unter was a little... perturbed, one might say.
After their misadventure in the desert, which had involved the young Tamer nearly dying, the young man and his Partner wanted to go on a little excursion to some place less... scorching hot. Him and Alecto had went out asking about popular vacation spots, and after asking many people and Digimon (one in particular being a rather nice Angemon, who nearly was mauled by Alecto just for being a Angel type), the consensus Triton City and the nearby coastline.
So they made their way through the highlands and up the coast to the seaside city, which took a little longer than they expected, but the sight of the place was definitely worth the trip.
It was to be noted that the decadence of the place made them cringe at times, and the tales of the self-indulgence of the city's ruler, Neptunemon, made them question just how noble this particular member of the Olympos XIII actually was. But that all aside, they spent a good amount of time taking in the sights, and taking a couple of pictures.
Eventually, the duo came to rest at a outdoor cafe, and the two promptly blanched at the menus prices. What they would normally pay for a small meal back in Terabye or Tecton City, would only get them two drinks and a light snack. Once they had recovered from their shock, Hunter looked up to their waitor, a sharply dressed Seahomon,, and asked if this was the price all around the city. Both Hunter and Alecto nearly fell over when they were told they were actually having a sale this day, and told them the average price. After a few moments of staring at the seahorse Digimon in stunned silence, the white-haired young man eventually caved and ordered a cup of coffee for Alecto, a cup of tea for him, and a slice of cake for them to share.
Alecto, who was sitting on the table rather than in a chair, huffed audibly and visibly. "I cannot believe this place. Sure, it's nice and all, but there's absolutely no need for this shameless extortion of the people! And really, by people, I mean us. They could bill everyone else within an inch of their lives, but doing this to us is just downright wrong!" Looking from side-to-side for a minute, the Tsukaimon got a evil look in her eyes, before whispering, "What say we ditch the check once we're done and go somewhere else?"
Before Hunter could respong to his Partner, someone bumped into their table, and the pale Tamer had to stand up to help the person from falling over. "Woah there! You... alright?" ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY
