Adam couldn't believe he was doing this with his team. Not to long ago a evil call went out from a digimon who called itself Rustmon. The being said that they were going to kill all in the digital world. That was something that Adam and his partners could not stand for so they decided to keep their ears to the ground in order to hear word of attacks so that maybe they could track down the monster and hopefully stop the carnage before it got to bad. It took about a week after the call for news to reach the jungles of the digital world and the ears of the Jackson trio. From what they understood, the carnage seemed to come from multiple locations but was combining into one singular point in the Vale Highlands.
Once the trio was mentally prepared, they stocked up on food inside of Adam's food pouch and headed toward the highlands, taking a short cut through the jungle so that hopefully they would beat their foe to the battlefield so that they could keep innocents out of harms way. As they traveled through the trees out of the jungle and into the highlands, both Remy and Renae looked at their tamer with concerned looks as they saw how serious their friend looked. They then looked back and forth between one another as if silently arguing about who would be the one to speak up. It took a moment but Remy finally cleared his throat causing Adam to huff to show he was paying attention as the trio effortlessly jumped from tree to tree at top speed.
"You know me Adam, I'm always up for a good fight but do you think this is a smart idea? We have never even digivolved to champion before and this guy seems like he's a tough customer. Are you sure we can handle it by ourselves?"
As the trio reached the final tree of the jungle, Adam stopped and looked at his digimon with a stern look but his shaking body showed that he was afraid despite putting on a brave face. It took a moment and a few deep breaths but Adam was finally able to look up at his partners.
"If not us it will just be someone else. If anything we can buy others either time to escape or to get together to fight. This world is our home and it's digimon our family. We have a duty to protect them the best we can no matter what happens to us."
Once he was done speaking, Adam's two twin digimon looked at each other and just nodded at one another before they each put a paw on their tamers shoulder.
"We are with you sweetie."
"Till the end of the line."
This caused the young Wild Boy to smile as the trio jumped down from the trees and broke into a top speed run, using a triangle type formation so that they could fend off attacks from all angles as they entered the fields. Once the trio reached the top of a tall hill they decided to stop. As they waited the wind began to blow harder as if to signal a kind of omen which made the coat tails of Adam's green hooded trench coat blow back as well as his digivice.
"It shouldn't be long now."
As if on cue, Adam's green sided digivice that hung around his neck began to beep rapidly signalling the approach of a wild digimon. As it beeped the trio just popped their necks. Renae looked a bit worried but her brother was grinning from ear to ear excited about fighting such a strong foe. All Adam could think about was protecting his home from the foe that was fast approaching.
