Blake had just recently received a request via the Nexus app, and was entitled to investigate the message to discern if it was fact or fiction. Using the handy digital jump that was available to him via the Nexus base he teleported himself to the Giygan Volcano in the western region of the digital world. This was his first time actually travelling to this portion of the digital world, and it seemed his partner wasn’t too fond of the climate. Looking over at Blue he would note that he was sweating profusely, and panting heavily with his tongue extended from his mouth.
“What’s the matter Blue? Too hot for ya?”
The boy would laugh as he looked at the displeasure on his buddys face; though he was just attempting to use humor to dull the thought of their situation. “Out of all the members of Nexus they pick one who loves the ice attribute, and send him into a volcano does that make sense to you?” The boy would reach down, and pet his partner on the head, and would smile. “I know you are uncomfortable buddy, but bear with it we have to help the people of the digital world. Its part of our job as Nexus to bring about a peaceful union of the world's.”
The small dog digimon would lick the palm of his tamers hand, and look up at him. “I know you are right Blake the heats just so draining, but I will do it for you not Nexus or any other reason.”
“That’s all I ask.” The tamer would mutter as they made their way to a village not far from the base of the volcano. Walking into the village they would spot a Dinohumon that was said to be the chief of the village. “Are you the one that called us to come out here?” Blue would mutter. Blake would leap forward putting his hand on the head of his partner, “Please look over him he is hot, and not used to the heat. I am Blake Winchester of Nexus that walking sweater is Blue my partner, and we are here to help you any way that we can. What seems to be the problem Dinohumon?”
The reptilian humanoid digimon would look to the ground; “It is a pleasure to meet you Blake, and Blue of the Nexus. We have big problem little Koromon make way up tall volcano, and stuck. We no flying digimon; we no able get him.”
Blake would then begin to scratch his head; how was he going to rescue a digimon who was stuck in an area unclimbable with a digimon that can’t fly. “Don’t worry we'll get the little guy down.”
The reptilian would cross his arm across his chest, and would mutter “thank you humon.”
The dynamic duo would make their way across the open terrain toward the area the young koromon was once located. Blue would look up at his tamer panting; “hey Blake how are we going to rescue that little guy if he is so high, and I can’t fly? Why did you tell them you could do it?”
The tamer would look at the ground then back over at his partner; “It’s like this buddy when you are in dire situations where people’s lives are on the line you want to protect their emotions. As for the how we are going to get him down I haven’t the foggiest of ideas, but we won’t give up until we succeed. That’s what Zach would do?”
The dog would breath speak under his breath; “no Zach would have panthermon digivolve, and fly up there to get ‘em.”
The boy would playfully get his partner in a headlock; “don’t be such a pessimist we will succeed just have to hope it works out.”
Once they were on the scene Blake would look up noting the small Koromon on a small ledge off the side of the volcano. “Damn he is way up there.” He would mutter as he walked over to the volcano examining its edges. “Try to give her a climb Blue.” Blue would bark, and would charge at the volcano attempting to make his way to the top, but to his dismay falling back to the ground. They tried this for what appeared to be hours, and with no success.
Then like the volcano had risen to life it began to rumble, and smoke began to billow out its top. “I am no expert or anything, but I think that thing is about to blow its cork.” The dog would motion.
“We have to help him there has to be a way we just can’t lose hope!” He would mutter, which caused a reaction out of the corner of his eyes a golden digiegg would float toward him stopping just in front of him. On the digiegg was a familiar symbol the symbol of hope. If the digital world was offering it to him it was for a purpose. Reaching forth he grabbed the digiegg, and it shown a golden color. “Digi armor energize!” He would shout as he extended the digiegg in front of barkmon causing it to shoot forth, and engulf him in a golden light.
“Barkmon Armor Digivolve to…”
Then his body would begin to change shape, and then burst forth from the energy sphere. Revealing a large Pegasus looking digimon with a skull cap with a horn, and the symbol of hope embroidered onto it. “Unimon the beacon of Hope!”
“Blue lets save Koromon!” The horse digimon would rise to stand on its hind to hooves neying. “Hop on!” Blue would mutter. The tamer would quickly make his way onto the back of his partner would would launch himself into the air, and fly over to the Koromon. Blake would lunge forward grabbing the small digimon, and would fly him back to his home.
Back in the village.
“Dinohumon must thank you Nexus good for us!”
The tamer would nod, “Don’t worry about it man just don’t let him go climbing again okay.”
