Team Focus: Protecting the human world from rogue Digimon and sending unregistered Digimon back to the Digital World.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Area of Operation: Major HQ in Tokyo, with regional chapters in major cities across the globe
Description: DATS was founded many years ago with the intention of keeping humanity safe from rampaging rogue Digimon that have come to Earth. The leaders at the time used various methods to smoke out hiding Digimon before reverting them into Digitamas and forcing them back to the Digital World. Now, however, DATS often finds it easier to pacify and apprehend a Digimon, and erase its memory of its time in the human world without having to revert it to a Digitama. This is all thanks to powerful advances in technology and a fear for human safety, though it's not readily available or practical in some scenarios. Using these methods, and the technology of a new era, DATS aims at peace between the Digital World and the human world, making sure that all Digimon on this side are registered while keeping the rogues away. The World Council funds the organization, with different chapters having different Heads of Operation.
Equipment:
- D.A.T.S Body Armor: Each D.A.T.S member is fitted with a set of recursive Kevlar body armor, enhanced with chrome digizoid webbing. This body armor prevents damage to the wearer, and gets routinely upgraded as you face tougher and tougher challenges. It allows you to withstand one attack of your level, or two of any level below. (Unlocked)
- DATS Hoverbike Interceptor: An advanced piece of tech that, while looking somewhat retro, is highly reliable. Reaching speeds of over 190 MPH, this vehicle's primary purpose is to catch up to a fleeing suspect. It's capable of short bursts of flight, though nothing higher than 4 stories. It is also equipped with an electrified net that will incapacitate humans and rookie-level digimon, should they be hit by it. (Requires 10 members)
- DATS Digimon Taser and Lockbox (The DTL): A shotgun-esque device, used to pacify unruly digimon. Fires a cartridge that disrupts a shot digimon's data structure, causing it to glitch out for a while, assuming the digimon is susceptible. Effective on Ultimate or lower digimon, though partnered digimon can shake it off easier. Also comes with a metal container for the digimon, in order to capture and relocate it. (Requires 15 members)
Traits:
- Squad Tactics: When in any city, D.A.T.S members get a 10% increase to all stats per D.A.T.S member in thread. (Unlocked)
Team Ability:
- Most Wanted: The D.A.T.S Leader and 2IC can add up to 10 people/digimon to a most wanted list, if they have broken the law. Anyone on this list takes an extra 50% damage from any D.A.T.S Squad member, and can be tracked in any major city. (Requires 12 members)
