Dear friends,

I am glad we had all gotten to know each other and communicated in the past few weeks. It has been an enlightening experience. Many of you had expressed the desire to 'meet' and I do agree for those of you who want to. So I decided to make a plan. For all you tamers, spirit-users, and anyone else who shows interest :-) , time for us all to take this to a meeting to the digital world.

Let's meet one week from today, 3 PM EST time in the place called TERABYTE CITY in the East section of the digital world. It's pretty easy to find. I will be waiting with my black cat digimon Panthermon. You can't meet me. Let's meet there, in the TERABYTE SQUARE next to the fountain in the middle.

It had been a week since he sent that message. He dreaded to even check it to see if others would respond. He made the time as convenient as possible. While any simple net browser might of shrugged off the post as a game... Zachary meant every word of it. And now the time and date had come. Starting at his cell phone, he looked at the message he wrote-- along with the clock on his phone, reading 2:53 PM on it, EST as it was where he lived in.

The day was sunny and it was a pleasant and peaceful day among the streets of Terabyte City, one of the biggest cities of the digital world, which was supposedly on the back of Ceresmon, a great island digimon. The lore and build aside, it was one of the more friendlier and supporting cities in the digital world where many kinds of digimon and people mingled. It was a melting pot for many cultures and creatures. It was a place he felt safe, comfortable and happy there.

He listened to the babbling of the large fountain behind him, feeling the mist blow off of it in the air. Sitting at the stone edge of it, Zachary rested there, his elbows on his knees as he leaned forward, looking at his phone, and occasionally would glance around. Aside other digimon shopping at the markets, or sitting on the benches-- including an odd scene of street performing Wizardmon doing tricks off nearby... Zachary didn't see anyone who stuck out to him yet. Beside him, Panthermon was resting. The jungle cat digimon had his paws folded one over the other, laying down as his black fur soaked up the warm sunshine and felt the mist of the fountain.

"Not a bad place to meet Zachary. Try to relax and don't be so nervous," Panthermon said, looking to his partner. He could sense Zachary's anxiety and restlessness. He wanted to meet other tamers, and he had now formed a way to bring them all together here.

Still, Zachary was nervous. He had never taken the 'lead' in something like this before. His desire to meet others like him was strong, and he just hoped others would respond and answer his request. He knew he could count on Blake as they had already met. The others, he didn't know...

Now he just had to wait and see who would arrive. Zachary reached over and stroked Panthermon's fur on his head. "I'm trying to, Panthermon. It's just a big thing I am trying to do. I hope it works..." Zachary said, sighing and trying to keep a firm upper lip.

Theos and Dantelion walked about the city. Theos was more than happy to be here. He hopped ahead and ran around. So many digimon and smells. He wondered if they would all eat dinner together. Dantelion looked around the lively city. It was full of greenery. He had to say it was a beautiful place. It was a few minutes before the meeting time. It was time to head over to the fountain. "I can't wait." Theos said his tail wagging. He jumped onto the fountain rim and pranced around. Dantelion followed along walking beside the fountain. His eyes caught a person sitting there through the mist. One of the ones he was to meet? "Hi," Theos said as his prancing stopped beside the individual. Though his tail remained wagging. "Theos," Dantelion sighed. Theos responded by jumping down. "Are you two waiting as well," Theos asked. Dantelion took in the pair. A black cat.... no panther with a cape. The human had brown hair and looked rather young. This had to be Zaber though. The black cat digimon called a panthermon was a dead give away. "Names Theos and this is Dantelion my partner." Theos said introducing them. "And you are Zaber I presume." Dantelion responded.

It had been a week since Zaber had sent out a message inviting all of the tamers, and members of the site to meet him in the digital world. This was something that Blake had been looking forward to since he first met him in New York. He had learned a lot from the tamer, and was excited to show him that he had heeded his advice, and put it towards his training. The dog digimon Barkmon watched as his tamer seemed to feed off the emotions of his partner. “So, you are excited about meeting Zach again, huh?” The boy would nod, “Yeah, I have a lot of respect for that man, and what he is attempting to do with Nexus. We gotta hurry Blue if we want to be punctual.” The dog would bark, and would follow him to his computer monitor, and acting upon instinct extended his digivice to the monitor. “Digiport open!” He would shout as a bright blue light would encompass the duo drawing them into the computer.

Once the light would clear the duo had arrived in a flush city full of buildings reaching into his pocket he pulled out his digivice, and pulled up the map option. The map confirmed his suspicion he was standing in Terrabyte City. There were so many digimon around, and everyone acted civil as though they were there to bring about good times. “I like this place Blue, unlike all the other digimon we have met aside from Panthermon these are good digimon.” Blue would nod his head in agreement. “Not all digimon are bad we just have bad raps for being savages; they make the rest of us look bad.” The boy would nod as he made his way to the square where the fountain was when he noticed Zach sitting on the edge. He would run up to his newfound friend, and would wave. “Yo, Zaber what's up?” Without hesitation the small blue dog digimon would run to Panthermon, and would wag his tail with excitement. “It’s been awhile Panthermon how are you doing?”

Out of the corner of the tamers eyes he would spot a light blue haired tamer, and his partner and energetic dog type digimon. Turning he would face the newfound tamer, and would smile “Hey there sorry for the rudeness the names Lonewolf, and this is my partner Barkmon you can call him blue though. What's your name?”

Kiss ✰ Me "It's been a while since I've seen you in that form, Havoc." Haruto would say whilst look down at the small leonine Digimon walking beside him. "Dude, I can see your eyes judging me, you're barely a foot taller than me." Havoc said, the Spadamon looking at his tamer with his perfected bitch face firmly in place. Haruto snorted. "Yep, and don't you forget that." It was nice, this bantering they had with each other, it reminded him of his friends back in the real world; just like that, his mood took a bit of a damper as he realized that asides from Taiga he hasn't seen Naoko in weeks and he was starting to get worried. "Yo, Haruto, there they are! He seems to have some company already." Looking at where his partner pointed the pink-haired human saw a nice grouping by the fountain, the most telling feature that this was the man he was looking for was the large black feline Digimon laying beside him. Jackpot. "Hey!" Haruto called towards the group, waving his hand as he approached them with a smile, though if one looked closely they'd see that the human was a bit nervous about this small gathering and he was sure it was just about to get bigger and bigger as the minutes passed. "It's nice to finally meet you, Zaber, Panthermon, and the others." He barely caught their names before he got there, and he nodded at each of them in turn; acknowledging their presence. "The name's Haruto; Mori Haruto. My partner over yonder is Havoc." "Pleasure to make your acquaintances." The Spadamon in question nodded his greeting and stood by Haruto, content to watch the events unfold for now unless decided to start a conversation with him.

The webpage Serah had been browsing caught her interest when she found it. Even though she was a registered member of DATS, and was sworn to its same policies, this website interested her. It took some time but it wasn't hard for her to get it-- it was a sight created by a digimon tamer, trying to reach out to others like him. He sounded competent, if a bit naive in his approach. But when facing a life of lonliness, isolated by one's gifts like being a tamer, it was natural to try and reach out under the cover of an anonymous source.

For Serah, she understood that all too well.

When she saw the request to meet within the digital world, she knew she had to act. As a Member of Dats, she could overlook things. She doubted there was any kind of malevolent intent to it, but she wanted to be sure. If there was, she would report it back to base and act then. But for now, she was more interested in making connections and allies, not enemies. Even though under different colors, she respected the goal that Nexus had.

So they went to Terabyte City.

Commandramon and Serah arrived there among the bustling crowd, going rather unnoticed. She wore her usual green vest and attire, and shorts and sneakers as well-- her blond hair tied back in a tail. Commandramon followed in toe, his little riffle shouldered. "This is a change for you. I didn't figure you were the type of person to go for meet and greets," Commandramon said. "You sure its a good idea?"

Serah looked forward unafraid as she made her way to the square. "Meeting new people is important. I couldn't really ignore this for many reasons, but a group of tamers meeting... I can relate to it. Its not the same as dats either. It feels more... free. Besides as a member of Dats i have to check up on it." she said to him.

"Undercover work huh?" Commandramon chirped and saluted in mid walk. "The name is 'mon'. Commandra-mon!" The chatty cyborg digimon joked. Happily following along, Commandramon understood that they keep the fact they were in Dats quiet and just keep in mind of meeting the other tamers. At least this was not during some great catastrophe like back in Tokyo. "Though odds are, most of those tamers are probably a bunch of pimple-faced geeky boys who probably will drool over you. But don't worry. I'll keep off ya," he replied.

Serah didn't have the heart to turn around and give him a dirty look-- considering HE TOO often would make pervy jokes and try to hit on her too. "Great, Commandramon. I feel SO much safer..." she replied as they entered the fountain area of the square.

Recalling the post, she soon saw him-- along with other boys who had joined the party. She was the only girl there for the moment, but it didn't bother Serah that much. Slowly, she approached the group and spoke up. "Is this the Nexus group?" she asked, grabbing their attention.

She waved at them, but kept a neutral expression. With Commandramon at her side, she felt at ease as she waved to them. "The name is Serah. How you boys doing?" she said in a luke-warm greeting.

Like the good internet denizen she was, Yana wasted no time logging onto the Nexus network when Zachary first gave it to her. At first she didn't really do much aside from lurking around, seeing who was already a member and what were they doing with it. Zach had "sold" the membership to Yana due to her interest in learning how to play cards. Even now after what happened in the ashlands, she still wanted to impress her senpai. What she didn't expect (albeit she should have) was to find Haru's name in the list of members. Naturally a card user like herself would be interested in the perks they offered, but knowing her, she wouldn't be very active on the network. But at least her desire to impress her would be a bit easier if they were both part of the same group... As Yana got the message, she couldn't help feeling a bit uneasy. Save for those times with Klara and Karisa - which were completely unexpected - yana had never really tried meeting online friends in real life. Granted, she shouldn't really be calling it real life anyway, since they'd be meeting each other in the digital world. Naturally, since Nexus was a group for tamers more so than card players (Yana for one didn't really know how to play the card game in the first place). She put on some fine clothes before heading to the digital world, determined to make a good impression. "D-do you really think I look alright... Ari...?", Yana would ask bashfully, blushing slightly as she stood in place once again, only for her partner to roll her eyes slightly. The meeting place wasn't that far from here, and the closer the got the more often she asked this question. One might almost be tricked into thinking she was going on a date. SPOILER: Click to show "Again?! I've told you ten times already, you look gorgeous~!", she'd answer with a reassuring, if slightly exhasperated tone. She eventually arrived at the square where she met Zachary and a few other people she had never seen before. However, they mostly knew each other by name, so she promptly approached Zach and waved, smiling and blushing at the people next to him, "Uhm... H-hello... I'm Sekigawa Yana.", she would bow slightly, "Nice to meet you all...!"

At first, Zachary was scared stiff at the thought of no one hardly coming, but that fear soon melted away as he looked around and found a good number of tamers. He was not expecting tens or dozens of people to come. Even among the big world, tamers were rare and not all of them would find his website. So far he counted five people, one he knew personally, others he just met-- but was thrilled when he saw Yana there. She actually joined the site and came to meet them. 

"Hi there, Theo and Dantelion. Nice to meet you," Zachary said with surprise, and even was more happy to see Blake arrive with his partner Blue, or Barkmon. "B-Blake! Hey there, thanks for coming!" Zachary got up and shook both of their hands, showing his gratitude.

The next person was a new face to Zachary-- a shy kind of guy with a white lion like companion! Zachary liked his digimon, and the boy Haruto seemed very nice too. He could tell he was a warm and compassionate. Zachary shook his hand too. "Nice to meet you too. " he greeted, Panthermon nodded as well from his perch on the fountain.

The next person was a rare one-- and probably would get a bit of attention too from people. She introduced herself in a simple but formal manner-- Serah, a girl with blonde hair and green outfit. She came off a bit tom-boyish, but still had her feminine grace to her demeanor, though she stood tall and firm with a command for respect. Zachary turned to her and smiled. "HI there. Thanks for coming. " he said to her, "Yes, this is the Nexus group. I'm Zaber, the founder of the site. And this is Panthermon," Zachary said.

Curious he saw the little digimon beside her-- a strange looking digimon that resembled an Agumon, save for the strange army gear and formation of his skin that looked like digital camouflage. He took out his digivice and scanned him-- wanting to learn more about him. "Huh... COmmandramon. A cyborg oriented digimon. Rookie Level. Special attack is called... "Hecacte 2?" " Zachary read aloud, never seeing a Commandramon before. "That's one unique partner you have there."

Finally, last but not least, Yana appeared. She was probably the most elegantly dressed in the group, as everyone else was casual and there was no requirement to be formal otherwise. Gatomon/Ani was by her side, both of them looking elegant and beautiful. Zachary however couldn't hide the red of his cheeks as he blushed to see Yana dressed up like that. Panthermon didn't fail to notice this, and grinned.

"Y-Yana! Hey there. I'm glad you could make it. Thanks!" Zachary said with enthusiasm.

At this time, Panthermon stretched and got up-- hopping off the fountain edge to join the other digimon on the ground as well. "Hey there, Gatomon. Thanks for coming." the panther said, greeting the cat with a similar cat-like manner. "Yana did know this wasn't a formal event right? She probably is gonna get a lot of attention in that." the cat said, half teasing how Zachary was all aflutter over her appearance.

Despite how he was happy to see Yana there, Zachary shook his head and addressed everyone around. "I'm glad you all could come. I wanted everyone to meet-- tamers and digimon. We all share something pretty big in common and probably have more in common than we think. But you all know why I wanted to bring us together, right?" Zachary asked, feeling he owed them all a good 'speech'. "We share a great responsibility being connected to the digital world, so to know one another and meet others like us would only make that responsibility easier and even more rewarding as well. "

"No need to preach, Zachary. We all konw why we are here," Panthermon said with a smirk, joking a bit.

Zachary turned to his partner with a small scowl and cleared his throat. "Well, anyway I am thrilled you guys answered my message and even came. I know this could be unnerving to meet face to face from the internet, but I doubted it be an issue in this city at least," Zachary said.

(OOC: This is a good time to make IC connections with others in turn, but next post following will be moving into the actual plot of the thread-- deciding to create a location for concrete meetings and finding someone to help with it. )

Dantelion looked around at the others who slowly trickled in. He nodded at them each in turn. He was content to stand and watch. Everyone seemed a little nervous. Probably because they had no idea what they had in common beyond digimon. Theos on the other hand. He ran up to each of them. His tail wagging to the point his hind end was shaking with it. He was happy to see everyone. "Hi, I'm Theos." He said as he hopped  sideways onto the fountain. He ran around it as Zaber gave his speech. Dantelion listened. It was awkward but not unnerving they just had to find common ground and get their footing. He cast a glance to Theos who was happily perched on the side of the fountain beside some of the other digimon. "With so many people maybe some ice breaker games would do," Dantelion suggested. He spoke loud enough to be heard but his voice was kind of soft. He was still uncertain of his own worth in all this. He just had to find his niche. "Ooh, I know what is everyone's favorite food? Mine is the white crunchy boxes with chicken inside." Theos said. "That is because you eat both food and the container." Dantelion sighed. Slightly embarrassing but Theos is half goat so it made sense he could eat just about anything.

Kiss ✰ Me "S-so many new people." Haruto muttered under his breath as more and more came along; obviously they responded to the request that Zachary gave to have everyone come forth and reunite at last instead of merely across a screen. "Don't get social anxiety now, Haruto." Havoc intoned beside him, earning an annoyed look from his human. "Oh put a sock in it, Havoc. That won't happen." Or at least, he'd made sure that it won't happen, he didn't need the embarrassment or humiliation thank you very much. Right, introductions, move your ass Haruto. "Not too shabby, Serah. We're just waiting on the others to arrive before Zachary can start this meeting. It's nice to meet you." Short greeting and to the point, something told him that her blank expression was a bit unwelcoming and the serious air he could feel around her made him a little nervous to approach her and start a conversation. Turning to the lovely dressed girl called Yana, the pink-haired teen returned the bow whilst Havoc merely nodded. "It's nice to meet you too, Sekigawa-san." Standing straight from his bowing position he smiled at the girl. "You look lovely, by the way." He said, his eyes didn't wander nor did the blush; he wasn't really interested in the opposite sex in that way but he did find a beautifully dressed girl aesthetically pleasant. Havoc merely rolled his eyes to himself and approached the Gatomon with a smile. "Heya, the name's Havoc. Your friend seems nervous, does she feel alright?" He asked politely, perhaps Yana was also nervous on meeting strangers like Haruto was? Or perhaps it was merely the way she was dressed compared with everyone else. The human and Digimon politely listened to Zachary's speech, though they couldn't help but chuckle at the amusing sight that Theo was making as he ran around the fountain with his tail wagging crazily behind him. "I'm not gonna lie, I'm not really much of a people's person. Meeting new people scares me a little bit, but at least knowing that we have something in common makes it less so." The pink-haired teen sheepishly brushed the back of his head with a weak grin across his features. Beside him, Havoc snorted but didn't make any sort of comment, but he did reply to Dantelion and Theo's question. "I honestly don't have a favorite food, but I guess the most that I've eaten to so far is Ramen, you can thank cheap boy right here for that." "Oi!"

Serah looked as the group of people slowly grew and conversed. She didn't say much regarding Zachary's group wide welcome, but she would meet him personally in due time. For now, she saw how he was working hard to rally them all, and his partner keeping him in check. She had to admit, she admired many of the digimon there and kept thought to who was partnered with whom. Haruto seemed a bit of the shy one next to everyone else. Dante seemed a bit more mature, as did Zachary-- but their partners were very supportive of one another.

Upon seeing Zachary blush at Yana, Commandramon scratched his nose with a claw. "What did I tell ya? Drooling nerds. Good thing You came with me and-- OOH?"

Serah felt a bit hesitant, seeing Yana-- as she was far more beautiful compared to her, espeially since she was more casually dressed and she chose to come in a dress. For COmmandramon of course, he saw Yana and had hearts in his eyes. Without a second thought, he slid over to where Yana and Ani was and looked up lovingly at Yana. "Well, helllooooo there, honey! How are you this fine day? Don't worry-- the mighty COmmandramon, sharp-shooter extraordinaire will keep an eye out for you. Maybe we can be partners and--"

WHAM!!

Serah didn't hesitate to give Commandramon a swift punch to the back of the head, snapping his head forward. It was not a really harmful hit but enough to snap him out of it. Serah looked to the digimon with a crossed look. "Are you kidding me?! I am your partner, you little traitor! Turn tail over every girl you see? Jeez!" she snapped.

Commandramon rubbed his head. "Heeeeey! I was just kidding!" He squeaked.

Serah sighed, realizing she sort of went all tom-boy before Zachary and Yana. Standing up straight, she composed herself and turned to the other tamers. "Excuse me. It is great to meet you all. I'm glad we decided to come." she said warmly, bowing before them.
