They had been on the road for a while, the duo decided to overshoot the plains and headed for the closest city; here not only could they get some grub but the egg could hatch safely. 

The night air of the concrete jungle, blew threw Leyton's hair as he let out a yawn. It felt like they had been traveling days but it had only been a few hours. Day swiftly changing into night as the Digimon of the city began closing down their shops. 

Turning his head to the girl on the back of his bike he fought back another yawn, "Estamos aquí... Bienvenido a episodio tecton Ciudad" he smiled.

Zo had been quiet for most of the journey. She had kept her eyes open and out on the scenery as they drove. Occasionally they'd pass a strange new Digimon she had never seen. Zo would make sure to eye it and try to figure out it's features. When Leyton suggested going to a nearby city, she could only agree. Honestly, her stomach was rumbling somewhat anyway. By the time they got to the city, night time had come down upon them. As the shops around them closed, Zo gulped. Would anywhere be open for them to get food? What would they do about shelter for tonight as well... She'd nod as Leyton told her the name of the city they had just entered. Leaning forward, she spoke softly. "Es tarde, será algo ser abierta?"

His eye lids dropped half way over his eye balls. They'd need to find some grub, and his hand was cramping from holding the throttle for so long. The trip was fun none the less, getting to explain the different digimon or just pointing out something unusual, he had began to become fond of the girl and her questions. 

The smell of fresh bread caught his nose, turning down a empty street he followed the scent to a lone burgermon standing infront of what looked like a burger shaped hut. Burgermon were always good for a quick meal, though this one maybe pricey. 

Parking his bike a few feet away, Leyton signaled for the girl to stay put. "Voy a conseguir algo de comer." he rubbed the back of his neck letting out a loud yawn.

Zo reached up to run her hand through her long red hair as she sat on the back of his bike. Her hair had gotten tangled in the wind. She was glad it had been tied up due to the desert heat, or she'd probably look like a lion by now. Although, in general, Zo wasn't fond of how she looked at the moment. A trek through the desert and know wind blown, she definitely needed a bath. Looking up as Leyton seemed to notice something, she curiously leaned over to see what he was going towards. When they came to a burger shaped hut, her eyes widened. They had burgers in the digital world!? A bright smile flashed across her face. When he spoke about going to get food, she nodded eagerly. She was starved! ”Alright! I'll wait here!”

He wasn't really hungry personally, his stomach would growl occasionally but it was nothing he couldn't handle, as he paced his way up to the burgermon he narrowed his eyes around the area. There had to be somewhere they could stay for the night around here. 

Approaching the Burger shaped hut he made an order for two burgers, he had no clue if she liked them or not but he couldn't let her go hungry. If she didn't like burgers he'd get her some freshly made bread instead, thogh it may be pricey as Burgermon take pride in their burgers and almost nothing else. 

After retriving two finely paper wrapped burgers he returned to the bike handing Zo one. "I didn't know if you liked burgers or not, but if you don't I can get you something else.After we eat i'll find us a place to stay."

Zo hung her legs over the edge of the bike seat as she sat there. The short girl would dangle her legs while patting her bag silently. The book bag was now resting on her lap with the egg poking out- as if she was giving it some air. The girl wasn't sure if digimon eggs worked that way, but she wanted her future partner to be comfortable. In a way, this felt like a new member of her family. Her lips would purse momentarily before she bit down on her lower lip. She wouldn't let this family member get hurt. Zo's shoulders shook momentarily as she looked down at the egg. Her eyes dulled for a brief second. Did she really deserve to be on such an amazing adventure? Zo didn't seem to be able to make any good choices in the long run... Maybe it would have been better if she just left the egg where she found it... So she couldn't mess up whatever was inside it... The dark thoughts were chased away as Leyton's voice reached her ears. Turning to look over her shoulder towards him, she smiled brightly. ”Ah! I love burgers!” she hummed. The girl shuffle and turn around to face him on the bike seat. She'd take the burger and begin to unwrap it to take a bite. It was clear she was hungry. While chewing, she nodded along with his words and spoke after swallowing. ”Is there an inn or anything near here? Er... how much would something like that cost?”

He smiled as she took the burger and began to eat. He didn't have too much gas left in his tank, not his bike of course, it was solar powered and still had enough energy to get them anywhere that wasn't too far out. 

Licking his lips he unwrapped his burger and took a bite, the steamed lettuce and charred digital beef tantalised his taste buds. "That's good," he kept a warm smile on his face, focusing on the road ahead. A light flickered in the distance, from what he could make out it could have been some sort of hostel to be open so late. 

"Hey, I'm going to take us up to that building okay?"

Zo chewed happily as her legs swung back and forth over the edge of the bike. Her eyes would drift to the egg, which she had placed next to her on the seat in her bag. She briefly wondered if whatever was inside there would like burgers too. Zo could remember going to burger places with her brothers and sisters on the rare days her parents got along long enough to take them out. They could never make it through dinner at an actual restaurant without fighting, so quick fast food runs were more of the family's ideal eating out situation. A lump formed in her throat as she thought about it, but she forced herself to keep smiling and chewing on her burger. When Leyton mentioned the building, she nodded with a full mouth. "Mhm!"

Sitting back on his Bike, they gingerly cruised towards the building. As they neared the structure it became more apparent that it was a sort of motel, no doubt built by humans for those who come into the digital world. 

Slowly accelerating, they were parked in front of the motel like building. "This'll work." he laughed. The place didn't look half bad, a heck of a lot cleaner than the motels in his hometown. "I'll head in and get us a room, or do you want to maybe get separate rooms? I'm flexible." he covered his mouth. 

"I mean I'll get us a pair of rooms."

As they casually drifted down the street on the back of Leyton's bike, Zo managed to finish her burger. She'd carefully tuck the paper in her bag to avoid littering before looking over the structure in front of them. A soft whistle escaped her lips. It looked nice. Then again, it wasn't a five star, but it was better than the street. The building's structure looked foreign compared to the other buildings. This building looked far more human. When Leyton parked, Zo would climb off his bike and stretch. ”Yeah this will work!” she hummed happily. At the mention of rooms, Zo looked at him and shook her head. She didn't seem to see anything wrong with them sharing a room. ”One room is fine I feel bad enough that you have to pay for it. I'd feel terrible if you paid for two rooms.”

Sweet! They'd share a room! Wait... They would have had to had two-bedders, then again if there was one bed he could sleep on the floor of course. "Uh.. Okay..." he gulped.

Walking into what looked like the main, due to its glass window panes and a rather bored looking Elcmon sitting behind what looked like a desk. Not too soon after he entered he walked back out of the building holding a room key. 100 bits was steep but it was allegedly all designed to care for humans. 

"We can leave the bike here," he said, dangling the key to the girl. He continued his way to the room, certain she'd follow him.

Room 11, was all theirs, he opened the door and they would be greeted by what looked like a normal hotel room. A sofa, a bed, sadly no TV, a bathroom-esc area. "You can have the bed, I'll crash on the sofa." he turned to her, eyes ridden with sleep.

Zo didn't seem to notice his gulp as she fiddled with her hair. Honestly, she just wanted a shower. The girl's mind was preoccupied with the fine layer of dirt, sand and sweat covering her thanks to the desert. ”I hope the room has robes or something...” she spoke softly. Zo didn't have clothes to change into, so she'd have to wash her clothes in the bath tub most likely... It wouldn't be too bad, but she'd have to wait for them to try, Her mind was preoccupied by this as they walked into the main lobby. When Leyton spoke, she nodded. ”Right!” she spoke, nodding firmly. When they approached the room, Zo's eyes widened at the sight of an actual bed. The news that she'd get the bed was definitely great. Her eyes lit up and she nodded. ”Alright! I need to take a bath first though... Where do they have the robes?”

Leyton scratched his head... Robes? He didn't know anything about a robe, but if this were like a human world hotel they'd be in the closet. "I think maybe the closet? Or already hanging in the bathroom?"

He stepped into the room, and turned on the only lamp. Making his way to the bathroom his eyes searched the area for signs of a robe. He had found towels, and... Thank the maker, a robe. "Here you go." he nervously laughed, holding up the bathrobe.

He coughed, "Would you like for me to leave for a while? While you take your bath?" he asked, it was no problem, as a young lady she probably wouldn't want a guy around after a bath.

Zo would approach the bed and slide her book bag off. She'd place the bag on the end of the bed. Carefully, she'd take the egg out of the bag and placing it gently on the bed. Her hands patted it gently as Leyton went to go look for a robe. ”Thanks for checking.” When he returned with the robe, she smiled brightly and took it. The robe was clearly meant for a man, but that meant it'd cover her up nicely. She looked over it quietly while touching the soft fabric. ”I'm glad you found it,” she mumbled softly. It'd be infinitely more awkward if he hadn't found one. When he offered to go for a while, her face turned red as everything finally clicked in her tired mind. She'd nod bashfully. ”Er yes, if you wouldn't mind... I only need ten or fifteen minutes..”

Leyton nodded and stepped out of the room, closing the door behind him. He let out a sigh and rested against the door sliding down it. "Ah, you did well Leyton, you helped a person out in need." he laughed to himself. 

His eyes slowly shut and he let out a yawn. A small nap wouldn't hurt right now right? Her bath couldn't be too long, warm and steamy... He could probably use one sooner or later. He shut his eyes and drifted into unconscious.
