"Boss, why are we out here?" Sable asked, as she and Hyde were standing in the middle of a small clearing in the hot, humid jungles of the Emerald Mangrove. The heat was almost unbearable, and Sable could easily see that her tamer was feeling the heat as well. "Just here to test out a little invention of mine," Hyde said, reaching into his jacket and pulling out the black and white hand cannon that was the Wild Hunter. A custom made weapon Hyde had made that contained data from a Centaurmon. Sable cocked an eyebrow, or would have if her eyes could be seen behind her visor. "Um, sir? Didn't you already test it out back at the Deck."

Hyde shook his head. "That was the original. I've made some modifications recently. Tried to up the power output. If it works, this thing should be comparable to an Armour Ultimate level Digimon, instead of a Champion." "Erm, ok, so why are we out here then instead of back on the Deck?" Hyde gave a playful shrug. "Well, why not do some testing and getting a psuodo-sauna while I'm at it. I heard it's good for the skin." Sable sighed and shook her head, before slapping a mosquito that landed on her.

Meanwhile, Hyde turned his gaze to a nearby tree, and slowly brought up the weapon. Taking aim, energy began to charge in the barrel before suddenly firing a blast of crackling energy. The projectile struck the tree with a sharp explosion, practically blowing it to chunks of wood. Hyde stood there and watched as the torn stump smoked before him.

"Alright, it passed the first test. It didn't blow up on me. Now, to actually determine how strong this thing is."

DANCING UNDERNEATH THE SKIES OF LUST the emerald mangrove was easily one of the more enjoyable places in the digital world. it was out of the way, out of the grasp of shin-sekai, and tucked away from digital and human civilization. it was, in a way, a place of escape. the lushness of the greenery here only added to the nirvana it provided. asuka had come here for this reason -- to escape. too much had happened lately. the stupidity of her friends was something she could not believe, but it could not be helped. people change. people make choices. none of that was truly her concern. the bone-adorned woman sat upon a over-turned log, smoking a small wooden pipe filled with a mysterious herb that was most definitely not tobacco. but still...being roped into this organization didn't sit too well with her. it might be fun for a while, the destruction and chaos she could cause with the power they gave her was certainly inciting, but for how long would this be amusing? she couldn't leave -- she knew that. an explosion nearly caused her to drop her pipe, and caused her to sit up and become aware of her surroundings. it was nearby, within yards even. looking on, she saw a nearby tree collapse into the environment. she felt her teeth grind as she stood up, making way for the source. upon arriving, she came across a tamer with a black chessmon - a rather odd looking one at that. in his hand, a gun. "foolishly destroying the earth." her voice was stern, though not angered. asuka took another hit of her pipe, before ashing it out and pocketing it, now placing her hand on her 'sword's sheath. Hyde had been pondering just how he was going to test out the strength of his new weapon. Firing at trees wasn't going to be enough. I needed to find a more accurate method. And unfortunately, there was nobody around willing to let the scientist test it out on them. He was quickly pulled from his thoughts by a feminine voice speaking to him. He glanced over, seeing a green haired woman with a skull on her head, a pipe of...something...in her hands, and a sword hanging from her hip. Judging by her words and her stare, she didn't take too kindly of them shooting at the trees. An environmentalist? Nah, this girl didn't seem like the hippy type.

Still, her comment caused Hyde to chuckle. "If you think simply shooting down a tree is 'destroying the planet', then I'm afraid you're not giving the Digital World enough credit. If this world's anything like out world, then this place can easily bounce back from calamities far, FAR worse than simply me shooting a tree." He gave a small shrug, "If anything, it would be like poking at it more than anything. Or a mosquito bite. Nothing really harmful. Possibly just a little annoying." He looked around and gave a shrug, looking back at the jungle girl in front of him.

"Besides, I'm done shooting at trees anyway. I've already got what I need out of them. Now I just need to figure out where to go from here." He tilted his head to the side in thought, bringing his hand up to his chin. He didn't seem the least bit phased by the fact the woman was armed, and possibly threatening him.
