It was a cloudy sunny day, but by the looks of the clouds it was about to rain. A young girl of 18 was working at an ice cream shop in Toyko, Japan. Her name was Alenaii, and her shift was just about over. It was currently 4:50pm, and she would finally be able to leave at 5:00 pm, if no one stopped her at least, but she wanted to get home before it started to pour.
It took her last ten minutes to clean her area, pack her stuff, and say goodbye to her co-workers, but she was finally leaving the shop to go home. She lived about 5 blocks away, not to bad it was good exercise she thought. It finally started to pour down the rain, right when she was maybe a 1 block away from her apartment. Sprinting inside, she placed her bag on her computer desk, and grabbed a quick snack. A bright red strawberry that looked to be ripe, but would probably end up being sour. With a deep sigh, Alenaii sat down on her desk to check her email and play a few games to pass the time. Looking through her email, it was mostly junk but something caught her eye. It was an email with the subject in big bright red bold letters. PLEASE HELP US!. Of course, Alenaii opened it and the next thing she knew, she was being sucked into the computer.
A terriermon and her sister lopmon were strolling through the jungle looking for food, when they came up on a big tree with fresh ripe fruit at the top. "I'll get some, you stay here Lopmon". Terriermon nodded to her sister and dig her tiny claws into the tree and started to climb up. Lopmon was scared her sister would fall and watched her every movement, flinching whenever she would lose her footing. Terriermon finally reached the top, grabbing a couple of fruit at a time. "Get ready to catch these sis!" Terriermon tossed the fruit down to lopmon, and lopmon attempted to catch them all, dropping 1 or 2 at a time. Little did they know, a group of very hungry wormmon were sneaking up behind them, Terriermon was to busy picking fruit and tossing it, and Lopmon to busy trying to catch them all for them to notice. Being twins, they were each half as powerful as a regular digimon that had no twin. Lopmon turned around feeling something watching her from behind, and let out a loud squeal. Terriermon climbed down as fast as she could to protect her sister, but seeing how many wormmon there was, there was no way they could fight or run. Terriermon growled, while lopmon whimpered and prayed very hard for someone to come help them. Soon the wormmon got closer and closer, laughing slightly knowing they would be having a free meal, but the next thing terriermon and lopmon knew was a human flying towards them from the sky.
Alenaii was falling from the sky after being sucked in from her home computer, she was to shocked to scream as she got closer and closer to ground, but the closer she got, the more she could make how what looked like animals at the ground, but there was slightly off, but finally she reached the ground, landing on top of what seemed like a bunch of caterpillars or something like that. The landing was painfully, but the caterpillar like things broke her fall thankfully. Looking around her surroundings, she was in a weird looking jungle, and she also noticed to look bunny monster looking creatures. Her eyes grew as wide as saucers and she backed up from where she was until her back hit a tree. "WHAT in the world are those things?"
If terriermon had eyebrows, one would surely be raised up at this weird human. Lopmon gave off a small whimper, hoping this human wouldn't cause anymore trouble, though all the wormmon seemed to be knocked out from the human landing on them. Terriermon growled at being called "things". "Um excuse me.. we are not "things" we are digimon, the only odd one here is you!" Lopmon looked at her sister with concern, "You don't have to be so mean terriermon, its obvious she's in shock, maybe we should try to help her, after all her fall did knock out the wormmon." Terriermon rolled her eyes and nodded her head, " Fine, but if something goes wrong, shes on her own, got it?" Lopmon gave her a grin and walked over to the human with caution, "Um hi... are you hurt?"
Not only were they weird, but they talked to. Alenaii blinked her eyes and took a deep breath. She calmed down, they said they were digimon? What are digimon? Maybe she could get answers from these two bunnies, they didn't seem to want to hurt her, and they were kinda cute for little monsters. Alenaii stood up and introduced herself, "No I'm ok, thanks for asking.. I'm Alenaii by the way, I was sucked into this world someone.. what is this place, and you said you were digimon... what are digimon?
Lopmon smiled at the human called Alenaii, but Terriermon still didn't trust this human. "First off, I'm Terriermon, and this is my twin sister Lopmon. We are in the digital world, home to digimon monsters.. which is what we are and what all the other digimon are." Lopmon nodded her head in agreement with Terriermon's words. Terriermon figured they wouldn't get rid of this human until they helped her out and get her on her own way. "Just so you will leave us alone, we will help you until you either get home, or find help from somewhere else. I don't trust you, and I will protect my sister at all costs, so don't even think of doing anything drastic!."
So... she was in what was called the digital world..and the creatures before her were talking digital monsters called digimon? Huh well she had to admit this was gonna be one weird day. The white and green one named Terriermon agreed to help her be on her way, so Alenaii smiled and agreed to her terms, " Thank you so much! I'll be out of your fur before you know it!".
Terriermon and Lopmon gestured Alenaii to follow them, and they went walking through the Jungle, looking to find someone who could help Alenaii figure out why she was here, and how to get back home.
