"Beaches and friendships" (Adam and Daisuke)

It was once again mission time for the trio. Adam and his twin Renamon Renae and Remy had been helping rebuild some of Terabyte city after the huge attack that had happened when something both strange and amazing had happened. While the three heroes worked to fix the destruction,Adam's digivice went off showing him that a new digivice signal had appeared in the digital world and was nearby. Not wanting to miss out on making a new friend Adam had Renae Armor digivolve to Halsemon. The tamer and his other digimon then hopped on Renae's back and flew off into the sky towards the signal.

"I wonder what kind of person they will be! Maybe we could get them to join our team and be our friend!"

Their tamers enthusiasm caused both digimon to laugh as Renae landed on the white sanded beach of Coela coast. Once Adam and Remy got off the evolved digimon's back, the pink stream of armor energy flew out of her turning her back into her rookie state. The energy then flew back into Adam's green sided d-3 which he hung around his neck. Adam then just smiled as he looked around to see if anyone was around. Renae just giggled at her tamer and patted his head.

"Let's get looking."

Adam and Remy nodded and the trio seperated to check different parts of the beach. As they looked for the signals source, the wind began to blow a light breeze which caused Adam's signature green cloth hooded trench coat to blow back a bit. Upon close inspection someone would see that the back of the rather worn trench coat had all of the legendary crests in a circle with the crest of light in the middle as the symbol of the lightsworn group which were the digidestined of the modern era. Adam was also wearing a pair of cargo shorts, a sleeveless black shirt and had a food pouch hooked to his hip. As he continued to walk, Adam cupped his hands around his mouth to amplify his voice.

"Hello!? Is anyone here!? We won't hurt you! We are to help you!"

"Can I please come out now?" the voice asked from inside the bag, causing the young man carrying the bag to shake his head briefly.

"Not yet my friend. There's someone approaching. Best to make sure there's no threat before letting you run around without care. Don't want you getting hurt buddy," he replied before turning his gaze skyward again. He was cautious if only to a point however as he shared the voice's desire to not be hidden to any degree. There had just been some unpleasantness with a few Gostumons lately that left him a tad weary as to what might happen in the digital world. His Silver D3 had alerted him to the approach of a digivice just moments prior and he immediately opted for cover. What might normally be something he'd be okay with was instead something that made him wait and think it through. It was better to not be in an ambush of any kind at this point. Danger to his friend was not something he wanted, much less liked. As a pair of Digimon and a tamer landed, however, he sensed he might not be in as much trouble as he thought.

"Over here! Kept hidden cause we were attacked recently," the young man said, his eyes showing no signs of the weary mindset he had only moments prior. He felt movement in his bag before his friend hopped out without even getting the okay, knocking his D3 off the strap which helped the young Digimon to start running towards the trio even more.

"Hi there, I'm Cheemon, and that's my tamer Daisuke," the small, catlike Digimon said, his big gold eyes looking intently at the three that had arrived while pointing to the young man who had jogged over to where they were, his D3 in hand as he looked at Cheemon and shook his head over the youthful exuberance the Digimon had.

The trio all smiled when a young man quickly called out to them. The trio quickly ran over to the man who seemed to have dark skin and long white hair, it was nice to be greeted so nicely instead of being treated like enemies. When the small cat like digimon popped out of the bag, Renae the yellow Renamon couldn't help but kneel down to examine how adorable looking he was while Remy just kinda stared indifferentlybut had a smile. Seeing this Adam just shook his head with a smile and when the strangers finished introducing themselves Adam just gave the tamer a two fingered solute and a big goofy grin.

"It's nice to meetcha. My name's Adam and these are my twin Renamon Remy and Renae. I'm sorry you were attacked. If we had been there we would have helped you fight them off. I know it seems random that we came looking for you out of the blue like this but ya see, me and my two digimon are the leaders of a group called the lightsworn. It's a group that's dedicated to keeping the digital world safe from all manner of threats be they evil digimon,evil tamers or natural disasters and the like. We are kind of like the legendary heroes of old called the digidestined."

As her tamer spoke, Renae couldn't stop herself from reaching out to pet the little cat cheemon. As she did she looked up at Cheemon's partner with a small but warm and welcoming smile.

"Adam has been here with us in the digital world for seven years so if you have any questions about the strange world you found yourself in, how it works, digivolution or anything like that he's your jungle boy."

Adam then spun around so that Daisuke could see the group symbol on the back of his Jacket before spinning back around with a big goofy grin. Remy then happily stepped forward.

"If you're hungry, we can easily catch us all some fresh fish to eat and cook. We can sit down and get to know each other."

"The Digidestined huh? I heard about them, but to think there's another group similar to them running around. That's pretty cool," Daisuke said as Cheemon seemed to be socializing with one of the two Renamon. In truth it was really just one of them petting him which he seemed to enjoy. He was such a kid that it wasn't even funny but still Daisuke couldn't fault him entirely. He hadn't been out of the egg too long when the two had met so there was bound to be a lot of youthful energy and playfulness about him. He was a cat based Digimon as well and he always noted a sense of playfulness about them while he had been here in the Digital World. It was almost like real cats in that sense.

Cheemon smiled and seemed to purr some as he was petted by the Renamon. If there was one thing he really enjoyed, it was being petted. He glanced over at Dai-kun as he was talking to the tamer for the two Digimon. A group that is out to protect the Digiworld? That sounded like something they should join into without hesitation. Then again they had gotten through so far on their own... Well friends made the world go round, and that was enough for Cheemon's mind to settle on joining this group no matter how many times he had to badger Dai-kun about it. There was just the matter on if they would get invited to join or not. Cheemon hoped they would, but so far there really wasn't an invitation given out.

"Would we be able to join you team?" Cheemon then asked the boy, leaving Daisuke with a slight shake of his head before looking at Adam with an apologetic expression.

"He's still kinda young. Then again I suppose he does have an interesting idea. We've had a similar mindset but a team of just me and him can only get so far with what we're trying to do," he admitted, briefly wondering if joining this team was the right idea before dismissing his concern as unnecessary. Of course it was the right thing to join with the Lightsworn. Similar goals meant that it was better to work together than be spread out and not accomplishing a whole lot. Besides, it might mean that he'd actually start to get some friends beyond Cheemon in this world.

Adam's smile got even bigger as the Cheemon who was happily purring thanks to the attention and affection he was getting from Renae asked if they could join the team. Adam just nodded happily and quickly knelt down to Cheemon's level and quickly but gently petted him in appreciation. The young boy then stood up and looked Daisuke with his usual happy grin.

"If you guys wanna join you are more then welcome! My hopes for the team is that not only to become large enough so we can defend all of the digital world at once but also that we become more of a family then just a team. Like my partners said, I have been living in the jungles in the west of the digital world for seven years and up until recently my digimon and I have been doing our best to defend the world all on our own."

As if on cue, Renae stopped petting Cheemon and stood up straight, her face going serious as she crossed her arms.

"Recently, evil digimon have been appearing, each one stronger then the last. Not to long ago one of the digital worlds largest cities was attacked by a large group of evil champion level digimon and their corrupted rookie level underlings. Something is happening to the digimon of this world and corrupting them and we believe that a new tyrant named Rustmon is the cause. Not even my brother and I who not only can go into our champion states but also have the legendary ability to armor digivolve can stand up to such a massive force by ourselves."

This was when Remy who had been using some sticks and reeds from nearby to make a basket to catch fish in stepped up with an also serious look on his face.

"That's when we decided that we needed to find and gather like minded humans and digimon to take up the fight and take down the foes that no solo human or digimon ever could. This world belongs to everyone digimon and humans alike. We refuse to allow one single bad digimon to destroy what we have spent centuries to forge."

Adam nodded and smiled.

"We will gladly teach you all we know and help you and cheemon rise to the next level if you fight beside us as allys and friends."
