Digimon power is determined by posts here on Exodus, just as it was on DFRP. These levels can be checked in the linked chart below.
However, certain ranks must be quested for or purchased.
In-Training is obtained normally.
Rookie is obtained normally.
Champion is obtained normally.
Ultimate is obtained normally.
Mega must be quested for in a challenge from a staff member. This challenge will test either wits or combat skill, or a combination of both, and will not necessarily be easy. These challenges will be able to be requested on a special board, but each challenge will be generated by the staff member. Often times - they will work with you and tie it in with your personal plot/background.
Super Mega must be quested for in the same way as Mega. However, this challenge is much, much, much more difficult.
Armor Champion must be purchased and quested for by posting a 500 word thread on how your character obtained it.
Armor Ultimate is the same.
DNA Digivolution must be purchased in the form of a Digivice upgrade - but does not need to be quested for. However, you require at least one other willing member to perform the process.
Other than actually posting, there will be additional ways to earn posts.
The first and easiest method is trading in bits for posts. The standard rate is 100 bits for 10 posts.
The second method is by completing quests.
The third method is through events, which happen frequently and can be simple and easy to complete. Sometimes events will simply be giveaways.
More methods will be added later.
