Sword and Shield

[Perce]

Perce jumped back after getting scratched on his chest but used how close they were to each other to unleash his Energy Blast which he shot without warning aimed at Darric's chest. Perce then got propelled up by the beam and fell back 20 feet away. Perce used his sword to land and get back up fairly quickly. He then pulled his sword out of the ground and got into a fighting stance readying himself to stab at Darric should he get to close. Perce then looked at Krysta and smiled. "I'm guessing that this is fairly entertaining to watch." Perce chuckled while keeping watch on Darric out of the corner of his eye.

Silence is golden For truth is rarely spoken 0193 - Krysta Fyalke  Perce Darric yelped as he danced back patting his chest. He glared at Perce afterwards. He held the wound slightly and snarled. He wasn't about to let the armored swordsman get the better of him. He got on all fours acting like a true beast. He raced forward stopping just short of tackling his front to dance around behind him. Both his hands arched as his claws dug towards him to claw at his back and arm. He followed up by lunging his face forward with open maw to bite whatever part was closest to him with Undead Fang. He then would dance back again growling. He'd make several more testing lunges coming just within range before dodging back out.  Krysta look worriedly at them. Entertaining as it was. She couldn't help but to hate when he got hurt. It hardly mattered though. He was holding his own. Though by the look on his face he was more than a little frustrated. Perce stepped back when Darric charged with his claws but was unable to dodge the Undead Fang. Perce then starts to spin his sword in a circle making it act as a shield and when Darric lunged back at him he held his sword up so that if Darric didn't stop his lunge he would get cut by Perce's sword. Perce kept his sword shield going staying very defensive. "I'm not letting you get to me. You're making pretty annoying nicks in my armor. Which mind you I like to keep shiny and clean." Perce laughes while fighting the urge to go into a killing spree.

Silence is golden For truth is rarely spoken 0160 - Krysta Fyalke  Perce "Annoyance fuels the fight." Darric scoffed. Standing dead still just out of reach. His cloth eyes furrow. As Annoyed as he was the battle was getting good. He watched the swords pattern. Then dodged in stepping one side to the other then jumping onto the blade. His toe nails bearing his weight and clanking against the metal as he pushed off. His claw arching at Perces face. His momentum would carry him through. Perce would have no choice but to dodge to the side rather than back. Upon landing on the ground either way Darric would again put distance between them. His close quarters combat had did nothing in the long run so he had to settle for hit and run tactics. His favorite kind to be sure. Perce watched Darric scratch at his face and let it hit striking with his sword at the same time. Perce then jumped back after Darric landed. He eyed Darric and watched his every move. Perce started to circle his sword around like before. He then waited for Darric to run at him. Perce then stabbed forward at Darric aiming for his already injured chest with Demi Sword. Perce then jumped away so that Darric couldn't counter him. "Annoyance may fuel the battle but you are rapidly losing. I'll try not to kill you but it is taking everything I have not to give into the urges telling me to slaughter everyone here." Perce said waiting for Darric to jump at him again. When Darric jumps next Perce will use Energy Wave arching the attack at Darric right when he gets within 3 feet of distance.

Darric sneered.  He walked around Perce looking for an opening. He frowned as he found none. Perce seemed content to guard himself completely. He wasn't about to rush in though. He made a faint dodging out of the way of his Demi Sword. He was ready again to counter which now turned this into a battle of patience. Darric continued to stride around him. "Please remember to what I said at the beginning of the battle. I don't want to kill you. And if I go into my bloodrage just evolve and pin me down and wait until I calm." Perce says. "Now back to our battle." Perce says before charging at Darric with his sword aimed at Darric's chest. Perce then tries to pin Darric down by jumping at him and slamming his body into him. (If Perce hits) Perce makes sure Darric is pinned down and stabs him in his eye. (If Perce misses) Perce spins around arching his sword and releasing an energy wave going in a full circle that if it hits Darric will hit him in the stomach.

Silence is golden For truth is rarely spoken 0197 - Krysta Fyalke  Perce Darric nodded in confirmation. He watched Perce charge and spun on his heel to one side. He lashed out with one claw aiming to scrap along a part of his armor. He danced back a few steps providing enough distance for him to see the glow of the blade. He lunge off to the side going into a roll and coming up on one knee as it went by his head. it had been close since he didn't know whether he would swing horizontally or vertically. He got up watching Perce with an unseen twinkle in his eye. He wondered how much patience this guy had before going wild. He had to be getting even more frustrated with Darric constantly dodging. Krysta had given up sewing halfway through. It was mostly done but she watched then banter and fight. Frienemies? It sounded about right. They were fighting but it seemed almost playfully. Perce was hit by Darric's claw and began to go into a rage. "No. I cannot let it take over. No more" Perce mutters to himself. "I must win!" Perce yelled as he charged making it look like he was going to stab at Darric but instead arched his blade as he spun making sure that the only way for Darric to dodge would be for him to jump over Perce. But Perce made sure that if Darric did that he could jump just as Darric did it and kick him away.

Silence is golden For truth is rarely spoken 0181 - Krysta Fyalke  Perce Darric retreated a few steps His eyes catching the sudden change of the blades angle as light sparked off of it. There was no way he could dodge by going to the side. Instead he followed the momentum of the blade falling back onto his back. He kicked out with his one foot while reaching up with his blood red claws. His Bleeding Claw attack aiming for the arm that held his sword. He then rolled out to one side and jumped back yet again putting distance between them. His attacks were getting better. He was feinting and defending. It seemed Perce's instincts were sharper that his wit. The more he lost himself the better his fighting became. Darric stood at the ready. His foot shifting the dirt slightly for a foothold. He was again ready to dodge come what may. His eyes roamed Perce's body looking for that next attack or opening. HP: 38 AP: 3 OFF: 7 DEF: 6 AGT: 13 SPC: 5 Bleeding Claw - Cooldown 3

Perce was hit by Darric's kick but he saw Darric's claw come towards his arm, so Perce jumped up dodging Darric's attack but not moving anywhere. Perce then smiled as Darric pushed away. Perce then charged back at Darric and feinted with his sword and did what he did before but this time when Darric would drop down Perce would stop spinning and fire a Energy Blast right at Darric in point blank range. But just in case Perce decided that should Darric jump up Perce would jump as well and strike with Demi Sword aiming for Darric's leg.
