Astoria doesn't burn bridges unless she's sure she wouldn't cross them anymore; she's known to double and triple check, especially when it comes to her connections. The last thing she wanted to happen is to lose control over her social status so people will mostly be seeing her much endearing side but once she gets everything she wants from you then you're pretty much done.

This bitch attacks behind people's back and targets their emotions and minds, which makes her like twice dangerous than normal. No one is safe from her fangs; once she finds a victim to prey on, there's no turning back. And, her favorite victims are those with a happy smile on their faces. There's nothing more than she loves but ruining a blissful life. Why? Because devastation hits them 10X harder than usual.

I think these two could potentially play of each other very well- Claire at least would be very curious about this young girl, and would be interested in seeing what could push Astoria's buttons, if anything. She doesn't take things too seriously in the Digital World, and may try to mess with Astoria or trip her up, while at the same time Astoria may be trying to do the same to her, but in a much more malicious fashion? [attr="class","preplyfiller"]hey kii! thanks for dropping by! Okay, so I think that's a great way to start a 'ship with this little monster. I'd love to see someone dare to get on her nerves and I think Claire's the perfect person for that since the idea of her seeing through Astoria's sugar, spice and everything nice bs is very much possible. Astoria's a good and a careful actress though so we need something that would arise Claire's curiosity/suspicions. Buuuut yeah, Astoria will mostly likely take it seriously if like Claire persistently tries to push her off her sanity meter/mess with her. She'll see Claire as an enemy and will definitely destroy her since she can't afford to ruin her front.

So, with Katuso's shite luck, bumping into and getting introduced to Astoria is just bound to happen.

How the two's relationship would start out as and end up as can honestly vary quite a lot.
But here's what I have now.
I'd think that even though Katsuo would be careful around Astoria, being distrustful of her on a reasaonable level, as long as she plays her cards right and doesn't raise any suspicions, Katsuo will let his guard down and start trusting her.
From this it could either go that Katsuo ends up finding out how rotten Astoria really is before or after she has already stabbed him in the back. How it goes from there really depends that how close at least Katsuo himself felt to the young woman, but most he'd end up holding a grudge against her and try to prevent her from fucking anyone else over.

I'm terrible with starting throwing plot ideas, so if you're interested with these two being in threads then throw some ideas you'd yourself have and some of your own opinions.

I like it. I'd say Claire probably wouldn't even need to have suspicions about Astoria to want to screw with her. Claire screws with everyone- trolling, particularly in the Digital World, is her hobby tbh, so it doesn't really matter what the other person is like lol. But if she started to have suspicions about Astoria, that she wasn't all what she seemed... it might make Claire curious enough to push her even further. She's kind of an ass like that haha

I honestly can see Astoria trying to earn Katsuo's trust; as in she'll woo him until he's like comfortable around her then she'll break his heart. Really hard. If you like drama then we can take this to a different level where Astoria acts like a big sister to Katsuo and make him think that the world isn't that bad and things like that. She'll use him as a prop for her disguise too since he seems like a pretty good person over all. I'd pretty much be going for that route anyway since screwing up with Katsuo (or anyone actually) at an earlier time doesn't seem like something Astoria would do. Or you know I could be completely wrong ~ Katsuo is curious and has a terrible luck so he might end up discovering her colors sooner. If this happens then she'll be giving him a bad time... yeah a really bad time.

I love the idea of Astoria being like a big sister figure to Katsuo and he using him like a prop. The realization of the young woman's real persona would be all the heavier of a blow.
Of course, like you mentioned, Katsuo might find it out early on, but that doesn't need to decided right now. We can decide later which way it happens or just go with the flow.
