feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Sigma Mountains. The place where it pretty much all began to Katsuo. He was quite curious about the place for many reasons, but today he was re-visiting it for the purpose of searching the place where he had fallen into and found the Spirit of Thuder, Aegiomon. He just had a sort of hunch that had been bothering him for a longer period of time. He had already took the form of an Aegiomon when he stepped into the Digital World today and was right now looking down on the hole, leading into the chamber where the Totem of the Thunder Spirit was located in. "What're you looking for in here, Katsuo?" The spirit asked, showing some curiosity with his tone. That was a bit rare, as the thing was a rather calm and nonchalant in personality. "I just want to check something that's had me curious." The young man replied and leaped down from the hole, landing softly the drop of 10 meters, bending his knees when landing. Getting out of his crouching stance, Katsuo began looking around the sizable chamber. The places hadn't changed at all, which wasn't honestly all that surprising, but kind of a boring thing to witness. "Anyways, time to start searching." He sighed, trying to not sound disappointed. On the bright side, at least there wasn't hostile Digimon around. Inspecting the floor and the walls of the chamber was a pain honestly, as the place was rather wide, so checking for anything hollow or loose took a rather long time. To the point that the young man felt like quitting honestly and was getting rather frustrated. "Damn it..." He sighed. With the spirit having been quiet for the whole time of the inspection, it was a surprise to hear it speak again. "Why'd you think you would find anything?" Its words echoing inside the young man's head, with Katsuo being able to just imagine the raised brow. "Well... to be honest, it was purely because of a hunch. No real reason." He mumbled, feeling a bit dumb now because of hindsight. A chuckle escaped from the spirit. It really seemed amused. "Don't give up now. You could've just missed something." The Aegiomon suggested. Did it know something? With the spirits words Katsuo decided to continue. It after all didn't have a habit of saying anything honestly pointless, so encouragement (of sorts) like that had to have a point to it. *** "Well I'll be damned." The young man laughed, his hand against the wall. It was no wonder that he hadn't immediately noticed anything, but after a couple of times of going through proved to be worth it. The wall on this part had just a slightly different tone to it to everything else, implying that it was made later. Being way too patient to think too much about it, Katsuo pulled his fist back and punched the wall as hard as he could and with a blast of dust and rubble flying, a small chamber was revealed to be hidden. "You knew about this, didn't you, Aegiomon?" Katsuo asked, already knowing the answer. He was a bit pissed about the spirit not telling straight away. "No idea what you're talking about." The spirit answered in a complete monotone, but it was pointless for it to fake ignorance. "Whatever. I'll forgive you this time." Katsuo mumbled, with a chuckle echoing inside his head from the Aegiomon spirit. Inspecting the small chamber, Katsuo found an egg-like item from there. Describing it wasn't too easy, but it did seem to have small wings on it and thunder markings. It was odd though. Though it was hard to describe it, there was one word that from the very beginning popped into his mind. Determination @anystaff ■ 628 ■ -insert undertale joke here- |
