We will impose a new regime where we are not ruled by complacent Digimon who think themselves gods untouched by the laws of man or democracy. We will break their system. We will make our own.

FOCUS

And in this system it will be good: it will be fair, and it will be pure and of divine right. The gods of men and Digimon will look down upon us and smile. For the Seven were locked away in a manner unjust and unlawful. We will see the return of righteous law to this land and we will eliminate all the wrongs; but we must sweep the land with a purging wave before any else can happen."

ABOUT

Shin-Sekai is an old organization, one that has existed and has been known as an enemy of the Digital World for well over twenty years. It wasn't always that way, they say they were once a simple guild of mercenaries who wished to change the world. Their ambitions consumed them, the rumor goes, causing their guild to grow into an army, and later an empire. They even went on to rule the Digital World for a period of time.

That, however, was in the past. The new Shin-Sekai was founded by their old leader, an eccentric man named "Crow," on the ashes of a broken thieves guild. This was then strengthened over the years in the shadows - with the aid of his first apprentice, Iscariot.

The group takes in youths and misguided tamers, giving them a direction and transforming them into desensitized soldiers for the organization. Other recruits are those without a path, those without a home, or simply the more malicious types - the latter so usually finding themselves among the lower ranks.

Shin-Sekai has an unhealthy obsession with Ogudomon - and not even any of the leaders can explain why. Something drives them to work towards bringing him back into the Digital World - and they do so without questioning it, for the most part.

The group has re-emerged violently, announcing themselves in Triton City in Neptunemon's blood. Many are unsure of what to think of them, being tired of the actions of the Twelve. They could be potential saviors, heroes, though, perhaps not the ones the Digital World is asking for.

Whatever they are - they have come, and carnage will follow.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the group is to not be taken likely. First, members must be approved by one of the Horsemen, and second, they must pass a test with the Shin-Sekai. Details of this test vary from potential member to potential member, but it often involves a difficult or uncomfortable challenge of strength, wit, and skill - rather than being general gang hazing. After they have met these requirements, they must then sign a pact agreeing to not betray or harm the group. Violation of this pact could lead to the group hunting down the offender and blacklisting them.

However, joining the organization offers unlimited protection from the organization and from other outside forces and a spot in the ever-growing criminal empire, as long as access to all of their many resources. If one wishes to apply for membership, fill out the form below, and you will be contacted.

Shin-Sekai allows joint membership with any other group, including good-oriented teams and guilds. However, in the end, each and every member must have absolute allegiance to the Shin-Sekai and put them before any of their other affiliations. Violation of this could lead to termination.

TRAITS

◘ THE GRANT: The members of Shin-Sekai are empowered by a dark force that favors the organization from the beyond. When two or more members of Shin-Sekai are fighting with each other in a thread, all of their special-type active abilities do an additional 20 damage, added in before subtracting DEF.

◘ DOORS OF THE CROW: The one known as "Crow" has in his time spent in this dimension, through various means, discovered a way to typify certain waypoints and link them together for long-range instantaneous transportation. Whilst this permits a certain visage of universality and the ability to be in multiple places far away over a very short period of time, it has drawbacks. One: waypoints must be manually added by an Erudazu or Horseman member. Two: the Doors cannot be used in combat due to an inability to isolate a single Digicore, but if escape from combat is even partially secured, the Doors can then be accessed provided there is enough time to utilize them. Three: whilst the Doors can be used from anywhere in the Digital World, you can only use them to get TO a number of certain places, listed below.

◘ DARK WORLD MORALE: Once per thread, whenever a member of Shin-Sekai's Digimon or Spirit Form would die, they continue to fight on with 10 HP. Additionally, they gain a complete immunity to darkness and light elemental attacks for two turns.

◘ FINAL IMPACT: The ultimate weapon of the Shin-Sekai, gained by tapping into dark astral powers. This ritual requires three or more Shin-Sekai members in a single thread to harness, and uses all three (or more) of their AP for a single turn. The ritual also requires preparation and a small blood sacrifice, causing all those involved in the ritual to lose 10 HP. After all of this is done, a force will call down a large meteor upon the location, decimating everything over a large radius of around 800m, dealing 250 earth elemental damage. This can only be used once per thread.

HAND OF THE ELDERS

The Hand of the Elders are five elite spies of Shin-Sekai - three agents that serve the Erudazu directly. They may already be among the ranks of the group, or they may be unlisted completely. For the time being - the Hand's identity is known only by themselves and the Erudazu. Their missions are just as secretive as their identities - though it is known that they are lethally effective at their jobs.

FOCUS

The Famine Unit focuses on sabotage, depriving the enemy of resources by any means necessary and leaving them with as little as possible to work with. This may be by literally destroying supplies, but could also mean causing a shortage of less tangible resources as well, for example interrupting ally intervention.

The War Unit of Shin-Sekai makes up many of the ground troops and is often the first one to go in when it comes to missions, acting as both the core army and vanguards of the organization. They have hidden their main legion within the trees and wildlife of Nanosphere Forests, using the Exe Ruins as a pre-built fortress for their operations.

Though the War Unit went without a horseman for quite some time, as they were established at the same time as the Pestilence Unit, ASUKA YAMAZAKI has finally been assigned the spot. Despite being the holder of perhaps the most aggressive title, she may be one of the more laid-back commanders of the Erudazu's armies. The elites of the group, known as the Divine Winds, are given a lot of freedom - taught by the five rules of life by their commander. These rules of life are as follows:

◘ Know when to fight, and when to not fight.
◘ Never enter a fight without being prepared to face death.
◘ Live with wild festivity, battle with divine grace.
◘ Chaos reigns supreme - embrace all aspects of life and live it to the fullest.
◘ Freedom reigns supreme - everybody is equal, though some more than others.

FOCUS

The War Unit's focus is many - they often act as the core army for Shin-Sekai when they become involved in large scale conflicts. The elites and garrisons of the group make up the bulk of Shin-Sekai's forces, though this is not their only purpose. The War Unit also specializes in acts of chaos and terrorism, causing disruptions and creating distractions.

ABOUT

While initially this particular division's seat has gone unoccupied for quite a while, a recent revelation has been made in the form of the new Horsemen of Death: Reikiko. While many things are unclear about the reason behind her ascension, it appears the recent loss of her partner has led to a remarkable change in Reikiko and the division she now runs. Some call the Death division the 'place the lunatics are send to'. It is a known fact that this particular division does not function with a hierarchy, but instead they follow a simple three-floor pyramid of seniority, with Reikiko at its head.

Although one might say that they are the wild cards of the Shin-Sekai, the ones assisting the other divisions when they need additional manpower, their true nature is much dangerous than that.

FOCUS

The Death division is without any doubt a cult, they are the zealous fanatics who either worship the Seven (or one of their members), or simply are too random in their way of thinking to fit any true division. However, the division's primary goal is that of assassination, often in the most despair-inducing methods. To rob a enemy of their will to resist is one way to win the battle, and Reikiko knows all too well how strong a stimulant despair can be.

Located within the Necropolis, a secret laboratory of the Shin Sekai has been converted into a complex where the Death Division members are trained, but also able to stay and interact with one another. While reaching it from outside is considered a insane adventure (that only those as crazy as the division members themselves would undertake) the division's garrison is quite well-equipped for comfort once you get past the traps and maze-like corridors of the Necropolist.
