Rukia Date | Spirit DIGIMON |
PERSONALITY Which had came first? Her love for all things Japan? Or storytelling? Well, don't expect a straight answer to come from her. At least, not before hearing a quick story she came up with on the spot. And even then, unless you play along yourself, she might not even feel like just giving you a direct answer. Although if you're smart, you'd realize that the story she comes up with are filled with half truths and lies. It's a weird habit of hers, and it would be a lie to say she hadn't ever gotten on the nerves of some of her classmates. But it's what she enjoys, so are you really going to tell her to just quit it? Don't mistake her for not knowing when to take things seriously though, as she does know life isn't just all fun and games. She just rather lives it her way.
APPEARANCE Sixteen years old, but she's shorter than most girls. Not an unusual sight living in Japan, and it actually enhances her cuteness. At work, her hazel eyes are usually covered in contacts, going along with the persona she created there. Her long pink hair is usually tied into two pigtails, which are both noticeably curly, and reaches down to the sleeves of an outfit. A headband with cat ears can also usually be found ontop, since she works in a maid cafe, a popular job here in Japan. When it comes to outfits, you can find her in dresses, usually with leggings underneath, as her personas fall in line with how she normally is, only dramatized to go along with her storytelling. As for voice, most male patrons, fellow otaku, would describe it as cute. Though it's an exaggeration, as her real voice is actually quite calm and serious. INVENTORY ○ Cellphone - Brand is the rival of a certain company. ○ Cat Ears - + 5 in cuteness. ○ Purse - Has money. ○GOLDEN ANKH - A golden relic that glows with a mysterious power. Holding it brings good luck, but it is incredibly frail. Activating the item grants a double bit bonus at the start of a thread (rewarded at the end of the thread) and increased power to all healing abilities used by the user's Digimon. Two time use only. ○ THE MARK - The Mark is a branding on one's body on their skin. This mark cannot be removed or deactivated at any time, nor can it be traded. There are only a few ways to purify this Mark, and traditional means will not work. The Mark selects somebody's soul for the taking, and will not stop until it has been claimed. This Mark gives one a 50% power bonus when using Dark Digivolution - but also haunts the marked with phantoms of all those they have slain in the past. Every thread the user has with this item has a chance of being attacked by phantoms of their past, which will take physical form and hunt the marked until defeated. BIOGRAPHY It all started on one boring and hot summer day, where she and her brother had to break their Saturday morning routine of watching anime. Their mother had a job interview to get to, and since their father was already at work, the two then children, had to come along. The office her mother was trying to get a job at, was pretty busy, and the people here were so focused. Not an unusual thing, but nevertheless, it was amusing to watch these different facial expressions. Her brother however, who was 10 years old, two years older than she was at the time, wanted to make passing time more interesting. "Wanna play a game?" "How do you play it?" "You make up a story about one of these guys, and what you think their life is like. I'll go first." So her brother, pointing out a woman taking a sip of her tea, then furiously typing, made up this story about what he thought she was like. He came up with the idea that tea gave her superpowers, and that was how she was able to type so fast. Without it, she couldn't get work done. Of course, she had been impressed. It hadn't taken him long at all to come up with the story, and there was also her admiration for him, what with him being the older sibling between the two of them. So she gave it a try as well, pointing out a man who seemed to just be browsing the internet, unlike the other workers. However, she simply brought up how he was putting off work because he didn't like his job. "You're doing it wrong. You have to make up a lie and a truth. That's what makes the game interesting." "But you didn't say that earlier. And lying is wrong." The two siblings had argued, with her brother trying to convince her that it was okay, since they were just playing a game to pass the time. But by the time he managed to convince her, their mother had came out of her meeting, telling them happily that it was time to go home. The topic had been quickly changed to whether or not she got the job, which she did, and whether or not they were going to eat anything special. So of course, she had quickly forgotten about their game. And her brother hadn't mentioned it either, until next Saturday had came around, and their favorite show had ended, leaving them with nothing to do other than studying in their shared bedroom. "Hey, remember that game we played? Wanna try again?" "Uh huh." Bored of studying and wanting to take a break, she had agreed. Although her brother added a shorter time limit to think of something, since their mother might come back and check up on them, along with the conditions being different. What with it being only them. She had been allowed to go first, and after looking around their room, decided to place her pencil behind her ear, and clutch her book. She came up with the idea that she was a reporter, looking for someone to interview, with the lie being to replay back someone's voice. Although he didn't like her mimicking his voice, he couldn't say that the idea he came up with, was bad. But she took longer than he had been hoping to see from her, and told her to practice more after doing his turn. The siblings had argued again, with her saying it was better than the first time, maybe even more so than what he had came up with. Their arguing only stopped when their mother had caught them not doing their studies. If there was one thing the two could agree on however, it was not letting their mother know about this. So together, they lied, and told their mother that they were just arguing about how to say an english word. An obvious lie, but she didn't really continue asking about it. Just as long as they stopped. After she left, her brother had admitted how badly that could have gone, and that he still needed to practice as well. From that moment on, the two had kept playing their game, only bringing it up during boredom, and hiding it from their mother. By middle school, with the knowledge Drama Club was a thing, she had became better at it. Enough to make her brother admit it, although he still brought up how he had grew too old to play the game, which was one of the things they disagreed with. Now, it was a habit of hers incorporating this storytelling into conversations, which watching anime helped with. | NICKNAME Ru, and Ruki. AGE 16 GENDER Female HEIGHT 4'8" WEIGHT 95 lb. Salamon | Base Form |
APPEARANCE She looks like any other Salamon when taking this form. PERSONALITY As a Salamon, she plays the role of a detective, using the heightened senses in this form to help her out. This persona of hers believes that everyone is a suspect, including those she knows. It is also apparently her duty to solve a problem on her own, since her friends have some kind of plot armor related to the story and problem she comes up with. At the end of the day though, everything is ok, and she mentally files the problem under another job done. BACKGROUND When she first turns into this form, it came as a total surprise, like the other forms. After figuring out what she was though, and whether or not she could talk, coming up with a backstory was pretty easy.
