the skies, where the fire rains, or look to the people who put it out. + condition: perfect! + passive Gorilla Warfare: -25% boost to all abilities. + passive Slumbering King: 3 royalty stack + passive Mindless and body: immune to mental effects, 1 post less for physical status + D.A.T.S ability: +20% to all stats.
+ attack: | Kong was already at the other side of the Arena by the time Hyde started talking to him. His fur puffed up in anger though, not appreciating how Hyde had called his tamer a coward. This person thought he understood Jeremiah. He had no idea. Jeremiah was no coward. Jeremiah just had faith in him. He knew that Kong could take down these two KnightChessmon without any help from him, and that it would be good training. Kong had tried to be nice, to let the tamer go, but insulting his master was too far. Jeremiah had protected Kong. He had given Kong everything he needed to win. And yet Hyde still had the gall to insult him, even after Hyde had let his digimon be beaten.
And then he had the audacity to say he would give him the win? As if Kong wouldn't be able to beat this idiotic human. He was going to just let him walk away, relatively unscathed. But now, he had annoyed Kong. Let's see how tough this idiot really was.
Kongs only response to Hydes question was a low growl, and a glare filled with nothing but pure hatred.
Jeremiah had been patched up, and was watching the battle from the spectators stand. He watched Kong defeat the last KnightChessmon, and deliver the Motimon to Hyde. He already knew Hyde didn't deserve the generosity, and he showed that soon after. It may look like Jeremiah didn't care about Kong at all, but he knew Kong could beat them, and that to help him would have insulted his pride. But this time, Jeremiah would step in. He could see Kongs rage, and decided that it was time to put it to use. He held his iC up, a purple glow coating his hands.
"Kong. Digisoul Charge."
A large blast of purple light coated Kong as the digisoul charge took effect, his rage manifesting itself. An aura of anger, increasing his power, all solely to be used as a weapon against this human, this useless tamer who let his digimon suffer, for insulting the man far greater than Hyde would ever be.
Unfortunately for Hyde, he was too late. He had left Kong with stacks of Royalty, and with two extra weapons. Digisoul Charge, and Crouching Monkey Hidden Monkey was ready to be used again. As soon as Hyde called draw, Kong disappeared. Completely.
He quickly sprinted around the Arena, leaving his position and zigzagging around, before stopping behind a tree. He climbed the tree, before leaping to the top of the Shrine, landing without a noise. No movement had been made from the tree itself, and without extra sensory perception of some kind, it would have been almost impossible for a simple human to track him. Three stacks of Royalty left. And it was time to use them all.
He drew his slingshot, and aimed. Sniper shot activated, and he used his first stack of Royalty to activate its special function, creating a homing effect on the pellet. Even without the homing, Sniper Shot was an extremely high velocity, high powered attack, doing significant damage, and with the added homing, it would take a combination of extreme skill and luck to dodge.
He used the last two stacks of royalty as he released, the pellet coated in a golden glow, leaving a purple after trail as the energy from the Digisoul imbued it with even more power and speed. The stealth wore off, and if the attack hit, it would do double damage from being used during stealth. He had aimed at Hydes head, and had positioned himself on the right side of Hyde, where the eye patch should have created a large blind spot. This was the final blow, and Kong couldn't wait to get rid of this pest.

There are many things to expect when fighting a digimon. But he hadn't expected this. When he heard that familiar voice, he looked over, seeing Jeremiah standing outside the barrier, his device glowing. "You damn bastard!" he hissed. The damn tamer had effectively quit to get his injuries (which Hyde had inflicted) healed, and now he was jumping back in? To top it off, he was standing outside the barrier where Hyde couldn't hit him. There was a reason he hated the DATS. They employed cowardly bastards like him. By the time he looked back, the monkey was gone. Dammit! He had gone invisible! Hyde's eye roamed around, trying to find any indication of where the ape would be. The it hit him. His eye patch. Shit!He looked to his left just in time to see the supercharged attack approach, and reacted the only way he could, by bringing his arm up. The attack struck him dead on in the arm, launching Hyde back against the barrier. His vision was blurred by the sudden impact, as he tried to regain his senses as to what the hell just happened. As his vision cleared, the first thing he saw was his arm. His now mangled, twisted arm. The pain suddenly came rushing to him, and it was all Hyde could do not to scream. He looked at the monkey which had reappeared, glancing at the smug tamer standing on the sidelines. That damn shot had been aimed at his head, AGAIN! This two bastards were out to kill him. Jeremiah had been pulling dirty tactics this entire time! The pain Hyde was feeling turned to rage. He gave that monkey his respect, and this is what happened! He was going to turn that damn ape into digi-dust, and then he was going to put that smug bastard into the ground! With a roar of fury, he brought up his remaining hand, datagun clenched tightly, and opened fired with wild rage, making sure to adjust his aim for any movements that damn monkey would make.

king of all When the world burns, will you look to the skies, where the fire rains, or look to the people who put it out. + condition: perfect! + passive lock on: +25% accuracy against Hyde. + D.A.T.S ability: +20% to all stats.
+ attack: Shrapnel Shot | Jeremiah wiggled his finger at Hyde, tsking at him. "You shouldn't get distracted in a fight." A cruel smile twisted his lips, as he watched Kong disappear. Bad move on Hydes part. Extremely bad, it seemed. He couldn't help himself, he burst into laughter when he watched Hydes arm get mangled by Kongs attack. "He gave you a chance to leave, and now look at you."
His laughter soon faded as Hyde pulled his gun back up, and started firing at Kong. This was just childish now. Victory was clear. And yet this idiot still kept going. Like the roach he was. And now, Jeremiah was sick of him. Even a roach can't last forever.
"Congratulations, Hyde. You have achieved one thing in this fight. Not by skill, not by strength, not by speed, not by intelligence, not by any useful skill. Simply because you are too stupid to realize when you have been defeated."
His digivice glowed again, the deep purple glow of his crest coating it, before Kong started to glow as well. The little monkey let out a screech, his body glowing and turning incorporeal. A split second later there was a bright flash of white light, and in his position, a Targetmon stood in his place.
He let out a primal scream, before breaking out into hideous laughter. A soft red glow enveloped his visor as lock on came into effect, targeting Hyde.
"You made me use Kongs Champion form. And now, you are going to pay for that."
With no more speed debuffs from Royalty, and increased abilities from burst mode, Kong leapt forward, charging straight at the human. The bullets pinged off of him, the weak gun having little effect on the champion level digimon. As he got closer, he pulled something off of his belt, and held it to his head.
He threw it, the Shrapnel Shot flying over Hydes head, and landing just behind him. He lit his last two, throwing both of them as well, one landing on each side of Hyde. Just before each one landed, they exploded, surrounding the area Hyde had been standing in in a storm of fire and metal, superheated shards of shrapnel flying around the Arena.
Kong simply sat there, laughing maniacly as he watched the beauty going on in front of him, completely ignoring the shards of shrapnel that were cutting into him. The pain would end eventually. But this image would stay locked in his eyes forever.

Hyde didn't even respond to Jeremiah's words. Instead, he was more watching the digimon in front of him digivolve into his campion form, the monkey digimon Targetmon. For a very brief moment, Hyde's anger faded and he wondered for a brief moment why anyone would design a digimon that wore shoes for gloves. It was just weird. Of course, that brief moment of curiosity cleared Hyde's head enough when Kong suddenly charged. The bullets were bouncing off of him like nothing, as to be expected, but Hyde was not going to give up. As he saw Kong reach for what he could assume was some sort of grenade, he broke into a run, charging straight towards Kong. As the three bombs flew, Hyde closed in on the ape, before, much to everyone's surprise, he jumped up. Vaulting himself right over Kong's head. "Surprise Cockfag!"Hyde landed in a roll behind the ape digimon, (which hurt like HELL considering his arm), just as Kong's Shrapnel Shot's exploded. And wouldn't you know it, the monkey proved to be a useful meat shield for the flying shrapnel. There was a reason why humans were higher on the evolutionary ladder. However, Hyde wasn't going to take the time to gloat. Keeping himself bent, he broke into a run, his pain and rage providing fuel and speed as he closed in on the real target. The smug ass tamer sitting behind the barrier. With a roar of fury, not unlike that of a demon, Hyde launched himself towards Jeremiah, fully intent on bringing his ass to the floor. Jeremiah Regis

king of all When the world burns, will you look to the skies, where the fire rains, or look to the people who put it out. + condition: perfect! + passive lock on: +50% accuracy against Hyde. + D.A.T.S ability: +20% to all stats.
+ attack: Shocking grasp
+ attack: monkey see monkey do
| Kongs Visor glowed again, the Lock On focusing on his opponent even more. He watched the human run towards him, even as he threw the explosives. That's alright. The explosives were just some fireworks. It wouldn't be fun if that killed him. Kong readied his shoes, getting ready to grab the human running towards him. However, the idiot did a fatal mistake. Something that ruined any chance he had of survival.
He jumped.
A flashback occured in Kongs mind. One of a few minutes ago, when he was a simple Monmon, fighting a pair of KnightChessmon. Something had happened, something Hyde had obviously not remembered. Kong was in the air. One of the digimon had jumped. Kong aimed downwards, and shot. Now, this was the part that Kong thought of. That attack hit. Why?
Because you can't dodge in mid air.
Kong simply reached up. Even without being locked on, Targetmon was a monkey. And a champion. His reflexes were already exceptional, and he used them instantly. He reached up. He grabbed Hyde. The man was in midair, if there was one thing Kong had learned...
You can't dodge in mid air.
He would then grab Hydes waist, and sent a massive electric shock through the man. Sgocking grasp activated, and as the man fell to the ground, he would find himself unable to move. Completely at the mercy of the digimon.
Kong turned around, grinning. The bombs set off, exploding behind him, though they weren't close enough to do any serious damage. He could pick the shards of metal out of his fur anyway. Instead he focused on the human laying beneath him. If this man could somehow attempt to leap over the monkey with an injury that severe, he could ignore the little pain in his back.
And with horrifying glee, he went to work. He started to punch and kick the human as he lay there, knowing full well that he couldn't react. He beat the human half to death, taking a perverse pleasure in it, before he stopped. There seemed to be no reason, but the large smile on his face told otherwise.
A bomb appeared in his hand. Though he had none left, using Monkey See Monkey Do, he materialized one last bomb. He walked over to the humans face, and reached down, pulling his mouth open. This human had tried to make a fool of his tamer. He lit the fuse, and put the bomb in his mouth. He walked away and sat down, between Jeremiah and Hyde.
He watched... And waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Time seemed to tick on, the fuse ever so slowly burning down. Until finally, it hit the bomb.
Boom. | © seadra of gs |

An Explosion
This battle was quite possibly the most exciting match the Digimon in the arena had seen so far. What had started out as simply a battle between two Tamers, had progressed into something else entirely. The monkey Digimon were against the two twins, and had quickly defeated them, forcing a retreat. Yet, even after they were called back, the Tamer that was clearly on the losing side, still wanted to battle. The chatter among the crowd of Digimon was one of curiosity, enough to influence the betting going around. A human was actually going up against a Digimon? It was exciting and new, continuing to bring about mix reactions as the match went on even without the twins. Best part about the match so far, had to have been the other Tamer supporting the use of his Digimon's Champion form. That was how they knew things were steadily coming to a close with this battle. How would the human respond? Would he give up? Or still continue and possibly die trying? Their answer was soon given as the Tamer had somersaulted over the Champion Digimon's head. And with it, had came his end. The digivolved monkey had taken advantage of the human's injury, each strike sending a resonating cheer through the crowd. What was going to happen here? A public execution of a human? No Digimon showed up to help the losing Tamer. Instead, the monkey had got to work, eventually managing to pin down and place a bomb in their mouth. And then...an explosion. The human couldn't have possibly survived this last onslaught. And as the smoke from the explosion began to clear, talk in the crowd had begun moving to what would happen next. If the human was gone, which wouldn't be much of a surprise, then what about the twin Digimon? They were injured, but still alive. And their tamer, while likely dead, had declared that the match wasn't over yet. "Finish them! Finish them!"The crowd had chanted. It would seem like they won't be satisfied unless the Digimon were deleted.

king of all When the world burns, will you look to the skies, where the fire rains, or look to the people who put it out. + condition: perfect! + passive lock on: + D.A.T.S ability: +20% to all stats.
+ attack:
| "Finish them! Finish them! Finish them!"
The crowd called for death. And Kong believed death had been served. But he was wrong. This human, this cockroach. He was still alive. But he had been injured. Horrendously badly. It would be too easy to kill him. And his death wasn't what the crowd wanted. The match wasn't over yet.
The Targetmon slowly walked towards the two Motimon. He had allowed them to live before, but their tamer had made a mistake. And mistakes had to be punished. Kong didn't believe that the tamer had been punished enough. Physical injuries can be healed. His face could be reconstructed. His arm could be fixed, even improved. It was no punishment. There was no lesson learned.
The barrier that separated the combatants and the non-combatants opened up. Kong would reach through to the two Motimon, and pick one of them up. Sable, or Weiss. He didn't know what one. He didn't care. They were both the same to him. They were both only a snack. Half a digimon. Half a meal. Not enough to sate his hunger.
And he was hungry.
His hand would close around the in-training, and he would lift it into the air. A wild grin would appear on his mouth before stretching open, his teeth connected by thin strands of saliva. Leaning his head back, he would hold the digimon above himself, and squeeze. And squeeze. And squeeze. Any noise that would be made would be completely ignored, and the pressure would increase.
Until, that is, it became too much. Like a grape sliding out of its skin, the Motimons data would burst out, dripping into Kongs mouth. The skin would follow, looking like a deflated pink balloon, before getting churned up and swallowed along with the rest of the data.
Kong would then turn his gaze to the remaining Motimon. Leaning down and opening his mouth. He would encase its head, before pulling back and biting down, his teeth snapping closed just in front of his face. Killing both of them would be no fun.
Kong let out a horrific laugh, before turning away, walking back to Jeremiah. This fight was over. | © seadra of gs |
