Zo opened the window and peered out. Leaning over the edge, she bit down on her lower lip anxiously. What could have happened? The window didnt look like it could have been opened from the outside... Did..? No, wouldn't she have woken up? The Digimon would have been a baby... Wouldn't it be loud or something?
When Leyton spoke, Zo nodded. He had just confirmed her thoughts. ”Yeah... the window doesn't look like it can be opened from the outside in general- Wait haunted!? Is that possible in the Digital World?!” she asked -clearly on edge. Weren't there ghost like Digimon!? Gulping, Zo followed him outside. When Leyton's foot let out a crunch, her eyes looked down towards him. She followed his signal and approached. The girl crouched down next to him to look over it.
”Eh!? It hatched!? And it just left!? Why would it do that?!” she asked as her eyes looked about. She'd shift her head to gesture to a faint trail of egg bits leading down the sidewalk away from the hotel.

This was an interesting occurrence, normally a hatched digimon would stay put but hers had decided to up and leave. He looked back at her, she appeared to have found the trail. "Well? Shell we find your partner?" he asked, eyes studying the shell in hand.
It would be interesting to see what she had, though he never had a Digimon Kotemon's spirit allowed for him to gain knowledge on the average lives of most Digimon; from birth to data redistribution it was all so... Complex.
The white hair's high was gone at this point, which was a good thing as he would need answer any questions she had. |

Zo stared at him as he made the pun. Was that even a pun in spanish? Well, was it? She watched him silently, her mind breaking the fourth wall and trying to figure it all out. ”...” She didn't justify the pun with a proper answer before nodding. ”Yeah let's go find it!”
”Or er, him? Her?... Hrm calling them 'it' seems kind of... weird- like they aren't an actual creature,” she spoke softly. Then, it hit her. Looking at him, she tilted her head. "Leyton, where's your digimon partner? I haven't seen them around at all.. do you even have one?" she asked- no malice in her voice. As they walked, the girl had genuinely become curious about the subject.

Honestly, when the carbuncle had woken up on this particular morning, Angeli had nothing really planned. Not a particularly bad thing all things considering... not every day needed something big and exciting to happen. Frankly, today she just was content with having a little R&R... but first, she needed to get a little caffeine. No girl should go a day without a cup of java, though sadly this cheap hotel she was staying lacked that.
Oh well... she knew a nice lil' coffee shop right down the street.
As the Chromiamon walked out the hotel, she for a moment paused, her eyes widening at seeing a somewhat familiar face. Wasn't that that nice, Spanish-speaking girl she met not too long ago? How lovely, she absolutely needed to go and say hello! "Zo? Is that you? Why, what a pleasure to see you aga-" She'd say with a smile, but not before realizing right by her was an individual whom her own personal opinions of were... less than satisfactory. "Okay okay. Let me just take this nice and slow... Leyton. What are you doing here, and why are you with her?" |

Leyton stood up and laughed at her question, he always got it one way or another. Pointing to his heart he gave her a goofy grin, "My partner is right here," he began "I'm a Spirit user, my partner unlike yours is a spirit and I can transform into him-"
He was cut off by a more than familiar voice, the very beautiful Digimon and RingBound member, Angeli. Well to be specific Kotemon thought she was pretty.. Oi vey and here she comes with the questions.
"She and I spent the night together is all Angeli, she's my new friend." he he said in English. "You're looking cute this morning, what brough you out?" |

Zo blinked- confusion on her face as her pointed to his head. Did he... eat his digimon or something? Was that why it was inside of him? Her brows furrowed in concern. ”Er... Oh!” She nodded along as he further explained. Okay, so he wasn't some digimon eater. He... was just a digimon? Was that right? Zo looked down, clearly more confused than before.
At the appearance of Angeli, Zos eyes shot up. A large grin flashed across her face as she raised a hand to wave a greeting to the Digimon. She trotted up to approach the rabbit like Digimon, clearly ready to say hello. But before she could reply to the friendly carbuncle, the mon's attention turned to Leyton. Zo looked between the two as Angeli spoke. Was something the matter? Did she not like him or something?
”¡Sí! Él me dio un paseo a la ciudad desde el desierto y me dejó estrello en el sofá de su habitación de hotel!” she spoke, beaming brightly. Then, as if remembering something, Zo clapped her hands together.
"Ah! ¿Usted ha visto a un bebé Digimon corriendo sin compañía?"

Angeli could not help but squint at Leyton as he spoke, not terribly convinced. "Friend? Dear Yggdrasil, you are shameless... why is it that you need to hit on every girl you meet?" The Rookie level would shake her head dismissively, though not before the rabbit-like Digimon face blushed heavily at the Spirit Wielder's comment. "I-I am NOT cute! Stop trying to confuse me!"
Despite her initial frustration with the white-haired man, Angeli was quick to calm down when Zo explained how she met him. While yes that was a nice gesture on his part, this was STILL Leyton they were talking about. She fully well remembered his attempts to flirt with lady Andrea during their mission in the Virulent Waterways... and her too? She was still not so sure on that one, but she wasn't going to be a fool around him. "Okay, that makes more sense... Just mind yourself around him dear. Leyton is a bit infamous among the people I know for being a bit of a wannabe casanova." She'd say in relief, but not before giving Leyton a stern glare, much like that of a protective mother. "You hearing me purty boy? If I hear a word that you've gone and laid an unwanted finger on some innocent girl, I will shove coal up your ass so far up, you will be coughing up DIAMONDS."
An unattended baby Digimon? Angeli sadly had not heard word of such a thing... but it was nonetheless a scary thought. This city was no place for a Fresh or In-Training level! "No, I've not... Did something happen?" |

He gulped at Angeli's words, she sure was s.s..s..s...cute. She was a cute little rabbit thing, if he was 100% Digimon he'd def spit a little game to her. She was blushing! She of all people was blushing from something he said. Crazy right? WRONG, Leyton had some swagger to his game now, having met a delightful young lady in the human world a few days prior to this and he swept her off her feet... Sort of.
"I wouldn't dream of it Angeli, but can i put a finger in them?" he asked, tilting his head. He loved young women, loved them something fierce, mostly because they came in so many shapes and sizes. |

Zo blinked as she tilted her head curiously. What did Angeli mean? Leyton hit on girls? Did she mean flirt or actually hit... Hrm... She probably meant flirt. After all, that would tie into shameless better. Hrm.. What was Yggdrasil? Zo honestly wasn't sure. It sounded somewhat familiar- but the girl couldn't quite place where she had heard the word before. Zo would look down in silent thought as Angeli and Leyton did their whole routine of blushing and sneering.
Her eyes would shift up to look around the crowded streets silently- she certainly remembered why they were out here. Zo couldn't say the same for Leyton who had reverted to making crude jokes- not that she was listening. No, Zo was looking for clues. The girl would wander a few feet, looking about for anything that could lead to her digimon. When Angeli spoke, the girl answered- albeit a bit distracted from her search.
”My digimon partner hatched from their egg- but they hatched when I was asleep and ran off somewhere- Oh!” Her voice would cut off as she noticed a small green slime turning a distant corner and took off after it.
((Just gonna use English since Angeli is a Digimon and would understand and Leyton knows Spanish.))

Angeli could not help but place a hand by her forehead, she already developing a wicked headache. Why did a perfect morning have to be ruined by this? By Leyton? "Ugh... I cannot believe we are on the same team together." She'd comment, sighing slightly. "Get your mind out of the gutter... You KNOW what I mean." She'd say sternly before glancing back at Zo, frustrated that the Spirit Wielder didn't even have the class to hold back his slutty nature right now. Zo seemed like too sweet a girl to have to deal with this shit...
Despite her frustration, Angeli's attention quickly went back to Zo, her eyes widening slightly as heard the news. So her partner hatched and ran off while she was resting? That was problematic... a Fresh level Digimon did not belong out in the streets like this! She may have been at times a bit of a selfish individual, but she wasn't heartless! Fresh or In-Training were the most vulnerable stages of a Digimon's life... many were slime-based Digimon who could fit into a variety of nooks and corners. If Zo's partner for instance slid down a drain into the sewers underneath the city, they could be in legitimate danger! Before she could say anything, Zo suddenly took off on them, the Rookie level suddenly realizing that she may have spotted the newly-hatched Digimon. Without a moment's hesitation, she dashed after Zo. |

Hmm so Zo’s partner came to life, not too surprising, she had been carrying that egg for a while. While he followed the two his mind trailed off about a few things the whole Angeli fiasco, his time with Zo, what Zo’s partner might be; little things really. Maybe shed have a veemon, though personally he hated the blue dinosaur Digimon. “I wonder what Andrea is doing right now…” he tapped his chin, probably following Claire around the dark area, lookin’ all cute. |

Zo turned the corner to find a bit of the egg shell down below. She could barely hear Angeli's protest of being on the same team as Leyton in the background, and the girl wasn't even sure what that meant. The girl would gulp silently as she crouched down to pick up the bit of egg shell. So, the small green slime she saw was her partner. The girl had honestly just guessed- after all a newly hatched Digimon must have been pretty small right? Standing up, the girl moved to speed walk down the road- trying to find where the small Digimon had gone off to...
Until Leyton said the name of the forbidden one. Zo stopped in her tracks and glared at Leyton. "Andrea? Eye patch? Red hair? American?" she asked- clearly not happy.

As the trio quickly were pursuiting the Fresh level, Angeli was initially thinking this was going to be an easy endeavor... it was after all just a Fresh level. However, when Leyton decided to randomly make a comment about Andrea, Zo seemed to stop dead in her tracks, giving Leyton a rather frightening look. Did Zo somehow meet Andrea? Honestly, Angeli saw Andrea as both a valuable ally and friend, but even she had to admit that the red-haired cyclops was a rowdy one, difficult to control. No surprise that she potentially met someone and pissed them off... Regardless of the details on how Zo knew her, this wasn't the time to be idle. Wishing for them to get back on the chase, Angeli seeked to be the mediator for the group. "Look, we have no time to worry about that stuff! If we lose sight of your partner now, we'll be up all day trying to find them!"

Nothing beats two beautiful young women who hate each other imagine the catfights, red on red crime anyone? He'd have to get them together one day. "Hey, I think I hear your partner!" Leyton said, avoiding Zo's iron gaze.
Whatever Andrea did to her would have to have been terribly brutal or obscene, knowing the one eye she probably smarted off or called her a... Gulp.. Mexican.
