STATISTICS (( neutral )) HP: 80 AP: 3 OFF: 12 DEF: 8 AGT: 12 SPC: --- SANITY STABLE TORMENTS ○ Grudgeful Wrath - The individual has bottled up a lot of hatred and animosity for those who have wronged him. While capable of being amicable with most individuals, they hold a grudge to the bitter end. (Level 2) ○ Regret - The individual despite their pessimistic outlook for a lot of things holds a lot of respect for his allies. Stemming from the loss of his partner, they are frightened deep down of losing anyone else. (Level 1) .. Insufferable - The individual fully believes they are a genius. In ways, they are... but they can be rather snobbish about it too. They have a tendency to ignore their own mistakes while pointing out others'. (Level 1) PERSONALITY Hyde could be considered the very embodiment of "Insufferable Genius". Sporting a genius level IQ, and a rather well toned (if not gangly) body, his sense of superiority if through the roof and he will not drop a chance to let you know it. He tends to look down on others (it IS possible though to gain his respect. It's just hard to), and tends to throw around insults left right and center. Despite his sense of superiority, he's not without his flaws (I mean apart from his asshole-ish tendencies). He's a raging alcoholic, though oddly enough this doesn't seem to impede his intelligence. In fact, he seems to get nicer when he's drunk. He also has a habit of not thinking things through, often performing experiments on the fly and often causing a disaster as a result (though he's often quick to fix it as well). Despite his many flaws, he does have some good points. As mentioned earlier, it is possible to earn his respect, and he does recognize talent in others. Granted, he'll still insult you, but to a much less malicious degree. Also, despite his callousness with over his experiments, he draws the line at senseless destruction, and can be actually heroic at times. Outside of his experimenting and adventures, he's not just a stuffy scientist. You'll easily find him drinking and partying, just as often as you'll find him experimenting. Underneath that jerkish facade, he's really a decent guy, though it's buried DEEP beneath a layer of pure asshole. Due to recent events, Hyde has become filled with rage and thoughts of revenge, after losing his partner Weiss. While he can maintain a facade of joviality, there's no denying the slowly burning rage hidden within, and heaven help anyone who gets in his way. Unlike most tamers, Hyde is happy to fight alongside his digimon, refusing to let them fight alone, and willing to put himself at risk to protect them.
APPEARANCE Nicholas stands at an almost intimidating 6'1'', with a surprisingly lean (yet well toned) build. Long black hair falls half way down his back, and his remaining eye, his right, is a light grey colour. His left is covered by a white eye patch, having lost it during an incident in the digital world in his teens. His features are sharp and he was rather prominent teeth, often showing when he smiles. While his outfit does tend to change up from time top time, he tends to favour wearing white, particularly a white coat with form fitting sleeves, leaving some of his chest exposed and with a high collar. He matches the ensemble with a pair of white pants and a pair of tall black boots. After his battle with Jeremiah, Hyde has lost his right arm, having to have it amputated at the shoulder due to severe injury. The arm has been replaced by a prosthetic designed by himself and Vulcanusmon, The Dealer Arm BIOGRAPHY For as long as Nicholas could remember, he was surrounded by idiots. Granted, there were many smart people in his life, but when you possess a genius level intelligence, everyone is stupid by comparison, and it didn't take long for him to let his smarts get into his head. Granted, his smug attitude also resulted in him making a lot of enemies when he was in school, which led to him honing his body along with his mind. If anyone was going to take a crack at him, he would take a crack at them right back. His penchant for trying to one up his teachers often resulted in...complications in the classroom, often getting him expelled before his parents finally decided to simply home school him. At least he treated his parents with respect. But it wasn't long before Nicholas became jaded with the world, feeling like he was confined to this mundane world. Then, at the age of sixteen, it happened. Nicholas was tinkering with one of his inventions (he can't remember what it was) before he was pulled into the digital world, discovering his two partners Weiss and Sable, a pair of twin Pawn Chessmon. What would follow throughout the following years would be a set of crazy adventures and experiments, one of which would cost Nicholas his left eye (he doesn't let it get him down though). The only problem though was that this also happened to be the time the Olympus 12 went to war with the Seven. While Hyde never fought in the war proper, when there's a digital world wide war going on, you can't help but caught in the crossfire sometimes. During this time, he also attended university, gaining a masters in biology and physics, not the he simply limits himself to those subjects. Over the years he has developed a reputation for himself, one in the digital world for his exploits, and one in the scientific community in the real world. Both are not shy on mentioning how much of an ass he is though. Recent Events Events have taken a downward turn for Hyde. While taking part in a tournament hosted in Triton City, Hyde had the misfortune of being paired against DATS operative Jeremiah Regis. During the battle, Hyde was almost killed, lost his right arm, and to make matters worse, lost his partner Weiss when Jeremiah's partner, Kong, devoured him. Having survived the brutal attack, and recovering from his injuries, a burning fury has formed inside Hyde, one he plans to use to burn his partner's killers, and anyone who gets in his way. | NICKNAME Dr. Jerkass. APPEARANCE PERSONALITY Weiss is steadfast and loyal, always willing to assist in her tamer's endevours, and like his twin Sable, is always ready to lay his life on the line to protect them. That being said, she can be considered the more impulsive of the two twins, often not only encouraging Nicholas' zany experiments, but often throwing out ideas to 'improve' them. Always supportive, she's more willing to jump into the action, rather than take it slow. After the loss of her brother, Sable has become more determined than ever to protect her tamer, as well as avenge her lost twin. BACKGROUND Sable has been alongside her twin Weiss for as long as anyone could remember. The two Pawn Chessmon really just appeared one day, and have proceeded to wander around the digital world since. That was until they ran into their future master Nicholas Hyde. Since then, the twins have always been by Nicholas' side, assisting him and protecting him on their adventures. Wherever Nicholas is, there's no doubt Sable and her brother aren't too far behind. Recently, Sable lost her twin Weiss during the tournament in Triton City. While Hyde is in danger, her stats are increased by 1. ○ ATTACK VELOCITY special - neutral A knight's speed is their greatest asset, and Sable makes full use of this. Any buffs applied to Sable's AGT also apply to her damage. ACTIVE ABILITIES ○ BIG DARTS physical - Metal BIG DARTS: Sable launches her lance skyward (a new lance forming in her hands afterwards). The next post after this lance as been launched, it comes down on the opponent from above, dissolving into data on impact. If target is AIRBORNE when the attack hits, it's treated as if the target's defense is reduced by half and are rooted for one post. Debuffs and effects that effect mobility from ultimate level digimon are reduced by 1 post. Champion level effects are reduced by 2 posts. Rookie level and lower have no effect. ACTIVE ABILITIES ○ STRONGHOLD physical - metal Using her massive size, Sable charges at the opponent, running them over. Damage is based on AGT instead of OFF. DAMAGE: 25 COOLDOWN: 1 ○ ROOK GATLING special - metal Sable opens fire on the enemy with all the gun ports on her body (of which there are a LOT). Not only does her size allow for a long range, but the sheer number of guns allows her to target multiple opponents around her, the damage dividing up amongst them equally. Can spend one Mamentum to pierce up to 20 DEF. DAMAGE: 30 COOLDOWN: 2 ○ CASTLE WALLS physical - metal sable hunkers down and braces herself for any attack. Sable's defense is increased by 30 for the next three posts. However, during this duration, Sable is unable to move from her position, and thus unable to avoid attacks. DAMAGE: 0 COOLDOWN: 3 (once duration ends) ○ FORTRESS STRIKE physical - metal Sable brings her arms back and strikes the ground with all her might, firing the gunports on her hands at the same time. Upon connecting, the orb explodes in a flash of light, and although it does no damage, it stuns the target for one post. Any enemies within hearing distance (50 meters), find their vision shrouded in darkness, blinding them for 1 posts. Effects Ultimate level and below. DAMAGE: 0 COOLDOWN: 3 ○ WHITHERING ARMOUR special - neutral With some incantations from Bishop Chessmon, a holy circle appears on the target, remaining there for 2 posts. While this circle is active, the opponent's defense is reduced by 30 (minimum 1) DAMAGE: 0 COOLDOWN: 2 ○ DIVINE INTERVENTION special - light Bishop Chessmon conjures up a sheild of light in order to defend against an ultimate level or lower attack.
