An Age Old Riddle
As Ryu, Vee and Duke made their way about the forest the three had just stopped by the ancient tree once more. No matter how far they traveled how crazy their journey had been, the tree seemed to call them and when it did somehow some way they'd arrive back to it. A warm smile would pass. All three of them climbing up it's roots an sitting to gaze out across the sunset.
Flash back [hr]
A warm and nostalgic feeling set in, for Ryu it was the memories of the three long ago before their deletion. It was Dukemon, Ulforceveemon and himself sitting there upon the tree's root. Like three kids just admiring the sun set. The two Royal knight digimon on either side of the younger teen seemed happy. Feet dangling they'd chat.
Dukemon would turn,
Dukemon said as his brother spoke,
Laughing he'd shake his head and wave
Ryuu arched a brow and made a face,
The teen said as either laughed heavily then both in usion called him out on his cockiness.
He'd laugh
This location meant a lot to them and it seemed each time they met there a new page was added to their story. So without any further delay Guilmon and Veemon would slowly drift off an fall asleep resting upon Ryuu's chest then fall onto his lap. Hands rubbing upon teir hea for a bit he too would slowly nod off.
It was sometime later he'd awake with his partners to bickering. Raising up to his feet he'd scout about til he saw just at the forests edge where all the commotion was. Jumping down and sliding off a root he'd land and he and his digimon walked over to the two boys and their goburimon.
As the boys, shouted the male wold snap his fingers and the guilmon and veemon would appear beside him.
They would both shout in unison
Looking back to both goburimon, Ryuu would look to the Veemon as laughed.
Hearing the words they all laughed as a digimon not far off in the back peaked out from behind the tree a the words.
A strange flicker would have caught Guilmon's eye as he walked up to the boys and looked closer at them then the digimon hiding at a distance. All at once he'd slap their hands and take the doll walking by.
Ryuu and Veemon shouting at him.
Ignoring them and the now raging boys he'd hand the doll to the digimon by the tree.
As she took it and ran off Guilmon growled some turning to them. As he charged in slashing at them; breaking the disguise.
The Egg of Knowledge
Flash back [hr]
"I remember when we first saw this place..."
Dukemon would turn,
"Yea it was right after we ran into kawagumon and nearly got eaten..."
Dukemon said as his brother spoke,
"But thanks to your power we didn't. I never did thank you for that brother."
Laughing he'd shake his head and wave
"No, it was thanks to your plan, if we hadn't used the enviroement in such a way we'd have lost and Ryuu would have been dead."
Ryuu arched a brow and made a face,
"your both crazy I would have clocked him one with these guns and we'd have won."
The teen said as either laughed heavily then both in usion called him out on his cockiness.
"You were eight..."
He'd laugh
"Yea I was eight, but still built due to the lack of myostain. But maybe your right I definitely wasn't as big as I am now."
The three would laugh as they soon returned their gaze to the sun set. Reality can be stranger then fiction

"Alright, to see which one is lying we will simply have to take the doll and test it for DNA...its a shape tho that means we need to cut it open an such."
Hearing the words they all laughed as a digimon not far off in the back peaked out from behind the tree a the words.
"Don't be stupids that won't work Dolls don't have DNA...besides e both have Goburimon."

"The doll belongs to her you guys. I noticed a flicker and when I walked up I smelt the odor of a digimon not boys. These aren't tamers fighting they are Ogremon and Fugamon. They were fighting over palmon's doll."
As she took it and ran off Guilmon growled some turning to them. As he charged in slashing at them; breaking the disguise.

A faint chuckle passed as they folded their arms,
"You think your so clever, not to mention brave taking our doll. Lets teach him a lesson boys."
It was then with that he'd here a high pitched squeal coming from his device as Guilmon engage the enemy, Veemon helping. Strikes made against one of the red and green ogre. Dodging strike befre throwing punches an claw strikes of their own. The Goburimon the first to go. Yet Veemon and Guilmon seemed tired.
Arriving at the tree's base a light would radiate as he thought he found his crest. But in reality it was a digimental of knowledge. Eyes shifting he'd turn back and wonder who it was or. Raising his arm he'd shout. As guilmon charged in at the two whom had knocked veemon with their clubs causing him to be in pain and dizzy.
He'd say as Guilmon glew and storming forth with great strength and strong hands , pinning them against the tree it was with a swift grip he'd fling them as they ran off shouting.
Degenerating Guilmon would grin then turn back to Ryuu and ask.
Veemon walking over rubbing his head he'd groan.

Degenerating Guilmon would grin then turn back to Ryuu and ask.
"How did that happen and why the digiegg of Knowledge I'm not smart...."
Veemon walking over rubbing his head he'd groan.
"Smarter then us. We didn't notice the palmon. Your not as dumb as you think brother, just a bit ore savage then I...none the less congrats on your new transformation."
He'd say as the two and ryuu once more head for the tree climbing it and resting for a nap. Waking hours later Ryuu would woner if it was all a dream or if it really happened. Looking to his device the latter was true,
"Good work Duke."
He'd say patting his head then look to Veemon,
"I'm sure we will find you one soon enough."
