MOTOYA KIZUKI | SPIRIT USER |
PERSONALITY Motoya could easily described as diligent; he takes very clean and accurate notes, scores high on tests, and puts himself wholly into projects. He is a full time student, but not just academically. He spends a decent amount of homeroom and other class periods where he can afford to let grades slip a point or two on diagraming new sculpting projects or simply doodling. He’s an artist in the strictest sense, using both creativity and intuition tempered by observation and calculation. He enjoys friendly challenge and competition, which explains his few sport involvements. This also brings up a strange thing about Motoya. He is friendly, generally pleasant, but does not dedicate himself to making friends. He’s the type of person to help you in class or with tutoring, but he will rarely if ever see others in a casual scene without some sort of business to conduct. In basketball, he is very competent on the court, synergizes well and is able to help coordinate defense, but he would rather look over plays made in a game than celebrate a win. For him, the game is all about bettering himself. Constantly striving for a way to become an example. He wants to help, he finds it fulfilling, but it’s really only for self-gratification and not for the benefit of those he helps. It makes him feel important.
APPEARANCE If one could create the image of the ‘boy next door’ almost perfectly, there would be no doubt that someone like Motoya could have crossed their mind. Nicely trimmed, brown hair barely draping over the tops of eyes almost made of summer sky behind square panes of glass like something to be studied. Crème white skin, almost flawless were it not for the colon-like moles under his left eye. A lean physique; not someone who sits around all day but not some hot dog skinned body builder either. He has a face that looks like he’s always listening, but he doesn’t talk much. He’s almost perfect. Look again. See the glint in his eyes as he notices you noticing him. He relishes it. Swoon as he gets shoulder to shoulder with you in a group project, or how he lets you have the play of the game as you make a clean three pointer. You’ll love him for it. Watch as he shoots down every request for a date. As he refuses to share himself. Feel that cold creep in as what once felt like fond friendship becomes like indifference. But you’ll come back. He lit a flame in you, it keeps you warm when you are alone. Every so often, a flame needs to be kept going. INVENTORY ○ Emergency Woodworker’s Kit - a few small oak dowels, a whittling knife, and 2 pieces of sandpaper. A good way to pass the time whatever the venue. ○ Phone Card and Address Book - He was serious about low tech. He doesn’t get calls unless he’s home and pay phones in Japan still exist. This’ll do. ○ Workout Bag - The Kizuki-brand Workout Bag includes trainers, tank top, basketball shorts, water bottle, and prescription sports glasses. Only ¥3350 plus shipping and handling. BIOGRAPHY Motoya had an agreement with his parents. While they made a great living, he was to be a son to be proud of. Of course this wasn’t a spoken agreement, but the communication was subtle. “Have you thought about entering some of your work in a competition?” “Son, you sit at home too much. Why not try out for a sports club?” “Do you have plans to go to regionals?” Always with the incessant, nagging questions squawked from the other side of a phone receiver. The phone was the embodiment of his parents for a bit of elementary and junior high. They tried to video conference, but usually it would be in vastly different time zones or they were on a plane for almost an entire day. It was hellish trying to get in contact with them, even more so trying to tell them how he was rather than what he was doing. You can’t parent thousands of miles away, ten minutes a day. It doesn’t work. But Motoya was a sensible kid. He was smart, well-mannered, stayed out of trouble. By all accounts, the perfectly raised child. A lot of what he did, however, was to pass the time. Biding it, waiting for his parents to return. To have a constant presence in his home that would worry for him, people he didn’t have to woo to get their attention, and who would be genuinely impressed by his performance. Though, as the years went on, that want began to ebb. Phone calls were shorter, answers more curt. He was beginning to think that those people that were always away did so to travel, collect paychecks, and spend time without him. Resentment is a seed that burrows deep. They’d send him gifts. New court shoes, postcards, exotic woods for new projects. There was one time they sent him a silly card game while they were in northern Japan. They said it was getting popular, something about monsters or some such. He perused it. Interesting designs of beasts, dragons, ghosts, even angels. He liked angels; their design was so simplistic yet so effective. A man with wings and heavenly glow. He felt like they had a lot in common. Not the absolute alpha…but certainly of repute. There was even a blue card, probably some holographic promotions card. With all the practice he was doing for co-captain tryouts, he didn’t have time for this game. At school the very next day, he donated the whole of it to the Games club. Hundreds of cards gone to those that would use it. They’d owe him someday. His parents never asked about them again. Then this year started. A package arrived at his doorstep, another present from his parents. No….no the markings were wrong. It wasn’t even Japanese. It was the only time a present really set his fingers tapping. Excitement. Mystery. So few knew his actual address, or so he thought. He opened it. A phone. Some odd phone. No dial pad, but not a big enough screen for touch screen function. Was it a game? Another game? He shook his head. He put it down on the coffee table and kept eye on it as he retrieved his laptop from his bag. He started it up; he had a paper to finish. Then…then it started. The lights went down. And the game turned on. First the screen went bright. Then the whole of it began to glow. It lifted itself into the air towards him as his laptop turned up to blind him. The next thing he remembered was flying. Flying on wings not made of wax. He could fly to the sun if he wanted to. | NICKNAME Moto-kun AGE Sixteen GENDER Male HEIGHT 5" 10 WEIGHT 157 lbs. Lucemon | s-hybrid OF HEAVENS |
DESCRIPTION It's a Lucemon. PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Heaven’s Focus - While in sunlight, the first attack and every fourth attack leaves 20% of the damage as lingering radiant damage, which stays for 2 turns after the passive is triggered. This is 25% against those with the Nightmare Soldier family or the Virus attribute. ATTACKS ○ Descending Gold - Lucemon commits to a divebomb flyby, his gold bangles glowing so bright that they burn white hot and they burn an enemy. This can hit up to three targets, so long as they are in a reasonably straight line. He pulls up immediately after the last hit. ○ Angel Rain - Lucemon summons up feathers and imbues them with light. They remain on his person and act as bright light until he wills them forward, sending them at an enemy like throwing knives. After launching, the feathers will illuminate anything hit for 5 turns. ○ HOLY DUNK! - (Prerequisites: Must have access to the sun. Must have Heaven’s Focus proc’ed or be able to proc it with this attack.) Into the heavens he goes. Towards the sun doth he hold out his hand and as he says the holy prayer: “Hey. Ho. What art thou going to do? Hey Ho. What art thou going to do?” The sun delivers him the sacred orb, which is meant to be thrown and explode. Not for this Lucemon. He divebombs akin to how he performs Descendant Gold, or dribbles the sacred relic towards the target like Larry Bird. He brings the orb to meet the target and the radiance blasts against their being. The attack has as much power as that of a Champion attack and requires a turn to charge and speak the prayer to commit the orb to a target. | FAMILY Virus Busters ATTRIBUTE Vaccine TYPE Angel |

Petermon | h-hybrid: fraction Digimental: dreams |
DESCRIPTION It's a Petermon. PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Fairy Dust - On top of being able to fly, Petermon may allow others to fly. At most 3 Rookies or human children, 4 in-training, or 5 fresh Digimon. They must remain close to Petermon and cannot attack while affected by Fairy Dust. ATTACKS ○ Never Blade - Petermon takes out both of his daggers and throws one at a target. If hits an enemy, he will dash towards the enemy and the dagger will blink back to his hand, allowing him to engage in close quarters. If this were to hit terrain, Petermon blinks to the dagger and cannot use the move again for 1 turn. If the dagger bounces, or otherwise falls flat, the dagger blinks to Petermon and still imposes the 1 turn lock. Petermon must have the second dagger in hand to be able to use enhanced movement, but the daggers will return to his belt. ○ Second Star Slash - This move applies stacks of Seeing Stars. This is Petermon’s most basic attack, being a one-two combo of his daggers that trail what appears to be fairy dust. Stacks may be applied by one dagger doing two attacks as well. Peter’s dash speed towards targets of Never Blade increases by 10% for every stack applied. The maximum number of stacks are 4. ○ Seeing Stars - Petermon must possess both daggers to activate this ability, since it requires clicking the blade together. The effect of this move is influenced by the amount of stacks collected by successful hits of Second Star Slash. Each effect requires the same number of turns as the stack activation after the effects end to begin stacking again. (ex. The one stack effect requires 1 turn after the blind ends): 1 stack: The target becomes blind for one turn. It is not painful in its nature; it’s almost as if someone turned the lights out. 2 stacks: The target becomes immobilized by bonds of fairy dust for 1 turn. Those of Armor Champion and lower cannot break these bonds. Champion level requires taking damage equal to Second Star Slash. Ultimate and above can break these bonds on their post and not take damage. 3 stacks: The target hears the clinging of steel like being inside a church bell. They take ongoing damage and are deafened for 2 turns. 4 stacks: The target is put to sleep by the sound and are plagued by horrid dreams. Armor champion and below remain asleep until they naturally awaken or until they take damage. Champion level are asleep for 2 turns (or until damage is taken), ultimate level are asleep for 1 turn (or until damage is taken). Mega level digimon feel drowsy, and may fall asleep for 1 turn (or until damage is taken), but most likely will not. Super Mega is never affected. ○ Straight on till Morning - Petermon removes his scarf and kisses a sleeping target’s forehead. All of their dreams are removed and are absorbed into Petermon, empowering him. Not only does this move damage the target upon its one turn channel, therefore waking them up, but it causes Petermon’s power and defense to increase by 75% until end of combat. | FAMILY Unknown ATTRIBUTE Data TYPE Fairy |

Angemon | h-hybrid OF HEAVENS |
DESCRIPTION Digimon's description. Apperance descriptions only necessary if Digimon is a custom Digimon without an image. No word count. If you're at a loss, use flavor text. PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ Heaven’s Vigil - This is an improvement upon Heaven’s Focus. While in sunlight, the first and every fourth attack afterwards deals 35% of the attack’s damage as bonus damage over 2 turns. This damage is increased to 40% against those with the Nightmare Soldier family or the Virus attribute. While at night or otherwise in the dark, Nightmare Soldier/Virus are still affected, but only take 30% instead of 40%. ATTACKS ○ Sabbath Sash - The sash around Angemon’s arm has digicode that becomes bright as a pyre when this ability is activated. The light infuriates the enemy, taunting them for 2 turns. In this sense, they must move towards him and attack each turn. They cannot willingly move away or use abilities that require a channel; they must be instantaneous.. This move has a 3 turn cooldown. ○ Angel’s Storm - In a way akin to Angel’s Rain, Angemon lights up feathers on his wings, but are more numerous with a sharper sting and a larger coverage. He may keep them on his person and use them as a light source from his wings or out to 10 feet by having them float. When used as a weapon, they keep the effect of illuminating anything hit for 5 turns, but can, before the turns are up, detonate like light grenades upon a second activation, essentially dealing damage again. Activating Angel’s Storm a second time puts the ability on a 2 turn cooldown. ○ His Glory - To use this ability, Sabbath Sash must be on cooldown. Angemon removes his helmet revealing the true countenance of the Digimon, accompanied by heavenly light. This sight may be calming to some and terrifying to others. Allies to Angemon, up to 5 of them, gain a slight 15% bonus to their defenses, while enemies to Angemon, up to 3, are feared. Fear, in this sense, means that Angemon exudes an aura that people do not want to enter (arround 5-6 feet radius from him in every direction) and may feel as though they must run. . The defense boost and fear last for 3 turns. The cooldown on this ability is 5 turns. ○ Longinus - This ability may only target those under the effect of Heaven’s Vigil and has different effects depending on which crowd control effect they are currently under: Taunt: This turns pain into vigor. Damage that was dealt to Angemon under the taunt of Sabbath Sash as well as the attack(s) that were negated is converted into health for Angemon. Using this move negates the use of the second ability. Can only be used once in combat per day. Fear: A spearhead sprouts from the end of Angemon’s staff and he throws it at an enemy. This attack deals immense damage for a Champion attack. This only damages those under the effects of Heaven’s Vigil. Secondary targets within 30 yards of the primary who are also under the Passive’s effect take half damage. This version requires a 2 turn channel to commit a primary target and negates use of the heal effect of Longinus. Can only be used once in combat per day. | FAMILY Virus Busters, Wind Guardians ATTRIBUTE Vaccine TYPE Angel |
