The place was now officially a mess. That things tentacles had broken several tables, crates and desks. The lady Degas had been getting some loving from was now frozen, on her back behind a broken desk with legs in the air. Quiet humorously. 

Well it was time to go there was no place left for him to hide and the walls were riddled with holes. He dodged down the stairwell the door sizzling behind him.

"It's been fun deary but i do have to go. No hard feelings, find you back in the digi-world and I'll show you a good time." Degas called out to her and ran down the stairs laughing.

'Why? Why do you have to hit on every living thing that breathes.' His inner demon complained. Because, he wants to be the guy even Bill Gates wants in his bed. 'God the image....you bastard.' Degas resumed his laughter.

He gave a hop and skip on the last few steps. Stepping into the bottom of the aquarium exhibit. He looked up at the lightly flailing whale. He wondered if those hooks could hold it up when it can move. No matter he looked about. Several coelamon were flopping about and a few crabmon were tapping at the glass display cases.

"Hello up there? You've seen Dory?" Degas asked the Whamon making a human joke. He knew he wouldn't get it which made it funnier. Degas casually began strolling between the Coelamon.

Nobody had any better ideas than Yana as to what was causing this, and considering Yana herself had none, the best they could do was random guess. She looked pretty disappointed when Zach commented they couldn't stop the elevator, cocking her head down, "We should meet up with him or her quickly then. They might know a bit more about this whole situation than we do.", she pointed out as the elevator continued its path down and the beeping promptly came to a halt. With that, there were other things to keep in mind, mostly how they couldn't simply search every inch of the museum owing to how ginormous it was, "If all else fails we can just go into the digital world and close the portal from there. It probably won't solve it permanently but it will buy us some time." Eventually the conversation turned to food. Ari felt her stomach growl though fortunately not enough to make herself heard... A girl still had to hold a measure of elegance after all. She still nodded approvingly at the suggestion, fully aware that even with her experience and how used she was to that form, her stamina was far from limitless, "That sounds like the best idea we've had so far...", she commented, "I'd rather not fight on an empty stomach." Soon the lift finally arrived at their destination, with Yana leaving it to the American to figure out where they were. Instead, she picked up her smartphone and started taking notes of the exhibit. She was pretty sure her teacher wouldn't accept "digital crisis" as a reason to skip out on her homework and Yana had built a reputation for being a good student. She was certainly not planning on throwing it away now. But then something really wierd happened. Instead of a whale hanging from the Ceiling, there was a whamon, "W-what...?! But Why are you there?!?", Yana asked, flabbergasted. This was a place for dead animals, not for live digimon! "I bet you weren't there a while ago, right...?", Ari questioned with a knowing tone. Whatever pulled in those dinosaurs must have pulled in the Whamon too. Leave it to the Sphynx to know things...

It was a rather odd scene as they all gathered. The new tamer-- who Zachary soon recognized as one of the people helped reconstruct a digimon town with Yana a while ago. For now though, their focus was on the rather large Whamon hanging from the ceiling like a trophy catch from a fishing trip. Yana hit the nail on the head regarding why they were so surprised. 

Oddly, the little Calumon Zachary had resting on his head didn't seem a bit bothered by all of this as he hopped off his head and flew to the giant Whamon. "Ooooh! You're really big. What did you eat to get that big?" he asked. 

The big Whamon had no facial features to read, but his answer spoke clearly of the type of person he was. "Oh, lots of veggies-- seaweed and placton when I can. The occasional Crabmon rarely-- wait! Now is not the time for this!" He shouted, a sad wail to his voice.

"Okay, okay... please calm down," Zachary said, waving his arms to get the whale's attention. Calumon soon came flying back to them, a shy look to his cute face. "No need to go wailing on us."

It only hit Zachary just then the pun of the wording he inadvertently used. Bagheeramon turned to Zachary, a knowing look on his face behind his war-mask. "Whale puns? Really...?" Bagheeramon growled. Zachary shrugged apologetically, not intending to use it.

Answering Ani/Nefertimon's question, the Whale spoke to her. "That's right! Do I look like I belong on some wall like some trophy fish catch!? Ohh... my body is so dry and achy," Whamon said. "I been hanging here for a half hour now. I just wanna go back to the ocean again... BWAAAAHHHHAAAAA!"

Suddenly, Whamon began to cry out of being so upset, his tears like fire hoses as he complained about his condition.

Zachary covered his ears from the large wailing he was causing. "OKay! Okay, Whamon calm down! " Zachary shouted, trying to calm him. "Quit the blubbering. We will help you."

Turning to Zachary, Bagheeramon looked to him with a puzzled look. "Do you think we can move him to the port somehow?"

"He's a twenty-ton whale? How do you propose we lift him to the harbor? Besides, closest one is the east river. That might as well be cruelty to animals to put him THERE." Zachary said, rolling his eyes at the thought of putting the whale into such polluted waters outside of the city. It was then that Zachary had an idea, snapping his fingers. "Whamon, we can help you-- for the time being. If we get you enough water, will you calmly help us out figure out what is going on?"

The whale stopped crying and looked down to the tamers as he hung there. "Huh? Oh... I suppose so, but how can you do that." he said.

Zachary turned to the other tamers with him. "Any of you by chance have any water attacks? " Zachary asked them.

Hmm, voices? Degas walked around the whale and saw some other tamers and digimon. He couldn't help but to nearly burst out laughing as he saw Zachary and who he could only assume to be Panthermon.

"You know they say three random meetings is destiny." Degas said approaching. He gives them a wink.

"Oi what's with the blubbering," Degas said looking up to the Whamon. 

He scratched his head as the whamon yet again complained about no water. He was sorry he asked. Problem was having a 20 ton fish crying it was annoying as hell. Heck at this rate.....

"If we could build an aquarium under him his tears would fill it up." Degas suggested. 

He's so smart. 'Once every century or so.' Are you calling me old. 'Very, you're past your prime you know.' Grrr.....

"I'm not old damnit." Degas snarled and huffed under his breath. He began looking around irritably.

'Nail on head. Naked Gazimon only works to an extent now I know your true vice. Old man.' Dagger meet heart.

"So the question is how to hold the water." He looked to the cute flying kitty. She could fly that might come in handy when letting the whale down.

The following exchange was rather hilarous, or it would have been, were they not IN THE MIDDLE OF A MUSEUM GETTING ATTACKED BY DINOSAUR DIGIMON!!! Apparently other people didn't see it that way, and soon enough even the really patient Yana found herself tapping her foot in a rather opposite gesture. Hell, even the Whamon didn't seem the least bit concerned with its own condition, something that no doubt had Yana a lot more worried than the digimon himself. So there he was, pleasantly cracking jokes alongside Zach and that guy from Terabyte City, with only Pathermon appearing to share some of her concern. "Hello...!", she greeted, waving at the new arrival even though she had initially completely failed to notice his presence. She flashed a cute, friendly smile at the man she recognized from her old building adventure, before once more turning her eyes to the Whamon Indeed, Whamon confirmed Ari's theory. He had been pulled in from his natural habitat by the same strange phoenom that brought in all the dino digimon, and now he struggled to remain wet since his hide was undoubtedly very vulnerable to the being dried out. Yet both tamer and digimon shook their heads, knowing they had no way to produce moisture. Yet not all was lost yet as Ari turned to the card user beside her: "Zachary.", Nefertimon got the other tamer's attention, speaking with a calm, reassuring tone contrasting with her stone faced expression, "Don't you have a single Aquatic Digimon in that big card selection of yours? If all else fails we could try to find a vending machine and buy a booster pack..."

Ani/Nefertimon hit the nail on the head. Zachary dug through his pockets to search for the card. The new person to join them was nice-- and Zachary remembered him too. So did Panthermon its seems as he cast a growl at the stranger, not liking how the guy tried to 'cuddle' up to him.

It turned out Zachary indeed had a card and turned to Bagheeramon-- but Bagheeramon turned away. "No way. Not gonna happen." he growled flatly.

Zachary looked surprised at Bagheeramon's stubbornness. "Oh, come on! It's for a good cause!" Zachary said, trying to encourage his digimon to help.

Bagheeramon turned his head in a stuck-up manner. "I am a proud and mighty warrior! Not a fire hose! How can you ask me to just do that?" the tiger argued.

This time, however, Zachary scowled at his partner. "Bagheeramon...!" Zachary rose his voice, showing he was serious. "Will you just help the giant whale out, please?"

After seeing Zachary's determine look in his eye, Bagheeramon sighed and lowered his head. "Alright..." he growled.

Snapping the card in his grip, Zachary rose up his digivice with the card. WIth a cross of his arms, he soon brought them together and connected the two. The light of the digivice lit up as the card was swiped through the reader, causing the reader to spark off as well from the power generated. "DIGIMODIFY!" Zachary shouted, slashing the card through-- and revealing the SHELLMON card he had. "Shellmon's Hydro Blaster-- Download!"

As Bagheeramon got into position and felt the data of the water digimon flood his senses, he growled. He hated what he was about to do but he was gonna do it.

With a roar, a torrent of constant water began to shoot out of Bagheeramon's mouth at Whamon-- but not with the intent to injure.

"OOoh! Oooh! THat feels SOOO GOOD! THANK YOU!" The whale wailed out, feeling the water drizzle over his body like a shower. With the power of the Hydro Blaster, Bagheeramon proceeded to aim the water over parts of Whamon's body, trying to generously soak up the digimon's now dry skin. "Oh! Little to the left! Right under the fin please! Oh thank you!" Bagheeramon worked to aim as much water as he could over the whamon's body. While it wouldn't be as good to try and fill up the area for him to swim in, they could at least keep him moist as possible till they could resolve this whole mess.

Zachary couldn't help but laugh to see how Whamon was so appreciative of the water, but clearly this was what Bagheeramon was upset about-- resorting to giving the Whamon a bath. Still each good deed deserved another in the end.

After five minutes or so, Bageeramon stopped roaring out water, and could rest, as Whamon was generously soaked with water."We are never discussing this ever again..." the tiger grumbled.

Whamon shook his body a bit, water flying off as he wiggled there. "OH! Thank you sooo much! THat feels ten times better than before." the whale replied, giving a great big happy bellow.

Zachary scratched the back of his head modestly as he looked to Degas and Yana. "Oh, um its okay. BUt Mr. Whamon, think you can help us now?" Zachary asked, looking around at the museum. "What happened here? I mean, how did you get here along with all the other digimon?"

A hum came from the whale as he began to explain. With his words, they could get a clear picture of what was going on.

"Hmm... well not too long ago I was happily swimming along, about to go to the plankton buffet -- when all of a sudden i swam into a strange data cloud in the middle of the ocean. I was falling after that. The data cloud just opened out of nowhere-- and next thing I knew, I was hanging from the ceiling here. If I had to guess, some moron tried to open a digital gate and it went array." WHamon explained.

That caught Zachary's attention at that part. "A digital gate? What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"I mean, someone-- another digimon-- tried to get to the human world but did it wrong and now the rift betwee worlds created more rifts than intended." Whamon explained. "Its either only doable by a very powerful digimon-- OR several digimon working together."

Zachary then turned to Yana and their new friend. "... Like the dinosaurs we all ran across upon entering here!" Zachary surmised. He was willing to bet the dinosaur digimon were responsible for all of this.

Degas stood slightly off to the spray and hummed getting his hands wet in the dripping water and tending his mane. Pushing it up for volume. Humidity could be bad but water hydrates hair. You just got to work with it.

Well at least the whale seemed happier. He so wanted to make another Finding Nemo joke by speaking whale to the whale. 'You are just full of lame jokes today.

"Dinos?" Degas said questioningly. Boy what had he missed. That sounded awesome. 'Only you.'

"So we beat them up." Degas commented. "I'd recommend avoiding the storage room. There is a tentacled man eater in there. and not the good kind." Degas said chuckling.

"Let's go get Fred Flinstone on their asses." Degas said ready to kick butt. After all they had interrupted his fun time. 'That is the only reason isn't it.' Yeppers. 'That was a lame joke by the way.' Lame was his middle name. 'Not something to be proud of.' He was always proud.

Degas headed for the stairs. His large legs easily allowing him to stride up them. All gung ho and ready to go. He'd go up to fight them wither the others followed or not.

The card gamer looked pretty illuminated as he heard Ari's suggestion, clearly he hadn't thought of that before and more important than that, had a way to make it happen. But then, even that plan wouldn't get off that easy as his proud partner refused to be used as a glorified fire hose. Beerghamon's response to Zach's request was nothing short of hilarious, but even then Ari managed to it all back to a modest giggle, promptly pitching her two cents to help the poor tamer get his partner to help out with the plan, "Come on, warrior, it's for the greater good~", she teased. Fortunately he didn't need much more convincing than hearing Zachary nag him endlessly, and he had soon slashed his chosen card, a Shellmon. Fortunately, helping out the Whamon paid off, and once he had his bath, he gladly explained how he had ended up in there. Apparently he was swimming freely in the digital world and accidentally swam into a data cloud that lead... here? But why here of all places? Though he had answered some questions, Whamon had unwittingly raised new ones, but at least now they had a clue. Ari nodded at the explanation, pointing out yet another obvious cause: "This means all those Digimon gathered up on the digital world might have been responsible for the rifts, at least one of them." "But even if we beat them all up... Will that send them back to the Digital world?", Yana asked the million dollar question with a doubtful look, loud enough that Whamon could hear and answer if he knew

Degas however was quick to just run off the moment the conversation went on and after the bath-- he ran off, attempting to find the source of the problem first hand. But that kind of approach was hap-hazard as Zachary called out to try and stop him. "Hold on a minute! You have no clue where the enemy really is? Besides, its too dangerous to go alone!" he shouted in vain but it seemed Degas was determined to get a move on.

However, this kind of situation required careful thinking and action. Right now their immediate goal was to get to the cafeteria, resupply their digimon energy and gain information on why the digital field was up. Lucky for them, they were half there! Thanks to Whamon, he was being a big help to that side of things.

Ani hit the nail on the head in her question as Whamon spoke up. "I can't say for certain-- but this much I know. One digimon must be consolidating all the energy of the others to bring them all through to this side. But I know if you stop that one digimon, all the others brought into the digital field will be returned home-- at least those who are not destroyed anyway." he explained.

Zachary smiled. That was good news. "So if we stop him, we can send all of them back in one swoop?" Zachary asked, a tone of hope in his voice.

A large hum escaped Whamon. "Yes, but there is something important you should probably know," the whale said. "The fact all of this is happening is very clear, he is trying to bring all the digimon with him into the real world. The fact many other digimon besides this person's friends, means he took a lot of energy to create this digital field. So strong it destorted time and space around it. The good news is, the damage they do in here won't amount to much in the real world."

Bagheeramon gave a low growl as he didn't like where this was going. "And the bad news...?"

Whamon spoke, his tone less encouraging. "Well the bad news is, this place is meant to stabilize digimon inside. Once they adjusted to the real world, the field won't be needed and disappear-- allowing them to freely go through. So you need to find this enemy before the field disappears. "

Zachary's eyes widened and he turned to Bagheeramon, Ani and Yana-- concerned to the fact they might all be on a clock. "Great... how much time do you think we got?" he asked.

Whamon shook his head, causing the wiring hangings that suspended him to creak. "Can't say for sure, but considering how many digimon are here, perhaps a matter of hours. But I wouldn't take my word for it, " he said.

At that moment, Zachary heard a beeping from his digivice-- as it would soon appear on both Yana's and Degas' digivices as well in their own function. It seemed to sense it, and taking them out they could see it on the screen of the digivice-- a small numeral clock, with an hour, minute, and second timer.

And it was counting down...

2:28:32...2:28:31...2:28:30...

Zachary's face pailed a bit as he showed Yana the clock on his device. "Um... Yana, I think we should try to solve this within two hours, cause I don't wanna know what is gonna happen when this hits zero!"

They were now on a timer, meaning they had to solve this problem before their time was up. Still it didn't change their plans. "We still need to regain our strength. Let's head to the cafeteria and get our energy back up-- then we will worry about defeating the enemy." Bagheeramon reminded them.

Degas heard Zachary's cries to wait. He paused a moment but didn't slow. It seemed their dino friends had already started searching for them. He could hear their claws ticking on the steps as they descended. Doors opened along the way and closed after a few seconds.

It seemed they were searching each floor. So by the time they reached him they would be few. So he just stood on the landing waiting. Until they spotted him with a yell they rushed.

"Fist of the Beast King." Degas purred and launched a lion head at the forward agumon dissolving it to data. He then took his sword and slashed the rest one right after another.

Looks like he was playing defence instead of going on the offense. At least until the other two were finished doing what ever it was they were doing.
