Hate,Forever
“Ya know, Legion I have never been to the Dark Area before.” Melancholic and lazy with a tinge of apathy, Obasi made his observations known to the angel upon whose shoulder he resided. “It isn’t exactly a welcoming place for my kind either, little master.” A gentle smile raced across his graceful features. “I guess that makes two of us then.” With a smirk Obasi returned his partner’s jest. The attempt to lighten his mood was appreciated, but Leyton’s death had already changed the boy for the worst. After finally obtaining a friend to call his own, fate saw fit to take him away. Already embittered by his forced isolation this seemed to only cause the boy to snap. Whether triggered by seeing another human die before him or not, he knew not why. If Obasi had to be honest, Leyton disgusted him for being weak and dying so easily.
“I feel like my mind is falling away.” Obasi’s words held no direction; they simply fell from his lips. Legion groaned at his little charge’s words. Whatever caused humans to become unhinged he would never know, but Obasi was his partner. He would remain by his side even in the youth’s madness. “Great my wings are covered in ash.” Glistening white feathers were now an ashen gray, a departure from the pristine wings he held in such high regard. “Legion drop me off here.” Shocked at the odd request, but compelled to obey the majestic angelmon floated to the ground below. With Obasi held snuggly in his hands the angemon lowered the boy to the ground.
“Legion, I have no purpose. What is my purpose?” Arms at his side, Obasi repeatedly asked his digimon to identify his purpose as his body rocked from side to side. “Hmm, I would like to think you can forge your own destiny, master.” As if unaware of Legion’s reply the chocolate youth posed his question again, this time moving in a tiny circle. “I don’t know maybe.” A laughter rivaling an insane man followed the boy’s response to his digimon’s words of encouragement. “Little master, I think we should leave soon.” Not only was Obasi’s crossing of the sanity horizon worrisome, but they were in a place not fit for vaccines, or angels. Granted he was strong, but nothing compared to an armor ultimate. The Angel could at least breathe a sigh of relief that Obasi would listen to him, at least after he finished his psychotic break.
