A day at the beach (Open)

It was... a horrible day in the real world with the near constant thunder and rain that could fill a bucket in only 3 minutes, this storm was one of those that made headlines in the past. Thankfully though, Yusuke had found a cure to cabin fever a week or so earlier, the Digital world!
The sounds of clacking keys was Yusuke who, after gathering some ingredients and drinks for the travel, locked his door and told his family he was going to take a nap.

He had heard of beautiful beaches near the southern edge of the Digital world, and wanted to see them himself. Plus it gets him away from the dreary weather on earth, a win/win situation for sure! So, after a quick bit of travel


"Yusuke, wait for me!" shouts the familiar Patamon, Crystal, as she flies after the blond teen. The digital word did in fact have clear, but not cloudless, skies that made his heart leap for joy! The teen had his bag with him, as usual, but he also had a bag with beach fairing requirements. There were at least 3 towels, a extra pair of swimming clothes... And dont forget the ingredients he brought! He carried enough herbs, spices, and rice to feed at least 5 Humans, or Digimon... as well as a fishing pole! He was planning a relaxing day for the both of them.

The sounds of the ocean steadily grew louder as they approached the beaches, and the dirt and grass changed to soft, warm sand. It was almost the perfect definition of a beach in the tropics of Earth, yet the water was an almost unrealistic sapphire blue color... That wouldn't stop Yusuke for having a good time!
He gets to work setting up the "camp" under a palm tree, and by the time her partner has a chair set up, she shouts at him "You should have.... waited for me!" she takes a few more deep breaths and then asks "Why did you want to come here anyway? You have beaches in your world, dont you?"

Today was one of those days when coming to the digital world was not only the best but the only thing to do. Yana was no stranger to cold... However she wasn't fond of rainy, thunderstorm days, the kind that made even staying at the house and looking outside a depressing experience. She'd much rather be in the digital world, meet some new Digimon and even people, and most of all hang out with her partner. True, Ari came to the real world more often than not, but it was always more fun to have her show the digital world around. No doubt Ari felt the same about seeing the Real world, but with weather like this, it wasn't easy for Yana to convince her to be elsewhere: She packed her stuff, put them on her backpack, and off to the Digital world they were!

She logged on in the South Area of the digital world, but for once she paid no attention to the Shin Sekai dominated Triton City and went straight for Coela coast, immediately looking up at the sky with a smile on her face, shielding her eyes from the radiant sunbeams. "Such a lovely weather~", Ari commented, basking in the sun's warmth. The contrast between the weather here and the real world only made it better.

"Much better than Tokyo!", Yana answered, nodding approvingly as the two girls began a long walk by the sea. She promptly took off her shoes and thights, walking around the shore and feeling the soft sand under her feet, the crashing waves soothing away the depressing feel of the lousy weather back in the real world...

"Yes, we do have beaches in our world, Crystal. But right now, even if I wanted to go to one of those far off beaches, my home is being bombarded by storms... The kind of storms that seals everyone inside." Yusuke replies as he continues his work, looking for rocks to set up a fire pit. "Alright" the Patamon thinks before her partner asks "Do me a favor and start fishing, would you?" before getting back to his work.
"Fish? I dont know how to fish..." the Patamon looks slightly embarrassed as she picks up the fishing pole and looks at it. "It's easy, in fact a goon number of people in my world often use it as a way to escape or take a nap."

Yusuke then tells her to sit down on top of a large rock, one that was a little closer to the ocean than the palm tree was. "Now, you take this." He says as he shows her the right way to hold the fishing pole "And then you take the hook that's on the line, here and you put a piece of bait on the hook, like bread, worms... even soap." at the mention of soap as bait, Crystal asks "Soap!? What kind of fish would want to eat soap?" to which Yusuke answers "Catfish and some other types of fish are attracted to strong smells, and a good bunch of cheap soap smells horribly."
"Weird fish...."

After an hour of fishing, Yusuke manages to somehow fall asleep as the ocean waves continue to sooth his soul... Until a fish almost yanks the chair out from under him! "Oh no you dont!" Shouts the teen as he yanks to set the hook,and then starts pulling against the fish. Crystal jumps up from her similar nap and hurriedly pulls on Yusuke's shirt... All this commotion would be able to be heard for miles.

The two kept on walking through the beach and Yana gradually got rid of every article of clothing on her, starting with her jacket, skirt, and so forth until all that remained was the bikini she had picked a while back, before hopping onto the digital world.

She walked peacefully by the water's edge, enjoying the way the crashging waves soaked and gently caressed her feet up to her ankles, with Ari walking next to her, a bit further away from the water. The less soaked she got the better. Cats don't like diving and for a good reason: Her fur would get waterlogged and she'd lose the bulk of her speed in case she needed it, "You're so much like a cat, Ari...!", Yana would tease, giggling at the sight of her partner deftly avoiding the water.

"Don't tell me you're just finding that out now~", the Gatomon would tease in return, sharing a giggle with her best friend. There were plenty of digimon up and about but at some point the two girls noticed a particularly loud ruckus coming from further away. Heading over to investigate, they'd be greeted by a rather amusing sight of Yusuke and Crystal struggling with a fishing rope, "I take it the fish are biting well?"

"Hello, Yusuke-san, Crystal... Uhm... Do you need help with that?", Yana would greet the duo with a shy smile

As Yusuke fought with the fish, and Crystal tugs on the back of his shirt, a familiar voice came from a little farther away "I take it the fish are biting well?" Yusuke's only able to take a momentary glance at the cat-like Digimon and, Yana, her partner before sliding down the beach another two inches... almost making him loose balance.
A question came from the black haired teen beside him, granting a little relief to Yusuke before the fish pulls again. "Yes! Please help!" the blond teen asks before the thing starts to yank again!
The water near the shore is churning, almost like a monsters on the other end!

Yusuke answered Ari's joke in the best or worst possible way, by struggling even harder and calling out for her help. Even the tiny Crystal was throwing her weight in there and the Russian ballerina defenitely wasn't the type of girl to ignore a friend in dire need of her assistance. Wasting not a moment, she scooted over beside him and grabbed onto the fishing tod, with even Ari pouncing in to pull her own weight, getting in front of the two teenagers and pulling on the rod from a lower angle, "Hnnnghh!!", she'd grit her teeth, wincing and furrowing her brow at the splashing around in the water, "I-its... So heavy!!", Yana would grunt as she tried to push her heels against the rock as hard as she could
