So... Here she was... Yana had thought about this for a long time, talked about it to plenty of people. There was still much she didn't know, and even less she knew as to how to proceed from there, but if there was one notion that didn't change was this: War was coming, and like it or not they would eventually be pulled into it. As either combatants, or victims. Even the Real world wouldn't be safe as the Shin Sekai revealed a few days ago in Tokyo. They were willing to destroy everything if it meant they could rule over the ashes. Not all of the people she called here had been offered the same mission by Jupitermon, some of them she didn't even know. Yana had asked Hyde to bring in others "with the resolve to do whatever it takes", she had to wonder what kind of people he'd bring along. Would she know them...? Would she like them...? Yana had an easy time understanding and liking all but the most cruel of people, but who knew what kind of resolve this mission would require? Hyde knew that better than she did... As for the others, well, she had met them all before, some more than others. A few even hold a special meaning to her... Licking her lip, she thought back to the first kiss she'd given Haru, and could only hope at least her would heed her call. She knew that many of them didn't trust Jupitermon. Hell, even Yana couldn't really say she believed in the kindness of his heart. But she did know that an all out battle between the Olympus and the Seven would result in a cataclysm. Perhaps that was exactly what the Shin Sekai wanted to paint the Olympus as evil, otherwise they would just kill to their heart's content and achieve the same result. In the end Plutomon would get his wishes of revenge against the rest of the Olympus. That said, even though Yana and the other marked ones had been summoned to fight in a war, she didn't really want to do that. Yes, she wanted to stop the Seven's machinations, but not fight fire with fire. She knew that was probably just a naive dream on her part, but she'd reserve judgement until she'd heard what the others all had to say on the matter: Soon, the meeting place was finally in sight: It wasn't easy to find this place... Yana spent the most part of yesterday looking over old maps, no-longer-used caravan routes and the like, and after a whole day of searching the most remote places in the Matrix sand sea, she found it: A big, lush oasis, yet so remote people stopped coming there once the trade route it was on disappeared. The palms trees were huge, one of them even had a tree house they could use in the meantime, what remained of an old resting ground for travelling merchants. Nefertimon was at home in this desert envoiroment, her keen Sphynx eyes taking in every bit of information she needed to travel accurately... Yana, however, didn't fare much better. Wearing a cloth over her head like a bedouin, she sweated and panted copiously under the scorching desert heat "Lets rest under that shade, Ari...", Yana urged with a sluggish, overheating tone as she fanned herself. Adjusting her glasses as Ari slowly decelerated and descended, she adjusted her glasses as they slipped down her nose. She sat down right next to a lake, under the shade of the treehouse. Ominous creaking sounds hinted to its instability under the desert wind, but it had endured all this time, it wouldn't fall now, right? Yana wasted no time grabbing her bottle and chugging down what remained, only to be promptly admonished by her partner as she laid down: "You should refill your water Nana-chan... We still have a return trip once this is over."

[Nicholas Hyde]

"Please tell me...why she decided to have us meet...in a desert?" Hyde muttered in irritation as Sable, in the form of Knight Chessmon, strode through the dunes of the Matrix Sandsea. "Wish I could tell you sir," she replied, sounding tired from the trip. The sun was baking, heat was rising up from the sand. Why couldn't they have met somewhere cooler? Like Borealis City? Sure, Hyde's all white attire helped take some of the heat, but there was a limit to this.

Soon enough, they spotted their objective up ahead. An oasis, an old resting ground for travelling merchants. Ok, so maybe this wasn't such a bad spot to meet. Secluded, out in the middle of nowhere, and hard to reach. As they closed in, Hyde sighed as he felt the shade fall over him. Spotting a watering hole, Sable wasted no time in charging towards it, causing the unprepared Hyde to topple off of it and land in the sand. Honestly, Hyde was just too glad to be out of the heat to be annoyed at that. Instead, he got to his feet, dusted himself off, and turned his attention to one rather large treehouse. He had a feeling that Yana would be up there.

"Yana!" he called out down below, "So help me, you'd better be up there!"

Yana Sekigawa

Zachary and Panthermon had begun looking over the Sandsea desert of the digital world. Another exploratory mission, but even Zachary had to admit it was a bleak place out there. But he had heard word of another person-- his friend Yana, was out there as well. Yana and Zachary had met several times in the digital world and a couple of times int he real world. In fact Zachary invited her to be a member of Nexus too, which she accepted. Though the group was still forming, Zachary was driven to try and build something out of it. 

Now, anyway, Zachary rode upon the back of Mytholomon-- Panthermon's Champion form-- upon the blazing desert sun. Considering the heat of the sun, along with the heat from Mytholomon's burning wings and black fur, both parties were starting to feel a bit warm under the collar. 

"What was that old tale, of the person who flew too close to the sun, his wings melted and he fell?" Mytholomon growled.

"Icarus..." Zachary sighed, wiping sweat from his brow.

The large cat flapped his wings, and continued to glide forward across the sky of the sand sea. "Well, Icarus should of stayed on land then. I don't know about him, but my wings feel just as melty now in this heat." the cat complained.

"Technically, they melt cause he was too close to the sun--"

"I know that! But we both are baking like potatoes in this heat!" the panther snapped back. "We should land somewhere and rest. I don't know what that girl is up to out here, but she couldn't pick the jungle, or a city, or some iceberg somewhere?"

Zachary rolled his eyes as he continued to scan the surroundings... Then he heard his digivice go off. Taking it out quickly, he soon spotted a blip on the radar. He had no doubt. It was Yana, considering the pink color of the radar blip. "I think I found her. She is that way," Zachary said, pointing to the south-east.

With a grumble of discomfort, Mytholomon turned and headed in that direction. It didn't take long till they soon spotted the oasis. At first Zachary thought it was a mirage, till he slapped a hand on his cheek hard to snap it out. He was right, there was an oasis. Seeing it too, Mytholomon began to land, their shadow passing over Yana and Ani.

Slowly the two touched down at the end of the oasis-- and without even a word, Mytholomon went right for the water, and took a good drink from it.

Zachary hopped off and spotted Yana nearby. "HEY! Yana!" Zachary shouted, waving to her and running her way. After reaching her, he stopped and rested with his hands on his knees. "Hey! Good thing I spotted you here. What's the deal? Why did you want to come out in this place?" Zachary asked, curious why such an isolated and desolate location.

Fortunately they had this shade to rest under... The treehouse may look unpleasantly unstable, but fortunatrely it didn't look like it would fall apart just by sitting under it, which might make the whole experience of it looming over their heads all that much nastier. She wouldn't gamble heading up there now, but no doubt if they tried fixing it up a little they might actually be able to use it as a meeting place for however many next meetings they'd end up arranging. Yana chugged her now full bottle in one go, just as Ari too followed her to the small lake to drink her fill. Afterwards, she refilled her bottle yet again and the two girls returned to their place under the shade. If it had taken them all this time to find the place even at the second try, who knew how long her friends would take on their first attempt? Eventually, someone came. In such a desolate, quiet envoiroment, it wasn't hard to hear someone approaching. Yana sincerely doubted she'd see anyone but teh friend she had called over so she was quite at ease with the whole thing. "Over here, Hyde-san!!", she'd call out from under the treehouse, urging them to join her under the shade, yet even before he had done so, yet another of her friends answered her summons, "Zach!!", she'd call out. Ari remained silent, lazily resting under the shade as she recoverd her energy after teh grueling journey, allowing Yana to look at her two friends, then the horizon, wondering if any others would come by. But with no others appearing and Yana having two people to brief, she opted to start right away. She knew they would have to share this with a few people, but she also knew that the less people knew it, the better. She had told Hyde that while she was aware of the coming war, she had no interest in fighting it. Zachary too knew that, they had heard it from the same source: "We should start by telling him... About that.", she told Zachary, looking up towards the sky hoping he'd remember what Jupitermon had told them all there. After this, she would turn to Hyde, who had yet to hear about that, "The Seven aren't our true enemy, Hyde-san... They're nothing but puppets of Plutomon. And they're willing to kill whoever stands in their way even though their battle is against the Olympus." Yana looked at Zach, waiting to see if he had anything to add to this information. Particularly where had they learned about all of that, about a member of Olympus pulling the strings behind public enemy nº1.
