 PERSONALITY Akira Kato is two things, a person and a DATS agent. The way he goes about things is that one of these takes precedence over the other depending on if he’s working or not. First and foremost, he takes his work as a DATS agent pretty seriously, often taking a very professional stance and tone to his coworkers and/or superiors on the field and doing what’s needed to get the mission done. Akira has a slight dislike of the recent surge of...kids his cousin’s age trying to (and failing miserably, in his eyes) to play hero. He also has a tendency to defer to the higher-ranked officers when necessary when they’re around during missions. As a person, Akira’s decidedly more meek than he acts on the job. And a lot more talkative, too. In fact, he acts much more like a regular person off duty. Much to the infuriation of some people, if we were honestly speaking here. He's like a coin in that regard if the sides were split up completely.

Primarily used to restrain and store Kappy.
BIOGRAPHY Akira’s life had a really...average-ish sort of start at the time. Born in Saitama on January 4th, 2022 to one Reika Aizawa and Eito Kato. His father was a marine biologist, and his mother...well, she wouldn’t say. All she ever told Eito and eventually Akira was that it was for the greater good. It was a turbulent time given he was born during World War III of all things. As he grew in the time of war, his parents rarely home as they were, sent him to stay with his uncle and his cousin rather often, and visited when they could. Life was this way for a long while. Through school and other things, Akira found himself moving neighborhoods often. Up until the war ended, which, in all honesty was likely the best year Akira had had. His mother was able to stay more often which mitigated the fact that his father was often absent from his life being caught up in work. Would you believe it if what’s next was it only lasted for 5 months? Because it only lasted for five months. What happened after five months? Well, to put it simply...A digimon had thought it to be a grand idea to bio-emerge in Akira’s room. Granted, it was merely a metal fox...Thing, but it was a very surreal thing at that. He’s pretty sure he managed to befriend it, in a moment of monumental stupidity. Stupid enough that his own mother apprehended both him and the fox in the name of DATS hours later. What a way to find out your mother was essentially a...cop of sorts. He was held in custody and eventually given an ultimatum by DATS. It was join or remain detained. One wouldn’t have to guess what he picked.

PERSONALITY Ah, where to start? Kappy's a rather crude and grouchy Digimon when you first meet him. He also takes a perverse glee in tormenting his tamer and the people around him whenever it is appropriate, and many are quite certain that half of what this lizard spouts sometimes is just old, old sayings from the 2010s. Make no mistake, however, when Kappy's respect and/or friendship is earned, he treats those who earned it entirely different, often being polite and actually helpful. Or what he -thinks- is helpful. Akira likes him, though. That's clearly why he keeps him around, right?
BACKGROUND Kappy's first impressions on the world were a loud and obnoxious fox-creature that came out of an 18 year old's computer screen and caused a brief power outage. Yeah, he's the Digimon that got Akira detained, and himself detained as well. This didn't quite stop Akira from partnering up with him on the sole basis of familiarity, quite the foolish decision on his part. He seems a bit older than he acts, but at the same time refuses to speak of whatever past lives he's lived through.

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ HEARING - With bat-like traits, Kapurimon is really, really good at hearing things. Unfortunately, he's sensitive to loud noises. Damn.

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ DEBAUCHERY - Kappy takes glee in the art of combat, building up a counter of three for every attack thrown, one per attack. Once the counter hits 3, he gets a free attack with no cooldown on top of whatever he's doing for that post.
ATTACKS ○ THE HOT HEAD - Kappy lights his bamboo sword on fire and strikes at his foe. ○ THUNDEROUS KOTE - Kappy sparks up his first with electricity and attempt to strike his foe in order to stun them. Rookies 1 post, doesn't work on Champ/above. 2 post CD. ○ DP (DESTINY PUNCH) - By sheer force of will, Kappy straight up tanks an attack and counters it for 50% of what that attack's damage would have done.. 4 post CD.

PASSIVE ABILITIES ○ FEROCITY - Let's put this simple as can be. Kappy is an extremely fierce fighter in this form, about as fierce as a berserker of old. His attacks are, in turn, are 20% more damaging than they would normally be.
ATTACKS .○ BAD INTENTIONS - The opener. Yasyamon's eyes glow a scarlet red before they emit a bright flash of light, stunning Champion and below for 1 ost. Their defenses are also nullified for that post and that post only. 3 post CD.○ DP (DOUBLE the PUNISHMENT) - The main course. Yasyamon takes two strikes at an enemy with his twin swords. Guaranteed to leave splinters for double the pain if you're not careful.○ KILLER DOLL - The dessert. Yasyamon goes into a frenzy, boosting his speed by quite a bit and giving his attacks a bleed effect that progressively slows the opponent more and more. Lasts for four turns. 2 post CD. Starts after it ends. Opponent slowed by 15% more each turn for four turns if hit by one of Yasyamon's moves. Yasyamon's moves have their cooldown all reduced by one turn and he spouts debilitatingly horrid memes while doing so.○ LEECHING GAZE - Yasyamon's eyes glow green and he attempts to siphon life from the area around him, healing him by 20%. Upped to 30% if he was damaged before. 2 turn CD.

Yasyamon's Killer Doll - Change that desert to dessert ya piece of crap. Also you can just change this to a 2 Post cooldown after ending. |
