this was it! It was time for the trio's first mission as the leaders of the lightsworn. It all started while The trio was busy shopping in Terabyte city. The fun times were soon interrupted when a young Gomamon came running up to the group while they were heading out of the city after seeing the symbols on the back of Adam's trade mark Jacket. The young Gomamon began to panic and tell them that his home of Borealis City had recently been under attack by a corrupted Thunderballmon during the nights. The Gomamon went on to say that he managed to escape thanks to the help of an old fridgimon who sacrificed herself to save him. That's when Adam decided he had enough!
The young tamer had heard enough. Adam decided to have Renae armor digivolve to Halsemon. The group including the Gomamon then flew toward the cold north in hopes of reaching the city of Borealis before the sun went down and the Thunderballmon attacked again. As the group got closer to the frozen city however it was clear that they would be cutting it really close. As the group flew into the cities boarders Adam looked up at the sky to see that the already grey snow clouds were beginning to turn black and stormy. As Adam shivered he looked up and spoke through his chattering teeth.
"Lo..looks like it might storm!"
As Adam looked back down he saw something rushing for them. It was a an electric attack! Before Adam could warn the group however the attack struck Renae causing the group to begin falling out of the sky and towards the soft snow. As Adam fell he felt the furry arms of Remy as he grabbed onto his tamer and curled his body around him as they crashed into the snow. Renamon and the Gomamon landed nearby with a hard thud, Renae returning to her rookie state and being knocked out cold. Once they were back on the ground, Remy and Adam stood up rubbing their heads.
"Talk about turbulence."
As he rubbed his head Remy spotted his passed out sister and their new friend who was trying to wake her up and started running toward them only to be cut off by Thunder ball attack hitting the ground in front of him. This time however the attacker showed himself. It was the corrupted Thunderballmon. The evil digimon let out a distorted laugh and then turned his attention toward the Gomamon and Renae and began charging up another attack. Remy and Adam started running toward the two digimon.
"Guys look out!"
Gomamon looked up to see another attack rushing toward Renae. The Gomamon, willing to sacrifice himself jumped into the attack to save his friend. It didn't destroy him but he was badly injured. When Adam reached the Gomamon, he quickly cradled him and held him close as Remy held his hurt sister. Adam growled up his breath and gritted his teeth.
"Remy..We need to make this digimon see what happens when he hurts our friends! No one hurts our friends While we are around!"
As Adam glared up at the Thunderballmon who was laughing more, the dark storm clouds that had formed finally produced a single lightning strike which landed in front of the group and when it ended, a digiegg sat where it struck. The egg having the crest of friendship on it. Adam just gritted his teeth as he grinned. That was when Adam's digivice began to glow a bright blue along with the digi-egg.
"Let's show this spark plug how strong the power of our friendship makes us!"
Remy nodded and snarled and then was swallowed up by a mixture of blue and green energy in the shape of an egg as he began to digivolve.
"Renamon armor digivolve to!!..Raidramon! The storm of friendship!"
When the egg shattered and Raidramon landed, he roared and ran for Thunderballmon and jumped for him as the evil digimon unleashed a thunderball attack. Unlike the other attacks however, when it hit Remy's new horn it was just absorbed. Remy then snarled as Lightning appeared on his metal horn.
"Lightning blade!"
Remy then struck the evil digimon causing him to fall from the sky as Remy fell with him, electricity filling his mouth.
"Electric bite!"
Remy then sunk his teeth into the evil digimon destroying him. As Remy landed in the snow he broke into a run over to his tamer and his sister as she woke up and sat up. The gomamon also opened his eyes. Adam just smiled down at the little rookie as male fridgimon ran out of the city's gate and picked up the Gomamon. Adam then stood up and helped Renae up as she shrugged off the pain. Adam then smiled at the hurt Gomamon.
"Don't worry Gomamon, that corrupted digimon won't hurt you or the city again."
Gomamon just nodded before falling asleep in the frigimon's arms and being carried away. Remy then changed back into his rookie form and hugged his sister as tight as he could.
"Don't scare me like that ever again!"
Renae just patted her brothers back and then looked over at her tamer who was rubbing his arms and stomping around in the snow.
"Let's get Adam out of here before our tamer turns into a frozen tamer pop."
Adam's digivice then began to glow a bright pink as Remy walked over to Adam and picked him up out of the snow. Renae was then engulfed in a pink and green energy orb.
"Renamon armor digivolve to!!..Halsemon the wings of love!"
