Trade... Emails? Was this kid serious? Haruhi couldn't think of a more absurd thing. They were just doing a mission together. A job. They weren't exactly career problem solvers either, being a tamer was hardly a profession. Getting to know one another was about as much of a waste of time as all this small talk he was trying to force. The younger blonde kept her mouth shut though. Just because Zachary was friendly and foolish didn't mean Haru had any right to tear him down. As long as his friendliness didn't effect the task at hand, there would not be any issues. Not with Haruhi anyway. Her however was a tad more keen on conversation. He figured the whole point of having a group around was to, well, cooperate. Participate in group activities like playful banter and ludicrously complicated handshakes. He'd nod and laugh a little at both Walter and Ari's words. "Really? Must be nice. Im not all that good in cold. Too restraining, ya know? Makes me sleepy too, couldn't tell ya why... Ya dont say? Huh. Well then, better keep an eye out for any Meramon." the Veemon would say off handedly as the group carried on. All the while Haru maintaining a vigilance on her surroundings. Needless to say, the next thing to happen was quite a shock. Even with two individuals keeping a solid watch of things, the group was still caught off guard by none other than a Meramon. Panthermon's shield want up, Ari armor digivolved and Walter tossed out an orb of darkness at the firey being. And yet again, Sebastion did nothing. This was the second time, correct? Of the two fights the group had faced, He'd abstained from both so far. Vee of course felt his hand hit his forehead. Had he tempted fate that much? Really? It had been a genuine question. The odds of course that this Meramon was the same Meramon that Ari had mentioned before was pretty slim, but still... It was a matter of principle. Still, now there was a bit more room to play with. No worries about any narrow bridges or terribly close proximity to lava, which gave the homeless orphan and her digimon partner some wiggle room. The tamer tightened her grip around her digivice. "Vee. Go." was the only exchange necessary. The Veemon would soon be enveloped by a shining digiegg as his transformation took place. "Veemon digivolve to..." had say as he felt the power surge through him. The egg would shatter and in the four foot tall vaguely dragonic rookies place now stood a hulking mass of blue muscle, looking like a ferocious mix of between a Dragon and a dinosaur. "Veedramon! the now hulking figure would say in a low growl. He wasn't anymore properly equipped to handle the flame body digimon, but at least he wasn't as helpless as his prior form. Plus, now that he was stronger, so were her card effects. The blonde pulled a card apparently from the ether and slide the digitizing rectangle through her reader. "Digimodify! Gungnir and Aegis!" She'd say reflexively. It was almost second nature by now. She didn't know what possesses her to declare the name of her cards sometimes. The familiar shield and lance of gallantmon would materialize on her partner all the way, allowing him to attack and defend in equal measure. The lance in particular would be quite the boon, as it extended his melee reach, without compromising his safety. Indeed Vee had become quite familiar with this weapon. He wondered if perhaps in this life, he was destined to become the digimon from which the gear was borrowed. So far he'd taken on a new evolution. Veedramon was a strange change from the form he had taken in his first life. It could fly, namely. It was bulky. Heavy. But much more powerful. The draonsaurus would stand ready at the Meramon's flank, a hulkish mass of blue bipedal rhino standing between the firey beast and the rest of the party. "Hey guy, just be cool ok? You need to chill out. No reason to get steamed, otherwise that hot head is gonna get you in cold mess. Cooler heads prevail, ya know?" Vee would tease at the burning man, his barrage of puns being the most effective weapon right now. He was hoping to draw the attention of the blazing fiend, as he was more than capable of taking the hits now. Which should also give any digimon in the fight a decent opening to attack.

The collaborative effort of the party is strong but not enough to extinguish the flames of the Meramon. It's weak, its ego is wounded, its senses are clouded by anger. The wild digimon's burning skin begins to grow larger, concentrating every drop of its remaining strength. Meramon looks up at his opponents, glaring at each one of them, before releasing a loud howl along with a big wave of flames. Should the party run, they will meet an opening of a cave-like structure at the end of this path.

Once more Sebastian Devaroux had forgone the fighting, he had not decided to participate because the majority of people seemed to release an assault upon the digimon of the champion level. Yet it would seem he had either overestimated the group, or underestimated the digimon itself. This digimon of fire was at home, it seemed to have gotten free from the Lynxmon, distancing itself from the assaulting digimon. Sebastian whom had begun to move forward would turn as he heard the ferocious howl, the screech of the digimon, The group of trainers were upon a circular platform that was roughly twelve to thirteen diameters. The Meramon was located at the edge upon the thin bridge. Its howl seemed to control the flames, not only was fire created from the Meramon itself, but flames from the volcano seemed to burst in to life forming with the Meramon granting it more power. As the howl reached its highest pitch, the wall of flame that erupted forth, easily able to cover the entirety of the small island, meaning it would be capable of striking every single digimon and tamer in the vicinity. This was when Sebastian moved, he ran forth as the wall of flames began to form, his bird like digimon charging with him. The digivice glowed with a fierce fire as it enveloped the digimon. Sebastian would jump and land upon his Kokatorimon, then they jumped. Over the wall of flames that moved forth. Sure this fire would probably do minor damage to the panther and lynx, each having an affinity to fire, but they would have to watch for the tamer. The legs of the chicken touched down upon the thin bridge having easily charged over the fire as the Meramon stood, The chicken landed with a kneel though rose gently. Its eyes intending to meet the Meramon. If this were plausible the chickens eyes would flash red. If the flash were to by the meramon, its flames would become stone, its entire body falling prey to the petrification, making its body unable to be moved, it would essentially be unable to fight thus ending the battle without the need of defeating and reverting the Meramon back to its digitama. This was what Sebastian would prefer. Alas though. IF the meramon were to not fall prey, Kokatorimon and Sebastian would know what they had to do. The tamer and digimon would move forth, together as one, human riding the digimon, but what would they do. They would use their head. You see Kokatorimon was incredibly fast, like blinding fast, and with the enhancement known as the Turbo Rooster this empowered his legs and speed even further. The attack was a simple yet fast one, the force from the speed enhancing the power would see the chickens head strike the Meramon and intend to knock him from the bridge and in to the fire. The fire creature would more than likely survive but the intention was to incapacitate it so the digidestined could move on. SPOILER: Click to show Scar Red Eyes: Kokatorimon releases a flash of red energy from her eyes, this energy burst completely petrifies digimon of champion level and below while paralysing 50% of ultimate armour level digimon. Pure ultimate and above digimon are uneffected. [2 post duration and 4 post cooldown]. Can effect 1 digimon at one time. One must see the flash tobecome affected ○ ATTACK - Turbo Rooster: Enhances the speed of the digimon for 3 posts [2 post duration 2 post cooldown] [Large speed boost] ○ ATTACK - Red Chicken Attack, - using its enhanced speed Kokatorimon rushes in to head but an opponent [instant use no cooldown] TLDR - Penguinmon and Sebastian jump over the large fire, intend to petrify meramon if not successful enhance speed and aim to knock the creature from the bridge

With each turn, she grows more determined and ferocious, further increasing said boost if she keeps fighting. The Meramon was still Alive! Even after all this attacks, he was still up and about? There was a path for them to escape if the need arose, and it looked as if it just might. But the brave Lynxmon wouldn't back down against an opponent she had already defeated once, instead urging her allies to hide from the incoming firestorm; particularly the humans: "Nana-chan, get back!", Ari cried out, a warning that was not only meant to her but any ally who happened to be between her and Meramon. Lynxmon was immune to fire and thus she could easily duke it out with Meramon even in this extreme envoiroment - swimming in lava if it came to that - anyone else wouldn't be so lucky. Realizing they were in trouble when he shot forth a powerful wave of flames, Ari's gaze narrowed as she inhaled, realizing what she would have to do in order to protect Yana and her teammates, "HOWLING BUSTER!!!" SPOILER: Click to show ○ Howling Buster - Howls ferociously, breathing out a scorching wave of heat that damages and knocks back enemies in a cone in front of her. In addition, enemies within melee distance of Ari (such as at her side or back), also suffer the same effect due to the flames suddenly growing more intense. As she howled, she exhaled an overwhelming gale of scorching air against Meramon's flames. Though this attack had hardly been designed for such a use - instead she mainly used it to knock back foes - the mighty wind coming from an Armor Ultimate level digimon should overwhelm the Champion level one's just as Penguinmon completed his digivolution into Kokatorimon. Since Ari had been fighting the enemy head on before Sebastian went over to assist, she was closer to the foe and thus her attack should not only blow back the enemy's flames, but make it rather easy for her feathery ally to make the jump he was planning, "Go Kokatorimon!" After this, Ari would stand watch for her allies' following attacks, intending to finish this off with herself and Kokatorimon alone. If the giant chicken digimon failed to petrify the other Digimon due to averting his gaze or anything else of the sort, she would unleash a menacing roar in the form of her Battle cry, paralyzing the foe with fear and at least being able to keep him from counter attacking onto Kokatorimon. SPOILER: Click to show ○ Battle Cry - Ari roars menacingly, striking fear in the heart of her enemies and rendering them paralyzed, unable to act for 1 turn. Enemies of Armor Ultimate level or higher won't be paralyzed but simply have their damage reduced by 30% for that turn. Inspired Allies (From Blazing courage passive) who hear the battlecry will have the inspiration bonus doubled for that turn. Opponents who cannot hear are immune. 2 turns cooldown after effect wears off. It was bad enough that he'd end up hurting itself on the enemy's flames, the least she could ensure was that her friend would take as little damage as possible from this attack. Of course, if she failed to knock the foe down into the pit of Lava, Ari would charge at full speed, knocking Meramon into the lava pit with a headbutt, only taking care to hold on to some form of rock to pounce back up to where her allies were. Even if she could swim in lava, it didn't make it any easier to get back up... Hopefully the same would be true for Meramon and he wouldn't get back up easily if he survived their onslaught. "Be careful... Ari...", Hidden behind a rock from the battling fire digimon, Yana watched the fight with a mix of wariness and awe... Ari was amazing like this... But her bravery could just as well be her doom. Hopefully Meramon would fall this time and they could proceed calmly. Blazing Courage @30%

Haruhi Ryuukami Zachary Scryer The very least, the Veemon's Digivolved form was impressive, and were Claire still a new tamer, she would have been slightly intimidated. As it was, she was slightly pleased with it, though Vee's speech left... quite a bit to be desired. Walter might be slightly anxiety-ridden, but he wasn't quite that bad. And still nothing from the other blonde. The second refusal to fight actually caused Claire to frown, her eyes narrowing at The two did not seem particularly afraid, which further confirmed her assumption that they were just lazy- or worse, freeloaders, despite the man supposedly being the leader on this expedition. As someone who so far hadn't assisted in battle in any way, Sebastian was acting like nothing of the sort. And the result of one less hand to extinguish the flames soon became clear- the Meramon wasn't done, despite the heavy assault from the four Digimon. With an enraged cry from Meramon, the heat rapidly began to increase in the area, if that were even possible. Claire looked back at the engagement in alarm, as was greeted with the sight of fire- not just a ball or flamethrower, but a gigantic wave of it, heading straight for the party. At the sight of the wall of flames, Claire stepped backward, ready to run. There was a cave at the end of the path, and if that came any closer, the woman would head for it. She was certainly brave, but no fool- an attack like that could easily kill a human, painfully. Should the Lynxmon's howl fail to repel the flames, she would immediately run for the cave opening in the opposite direction of the Meramon, along with Walter. But first, a retaliation of their own: one of piercing cold, this time aimed at the burning man's head. The Meramon proved himself to be a bigger threat than previously thought, and was forcing more powerful action against him. "Tear Arrow!" Along with the effects of the other Digimons' attacks ( look who decided to join the assault after all? ) it should suffice, this time, to defeat the injured Meramon. At this time, a glance was given to Yana, who was hidden behind a rock- not a bad idea in theory, but Claire just hoped she was ready to move, in case Meramon had more hidden surprises up his sleeves. "Claire speech." "Walter speech." ○ MOON NIGHT ADVANCE - Walter's Moon Gloves glow, simulating the effects of the Moon and activating Walter's Moonlight Dancer ability without the need of the Moon's presence. Comes into full effect over three posts, the first adding a 10% boost to his speed, the next post 20%, and finally 30% at the third post at full Moonlight Dancer capacity. If the Moon is already out, Walter gains a flat speed bonus of 10% ( capping at 40% total ) instead of the gradual increase. Currently at 10%. ○ TEAR ARROW - Summons an arrow of ice and fires it at the foe. Causes freezing cold upon impact, causing shivering and weakness for one post. One post cooldown.

Things seemed good. Perhaps they even were trying to reason with the infuriated Meramon. Maybe deep down it was friendly.

Deep, deep down...

... but it wasn't.

The burning digimon released a wide reaching blast of fire once more, this time casting the blast to all parts of the battlefield. Zachary gasped as he saw the eruption, but Mytholomon was quick to act. Despite having the shield up before-- it had ended after Meramon's first attack. However the second wave was coming and quickly moved towards them.

"NETHER GUARD!!" Mytholomon roared and erected another defensive barrier around them. While conserving his energy by focusing on the defense of both Zachary and the other humans nearby, he was quickly able to repel the flame wave as it merely washed over the mystical barrier, leaving them untouched by the fires. However, the large panther grunted as he felt the pressure of the flames against the barrier. His claws dug into the black stone below him, not letting the flames give an inch!

Zachary sighed as he saw the flames be repelled, and luckily, the others were quick to react as they pressed their attacks to try and repel Meramon. "Looks like the others got it. Just hang in there, Mytholomon." Zachary said, as they waited to see the result, and hopefully to reach the final room.

Haru was quite happy to see the slightest change in Claire's expression at the sight of Veedramon. Secretly she'd already made the woman her sempai. Her expierence and the way she carried herself... She wanted to be like her so much it almost hurt. Another thing that almost hurt was Bee's terrible assault on humor. His puns almost made the blonde visibly cringe, but she supposed if anything would get someone to want to attack them it was that affront to tasteful comedy. Once again, Sebastian sat out of this conflict. Was there a reason he was here again? Besides being an additional target and the provider of a couple of snacks what precisely had he done? For a man who claimed to be a leader, he certainly didn't do so by example. If they all chose his path of pacifism they'd all have died by now.The last time he might have had an excuse in the form of having the creature defeated before he could act, but right now there was no such excuse. Meramon was proving to be surprisingly tough. V' s new form sported a couple of powerful ranged attacks, but neither would likely be effective against the flaming digimon. The shield he had was strong, with both digimon of the same level, if the two were smart, they could definitely keep people safe. Speaking of safety, there appeared to be a cave mouth at the end of the path that theyd been following. With Meramon deciding it would be better to release a literal wave of fire, it looked like that wouldn't be a bad place to run to. Haru began her retreat toward it, V following suit to defend her, and as many others as he could. Between the cave mouth and Bee's newly acquired great shield they could easily mitigate any incoming fire. Of course, it seemed the two blonde girls were proving to be of a like mind, as Haru caught Claire planning to do the very same thing. Vee's new size put him much taller than either Claire or walter, which of course meant the shield within his hands had to grow larger to compensate. He could easily keep the three of them safe behind the shield, and himself if it required that. He was stronger when he was injured anyway. A quick glance around for any stragglers revealed Yana behind a rock, which wasn't a bad idea, but would it be a good idea to stay there? It also appeared Zach's digimon had another barrier within him, gifting this etheric shield to the humans. Between The wall of dragon and shield, and these barriers, and Meramon's impending demise, Haru was confident in her survival, though she wouldn't leave anything to chance. One sign of anything going wrong, and she would bolt toward the cave.

Mytholomon's barrier and V's sturdy shield saved everyone from any major injuries, Ari and Kokatorimon's paralyzing attacks prevented the wild digimon from further movements allowing Walter's Tear Arrow to successfully pierce through the burning man. Meramon is finally defeated!

As the party advances, the opening to the cave-like structure turns out to be a portal to a tunnel, dark and seemingly devoid of life. Four droplets of blue flame ignite before the group; each one carefully inspects them before merging with each other to create a big heap of fire where a FlameWizardmon emerges.

"This is a pleasant surprise," At his voice, multiple beads of flames lining the tunnel walls appear "Hmm, it's been a while since anybody has reached this far," He shrugs casually "Oh well, feel free to rest..." He says before walking towards a poorly lit corner "And restock if you need to." As he reaches his destination, tiny flames swarm to him revealing four chests containing items that may be of assistance to the party's mission.

• Ancient Doll - An ancient doll made of clay. Activating this summons a spirit that scares away a NPC Digimon from a thread, ending the battle. If this item is used, post bonuses are forfeited. Single use. -- 300 bits

A jolt of saddness filled the young trainers body, the digimon in front of him would widen his or her eyes, as her body transformed, the petrification ability of Kokatorimon had taken effect, even the flames whisping from the digimons body dropped to pebbles, yet...from the right side of the chicken a burst of cold flew past Sebastian and Kokatorimon, the ice connected with the stone body of Meramon and, the digital monster erupted in to thousands of pieces of stone. Crumpling in front of the tamer whom had only hoped to halt the digimon's advances. "No..does that mean." Sebastian would begin to wonder. "I...i think so...unless, unless she's marked." Sebastian would hang his head, he had been so careful, so calculating in how he would handle assaults, not getting involved if un-needed and only trying to halt movement or incapacitate without dispersing the creatures data. Yet if this woman was not marked, then it woud come down to Sebastian whom was the reason the digimon was petrified. Yana would know why he hung his head, she would know how the mark had effected him. How she found him that first day. He had found out the influence along with her, he had found out that this mark would summon those whom were defeated by your hand, it would summon those whom were also defeated because of you, all in an immortal constant circle, when beaten they would return angrier than before. Sebastian couldn't stand it. Even Kokatorimon seemed saddened, she understood that it meant another shadow following them. Silence as the two crossed the bridge and continued on, Sebastians eyes had glazed over as he rode upon his digimon much like a chocobo rider. Following the path that had been laid out for them until they entered another room, this time. The two would jump in fright as the blue flames seemed to burst in to existance and whizz around the duo and the rest of the group, before they headbutted [can flames headbutt] or body slam thats more like it right? before they body slammed in to each other to create a digimon. The digimon was not one he had seen before. Yet it gave of a warm aura, not like the heat in the volcano but, friendlyish, naturally this could be decieving. Sebastian would look over and run to the chests dropping from Kokatorimon, there was nothing majorly impressive in his opinion, nohing he could use himself. Yet he settled on the Six piece box reluinqishing 150 bits in the process. "Thanks" he would say to the fire type wizard before heading back to Kokatorimon. Six piece box bought

Zachary sighed as he saw Meramon vanish. It was clear he was not going to be friendly with them, after all of this and was defeated. Sadly though Sebastian was not handling the situation well. He was not sure what he was so sullen about but right now they had to keep focus. Mytholomon dropped his shield as the danger passed and they were free to proceed. 

Zachary pat the black cat's head as they walked forward down the path to the other tamers. As they made their way through the next portal, they reached a dark room where flames gathered-- to reveal a strange looking wizard-creature. Zachary took out his digivice and analyzed him, making sure he was not an enemy. As luck would have it, it wasn't. The read out appeared on him. "Flamewizardmon. Cool! He's an armored wizard type digimon. His special attack is a pyro-kinetic attack called Magic Ignition."  Zachary read out to his allies. "Um... nice to meet you too, mr Flamewizardmon. We would be happy to buy from your wares."

We are trying to find the source and see if we can stop it. Do you know anything that may help us?" Zachary inquired, trying to see if he knew anything that could help their mission.

Mytholomon merely watched the digimon cautiously. He made no moves to assume this guy was hostile in anyway, but Mytholomon was a digimon who rarely ever let his guard down.

One by one all the attacks connected and the petrified Meramon split into data, falling into the pit of lava from whence he came, perhaps to be born anew as a not so aggressive digimon. Looking at Sebastian with an empathetic smile, Yana of all people knew the reason for his hesitation: Having been overwhelmed by shadows of his past time and time again - the slain enemies likely brought on by his mark of evil - he wasn't keen on adding any further to the count unless he really had to. But what's done is done, him, Yana, Haru and Claire all shared the burned except for Zachary whose partner simply helped shield the tamers against the vicious flames. "That was close...", Yana sighed to herself As the flurry of attacks subsided, Ari too degenerated back into her Champion form, the Digimental returning from where it came inside Yana's cellphone. It was funny how even the ever charming Ari also had her lazy moments, in the end she was still a cat. Thus she followed Yana alongside the rest of the party, through a portal like cave... It's not like the team was lax about their advance but the appearance of four eerie blue flames had Ari on edge, letting out a low growl, ears twitching on high alert. However, the moment the Flamewizardmon appeared, completely devoid of any killing intent, the Gatomon relaxed into a warm smile, approaching the chest and browsing the wares on display: "Oooh, a shop, here?! How convenient!" Yana joined up on the shopping, yet keeping her ears sharp as Zachary asked a very important question. It would be irrelevant for two people to ask the same question so she just kept on browsing, eventually picking up two items and offering her digivice to deduct the necessary bits: "Hmm... I'll have one of those pyramids and a McMonburger Deluxe please...!" Haruhi Ryuukami Claire's words upon the Meramon's defeat were dismissive, but satisfied. "Hm. Good." The Meramon defeated, Walter straightened up, exhaling with relief. Claire was without burns, as were the other humans. It was quite the feat, considering the environment. But thank goodness- though only a Champion-level Digimon, a Meramon in a volcano, with humans standing on a little platform was as dangerous- perhaps more so- as fighting a higher-level Digimon without the volcano. Sebastian was a silly man, to be sure- the other blonde didn't seem thrilled with the result of the battle, but for the moment, Claire couldn't be bothered to think about why nor pay him much more mind at this point. Because of the fire Digimon's arrival and attacks, the air seemed even hotter than before, and she was eager to move on, away from the battlefield. Moving on brought some relief, and a brief mystery as well. Blue eyes focused on the flames dancing around them- one hand moved to grip her sword with caution, but she soon found the motion unnecessary. The source of the odd flames revealed itself to be some sort of small-time merchant, stocking fast food and miscellaneous items. Nothing of interest to her, and she wordlessly shook her head to decline the offer, deciding to wait for the group slightly off to the side. What was of interest to the woman was Zachary's question- not a terrible idea at all to ask, though perhaps a naive one. Claire preferred to keep her missions from area residents in cases like these. After all, this strange Digimon could be part of what was going on, or alert a 'friend' to their meddling. Still, too late to stop him now, and it wasn't such a big deal either way, she supposed. Maybe he'd actually find out something interesting. Or perhaps she was just too hot at this point to care either way. If only the shopkeep had stocked some ice. She glanced at Walter, attempting to rub the heat off the back of her neck with one hand. He averted his eyes from her, clearing his throat. "Ahem- I really think I should save my ice for better use than cooling down." He was right, but that didn't make her feel any better. With a small sigh, the woman turned her head back to the party to see if they had finished their transactions, and if the Digimon had any information for them. "Claire speech." Meramon was defeated. The only person who looked remotely not excited about that fact was sebastion, who had done so little up till now that Haru was beginning to think he had some kind of pacifistic nature. Claire didn't seem any more or less affected than she usually was, and Yana was safe and sound. Everyone was really, thanks to that handy shield. The group pressed on into the next room only to be greeted by a digimon, and Zachary proceeded ask a very, very good question... Though to be honest Haru was quite skeptical of the validity of the pyro themed wizardmon. He had a shop... In the middle of a volcano... Filled with hostile digimon. V eyed the items curiously in his Veemon form, while Haru found none of them to be entirely useful. Yana suggested they pick up the pyramid, effectively an escape rope. Its be nice to not have to walk back out, but honestly it was an irrelevant choice. If they kept their heads about them, there'd be no "south" for the mission to go. Claire seemed to understand this too and elected to buy nothing as well. She did however seem to be getting hot, and until now Haru hadn't noticed how much she had been sweating. Most of her body had a thin glaze of perspiration over it, namely her legs and face. The younger blonde took her scarf, the ends of it charred, and used it as a rag to wipe down her face to prevent her sweat build up from stinging her eyes. She took a spot near Claire, but not too near her. Haru had... So many questions for her. But now wasn't the time. But what if this was the last time?! No. No! She had to remain calm. Just because they were afforded a break, didn't mean they could just... Suddenly become friends. A thought did occur to her however as she caught the tail end of Walter's statement. "If we have any provisions left, water and the like, we should all get something in us now." it should have been a rather obvious thing, yet no one who had brought supplies seemed to have bothered breaking them out. Making it clear that a reminder needed to be given.

Flamewizardmon's eyes sparkled as he received orders; one by one he distributed the items, one by one he collected the bits "Many thanks to you, good people!" However, the grin plastered on the wizard's face quickly faded upon being asked. He fell silent and still, even the flames swiveling around him came into a halt.

Monochrome eyes met Zachary's dark orbs, letting a moment pass, before speaking in a serious tone "Injustice is everywhere," The flames burned brighter at his voice "Even the child of the volcano is not safe." Once again, silence began to engulf the place, only the crackling of flame remained. FlameWizardmon had no intentions of helping anyone at that level but he might have given the riddle a bit too easy to decode.

As moments passed, the volcano let out a silent grumble sending out a gentle tremor "If you wanna find the source, better do it fast before ol' Giygan sneezes hell again."

So it seemed that Zachary's question was stepping on a landmine (don't gloat Clair ) as the Flamewizardmon looked to him with a serious, almost creepy look. Zachary stepped back at the intense look, worried if he said something to offend the fire digimon. Mytholomon next to him growled at the sudden change in Flamewizardmon's demeanor, concerned he was indeed with the enemy and would attack his tamer.

Luckily he did no such thing and spouted out a rather cryptic words. The look of Flamewizardmon was indeed a dangerous one. Still, the question was not avoidable in the interest of their mission. The words were clear though . "Injustice is everywhere. Even the child of the volcano is not safe."

As if that was not enough, there was a sudden tremor from the volcano, making the dark chamber rumble. With FLamewizardmon's warning, it was clear it was time to leave and press on. "Let's get going. We are running out of time." Mytholomon growled. Nudging Zachary with his head to get him moving, they made their way out of the chamber's portal and back to the dungeon floors.

As they got out, Zachary talked to the others with what they learned. "Okay... maybe asking him about the dungeon was a bad idea... but we did learn something from it right?" Zachary asked, feeling a tad guilty from the dirty stares his group might of been giving him. How the hell was he suppose to know the friendly merchant was in fact involved in this?! "Though his riddle was as clear as mud, but what do you think it means?"

Walking along with them, Mytholomon mulled over the wizard's words as well. "Injustice is everywhere. THe child of the volcano is not safe." the giant panther growled in thought. "It could mean this volcano is in fact under the influence of a foreign power, and that the enemies we been fighting are a result of it. Even the 'child' might be the digimon who truly lives in the center and is in danger. It may be why the volcano has become dangerous to the rest of the surrounding area. " He said, "But then again... perhaps WE are the injustice after all. He did not seem so keen to help us when we asked him. If he was acting in the interest to save his home, why wouldn't he tell us. "

Zachary pressed on, hoping to find the room they needed soon and face the enemy responsible for this madness.
