Hyde managed to close in on Chiwa, or at least, he would have if the little sprite hadn't flown up out of his grasp. Ok, sure, remaining out of the opponent's reach was always a smart tactic, but it was just so damn annoying, not to mention the way she was teasing him the entire time. "Hey!" Hyde yelled out indignantly, "Get down here and fight me! This is supposed to be a training session!" Of course, being distracted by the floating sprite gave Drum more than enough time to fire off his fireball, one Hyde didn't see coming until it was too late.

Aw crap.

The blast hit him square in the back, scorching his back and knocking him flat to the floor. Damn that hurt! The leader of the Wild Cards seethed from the pain in his back as he pulled himself back to his feet. Alright. Gotta focus. No distractions!

Sky above me. Earth below me. Fire within me. "Yes!" Drum cheered as his fireball hit the man's back. "Diret hit!" It looked like it hurt too, sometimes he forgot that humans could be really squishy against a Digimon's attack but then he remembered the exploits that some humans could do and let that thought shrivel up and die for now. After all, everything was fair in love and war... or so the saying went. "Alright, Hyde! Take another one!" Taking a deep and summoning the fire of his Digicore with a cry of, "Pyro Sphere!" He unleashed another fireball at Hyde's direction. Too bad that the extra energy of before was now gone and with it so was the fire shroud enveloping his body. OOC: Aimed a Pyro Sphere at Hyde's direction. Pyro Sphere; 1 post cooldown. ATTACK POWER: 110%. [Drumdramon] [Level: Rookie] [Attribute: Vaccine] [Passives] [○ Reckless Charge] - Excitement coursing through his veins, Drum's attacks have a 10% oomph. [Attacks] [○ Piercing Drill] - Stabs his opponent with the drill-end of his tail or his hand while spinning it, causing 10% damage over time for two turns. (Cooldown: 2 posts) [○ Pyro Sphere] - Taking a deep breath while the tubes of his body began to spew smoke, Drum shoots a large fireball at the target to damage them, said damage would double if the target is currently experiencing a DoT. Odette would watch Drum as she was flying above as her dear Chiwa. She didn't want to get hit at all and she knew that she couldnt being at this height. Her eyes would watch both of Hyde and Drum. Not knowing on what to do besides just floating within the sky. 'Well, this is boring.' she would think as she would then twirl her finger once more and then used a bit of water to whip Hyde form behind. She would laugh if it succeeded, but why wouldn't it? It was pure silent, the water was soothing and quiet like the non-howling winds. Her heart would be calm unlike the other days. Chiwa-Odette would just twirl around within the air, enjoying the sun as Drum and Hyde went after each other after her simple whip attack that would then disperse and disappear.

As Drum unleashed another fireball, Hyde was ready for it this time. He swung out his arm, catching the ball of fire and knocking it aside. No more burning sneak attacks. His back was still stinging from the last one. As he moved in on him though, he let out a sudden yelp as something smacked him on the rear. He glanced over his shoulder just in time for Chiwa's water whip to fade away. Did...did she just smack him on the ass? He honestly did not expect that from the French spirit wielder. But he could question her on that later. Right now, there was a certain rookie digimon in need of a punching. He lunged towards Drum, lashing out with his fist to strike him.

Once more one willing to use his enemy's surprise to his advantage, the Mini Dragon Digimon recklessly lunged for Hyde at the same time that the man gunned for him, a slowly reverberating cry spilling from his lips as he lifted his hand, the one with the drill and aimed to meet the clash head on. "Moete Kita Zo!" A fiery aura surrounded the Dragon Digimon, he was ready for battle! Give points to the small Digimon, at least he wasn't one to back down from a challenge, giving the major size difference and the reach of limbs, Hyde's attack hit faster than Drum's, but it seemed that the little guy played that to his advantage, as he was send flying back he quickly inhaled and let forth a fireball from his lips! It's intent was clear, to hit Hyde by catching him off-guard and deal some damage. Drum winced when his back connected solidly with the ground and bounced a few times before it came to a stop a few feet away. "Ow..." The Mini Dragon hissed in pain, even though Hyde had only hit him maybe two times in this whole match, those blows still hurt considering they came from the man's modified arm which he heard could even give an Ultimate Digimon some pause. The fact that he had been still standing when the first blow came was a blessing in itself, let alone two of them. OOC: Meet Hyde's challenge with a cry of his own, and suffered the consequences for it; but not without perhaps giving some of his own, he sent a Pyro Sphere at Hyde's way in retaliation.
