feel the light shining in the dark of the night | "WHAAAAAAAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK?!" Katsuo yelled as loud as he could and for good reason. He had just a second ago gotten sucked into his computer and now he was falling down from the sky. The young man's life flashed in his eyes and there were plenty of regrets. It all had to come to and end though, and at least on some level he was prepared for the embrace of death. Katsuo crashed on solid stone, but instead of being crushed by the impact, the young man pretty much just landed on the surface without any feel of impact. It was hard to believe, but he was completely undamaged and the only proof left of the fall was a crater that Katsuo was at the center of and the feel of adrenaline rushing through his veins, with his heart pounding like crazy. "I- I'm alive. I'm alive! Hahahaha!" With no real other way to respond to this, Katsuo just laughed. The feeling he had was amazing in a way. He hadn't ever felt so happy to be alive. His luck was finally turning to better apparently. A loud 'CRACK' however silenced the young man immediately and he slowly looked underneath him, seeing that the stone was filled with cracks, and there kept appearing more and more, making more noise. He and his big mouth. Before being able to react, the stone floor beneath him fell apart and Katsuo was back to falling down. This time however the fall wasn't that long and it didn't take too long for him to be back to on some solid surface. Katsuo did this time get hurt, but would probably pass off with just a couple bruises, even if they were most likely going to be rather nasty ones. While cursing his terrible luck, the young man stood up and brushed off small pieces of stone and dust from his jacket, while inspecting where he had fell into. It was some kind strange chamber, with some stairs at the other end of it taking to a pedestal. The place seemed rather old, so bumping into someone here was very unlikely. Besides the hole in the ceiling that he had fallen from and that was 10 meters high, there was no other way out either. Katsuo grumbled to himself. This situation was almost too much to comprehend. Too many things that didn't make sense and even trying to make sense of anything that had just happened would probably just cause unnecessary headache. "I should try to call some help..." Katsuo began looking through his pockets in search of his phone, mumbling to himself, only to remember that he had left his phone in his school bag. What bad luck. Still, there was something in the pocket of his jacket and Katsuo pulled it out. It was some strange machine, resembling a crossover of a phone and a game console. Where did he even get this thing from. Katsuo hadn't ever seen a device like this. Pressing buttons randomly on it in hopes of turning it on, the screen suddenly lit, though it was filled with text that Katsuo didn't recognize. It didn't resemble anything that he had ever seen before. Things were getting just more and more weirder. To add to strangeness, a glow surrounded the device and a beam of light from it shone towards the pedestal at the end of the chamber. With his curiosity peaked by this, and not really knowing what else he could do, Katsuo went ahead and walked up the stairs and looked at it with curiosity. There was some sort of odd, small statue on it and the light from the device was pointing at it. Something was enticing Katsuo to touch the statue, and so he did. Immediately as his finger touched the statue, the thing glowed brightly and was sucked inside the device in a flash of light. Before being able to question what just had happened a voice spoke, and what made it even crazier was the fact that the voice echoed inside the young man's own head. "Hello there, human. I am Aegiomon. You have gotten yourself into quite the predicament, so do you want me to help?" the voice asked, and being too tired to even be surprised anymore, Katsuo just answered. "Yes!" @anystaff ■ 720 ■ Flaaaash baaack threaaaad |
