Sushi and Dash (closed)

The smell of salt in the air, the feeling of sand between your toes the bright sun hitting your face, all of this was great if you were going to the beach to enjoy the water, Raiden however wasn't doing any of that. No he was going to get lunch, there had been rumors floating around about a place on the Coela coast that served the freshest sushi and he just had to try it. After growing up in Japan and having the chance to do a vast number of dine and dash at sushi places he was itching to try what was considered the best sushi in the digital world, however this place had to be located on the shoreline so getting to it meant he had to walk through the sand and into the sushi place.

Opening the door to the place he looked around and saw that for the most part it was empty, maybe one or two digimon sitting down, but besides that no one else. Was this really the place that all those digimon raved about? It didn't seem like it, but he would have to try the sushi to see if it really was that good. So he took a seat at the counter and ordered a bottle of sake for himself to start off with and a California roll to get things going. The sake came first so he poured himself a shot of it and took it down with ease waiting for his sushi to arrive.

Bass...?

"Mrrrh. It is rather fortunate to see that you're slowly starting to be 'you' again, mistress." A Solarmon idly buzzed as he and his tamer, a 16 year old wearing a medical eyepatch over her right eye walked into the sushi place, sat down, and ordered...sushi. Apart from that, she really gave her partner no response.

"Naoko. It was merely the one Gazimon..." Agis began, only to be silenced by his tamer pulling up a finger. "...And because of that, I'm one eye less, Agis. Now, can I enjoy some lunch in any degree of peace?"

The Solarmon just whirred sadly. "Very well..." He just couldn't see the problem.

After a few moments he saw a young girl come in and sit down with a digimon, a solarmon to be exact. He was already on his fifth shot of the sake and smiled seeing her enter into the sushi bar. He wasn't going to let someone so gloomy be all alone so he stood up and brought his rather large bottle of sake and his even taller self to sit down next to her. “Well there pretty miss tell me what brings ya to this place?” He said as he poured himself another drink followed by getting his sushi in front of him.

He placed the bottle down on the counter to the left of him while he opened his chopsticks and tried the first bite of the sushi he had ordered. As he chewed it he thought to himself that it was good, better than most places but this wasn't exactly worth all the buzz that was going on about it. Looking to the chef he yelled out “yo chef give me whatever is making all these digimon say you're the best cuz right now I rate you in like the top fifty places I've been to.” He looked back over at the female with a smile across his face. His breath smelling a bit of alcohol.

...Naoko somehow felt like she came for lunch at a very strange time, because some guy just literally stood up and sat next to her. On her blind spot, no less. "I came for lunch and I felt like something from home would be good. Yourself?" Agis meanwhile turned his gaze onto the bottle of sake. Immediate observation: A really tall bottle of sake. Perfect for drowning your sorrows.

And perfect to never mention again.

Naoko noted the slight smell of alcohol in the man's breath, so she started weighing some options. "...I imagine he's good because of his sushi." Speaking of, her plate had arrived. She split the provided chopsticks and tried a few bites.

Hearing her talk about the sushi he looked at her and smiled after finishing off a tall drink from his bottle of sake. “It's good, but not the best little cutie~ Ehh I came to taste the best sushi in the digital world according to everyone, but I'm not really impressed yet.” He said with a grin across his face as a new plate of sushi was placed before him. He looked back at the chef and smiled. “Thanks man I'll pay for this little one too so no hard feelings.” He placed a hand on the top of Noako's head rubbing her hair for a moment before taking a bite of the sushi on his plate. It was much better than the roll he had before, but still not the best he's ever had, but it was whatever it was good enough. “So little cutie what's ya name?”

He while he was drinking a bit he wasn't intoxicated yet, and was a bit curious at the name of this girl, she seemed to be around the same age he was when he first entered the digital world. It was hell when he first got in here, but it seemed like she had a partner to make it a bit easier.

[Bass...?]

"I have been here before. The aftertaste is what really sells this sushi, in my opinion." The Solarmon quipped. "It really set my circuits ablaze...In retribution. That's how good this sushi is, man. You need to see it for yourself in order to experience true belief. Such is the true gist of...The Chef's Sushi." With that, Agis gave a bow, and Naoko's dour expression momentarily shifted to one of extreme amusement. Agis rarely got this chipper/humorous, so that was always nice to see. Agis himself was more amused at the fact that this slightly intoxicated man ruffled his tamer's hair.

Now it was more messy than it was before. "Aizawa Naoko. Yours?"

Raiden's eye rose as he heard what the robotic digimon said, he was rather impressed with the comments given off by what it said. He hadn't met a robotic digimon before that actually had a sense of taste. He was shocked by this entirely. “Well look's like the old tin can over there has a sense of taste after all.” He chuckled a little bit before getting back to his own sushi. “ The names Raiden, just your typical drifter for here and there. So how long ya been in the digital world? Can't be that long given I haven't seen ya yet.” He said with a smile as he took another heavy drink from his sake bottle. Raiden had some odd way of meeting most of the tamers that ended up in the digital world one way or another given his roaming around.
