Screeched a Yasyamon who had elected to go stomping outside of the Terabyte City for...Well, what he just said. His partner had no clue what the fuck he was doing but it was kind of his responsibility to make sure that they didn't get in trouble.

"Kappy, I don't think this is the best place you could use to search for a stick. Plus, I think she didn't have enough money. I'm sure one of the other guys we usually have lunch with'll get you one." Surely. The Savannah was oddly enough empty at this hour. Usually there'd be one or two rookies messing around but it was not that way at all right now. "I'll get that big mac eventually."

Just two men and the wind. Or...was it not two but perhaps another?

To note, Akira was in full DATS gear. Body armor over his hoodie and taser and all.

Ryo read a book on the edge of the savannah. one legged cross reading a book atop of a rock. "Hm, was never a fan of Shakespeare," he mumbled, turning a page, he thought he was the only one on the savannah, though he was wrong. There was a young... Person? On the other side though he wasn't aware of them at all really. Eyes didn't lift up from his book, still skimming the pages, a yawn leaving his lips, reading sure was boring. nothing interesting about it in the least, though his eye doctor recommend he would give it a chance, as it would "clear his mind"

Akira squinted as Kappy suddenly stopped walking and began to look around. As though he detected something...An inclination of intuition, if you would, that would reveal two things.

Kappy wasn't as much of a degenerate as he lead himself and others to believe, and that he had some manner of detection aside from sight in that form. "...Kappy, what are you doing?" Akira asked as he looked up to the Demon Man. "I believe we aren't alone." He said, as he craned his masked visage around the savannah, until his eyes fell upon...A man in a chair, reading a book. Unassuming.

"...Doesn't seem like he's doing much, however. Knowing this world, though...Keep on your guard."

Ryo, turned another page in his book. "Hmm, this Romeo must not know women too well.." he yawned. What a long day, kids still haven't called, his partner was still a squishy thing and to make matters worst he was bored. Licking his lips, he let out another yawn, his cane resting beside him, "ha, sucker got what was coming to him."

What to do on such a day other than read? Maybe dance a jig for his good health... Then again he was reading a book because his doctor told him to... He doesn't even like reading or dancing for that matter.

And then suddenly, without warning, the man reading his book began to seize in a fervor not before seen by mortal eyes. He convulsed and foamed at the mouth, and then as suddenly as it began, it stopped. He just laid there, on the ground of the savanna, silent and still, like a marionette that was dropped by its owner. Were this in the human world, say a city or town, there would be a swarm of people surrounding him, terrified and unnerved, some sensible ones calling for an ambulance. Upon further inspection by paramedics it would become clear that the man suffered from a severe, fatal aneurysm. However this is the Digital World, and no such service exists.

What shall the two do now?

Certain that they had witnessed a man die in front of them, Akira and Kappy were at a loss on what to do. Naturally it was imperative that they dispose of the body but...Akira was in shock. He wasn't supposed to be, yet he was.

Kappy simply walked up to the corpse to check for signs of life. There were none. He moved beside the corpse and began digging near it. Once a hole was made, he shoved the fresh corpse into it and covered it up. "RIP Old Man. I had no idea who he was." He noted as he degenerated into rookie. Akira pointed his iC at the Kotemon and recalled him before he Digiported out.

He didn't feel like telling anyone about that. Felt dirty. ((Exit))
