MISSIONS
Here on Exodus, we understand that, whilst we try to churn out as many plot events and missions for you to take part in as you can, sometimes it's not that simple: we can't bring in a new one every day, and we understand some of big-name official site events may suit some members more than others.
This is why we've implemented what's known as the Mission System! Much like their sister feature, Dungeons, Missions are small, player-controlled events designed to be established for groups of under 10 players, typically under five, where one member takes on a pseudo-Game Master role and provides a summary of the mission, an objective, and a reward!
When running a mission, it is important to note that while you're allowed to utilize your character in the mission, your character's participation does not grant you the mission's rewards. If your character does not fit the requirements of the mission, he or she cannot participate. You also need at least one other person's character to be allowed to run a mission; Solo missions are not allowed under any circumstances.
Missions are free-form events hosted by a single player who controls the plot and NPCs of the event, often pitting them against the player characters, whom are the characters that signed up for the event. The rewards vary based on difficulty and are left up to the mission creator's discretion, though staff may sometimes step in if rewards are unreasonable. Mission Creators will also be given ample rewards based on staff judgment of how the mission goes.
The process of making a mission is simple:
A word on rewards: try to make them reasonable for the work done and the average level of Digimon in the event. Additionally, rewards may be bits, posts, or both, but in some occasions you may want to give out unconventional rewards, such as card packs, upgrades, or items. Make sure to consult staff first before providing a reward you deem to be unconventional in the description for your mission.
And one final word: missions do not necessarily have to be combat missions. They could be anything -- it could be a day's work on the farm, retrieving objects from a cave, completing a set of riddles, or working together as a team to resolve a problem without violence; we encourage you to think outside the box and make a truly innovative mission if you can.
Now go ahead and start making them!

The process of making a mission is simple:
- Step 1: Fill out the form below and make a new topic in this board.
- Step 2: Wait for staff to approve your mission objectives and mainly ensure the reward is not too great! To speed this process up, make sure you post your pending mission in the Notification Thread.
- Step 3: Get your friends to sign up! When you've got what you deem to be enough members, start the mission in any of the in-character roleplay boards and, well, play!
- Step 4: Once the mission's objectives are deemed to be completed, post in the thread in this board once more, staff will check, approve again, and then hand out your rewards. Simple!
