The blonde never talked about the events that happened the Dark Area, and then again neither did Yana. Only one memory was worth remembering and even then she was too embarassed to think about it for too long. Haru never struck her as the type to be embarassed but still... Fortunately, that adventure had brough the two closer, and taught Yana something unique: Haru's touch filled her with confidence. As their fingers entwined in a gentle but firm, almost loving sort of way, their digivices echoed their unity. Meanwhile the blonde's playful answer combined with her tender touch brought her right back to that memory... The Russian dancer felt her Jogress partner's heart, beating in sync with her own; she instinctively mirrored her gesture, scooting closer to Haru so they were facing the same way, their shoulders grazing slightly. There was no further need for words at this point: "...Jogress Shinka... Vegamon!!", Ari called out as the herself and Vee faded into light and joined in a single, Ultimate form. To the Digimon, the fusion process was even more intimate. As their data and digicore united into a single entity, this unified will paved the way for their memories and feelings, which the former individuals each controlling half of the resulting Digimon: Vee's thoughts became Ari's, and Ari's became Vee's. Fortunately the two girls weren't alone... While they took their time setting up their join evolution, both Zach and Claire alike urged their partners onwards, taking the fight to the enemy without a second thought. Crescemon's digivolution brought with him a momentary relief against the searing heat, allowing the Russian born a chance to fight in a closer envoiroment than the one she'd grown used to. The cold helped her focus, sharpening her thoughts towards what she should be thinking about. Yana too noticed Vegamon was a lot cockier than Ari or Vee indivually. Buyt they were both pretty confident, so the result came as no surprise. The combination of Ari's playful mischief and Vee's chill nonchalance was what struck her as the most curious: "His weaker spots are armored. Not completely though...", Ari's half of Vegamon would think. With both of them being predatory digimon, their Jogressed form had this talent kicked up a notch, allowing it to swiftly pick up the weak links in Metalgreymon's Helmet: His eyes and jaw were uncovered, prime targets for an attack. With a swift beat of its wings, Vegamon blitzed towards the enemy, flying low and skillfully avoiding yet another Trident arm as it tried to stab it as if the Dragon man digimon were some kind of insect. It was almost insulting, but he would get what's coming to him sooner rather than later, when he was right under the MetalGreymon, Vegamon suddenly turned upwards, "Sky Splitter!!", spinning at lightning speed and piercing through the foe's jaw in what would feel more like a mighty uppercut than a proper piercing attack. With its specialized body for speed and precision, outspeed and outmanouvering a titan like MetalGreymon was like stealing candy from a baby, "Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark!" ○ Sky Splitter - With a mighty thrust of his wings, Vegamon blitzes towards his opponent - gaining 4 stacks of FLY HARDER! - leaving a jet-like V-shaped trail behind him. After picking up speed, he will rotate at high speed with his claw hand forward, like a drill. While dashing, he is immune to crowd control with the gale force knocking foes aside depending on their speed. An enemy who takes the hit head on however, suffers a lot more: He takes massive piercing damage capable of ripping through defensive techniques up to ultimate level. Even if it doesnt pierce, the impact is still enough to deal great damage. COOLDOWN: 4 posts Flying back and putting some distance between itself and the foe's Head, vegamon gathered energy between its hands and shot it forwards in an accurate beam, hitting MetalGreymon square in the eye, "Bye-bye~!", one final taunt as the foe would be easily pierced by Blue Max, one final signature on their handiwork, "One down... Next customer~!" ○ Blue Max - Vegamon's simple and only ranged attack. The holy ring on his wrist glows as he gathers energy between both palms before firing a blue energy bolt. It deals 50% bonus damage to Virus types due to the Holy ring and always moves faster than Vegamon himself. If aimed at the locked on target, the beam gains a homing property. It can be charged for the turn before, causing it to deal double damage and stun the opponent for 1 post on impact; this gives it a COOLDOWN of 1 post. |
